More World Events Aligned with ‘2012 and Rise of the Secret Sect’ Book

While this page has reported about past, present, and soon-to-be false prophets, it is not that I do not believe that biblical prophecies will not come to pass. At the COGwriter news page, world events are often reported that align themselves with end-time Bible prophecy.

When I wrote the book, 2012 and the Rise of the Secret Sect, my primary focus was on what would likely happen during the years 2012 through 2020. But of course, for many of the events to occur, other world events need to align themselves for them to come to pass.

Back in November 2009, it started to become apparent that several world events that aligned themselves with the predictions discussed in 2012 and the Rise of the Secret Sect were starting to come to pass.

The book 2012 and the Rise of the Secret Sect was released in early September 2009, and world events have aligned with at least 20 prediction in the book.

Since it is now 2012, perhaps a brief review of some of the noticed world events that align with the book should be mentioned.

15. 2012 and the Rise of the Secret Sect warns (through quoting Habakkuk 2:7) that foreign creditors “will rise up suddenly” against the USA (Chapter 8, pp. 131-132, 148).

“At some point, foreign holders will refuse to accept greater amounts of U.S. debt or the dollar as reserve currency,” Mr. Hummel said in a note to investors (Cui C. World Is Bitten by the Gold Bug. Asian nations are holding meetings to try to figure out what to do with their dollar reserves (Adam S. Asia Seeks to Diversify Record Reserves as U.S. Dollar Declines. A June 22, 2011 report issued by the US Congressional Budget Office warned of a possible “sudden fiscal crisis” with foreigners reacting to US debt practices (Taylor A. On August 5, 2011, Standard & Poors downgraded the credit worthiness of the US government (Arnall D. S&P Drops US Credit Rating to AA+. CNBC reported that Guan Jianzhong, chairman of Dagong Global Credit Rating, said that the US dollar is being “discarded by the world,” and the “process will be irreversible” (Wong ES. Dollar to Be ‘Discarded’ by World: China Rating Agency. CNBC, August 7, 2011. http://www.cnbc.com/id/44050325)

And while foreign creditors have not fulfilled the entire prediction in Habakkuk 2 yet, they have taken steps that indicate that they will fulfill it, and this will not be good for the United States.

16. 2012 and the Rise of the Secret Sect warns that Barack Obama will cause people to err and not discourage, but instead encourage, biblical sin (Chapter 8, pp. 130,148).

On February 18, 2011, the Obama Administration issued a ruling that pharmacists must supply abortive medication even if they have religious or other objections to doing so (Rovner J. 17. 2012 and the Rise of the Secret Sect warns that Barack Obama will help enable the rise of a multi-national leader of an Islamic confederation, like an Imam, that the Bible refers to as the King of the South (Chapter 8, p. 132).

Many believed that how Barack Obama has handled the matter in Egypt will lead to unrest in the area and perhaps lead to some religious leaders arising in the Middle East/North Africa (Region incredulous at speed with which U.S. betrayed Mubarak. While many hoped that the “Arab Spring” was going to bring about a rise of secular governments in the Arab World, the reality is that many groups with ties to the Muslim Brotherhood have been gaining ground, including in the formerly more secular states of Tunisia and Egypt (Stephens B. The goal of the Muslim Brotherhood is a multi-national Muslim empire called a caliphate like the Islamic confederation that 2012 and the Rise of the Secret Sect predicted.

While the final top Muslim leader is not yet in place, events and President Obama’s actions appear to be aligning with this prediction.

18. 2012 and the Rise of the Secret Sect warns that China may end up with at least part of Australia (pp. 323, 367).

On November 10, 2011, the author of 2012 and the Rise of the Secret Sect posted that the decision by Australia to accept US Marines in northern Australia may be used as part of justification for China to eventually to attack the land of Australia and perhaps end up with it (Thiel B. On November 18, 2011, it was reported that a Chinese-state newspaper claimed that Australia was putting risking itself in the “cross-fire” and hinted that China might now feel compelled to attack Australia (Calmes J. So, while the actual taking over of Australian lands by China has not yet happened, events aligning with that possibility are happening.

19. 2012 and the Rise of the Secret Sect warned that there will be “Odd weather patterns…and natural disasters… It is the beginning of sorrows” (Chapter 16, p. 240).

The Natural Resources Defense Council reported that “every state experienced an extreme weather event in 2011…The NRDC says nearly 3,000 weather records were broken in the U.S. up to the end of October, 2011” (The map showing how America has been plagued by record-breaking extreme weather in 2011. While there have always been weather problems and national disasters, the fact of a record amount of them in the USA in 2011 is consistent with the prediction in 2012 and the Rise of the Secret Sect.

20. 2012 and the Rise of the Secret Sect warns that a multi-national Islamic confederation will form wanting an Imam, consistent with biblical prophecies for the King of the South (see Chapter 8, pp. 131-134).

A few weeks after the Tunisia’s election in October 2011, Hamadi Jebeli, secretary-general of Ennahda, an Islamist party with ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, claimed: “My brothers, you are at a historic moment in a new cycle of civilisation, God willing. We are in sixth caliphate, God willing” (Mitchell J. Tunisia’s Islamists hail arrival of the ‘sixth caliphate’. The Telegraph. In November/December 2011, two Islamist parties (with more votes for the Muslim Brotherhood) gained political power in Egypt, and there were also similar gains in Morocco earlier in 2011 (Fadel MF. Islamists fare well in first round of Egypt’s elections. CNN, December 3, 2011. http://edition.cnn.com/2011/12/03/world/africa/egypt-elections/).

The goal of the founder of the Muslim Brotherhood was to make a multi-national Islamic confederation led by an Imam. When 2012 and the Rise of the Secret Sect was being written, the Muslim Brotherhood and similar groups were illegal party in Egypt. So, while the final confederation has not yet formed, pieces of it are starting to fall into place.

Concluding Comments

Recognized news sources have reported (though have often not emphasized) these significant events. Most of the public has NOT learned how these events align with end time prophecies and predictions. But none of these events should have been a surprise for those who have read and understood 2012 and the Rise of the Secret Sect.

Prophecies are coming to pass and the groundwork is being shown in significant world events. Those who consider themselves Christians should heed Jesus’ and the Apostle Paul’s admonitions to watch world events (Mark 13:33-36; 1 Thessalonians 5:3-6). Christians and non-Christians should ponder that since some predicted events are coming to pass, that it is highly likely that others will as well. Many more predictions contained within the book 2012 and the Rise of the Secret Sect will also come to pass.

If world prophecies made over the past 3,000 years are coming to pass, perhaps all may wish to understand them and the aligning world events. Those who know can better help themselves and their loved ones.
