PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Law enforcement in Portland declared a riot Friday night as about 200 demonstrators protested the acquittal of a teen who killed two people and injured another in Wisconsin.
The protesters were breaking windows, throwing objects at police and talking about burning down a local government building in downtown Portland, the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office said. The crowd had dispersed by about 11 p.m., KOIN TV reported.
The Portland Police Bureau said several people were given citations, but only one person who had an outstanding warrant from another matter was arrested. …
Protests have been held in several other U.S. cities into Saturday over the verdict, including New York, Los Angeles and Chicago.
About 1,000 people marched through downtown Chicago Saturday afternoon, organized by Black Lives Matter Chicago and other local activist groups. According to the Chicago Tribune, protesters held signs that stated, “STOP WHITE SUPREMACY” and “WE’RE HITTING THE STREETS TO PROTEST THIS RACIST INJUSTICE SYSTEM” with a picture of Rittenhouse carrying a weapon.
Tanya Watkins, executive director of Southsiders Organized for Unity and Liberation, spoke at a rally in Federal Plaza before the march, according to the Tribune.

Portland Rittenhouse Protest Escalates Into Riot
Update (Saturday 0715 ET): The reports turned out to be correct. Protests were seen in multiple cities, and a riot was declared in Portland, Oregon, hours after Kyle Rittenhouse’s acquittal.
Protests were observed in downtown Brooklyn, New York; Boston, Massachusetts; Chicago, Illinois; and Portland, Oregon. Few US trials in recent years have generated such acrimony. What is it about the Kyle Rittenhouse case that so divides the country?
Inside the courtroom, the 18-year-old was visibly shaking as he heard the jury clear him of all five charges, including intentional homicide.
He killed two men during racial unrest in Wisconsin, but successfully convinced the jury he only used his semi-automatic weapon because he feared for his life. …
Race is not central to this case, but for one man it is.
Jacob Blake, who is black, was shot seven times by a white police officer in Kenosha last year.
It was that shooting which sparked the violent protests in the first place. The police officer remains in the force. Mr Blake said in an interview that if Mr Rittenhouse had been of a different ethnicity, “he’d be gone”.
Mr Rittenhouse was not immediately arrested after he shot three white men – two of them fatally – despite surrendering to police.

As the nation continues to react to Kyle Rittenhouse’s acquittal on all charges, the rioters shot by the teenager continue to be characterized as “victims” by mainstream media outlets and left-wing entities, despite Judge Bruce Schroeder banning the use of the term in his courtroom.
In comparison, little attention has been given to the serious criminal records of the rioters who attacked Rittenhouse.

Joseph Rosenbaum … had just been released from a mental institution a day before the shooting. The deceased rioter had a serious criminal record, having been convicted of multiple sex crimes against young boys aged between nine and 11 years old.
According to court documents, Rosenbaum was charged with eleven counts of sex crimes against young boys. …
Joshua Ziminski, the rioter who fired a handgun into the air, also has a lengthy criminal history. He was initially arrested and charged with felony arson, disorderly conduct with a dangerous weapon and obstructing an officer for his role in the incident, but the charges were dropped earlier this year for unknown reasons.
Ziminski’s criminal history dates back to 2002, when he was charged with robbery with use of force, a felony, but the case was reduced to misdemeanor disorderly conduct, according to court records. In 2016, he was found guilty of a hit-and-run in Kenosha, and Zminsky has an open case out of Racine from June 2020 for misdemeanor battery and disorderly conduct, domestic abuse related, according to court records.
Anthony Huber was shot by Kyle Rittenhouse after striking the teenager in the head with a skateboard and attempting to grab his rifle. He was fatally shot in the chest one time. Huber attacked the teenager after being prompted by a pursuing mob, who were yelling “get him!” as Rittenhouse attempted to cross police lines. During the trial, Rittenhouse repeatedly said his intention was to surrender to police immediately.
Huber had a serious of arrests himself, according repeat instances of domestic abuse. According to the New York Daily News, Huber was “arrested several times on battery, drugs and other charges”, according to court records.
In 2012, he had a case where he was convicted of domestic abuse strangulation and suffocation and false imprisonment with a dangerous weapon, both felonies. Huber held a 6-inch-long butcher knife to his brothers neck and violently attacked him.
He told his brother he was going to “gut him like a pig”, according to the criminal complaint. …

Despite this case being about a white person who shot three white people, many (including US President Biden) indicated that this case has involved ‘white supremacy’ and ‘white privilege.’
Riots and burnings are not the way to deal with this.
However, as it turns out, Bible prophecy shows that we should expect more protests, including violent protests:
1 But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, 4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away! 6 For of this sort are those who creep into households and make captives of gullible women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts, 7 always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. (2 Timothy 3:1-7)

We are seeing riots and protests across the USA, protests and skirmishes in Hong Kong, and another potential intifada with the Palestinians over Israel’s annexation plans. As the BBC pointed out, there is division in the USA over the Rittenhouse verdict.
Jesus warned:
25 Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and every city or house divided against itself will not stand. (Matthew 12:25)
17 Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and a house divided against a house falls. (Luke 11:17)
The divide in the USA is growing as many of its sins (including hypocrisy) become more blatant. And it is not just dividing in half, but in many pieces.
Notice the following that Isaiah was inspired to record:
4 Alas, sinful nation,
A people laden with iniquity,
A brood of evildoers,
Children who are corrupters!
They have forsaken the Lord,
They have provoked to anger
The Holy One of Israel,
They have turned away backward.5 Why should you be stricken again?
You will revolt more and more.
The whole head is sick,
And the whole heart faints.
6 From the sole of the foot even to the head,
There is no soundness in it,
But wounds and bruises and putrefying sores;
They have not been closed or bound up,
Or soothed with ointment.7 Your country is desolate,
Your cities are burned with fire;
Strangers devour your land in your presence;
And it is desolate, as overthrown by strangers. (Isaiah 1:4-7)
Truly, the USA is a sinful nation with a people laden with iniquity. This will not end well for the USA (Daniel 11:39; see also in Prophecy: The Strongest Fortresses).
The time of Jacob’s trouble (Jeremiah 30:7), also known as the Great Tribulation (Matthew 24:21), is coming and the USA and its Anglo-Saxon allies (including Canada) will be affected.
National repentance is the only way to prevent it, and that does not look likely. Personal repentance, however, is still possible. If you are an American, your personal future can still be much brighter than that of your country.
Though for the nation, the Kingdom of God is the solution, but the USA will first have to go through a horrific 3 1/2 years. The end of the USA/UK world order is coming and the final Time of the Gentiles is getting nearer.
