Looting Spreads in London, Dow Drops 635 Points!

Certain situations in the Anglo-lands of the United Kingdom and the United States took turns for the worse today:

Looting, arson spread widely in London, as civil unrest escalates

LONDON – Swaths of London became scenes of lawless looting and raging fires Monday as the wave of civil unrest that has gripped this sprawling capital sharply escalated, including fresh riots…The images of violence — with hundreds of youths looting shops, setting businesses ablaze and clashing with police in at least a half-dozen neighborhoods – deeply shocked Londoners…

Dow loses 635 points in Monday trading, Arizona stocks slide

Last week’s losing streak on Wall Street continued Monday with the Dow Jones Industrial Average losing 634.76 points and 5.55 percent of its value.

The Bible warns that the pride of power will be broken (Leviticus 26:19), and both the UK and USA are being affected.

National repentance is the only real long-term hope for the UK and USA (and it seems to be too late for that), There are carnal solutions that the UK and USA could do nowthat could help extend the situation, but too many of its leaders have rejected God and have the type of “reprobate mind” that prevents them from seeing even those “convenient” options (cf. Romans 1:18-32, KJV).

A couple of days ago, I warned that the UK could have more civil unrest (for prophetic and other details see Riots in London and Spain). Civil unrest is also expected for the USA (as well as for continental Europe). The drop in the US Dow today is even higher than that of last Thursday (see Dow Drops 512.76 Points, Biggest Drop Since 2008).

Now, although these things are troubling, the end is not yet:

5 And Jesus, answering them, began to say: “Take heed that no one deceives you. 6 For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am He,’ and will deceive many. 7 But when you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be troubled; for such things must happen, but the end is not yet. 8 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be earthquakes in various places, and there will be famines and troubles. These are the beginnings of sorrows. (Mark 13:5-8)

At most, we are in what Jesus referred to as “the beginning of sorrows”, which precede the Great Tribulation (which will not start before 2015 and more likely a later year than that).

According to Bible prophecy, the end of the Anglo-dominance of the world is coming (Jeremiah 30:7; Daniel 11:39), and the final age of the Gentiles (Luke 21:20-24; Daniel 11:39) will be here in a relatively few years. And there are likely to be a lot more troubles before it gets even worse.
