A lot of people seem shocked that the fabric of our society is steadily unraveling all around us, but the truth is that this shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone. What we are witnessing is simply the law of cause and effect in action. We have discarded the values that this nation was founded upon, and we have replaced them with new “values” that are diametrically opposed to the old values.

So now we live in a hellhole of our own making. Just about every form of evil that you can possibly imagine is exploding in our society, and crime rates have been rapidly rising all over the nation. …

From the very top to the very bottom, our entire society has become infused with great evil.

Yes, this is a real headline: “Bible College Fires Professor for Tweeting Against Homosexuality, Threatens to Report Him as a ‘Terrorist.’” A Methodist Bible college located in the UK fired one of its professors, Dr. Aaron Edwards—and then threatened to report him as a “terrorist”—for a simple tweet warning evangelicals about the invasion of homosexual behavior into the church and saying that this is severe.

Dr. Edwards tweeted,

Homosexuality is invading the Church. Evangelicals no longer see the severity of this [because] they’re busy apologising for their apparently barbaric homophobia, whether or not it’s true.

He later defended his tweet with:

This is a ‘Gospel issue,’ by the way. If sin is no longer sin, we no longer need a Savior. That is the conservative view. The acceptance of homosexuality as ‘not sinful’ is an invasion upon the Church, doctrinally. This is not controversial. The acceptance is controversial. Most of the global Church would agree. It is not homophobic to declare homosexuality sinful.

The school claims he was “harming the reputation of the institution through his social media activities”—so, yes, this Bible school was concerned that it might have the reputation of believing the Bible and believing that sin is sin if this man kept tweeting! Shouldn’t they rather have been [pleased] to embrace such a “reputation”?

What have we come to as a church when someone proclaiming the obvious truth from God’s Word is fired and threatened by those who claim to be followers of Christ—and if they make that claim, they are obligated to be obedient to his Word? After all, God’s Word says,

John 14:15 KJV – “If ye love me, keep my commandments.”

But it seems these professing Christians fear men, not God, and prefer the praise of men and their own “reputation” to the praise of the King of kings—who will one day sit as the ultimate Judge! Sadly, we are seeing a number of churches and Christian institutions cave to the LGBTQ movement.

In the Bible, the Apostle Paul warned:

13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived (2 Timothy 3:13, KJV).

And certainly that is happening.

Notice also, that after Paul stated, “the truth of Christ is in me” (2 Corinthians 11:10), he warned that there are:

… false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works” (11:13-15).

Thus, Paul is saying that certain professing ministers look like they are doing the right thing, but are really deceptive. Thus one reason to be separate is not to be deceived by Satan’s ministers, because they can look like they are righteous when they are not.

Paul also warned that false teachers, “by smooth words and flattering speech deceive the hearts of the simple” (Romans 16:18).

The biggest scam in the professing Christian world is how its theologians and other leaders do not truly understand and teach the Bible. Most modern Protestants, Eastern Orthodox, and Roman Catholics do not realize that their faiths were not the original one.

The New Testament states Christians are:

3 … to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints. (Jude 3)

The “faith which was once for all delivered to the saints” did not at all resemble modern Protestantism. For documented proof ad scriptural details, check out the following:

If political and theological leaders would better understand and teach the Bible, including understanding the Book of Revelation, we would see major changes in many areas. However, this is not expected to occur until after the return of Jesus Christ and the establishment of His millennial kingdom.

As more Americans abandon God, evil gains a greater foothold in the U.S., working nonstop to demolish our constitutional republic. While many people sense a hidden malignancy choreographing what’s taking place, they can’t identify it. Yes, Satan and his ministers are involved.

Why?

Because of the following:

28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; 29 being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers, 30 backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful; 32 who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them. (Romans 1:28-32)

Despite sounding religious, the world’s leaders, including its theological ones, do not want to retain the true God in their knowledge. Notice that death will happen because of that. And that, to cite one example, is why we have the LGBTQ+ movement gaining power:

18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, 19 because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. (Romans 1:18-19)

26 For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. 27 Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due. (Romans 1:26-27)

As for the timing of all of this happening now, that is also consistent with what the Apostle Paul was inspired to prophesy:

1 But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, 4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away! 6 For of this sort are those who creep into households and make captives of gullible women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts, 7 always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. (2 Timothy 3:1-7)

Yes, we are in the last days (see also Does God Have a 6,000 Year Plan? What Year Does the 6,000 Years End?).

As far humanity killing itself (also called omnicide), notice the words of Jesus:

20 And pray that your flight may not be in winter or on the Sabbath. 21 For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. 22 And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened. (Matthew 24:20-22)

So, while some Christians will be protected (see also There is a Place of Safety for the Philadelphians. Why it May Be Near Petra), humanity will get to the point of destroying all life–yet God will intervene!

As after the tribulation, Jesus will return and establish the millennial Kingdom of God:

29 “Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 30 Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. (Matthew 24:29-31)

15 Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!” (Revelation 11:15)

So, despite what is happening to Western societies, there is good news.
