… Space Seer: Seventh-day Adventist prophetess Ellen White had visions of aliens who were free of sin.

It was the mention of Ellen White that first grabbed my attention.

So, here is some of what that article mentions related to her:

Seventh-day Adventism

Seventh-day Adventism emerged in the 19th century in part as a solution to theological problems stemming from the possibility of extraterrestrial life. The prophetess, Ellen White, described visions of extraterrestrial beings in different worlds that were “tall, majestic people” and entirely without sin. These visions inform the religion’s bedrock belief that since aliens are not affected by original sin, they do not need Christian redemption.

Of course, a serious problem could emerge if ET turns out to be evil. I had not realized that Ellen White had made that claim.

Let me basically state that 1) I do not believe that Ellen White was God’s prophetess and 2) that the Bible indicates that there are sinless angels, God, and Jesus, but does not discuss other intelligent beings in heaven who would be sinless. Hence, I consider Ellen White’s vision demonic.

Now getting back to the article, it has the following:

For the religious, knowing that life on Earth is not unique may demand radical new ways of thinking about ourselves: How special and sacred are we? Is Earth a privileged place? Do we have an obligation to care for beings on other planets? Should we convert ET to “my” religion? These questions point to a deeper issue about whether our religions can adapt to the idea that humans are not the only sentient beings in the universe capable of worshiping God. …

“ET” stands for extraterrestrial. Meaning an alien from outer space.

The scriptural reality is that when Jesus returns, the Bible shows that the world will fight against Him:

18 The nations were angry, and Your wrath has come,
And the time of the dead, that they should be judged,
And that You should reward Your servants the prophets and the saints,
And those who fear Your name, small and great,
And should destroy those who destroy the earth (Revelation 11:18).

19 And I saw the beast, the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him who sat on the horse and against His army (Revelation 19:19).

Some will think Jesus is an alien, others the Antichrist.

As far as an alien from outer space goes, consider what an angel told Jesus’ disciples when He ascended into heaven:

10 And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel, 11 who also said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven.” 12 Then they returned to Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is near Jerusalem, a Sabbath day’s journey. (Acts 1:10-12)

Jesus will return from the heavens:

27 Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28 Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near” (Luke 21:27-28).

So, many will think He is an alien.

Jesus will have others with Him:

14 Now Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about these men also, saying, “Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of His saints, 15 to execute judgment on all, to convict all who are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have committed in an ungodly way, and of all the harsh things which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him.” (Jude 14-15)

Some will consider that this is an alien invasion.

Also, based upon various Catholic writings (see Do Certain Catholic Prophecies About Antichrist Warn Against Jesus?) many will consider that the returning Son of God is a threat–and be the final Antichrist.

The religionists of this world will tend to unite and fight Jesus.

Hopefully, you will know enough about the truth about Jesus that you will be able to recognize Him and be caught up with Him, as opposed to being part of the masses that will be against Him.
