Poland elected Donald Tusk its Prime Minister:

Poland’s Prime Minister-designate Donald Tusk laid out his political program to parliament on Tuesday morning ahead of a confidence vote scheduled for later in the day.

On Monday, a majority of Polish MPs elected Tusk as the country’s new prime minister, shortly after the proposed conservative government of acting PM Mateusz Morawiecki failed to win lawmakers’ backing.

Tusk became prime minister nearly two months after national elections won by a coalition of parties ranging from left-wing to moderately conservative.

He previously served as Poland’s prime minister from 2007 to 2014 before taking over as European Council president from 2014 to 2019. …

Speaking to lawmakers on Tuesday, 66-year-old Tusk expressed a vote of confidence in the European Union.

“We are all the stronger, all the more sovereign when not only Poland is stronger but also the European Union,” he said.

Donald Tusk is returning to power as Poland’s new prime minister after nearly a decade. He’s now vowing to “chase away the darkness … chase away the evil” of the prior eight years of tumultuous national-conservative rule.

On Monday, Poland’s parliament voted to back his nomination as the next prime minister. It’s being hailed as a major win for pro-EU centrists at a moment Eurocrats in Brussels have feared the growing influence of ‘far right disruptors’ from Hungary to Italy to the Netherlands. His detractors have denounced Tusk as a globalist who will sell out Poland’s national sovereignty, culture, and traditional values. …

“Thank you, Poland. This is a wonderful day, not for me, but for all those who have deeply believed over these years that things will get even better,” Tusk said. “From tomorrow, we will be able to right the wrongs so that everyone, without exception, can feel at home,” he pledged, and laid out that his three-way alliance (a coalition ranging from from left-wing to moderate conservative) which emerged with a clear mandate in October’s elections would “fix everything together.”

Yes, Donald Tusk is a pro-EU politician. He is more of a globalist and less of a nationalist leader. He hopes to mend some of the differences between Poland and the European Union. He wants a stronger, more unified EU.

When he was EU Council President, Donald Tusk warned of special punishment for Brexiters (those that supported the UK’s departure from the European Union), whereas UK’s Nigel Farage pointed to heaven as their reward:

BRUSSELS (AP) — European Council President Donald Tusk took a swipe Wednesday at some Brexit-backers in Britain, wondering aloud what “special place in hell” might be reserved for those who had no idea how to deliver the country’s exit from the European Union. …

“I have been wondering what a special place in hell looks like for those who promoted Brexit without even a sketch of plan how to carry it out safely,” Tusk told reporters after talks with Irish Prime Minister Leo Varadkar.

Tusk’s comments drew predictable outrage from British Brexiteers. House of Commons Leader Andrea Leadsom, a pro-Brexit Conservative, said Tusk’s remark was “pretty unacceptable and pretty disgraceful. … it totally demeans him.”

And former U.K. Independence Party leader Nigel Farage tweeted: “After Brexit we will be free of unelected, arrogant bullies like you and run our own country. Sounds more like heaven to me.”

Britain is due to leave the EU on March 29 — the first time a country has ever done so. …

“The EU 27 is not making any new offer,” Tusk said, adding that the legally binding withdrawal agreement, which May negotiated and backed vociferously, cannot be renegotiated.

Tusk and Varadkar said EU nations were intensifying preparations for a ‘no-deal’ British exit — a possibly disastrous development that could inflict heavy economic and political damage in the U.K. and the EU alike.

After making his comments, the BBC reported that Donald Tusk then sent out the following tweet:

While there is no divine “special place” of punishment nor reward for Brexiters, Donald Tusk’s comments reveal the intense hatred for Brexit and the UK by many in the EU leadership.

What is “Hell”? This is lesson 15 of the Study the Bible Course. This deals with biblical and non-biblical views of punishment of humans and Satan. It explains the meaning of three Greek words often translated as “hell,” as well as Old Testament concepts. It contains many scriptures and even deals with issues like “their worm dies not.”

That said, Donald Tusk is probably unaware of the ‘special’ punishment that the Europeans will one day give the UK.

While the Europeans are UK and USA allies, the Bible shows that the UK and USA will be taken over by “friends”:

1 How lonely sits the city That was full of people! How like a widow is she, Who was great among the nations! The princess among the provinces Has become a slave!

2 She weeps bitterly in the night, Her tears are on her cheeks; Among all her lovers She has none to comfort her. All her friends have dealt treacherously with her; They have become her enemies. (Lamentations 1:1-2)

That will be the end of the UK and the USA.

For those that think this could not happen to the USA, understand that Daniel 11:39 shows that a European power will destroy the ‘strongest fortresses’–which in the 21st century belong to the USA (and to a lessor degree its British-descended allies). This shows that the USA will be defeated, despite its military strength (see also USA in Prophecy: The Strongest Fortresses).

Notice some statements put out by writers once part of the old Radio Church of God, old Worldwide Church of God, and/or the current Continuing Church of God years before the Brexit vote:

Here is Britain trying to GET IN on this uniting of Europe! … It is this same daughter of ancient Babylon who is to lay the YOKE of captivity and slavery on America and Britain. …

Britain is allowing it self to get mixed in with European foreigners… When God brings Britain DOWN-the rime of JACOBS’ S TROUBLE -the only time when the DAUGHTER of Babylon will be sitting astride a united MILITARY EUROPE. (Armstrong HW. BRITAIN’S DOOM Prophesied for Common Market Seeking Membership! Plain Truth, July 1962)

Bible prophecy clearly shows that Britain will not be one of the … NATIONS comprising the final United States of Europe (McNair R. A Strong United Europe. Tomorrow’s World, February 1970, p. 17).

Perhaps it should be mentioned that the general position within the Churches of God is that Britain will not remain in the EU and will pull out at some point. (Thiel B. It should be understood that ultimately, Britain will NOT thrive as part of the EU but will be taken over by the final European Beast power–yet its former Prime Minister is promoting something that will not help the peoples of the UK. Ephraim (modern Great Britain) will not be part of the “Beast” power, so we can expect some significant change that will push the British out of the EU. (Davis. D. Ireland says “No!” to EU power grab. Commentary, July, 1 2008)

The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland will not be an equal part of the European Union. Britain will either pull out or be forced out or at least truly lose its sovereignty. Many of the Anglo-peoples of the UK, USA, etc. that are not killed will to be scattered and many will be made slaves (Will the Anglo-Nations be Divided and Have People Taken as Slaves?). That is what the Bible shows will happen during the Great Tribulation.

As far as this “Beast King” goes, he could possibly be the next EU president, but a restructure ultimately will be needed in Europe for the King of the North to have the type of power that the Bible indicate he will have (Revelation 17:12-13). The EU is not ready for that yet.

However, Tony Blair’s statements today are pointing to one more step towards certain biblical prophesies being fulfilled as he is realizing that the UK wants to pull out of the UK–and that is something will happen (directly or indirectly).

The final King of the North (Daniel 11:27-40) will take over the UK, USA, and their Anglo-allies according to Bible prophecy (cf. Daniel 11:39). While more people in the UK are starting to realize that the EU poses dangers to it, most have no idea how dangerous the rising Beast power in Europe will become (cf. Revelation 13:1-4; Daniel 11:39). Britain will ultimately NOT thrive as part of the EU but will be taken over by the final European Beast power. (Thiel B. The late Worldwide Church of God Pastor General, Herbert W. Armstrong, made it clear that he believed that the European King of the North (the one mentioned in Daniel 11:39-40 which is the same one who places the abomination mentioned in Daniel 11:31, where the 1290 days starts) would destroy the British and American peoples. Notice some of what he wrote about that in 1979:

The indication is the armies of the “beast” of Revelation 17, entering Jerusalem (Dan 11:41, Zech. 14:2), will stop this “daily sacrifice”…And the abomination that maketh desolate set up.” What is this abomination? This refers to Daniel 11:31 and Matthew 24:15 … From this time (Daniel 12:11) to Christ’s coming will be 1290 days. Now, verse 12, “Blessed is he that waiteth, and comes to the 1335 days.” Never before have we understood these periods of 1260, 1290. and 1335 days. But it seems evident, now, a blessing is pronounced on us–GOD”S CHURCH–who wait and endure until the 1335 days–approximately 1335 days prior to Christ’s coming… We shall then be warned, and readied to be taken to a place of refuge and safety from the Great Tribulation. Forty-five days later “the beast’s armies” will surround Jerusalem. Thirty days later the Great Tribulation will probably start with a nuclear attack on London and Britain–and possibly the same day or immediately after, on the United States and Canadian cities. The GREAT TRIBULATION, we shall fully then realize, is the time of “Jacob’s Trouble,” spoken of in Jeremiah 30:7. And Jacob’s name was named on Joseph’s sons, Ephraim and Manasseh (Gen. 48:16). At that time a third of the people in our nations will die, or shall have died, by famine and disease epidemics; another third will dies of the war–our cities being destroyed (Ezek. 6:6), and the remaining third will be carried to the land of our enemies as slaves (Ezek. 5:12). Australians and New Zealanders should not take real comfort in the above, as after the USA and UK are out of the way, they along with Canada will been among “the nations not a few’ (Isaiah 10:7, KJV) that the forces of the King of the North will “cut off” (for more information about Canada, who was listed above, please see the article Canada in Prophecy: What Does Bible Prophecy, Catholic Prophecy, and other Predictions Suggest About the Future of Canada?; for more information related to Australia and New Zealand, watch Are Chinese threats against Australia for real?).

Consider also that the Bible tells of a coming time of special and massive devastation:

23 ‘The whole land is brimstone, salt, and burning; it is not sown, nor does it bear, nor does any grass grow there, like the overthrow of Sodom and Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboiim, which the Lord overthrew in His anger and His wrath.’ (Deuteronomy 29:23)

19 Through the wrath of the LORD of hosts
The land is burned up,
And the people shall be as fuel for the fire; No man shall spare his brother.
20 And he shall snatch on the right hand
And be hungry;
He shall devour on the left hand
And not be satisfied; Every man shall eat the flesh of his own arm. 21 Manasseh shall devour Ephraim, and Ephraim Manasseh; Together they shall be against Judah (Isaiah 9:19-21).

The above descriptions are consistent with a fiery nuclear or similar attack. Manasseh represents the USA and Ephraim its British-descended allies. THIS HAS NOT YET HAPPENED IN HISTORY AND IS A PROPHECY FOR OUR TIME.

A real war between Europe and the USA, with the UK basically on the USA’s side, will come as one day Europe will take steps to ‘eliminate the competition’ so to speak (cf. Daniel 8:25; 11:39; USA in Prophecy: The Strongest Fortresses).

Anyway, Donald Tusk is coming back in power and he has a particular disdain for the UK.

Let me also add that Donald Trump was one of few well know political leaders outside of the UK that publicly supported Brexit–and yes, there are European concerns about him coming back into office.

There will be a special European punishment for the UK and USA and while it will not be as Donald Tusk has speculated, it will involve fire and destruction.
