Low interest rates, negative yields on government debt and quantitative easing are part of the biggest financial experiment in world history, and the consequences are yet unknown, says RIT Capital Partners Chairman Lord Rothschild.

“The six months under review have seen central bankers continuing what is surely the greatest experiment in monetary policy in the history of the world. We are therefore in uncharted waters and it is impossible to predict the unintended consequences of very low interest rates, with some 30 percent of global government debt at negative yields, combined with quantitative easing on a massive scale,” Rothschild writes in the company’s semi-annual financial report.

The banker notes this policy has led to a rapid growth of stock markets – US stocks have grown threefold since 2008 – with investments growing and volatility remaining low.

However, the real sector of economy didn’t enjoy such a profit, as “growth remains anemic, with weak demand and deflation in many parts of the developed world,” according to Rothschild.

Last year, Jacob Rothschild stated that the world was in its most dangerous place since World War II (see Jacob Rothschild: World most dangerous since WWII). It does not seem like he thinks it is less dangerous now.

As far as the global economic condition goes, yesterday, I posted about what some believe are massive risks to the US economy and its currency, some steps of which are expected to be implemented next month–see Plot to destroy US dollar for September 30, 2016? Or is it ‘Will history record September 4th, 2016 as the day the dollar died?’ The reality is that the debt, quantitative easing, and other forms of legal counterfeiting that the USA has been engaged in is a monetary experiment that will explode and lead to the end of the USA according biblical prophecies like the following:

3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry…5 Indeed, because he transgresses by wine, He is a proud man… 6 “Will not all these take up a proverb against him, And a taunting riddle against him, and say, ‘Woe to him who increases What is not his–how long? And to him who loads himself with many pledges’? 7 Will not your creditors rise up suddenly? Will they not awaken who oppress you? And you will become their booty. 8 Because you have plundered many nations, All the remnant of the people shall plunder you. Because of men’s blood And the violence of the land and the city, And of all who dwell in it. (Habakkuk 2:3,5,6-8).

The above prophecy will be fulfilled at the time of the end (cf. “The message was true, but the appointed time was long…in the latter days, for the vision refers to many days yet to come,” Daniel 10:1,14). Daniel 8:19, 11:27,29,35 use the same Hebrew term for “appointed time” as Habakkuk 2:3, while Daniel 10, using a different term, ties the latter days to the time in Daniel 8:19. It must be a nation or group of nations with some prominence at the appointed time of the end–like the most heavily indebted nation of all time–the USA!

Of course, the USA is not the only indebted nation or the only one that has financial problems. A reader forwarded the following link to me today:

‘Something is VERY broken’ Deutsche Bank at DANGER level that could SMASH markets

GERMANY’S biggest bank is in more trouble than people even think and could drag down some of Europe’s biggest lenders to trigger a market meltdown, according to a hedge fund manager who is betting against the firm.

Deutsche Bank is dangerously underfunded, highly indebted, and people are oblivious, according to Brad Lamensdorf who runs the Ranger Equity Bear ETF.

Speaking exclusively to Express.co.uk, the US-based investor and trading strategist warned: “Deutsche is in more trouble than people realise.”

At the moment stock markets in the US are at record highs, while in British and German markets are also enjoying a good run.

But Mr Lamensdorf questioned what would happen to Deutsche – one of Germany’s largest lenders – if if there was a market correction of between 5 and 10 per cent.

So, it is not just the USA with financial issues.

Does that have prophetic ramifications?

The Bible tells of a time of Jacob’s trouble (Jeremiah 30:7; see also When Will the Great Tribulation Begin?), the final time of the Gentiles (see again When Will the Great Tribulation Begin?), and the rise of a worldwide trading power based in Europe (Revelation 17 & 18, see also Europa, the Beast, and Revelation)).

Might economic issues help lead to this?

Consider something that the late Herbert W. Armstrong stated in a sermon on July 7, 1984:

And I can see now, the event that is going to trigger the formation of the reunification in Europe; the resurrection of the medieval Holy Roman Empire that we’ve been looking forward to that is prophesied to come…

But I believe that some event is going to happen suddenly just like out a blue sky that is going to shock the whole world and is going to cause the nations in Europe to realize they must unite! … Well now I think I can see what may be the very event that is going to trigger…that is the economic situation in the world…

The whole banking structure in the United States is a network all jointed together. But not only that, one nation has to deal with other nations and imports and exports. And so they have to have a means of transforming money from one nation to another. And so the banking structure is international and interwoven…

Now when the financial structure breaks down, all civilization is going to break down…

The global monetary policy expansion that Jacob Rothschild brought up will be an experiment that will end in disaster. It is not that the policies cannot appear to have positive results, or that there will not be ups as well as downs, but in the long run, certain crises will arise.

Europe will reorganize (Revelation 17:12-13; see also Must the Ten Kings of Revelation 17:12 Rule over Ten Currently Existing Nations?) and arise as a military power (Revelation 13:4; see also Europa, the Beast, and Revelation). The USA will collapse financially and be taken over (Habakkuk 2:6-8; Daniel 11:39; see also Anglo – America in Prophecy & the Lost Tribes of Israel)

Financial policies are getting the world closer to World War III. And the USA (and its Anglo-Saxon descended allies) will not win this one (cf. Daniel 11:39), and the survivors subject to slavery (see Will the Anglo-Saxon Nations be Divided and Have People Taken as Slaves?).
