Republicans debate as Hillary Clinton meets with Kim Kardashian
There were two debates last night related to Republicans who hope to occupy the White House in 2017.
The first one featured 7 Republican candidates who were not in the ‘top ten’ according to a compilation of polls used by FOX News. Here is a news report related to that debate:

During the early Fox News GOP debate between the “secondary” group of Republican candidates (those not polling in the top ten nationally), the candidates were reminded of Barack Obama’s description of Hillary Clinton during the 2008 Democratic primaries. The president called the current Democratic front-runner “likeable enough,” a two-worded barb that was used against Mr Obama during the New Hampshire primary of that year.
The GOP candidates were asked to offer their own descriptions of Ms Clinton – in just two words. However, none of them – bar Rick Santorum who said she was “secretive and untrustworthy” (we’ll allow him the “and”) – could muster only two words, some even rambling on.
George Pataki said Ms Clinton was “divisive and with no vision at all” (seven words); Lindsey Graham called her “not the change we need at a time we need it” (11 words); while Jim Gilmore’s two words were “professional politician that can’t be trusted” (six words).

Carson, Huckabee and Walker all performed credibly, with Carson having the debate’s best line: “I’m the only one on the stage to separate Siamese twins. I’m the only one to remove half a brain, though you would think if you went to Washington that someone had beat me to it.”

Let me state that to claim that Donald Trump ‘lost’ the debate would seem to be an overstatement. Donald Trump got a lot of media coverage during and after the debate, and I believe some of his earlier comments about Mexicans and John McCain will likely cause him more long-term damage than him not committing in last night’s debate that he will remain in support of Republicans.

I do agree that the USA is in big trouble, but do not believe that any of the Republican candidates can fix it. However, some would probably tend to slow down the decline if elected.

While I am unwilling to concede that since all the Democrats I am aware of running for the presidential nomination support abortion and the homosexual agenda, I am not convinced that God is in the process of blessing the Republican Party.
Now since God can decide who will win, it should be understood that does not necessarily mean the best person will according to the BIble:
7 ‘This decision is by the decree of the watchers,
And the sentence by the word of the holy ones,
In order that the living may know
That the Most High rules in the kingdom of men,
Gives it to whomever He will,
And sets over it the lowest of men.’ (Daniel 4:17)
So, God apparently often sets the lowest of men up as leaders.
And it is not only males that can be set up. The Bible warns the following related to females:
12 As for My people, children are their oppressors,
And women rule over them.
O My people! Those who lead you cause you to err,
And destroy the way of your paths. (Isaiah 3:12)
As most everyone knows, a woman who wants to lead the USA, who is staunchly pro-abortion and stridently pro-homosexual, is the Democrat Hillary Rodham Clinton.

Instead of watching the Republican presidential debate, Hillary Clinton found a celebrity to hang out with: Kim Kardashian.
During the debate, Kardashian tweeted she was “excited to be meeting our next President tonight!! Maybe she’ll take a selfie with me.”
Kardashian, it turns out, was on her way to a fundraiser for Clinton, hosted by Scooter Braun -– the music manager of Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande.

Kim Kardashian was a ‘reality’ television star who sometimes wears too little in public. She promotes pornography, and reportedly it was a broadcasted scene related to her and sexual intercourse that made her quite popular. Her ‘success’ is not something to celebrate. Yet, since she has multiple millions of Twitter followers (and millions more not on Twitter), she probably is influencing some followers to support Hillary Clinton. Apparently she is a Democrat.
But let me add that neither the Republican Party nor the Democratic Party will save the USA.
The USA needs national repentance, otherwise it is doomed–Bible prophecy shows that it will be taken over because of its immorality (Jude 6-7; Hosea 4:6-9; 2 Chronicles 28:19) and debts (Ezekiel 22:13-15; Habakkuk 2:6-8), despite having the world’s strongest military (Daniel 11:39).
The Bible also says that most people will NOT believe that even if it were told to them:
5 “Look among the nations and watch —
Be utterly astounded!
For I will work a work in your days
Which you would not believe, though it were told you.
6 For indeed I am raising up the Chaldeans,
A bitter and hasty nation
Which marches through the breadth of the earth,
To possess dwelling places that are not theirs. (Habakkuk 1:5-6)
While people will not believe it, the USA will be destroyed. Habakkuk also warned that the time will come when people should run as the prophecies for what will happen are so severe (Habakkuk 2:2-3). While we are NOT yet at that time (cf. Matthew 24:6), we are getting closer. The 2016 election will not fix the biblically serious problems of the USA.
It is almost impossible to believe that the next USA president would call for meaningful repentance before the USA is hit with more massive problems. The USA needs the return of Jesus Christ and the Kingdom of God.
