Of course, it is not just Scotland putting together ways for more surveillance. More and more we see a growing trend towards being watched with video cameras, similar to and often worse than what was in George Orwell’s book, Nineteen Eighty-Four. In that book, it mentions that ‘Big Brother,’ meaning the government, was always watching you.

In more and more ways now, with modern technology, that is possible.

Many governments around the world are putting totalitarian surveillance steps in place–including many beyond what George Orwell imagined.

This type of financial surveillance could not have happened during the time of the Apostle John as there was no real way to monitor many financial transactions then (despite the fact that ‘preterists’ believe this was fulfilled almost 2000 years ago, see also The Dangerous Rise of Preterists). The same was true for all the centuries that followed until the late 20th and now the 21st century. But now not only does the technology exist to monitor most financial transactions, the political will is there as well.
It will be a European power that will fulfill the above prophecy of 666 (watch Can You Prove that the Beast to Come is European?). …
While 2025 will not see a cashless world, expect to see more movements towards monitorable payments. …

Is Germany Becoming Orwell’s 1984?
In his novel 1984 George Orwell described a totalitarian government that controlled all aspects of human existence. “Big Brother is Watching You” was the reality of this government. George Orwell introduced “Newspeak”, a language that was designed to limit the range of thought. He also defined his concept of “Doublethink”, which is the ability to hold two contradictory beliefs at once and, yet accept both as reality. In 1984, the Thought Police were tasked with actually controlling what people can even think, let alone what they can say! The year 1984 has come and gone, but has George Orwell’s “Big Brother” government finally started to arrive? Are many governments in the world today adopting many of the ideas and tactics outlined in George Orwell’s book? If so, what government or governments are leading the way? Sadly, the type of society that George Orwell wrote about is taking shape. Many realize it, but do not know what do to about it. But many can be called now (see What Did Christ Mean – Many Are Called, But Few Are Chosen?).
Furthermore, there is good news as the Kingdom of God will come and replace the Orwellian (Revelation 13:16-18) system that we see being put together today.
And have no doubts, the type of Orwellian society that the Bible warned about for the end times is truly taking shape. The German position on social media is simply another step in preparation for that.
