Snowden claims he accomplished his mission, but does he understand the prophetic ramifications?

Edward Snowden has now claimed he accomplished his goals related to leaking information on the USA and UK espionage and data collection programs:

Former National Security Agency contractor Edward Snowden says his mission is “already accomplished,” after revealing details of the NSA’s surveillance programs.
Snowden, who is living under temporary asylum in Moscow, told The Washington Post said he is satisfied with what he has accomplished in leaking the information because members of the public now have access to it and can use it as they choose.
Snowden’s disclosures, which first appeared in the Post and Guardian newspapers after he fled to Hong Kong, have revealed government secrets, such as the NSA’s secret collection of telephone records from millions of Americans. A U.S. judge ruled December 16 that the program is likely unconstitutional.
In his ruling, Judge Richard Leon said he “cannot imagine a more indiscriminate and arbitrary invasion” of peoples’ privacy than the government’s collection of such information without prior judicial approval. http://www.voanews.com/content/snowden-mission-accomplished/1816471.html
Snowden agreed to reflect at length on the roots and repercussions of his choice…
“For me, in terms of personal satisfaction, the mission’s already accomplished,” he said. “I already won. As soon as the journalists were able to work, everything that I had been trying to do was validated. Because, remember, I didn’t want to change society. I wanted to give society a chance to determine if it should change itself.”
“All I wanted was for the public to be able to have a say in how they are governed,” he said. “That is a milestone we left a long time ago. Right now, all we are looking at are stretch goals.”…
By his own terms, Snowden succeeded beyond plausible ambition. The NSA, accustomed to watching without being watched, faces scrutiny it has not endured since the 1970s, or perhaps ever.
The cascading effects have made themselves felt in Congress, the courts, popular culture, Silicon Valley and world capitals. If you read more of the interview in the Washington Post (http://www.washingtonpost.com/world/national-security/edward-snowden-after-months-of-nsa-revelations-says-his-missions-accomplished/2013/12/23/49fc36de-6c1c-11e3-a523-fe73f0ff6b8d_story.html), basically Edward Snowden says that he has been loyal to the US Constitution and that various government leaders were not, hence he felt that he needed to act.
Notice something else from the Washington Post article:
In the view of the NSA, signals intelligence, or electronic eavesdropping, was a matter of life and death, “without which America would cease to exist as we know it,” according to an internal presentation in the first week of October 2001 as the agency ramped up its response to the al-Qaeda attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon…
Using PRISM, the cover name for collection of user data from Google, Yahoo, Microsoft, Apple and five other U.S.-based companies, the NSA could obtain all communications to or from any specified target. The companies had no choice but to comply with the government’s request for data.
But the NSA could not use PRISM, which was overseen once a year by the surveillance court, for the collection of virtually all data handled by those companies. To widen its access, it teamed up with its British counterpart, Government Communications Headquarters, or GCHQ, to break into the private fiber-optic links that connected Google and Yahoo data centers around the world.
That operation, which used the cover name MUSCULAR, tapped into U.S. company data from outside U.S. territory. So, for over a dozen years, USA officials have believed that without the massive surveillance programs that have been being put in place that America would cease to exist as we know it. America as the land of the free, however, has ceased to exist. Furthermore, notice that what NSA, etc. wanted to do was to get around restrictions on what they could do, so they set something else up to do that which it knew it was prohibited to do.
I would suggest that the ramifications of the Snowden leaks are that it will be easier for America to cease to exist. Period. Much of the world has been outraged by the revelations about what the USA and UK have been doing. This will hurt the USA economically and militarily.
As I have mentioned before, it is clear that the continental Europeans are offended and will likely never truly forgive the USA and the UK for what they have done. In an effort to appease, the USA has essentially agreed to tell the Europeans how it spies and how it analyzes its data, this will give the European great insight and espionage capabilities that they otherwise would not have had.
Because I have not seen prophetic biblical references from any of the Snowden interviews that I recall reading, I do not believe at this time that Edward Snowden was tying to fulfill any biblical prophecies. But I do believe that his disclosures will make it easier for the Europeans to fulfill at least the following prophecies:
15 He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. 16 He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, 17 and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
18 Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666. (Revelation 13:15-18, NKJV)
23 ‘And in the latter end of their kingdom, about the perfecting of the transgressors, stand up doth a king, fierce of face, and understanding hidden things; (Daniel 8:23, Young’s Literal Translation)
It will likely take computers aided with artificial intelligence to aid in the fulfillment of the above scriptures, as well as cyber-spying/monitoring. Thus, even though I do not believe that there can possibly this type of computer takeover of the world coming this year, I do believe that cyber monitoring will be used by the European Beast, King of the North, 666 power.
If the USA provides the Europeans with all the information that apparently it has agreed to and if the USA ceases (or dramatically reduces) the amount of surveillance against the Europeans in general, and the Germans in particular, this will put the Europeans in a position where they clearly can take steps to takeover the USA and not be found out until it is too late.
This matter is that serious.
Notice also the following:
39 Thus he shall act against the strongest fortresses with a foreign god, which he shall acknowledge, and advance its glory; and he shall cause them to rule over many, and divide the land for gain. (Daniel 11:39)
4 So they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?” (Revelation 13:4)
The ‘he’ in Daniel 11:39 is the King of the North, European Beast power (you can also watch the video Can You Prove that the Beast to Come is European?). The world will marvel because it did not believe that this European power could possibly takeover a nation like the USA.
I should perhaps add here that Europe is ahead of the USA in certain new technologies (see European technology plans) and the USA has agreed to rely on Europe’s upcoming Galileo ‘GPS’ system for part of the USA’s military defense (see USA GPS and EU Galileo linking). Having the USA rely on Galileo for communications that the Europeans will be able to control also puts the Europeans in a unique position when they decided that they need to eliminate the USA.
By giving the Europeans access to USA espionage, espionage techniques, and espionage practices, combined with having part of what it will be doing exempted from USA espionage and data collection, the Europeans are gaining a unique military advantage. One, with the addition of technology, deceit, and the element of surprise will cause the elimination of the nation with the strongest fortresses.
Th Snowden matter will help lead to the destruction of the United States. The USA is taking steps that basically have guaranteed it. And this is consistent with end time biblical prophecy. But it does not seem that Edward Snowden considered that to be part of his mission.
