Obama pushing firms to provide more espionage data

Supposedly to reduce the risk of cyber-attacks, the President of the United States is pushing commercial firms to provide more espionage data to the government of the USA:

President Obama is expected to unveil executive actions Friday designed to increase information sharing among private sector companies and federal law enforcement.At a cybersecurity summit to be held on the Stanford University campus Friday, Obama will announce initiatives to form organizations that will gather, share and analyze information, as well as ease access to cybersecurity threat information for corporate entities. The executive order is also expected to enable the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to better manage the flow of information into the government.

The administration says strengthening the federal government’s capabilities is becoming increasingly necessary to protect American consumers.

“Cybersecurity and consumer protection are two sides of the same coin,” Obama’s economic adviser, Jeff Zients said, in a briefing with reporters. “When a company invests in strong cybersecurity, they are protecting not just their own networks, but in most cases their customers’ information and security as well.”

The White House is introducing these policies after several large-scale security hacks have claimed major corporate victims like retail giant Target and Anthem, America’s second largest health care insurance provider. These breaches have put the personal information of millions of Americans at risk, compromising everything from addresses and birth dates to Social Security numbers.

But, as White House Cybersecurity Coordinator Michael Daniel admits, it’s going to take more than just the government to patch these cybersecurity holes.

“No one can do this mission by themselves,” Daniel said. “As you look at all the things we want to do to drive the growth in the digital economy, it’s clearly something that has to be done in partnership with the private sector and the federal government.”

So they’re turning to Silicon Valley for help.

In the wake of recent cyber attacks, several private industry titans are expected to embrace these new measures.

Apple and Intel will be attending as the summit’s big tech names, while several financial companies are also backing the administration’s moves. Years ago, an assistant bank manager told me privately that one of his ‘duties’ was to act as a spy for the US Treasury and report any potentially suspicious financial transactions. Years later, the US government ostensibly told its postal carriers to spy for the government.

Now, many larger firms are to do so electronically.

Apparently, the Snowden revelations have not changed the attitudes of many that the citizenry should be monitored in every possible way.

Even in the small town of Arroyo Grande, California (where our church’s main office is located) has security cameras in public areas to monitor for potential crime as well as various electronic forms of traffic enforcement. Arroyo Grande has never had a high crime rate as far as I can tell, but is more and more looking like a police state (I noticed three police cars yesterday withing a one mile radius).

The United Kingdom may be worse than the USA in terms of security cameras, but the reality is that both nations are preparing the world for the type of surveillance that the Bible indicates that the final Beast of Revelation will have at his disposal.

Notice that Bible prophecy warns about a power that that will have a tremendous amount of control and even understand secret/hidden things:

15 He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. 16 He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, 17 and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

18 Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666. (Revelation 13:15-18, NKJV)

23 ‘And in the latter end of their kingdom, about the perfecting of the transgressors, stand up doth a king, fierce of face, and understanding hidden things; (Daniel 8:23, Young’s Literal Translation)

It will likely take computers aided with artificial intelligence to aid in the fulfillment of the above scriptures, as well as cyber-spying/monitoring. Thus, even though I do not believe that there can possibly this type of computer takeover of the world coming this year, I do believe that cyber monitoring will be used by the European Beast, King of the North, 666 power.
