Let’s start out by stating that yes, the UN, WEF, EU, and many others share a type of globalist agenda.

Globalism Conspiracy or Convergence?

In May of 2022, the World Economic Forum held a conference where thousands of the world’s elites attended, essentially in support of a ‘great reset’ to change society. In June 2022, the Bilderberg Group met essentially to do the same thing. In June 2022, Pope Francis told a group invited by Cardinal Kurt Koch, “Unity does not come about by standing still.” Whereas the Roman Catholic group, whose co-president in Marc Stengel, called for more cooperation with the United Nations and apparently supporters of Gandhi. The World Council of Churches also supports the globalist agenda as do the Freemasons and others. Could Satan be the real conspirator behind this? Will humanity be able to bring about utopia? Or can true Christian unity and utopia only come about with the return of Jesus and the Kingdom of God? Will the globalist agenda succeed for a time? Dr. Thiel addresses these and other issues.

That said, the Bible is clear that a new world order will be established after the ride of the fourth horseman of the Apocalypse begins.

Revelation states:

7 When He opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature saying, “Come and see.” 8 So I looked, and behold, a pale horse. And the name of him who sat on it was Death, and Hades followed with him. And power was given to them over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword, with hunger, with death, and by the beasts of the earth. (Revelation 6:7-8)

So, the opening of the fourth seal is the time that the pale horse of death is apparently increasing death by war, hunger, and pestilences (which includes microscopic and large beasts of the earth).

Sometime during the beginning of sorrows, one the Bible calls a prince will start to rise up (Daniel 9:26-27) and eventually (within 3 1/2 years) he is one who will be the final biblical King of the North (cf. Daniel 11:31-40).

He will pretend to be religious and supportive of the white horseman who has been ushering in an ecumenical and interfaith universal religion. He will not truly be a believer in the Roman Catholic faith as we know it as he will eventually demand worship of himself (see also Who is the Man of Sin of 2 Thessalonians 2?).

The Bible tells that his followers will betray the church of seven hills (Revelation 17:15-18).

Some of the Orthodox teach the about his future claimed religion:

The Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church is not going to be Roman Catholic, (as the words are understood today), but rather Catholic in the sense of Universal (Tzima Otto, H. The Great Monarch and WWIII in Orthodox, Roman Catholic, and Scriptural Prophecies. Verenika Press, Rock City (SC), 2000, p 121).

I specifically believe that the Great Monarch, that some Roman Catholics are incorrectly looking forward to, is the “King of the North” and his new religious order is specifically warned against in the Book of Daniel (11:37-38; see also The Great Monarch: Biblical and Catholic Prophecies).

One interesting 15th century Roman Catholic prophecy foretells a time a “great prince” will rise up, “all Germany” will apparently covert to the ecumenical religion, and then massive conversions elsewhere “will happen quickly”:

Blessed Joannes Amadeus de Sylva (died 1482): Germany and Spain will unite under a great prince … After much slaughtering, the other nations will be forced to come into this union. There is no hope for the unbelievers until all of Germany is converted; then all will happen quickly … the time will be prolonged until all countries unite under the Great Ruler. After this union, mass conversions will take place … (Connor E. Prophecy for Today, p. 34).

Slaughtering will occur during the rides of the second and third horsemen of the Apocalypse, and then this prince will rise up.

Now let’s look at the sequence Jesus states about end time events as Matthew recorded:

4 …”Take heed that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. 6 And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows. (Matthew 24:4-8)

Four of the sorrows Jesus pointed to coincide with the ride of the four horsemen of the Apocalypse (Revelation 6:1-8).

These and other crises will persuade Europe to reorganize and turn power over the dictatorial Beast:

12 “The ten horns which you saw are ten kings who have received no kingdom as yet, but they receive authority for one hour as kings with the beast. 13 These are of one mind, and they will give their power and authority to the beast. (Revelation 17:12-13)

Now, let’s continue with Jesus’ words in Matthew 24:

9 “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. 10 And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. 11 Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. 12 And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. 13 But he who endures to the end shall be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.

15 “Therefore when you see the ‘abomination of desolation,’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place” (whoever reads, let him understand), 16 “then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. (Matthew 24:9-16).

Notice that Jesus then pointed to persecution, and then mentioned the ‘abomination of desolation,’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet.

Daniel points to a two-part persecution in Daniel 7:25:

25 He shall speak pompous words against the Most High,
Shall persecute the saints of the Most High,
And shall intend to change times and law.
Then the saints shall be given into his hand
For a time and times and half a time. (Daniel 7:25)

The second line above is a reference to Philadelphian Christians being persecuted. That corresponds to the sequence in Matthew 24:9-10.

Notice again Matthew 24:15.

Who is involved with the abomination? Well, according to Daniel it is the one who confirmed the covenant as a prince, who 3 1/2 years later becomes the King of the North:

26 “And after the sixty-two weeks
Messiah shall be cut off, but not for Himself;
And the people of the prince who is to come
Shall destroy the city and the sanctuary.
The end of it shall be with a flood,
And till the end of the war desolations are determined.
27 Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week;
But in the middle of the week
He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering.
And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate,
Even until the consummation, which is determined,
Is poured out on the desolate.” (Daniel 9:26-27)

29 “At the appointed time he shall return and go toward the south; but it shall not be like the former or the latter. 30 For ships from Cyprus shall come against him; therefore he shall be grieved, and return in rage against the holy covenant, and do damage.

“So he shall return and show regard for those who forsake the holy covenant. 31 And forces shall be mustered by him, and they shall defile the sanctuary fortress; then they shall take away the daily sacrifices, and place there the abomination of desolation. (Daniel 11:29-31)

So, the sequence that Jesus points to is:

There will be sorrows, which also correspond to the four horseman of the Apocalypse.
The fourth horseman, which corresponds to Jesus’ warning about pestilences, would involve some type of pandemic.
After all of the sorrows begin, a persecution will ensue.
Verses in Daniel show that the persecution will be related to the one is enraged against the holy covenant (the most faithful Christians) and who places the abomination in the holy place.

The Bible shows that the four horsemen correspond to the opening of the first four seals in Revelation 6.

The fifth seal, which has to do with persecution, comes next:

9 When He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony which they held. 10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, “How long, O Lord, holy and true, until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?” 11 Then a white robe was given to each of them; and it was said to them that they should rest a little while longer, until both the number of their fellow servants and their brethren, who would be killed as they were, was completed. (Revelation 6:9-11)

So, with the fifth seal, we also see a two-part persecution. The first part is for those martyred before it was open (like the second line in Daniel 7:25), whereas the others that will in “a little while longer” are those who are subject to being killed during the time, times, and half a time (the fourth and fifth lines of Daniel 7:25), which is also the same period, called 42 months in Revelation 13:5-9, that the Beast that rises from the sea persecutes.

As other scriptures show that this leader is totalitarian, yes, it is biblically reasonable to conclude that aspects of what can be called the globalist agenda will be put in place after a pandemic.

Fourth Horseman, COVID, and the Rise of the Beast of Revelation

The 6th chapter of the Book of Revelation tells of the ride of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. What do each represent? Is the novel coronavirus, also known as COVID-19, part of the fourth horseman? Does the Bible point to around 2 billion people dying from hunger, war, and the beasts of the earth? Was the ancient Roman Empire impacted by pestilences? What about the black death, also known as the Bubonic plague? Are disease epidemics part of the beginning of sorrow and troubles that Jesus spoke about in Matthew 24 and Mark 13? Does the pale green horseman represent Islam? Could genetically modified organisms (GMOs) or synthetic biology cause or contribute to coming pandemics? Is chemical and biological warfare (CBW) a real threat to humanity? What about a doomsday bug or antibiotic resistant superbugs? Is fear a contagion that will help people move away from democracy? Will scientists be able to stop what is coming? Is the good news that the Kingdom of God will? Could COVID-19 be setting the stage for the rise of the ‘prince,’ who will become the totalitarian Beast of the Sea (also known as 666 and the King of the North)? Is this leader similar to the Great Monarch of Greco-Roman Catholic prophecies? When is the Great Monarch supposed to arise according to the Eastern Orthodox? Why might Europe be less affected by the ride of the third horseman that the US, Canada, and the UK? Are governments taking steps now, consistent with the words of Adolf Hitler? What seal represents the start of the Great Tribulation? Which Christians did Jesus promise to protect from the coming “hour of trial”?
