NY Daily News: ‘God Isn’t Fixing This’
The New York Daily News has a cover that says that God is not fixing the terrorist problems and a related story discourages prayer:

Prayers aren’t working.
White House hopefuls on the Democratic side of the aisle called for stricter gun laws in the wake of the shooting in San Bernardino that left at least 14 dead.
But after yet another mass shooting in America, GOP presidential contenders were conspicuously silent on the issue of gun control.
Instead, the Republicans were preaching about prayer.
“Our prayers are with the victims, their families, and the first responders in San Bernardino who willingly go into harm’s way to save others,” Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) tweeted. …
Democrats — even those not running for office — slammed the GOP presidential candidates for offering prayers instead of action.
“Your ‘thoughts’ should be about steps to take to stop this carnage,” Sen. Chris Murphy (D-Conn) posted on Twitter. “Your ‘prayers’ should be for forgiveness if you do nothing — again.” …
“Praying for all those victimized by the shootings in San Bernardino, California today,” tweeted New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie.
Jeb Bush’s message was nearly identical. …
The Democratic hopefuls struck a strikingly different tone.
“I refuse to accept this as normal. We must take action to stop gun violence now,” Hillary Clinton tweeted.
“Mass shootings are becoming an almost everyday occurrence in this country,” Bernie Sanders tweeted. “This sickening and senseless gun violence must stop.”
Martin O’Malley called out the National Rifle Association by name.

While I did pray for the wounded and the families of the victims, it was for their benefit. Prayers for the afflicted do not stop terrorism.
It would take national repentance to solve the problem of terrorism. Few in the media or the political realm seem to realize this.
Contrary to claims of certain politicians, it is not lack of gun control that caused the shootings. California already has a variety of gun laws. France has a variety of gun laws as well, and that did not stop the Muslim terrorists from killing over a hundred there last month.
The shootings are because the shooters refuse to obey the God of the Bible, but instead obey Satan. Notice the following:
4 whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them. (2 Corinthians 4:4)
As mentioned before (see Muslim terrorists kill in California), the particular shooters in San Bernandino were Muslim, as the following report also confirms:
The San Bernardino shooters who were killed by police, Syed Rizwan Farook and Tashfeen Malik, have been identified by law enforcement as a Muslim husband and wife team who began their day by dropping their 6–month–old baby at a family member’s home, saying they were headed out to a doctor’s appointment. http://www.wnd.com/2015/12/dead-shooter-idd-devout-muslim-syed-farook/
They were Muslims who lied.
While terrorist murder and lying is opposed to the Bible, Muslims are taught that to lie and kill in the name of Islam is acceptable:
Islam believes in war as well as in deceit related to warfare. Notice the following Islamic teachings:

Bukhari 5,59,369 Bin Maslama volunteered to kill an enemy for Muhammad, then said, “Give me permission to deceive him with lies so that my plot will succeed.” Muhammad replied, “You may speak falsely to him.”
Bukhari 8,78,618 Abu Bakr, the prophet Muhammad’s closest friend and adviser and first convert to Islam, said, “If I make a pledge and later discover a more worthy pledge, then I will take the better action and make amends for my earlier promise.”

Murder and bearing false witness are wrong and in violation of the Ten Commandments (see also The Ten Commandments Reflect Love, Breaking them is Evil).

These prophetic traditions, or hadith, were collected by the Persian Muslim scholar Muhammad al-Bukhari, after being transmitted orally for generations. In other words, trusted collections of Islamic written traditions says that Muslims should lie and kill. Well, unless Muslims will denounce these writings, all should realize the dangers that their religion poses. It is not that all Muslims want to be terrorists, and my personal encounters with Muslims have always been positive, but the faith that many Western politicians (including the most recent Republican and Democrat US presidents) have in Islam by referring to it as a “religion of peace” is simply not peaceful according to some of its trusted writings.
The New York Daily News should have reported more of that since they brought God into this, but they did not (at least not in the two articles I read over from it this morning). Here is all I could find that mentioned Muslim or Islam in the two articles:
Farhan Khan, brother-in-law of suspected shooter Syed Farook, speaks at an office of the Council on American-Islamic Relations, in Anaheim, Calif. …
Farook’s brother-in-law said he was in “shock” over what happened.
“I have no idea why he would do that, why would he do something like this,” Farhad Kahn said during a press conference hosted by the Council on American-Islamic Relations. “I have absolutely no idea. Farhad Kahn says he has NO IDEA why his Muslim relatives would deceive and kill, despite what the Islamically trusted writings from Bukahari teach. Well, the ‘god’ of Islam is a cause of terrorism.
So, what else causes terrorism?
Although there are several causes (e.g. James 4:1-4), the Bible prophesies terrorism will come upon those who do not observe God’s commandments and who despise His statutes:
14 ‘But if you do not obey Me, and do not observe all these commandments, 15 and if you despise My statutes, or if your soul abhors My judgments, so that you do not perform all My commandments, but break My covenant, 16 I also will do this to you: I will even appoint terror over you, wasting disease and fever which shall consume the eyes and cause sorrow of heart. And you shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it. 17 I will set My face against you, and you shall be defeated by your enemies. Those who hate you shall reign over you, and you shall flee when no one pursues you. (Leviticus 26:14-17)
God would fix this if enough people really would obey Him. More and more in the USA will not observe God’s commandments and more and more legal decisions are contrary to, and basically despise His statutes (the LGBT agenda, including transgender actions, come to immediate mind). No one should be surprised that the USA has experienced terrorism–and as I have written for years, more will come.
While some running for the office of the USA president might personally be opposed to many aspects of the LGBT agenda, do not look for them to be able to reverse it. Instead, many (including all on the Democratic side) either want to keep the ‘gains’ of the LGBT community or want to push for more ‘gains’ that are contrary to God’s statutes and commandments.
Although national repentance is not likely, personal repentance is. God does have a plan of protection from the Great Tribulation for those who are Philadelphian Christians in the 21st century (Revelation 3:7-13; see also There is a Place of Safety for the Philadelphians. Why it May Be Petra).
God does have a plan to fix this, but the politicians do not know what it is. The plan is the replacement of the governments of this world with the Kingdom of God:
15 Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!” (Revelation 11:15)
This is something that the New York Daily News does neither believe nor advocate. But it will be the solution to terrorism. God will fix this.
