Swiss and Dutch researchers claim to have discovered ‘dark matter’ in the universe

European scientists from Switzerland and the Netherlands have claimed to have located ‘dark matter’ in the universe:

For the first time in decades, scientists believe they finally have hard evidence related to dark matter‘s existence. A team of Swiss and Dutch researchers has recently found some signals in the X-ray spectrum that didn’t match any of known particles from a cluster of remote galaxies. It seems that the mysterious signals may come from an elusive matter, undetectable by optical instruments – the dark matter.

Scientists at Swiss Laboratory of Particle Physics and Cosmology (LPPC) and Dutch Leiden University have analyzed the types of signals the matter in the Andromeda galaxy and in several galaxies located in the constellation Perseus were sending. Scientists say that all atoms have a spectrum, a pattern of light, that allows astronomers to estimate the type of matter stars and planets are made of without getting close to them.

Nevertheless, when analyzing galaxies from Perseus and Andromeda researchers noticed some spikes on the spectrum although they weren’t supposed to be there. Scientists suggest that these spikes may be traces from an invisible matter that fills 80 percent of the Universe – the dark matter. This matter normally cannot be traced, but it seems that when it decays it releases particles of light, photons, that got recorded by the LPPC’s instruments.

“We think what we have discovered is the decay of a particle of Dark Matter. It could usher in a new era in astronomy,”

European scientists believe this may lead to a new era of astronomy. An era that it is scientists from Europe that will lead it. I have sometimes reported about dark matter in conjunction with Europe’s Large Hadron Collider (LHC) particle accelerator.

Dark matter is so named because it neither absorbs nor emits light and therefore cannot be directly observed. But astronomers know dark matter exists because it interacts gravitationally with the “normal” matter we can see and touch.

Here is information on dark matter from CERN, the group responsible for the Large Hadron Collider project:

Dark matter

Unlike normal matter, dark matter does not interact with the electromagnetic force. This means it does not absorb, reflect or emit light, making it extremely hard to spot. In fact, researchers have been able to infer the existence of dark matter only from the gravitational effect it seems to have on visible matter. Dark matter seems to outweigh visible matter roughly six to one, making up about 26% of all the matter in the universe. Here’s a sobering fact: The matter we know and that makes up all stars and galaxies only accounts for 4% of the content of the universe! But what is dark matter? One idea is that it could contain “supersymmetric particles” – hypothesized particles that are partners to those already known in the Standard Model. Experiments at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) may provide more direct clues about dark matter.

Many theories say the dark matter particles would be light enough to be produced at the LHC. If they were created at the LHC, they would escape through the detectors unnoticed. However, they would carry away energy and momentum, so physicists could infer their existence from the amount of energy and momentum “missing” after a collision. http://home.web.cern.ch/about/physics/dark-matter

Perhaps dark matter will be used for stealth jets and/or missiles and/or hiding military facilities. I do not believe that all possible uses of it will be peaceful.

The work being done in at the LHC facility is mainly for Europe (CERN is the European Organization for Nuclear Research) and has destructive potential. While the USA has a collider at Brookhaven, it is not being upgraded, etc. to the degree that Europe’s LHC is, nor is it likely to match Germany’s upcoming F.A.I.R. which is another advanced supercollider (see Germany’s F.A.I.R. progressing: How might it affect civilization?).

Since the Beast of Revelation 13 will be European (Europa, the Beast, and Revelation and the YouTube video Can You Prove that the Beast to Come is European?), I have long felt that the Large Hadron Collider project had major military potential and warned of that back in 2009 (see Thiel B. 2012 and the Rise of the Secret Sect. Nazarene Books, 2009, p. 85).

Notice some of what I wrote in one of my books related to Barack Obama, the USA military, European military, the Beast, and technology:

Instead of completely strengthening the U.S. Global Positioning System (GPS), Barack Obama’s Administration instead decided to rely on Europe’s upcoming Galileo “GPS” for part of the U.S.A.’s military defense (U.S. and the EU to collaborate on the usage of Global Navigation Satellite Systems. Wire Update, BNO News, July 31, 2010). This would appear to give the rising European power a unique offensive and defensive capability against the U.S.A. (cf. Daniel 11:39; Revelation 13:3-4). It is dangerous to have a potential enemy control portions of one’s military communications systems.

Instead of increasing the U.S.A.’s role in particle collider technology, similar to some previous administrations, Barack Obama’s Administration has greatly weakened that. So much so, there is only one remaining U.S. particle accelerator and it is at risk of being gutted or shut down (Matson J. Nuclear Decelerator: Last U.S. Particle Collider is on Chopping Block. Scientific American, August 24, 2012). This is an area where Europe has clearly gained the lead over the U.S.A. since Barack Obama became president…

The Bible shows that the Beast will have special help from “unclean spirits” (Revelation 16:13) and will be considered to be unconquerable (Revelation 13:4).

Notice what the Bible says about this:

3…And all the world marveled and followed the beast. 4 So they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?” (Revelation 13:3-4, NKJV)

Notice that the military power of the Beast was something that the world will marvel, be astonished about. Why? Because no one really thought that the European Beast power had the military ability to defeat the U.S.A. with its Anglo-allies (Daniel 11:39), and then the Islamic King of the South (Daniel 11:40-43). Revelation 13:3-4 also supports the idea that the Beast may rise up because of violent civil unrest in Europe.

Technology may be key to a powerful European military. One aspect could include particle collider research. The number of colliders in the U.S.A. has dwindled down to one under the Obama and Bush Administrations, and the remaining one is facing budget cuts and possible closure. Yet, in Europe, it now has the leading one in the world, CERN’s Large Hadron Collider (LHC) and in 2012, Germany announced that it is planning a possibly even more advanced one called FAIR (FAIR stands for the Facility for Antiproton and Ion Research).

I believe that Germany’s FAIR, along with the LHC and other technology, will help the Europeans produce military weaponry to fulfill certain end time prophecies. Since Revelation 13:4 is discussing what seems to be a unique type of warfare, this warfare likely includes certain high-tech weapons (electromagnetic pulse, neutron, unique delivery systems, etc.) that will be effective for a while (ultimately the Europeans will be overcome by what appears to be a Russian-led, mainly Asian, confederation, cf. Jeremiah 50:41-43 & Daniel 11:44, possibly by exploiting some technological flaw, like creating a software virus, etc., while also amassing troops, etc.). The FAIR and the LHC projects are also likely to spin-off economic benefits that may help propel Europe to be (for a short while) the economic leader of the world (cf. Revelation 18).

While the U.S.A., Australia, and others are currently worried mostly about China, the European developments will not be good for the Anglo-descended lands, including England. (Thiel B. Large physics projects tend to produce military weaponry. The Bible also teaches:

36 Then the king shall do according to his own will: … 38 … he shall honor a god of fortresses (Daniel 11:36,38)

Might scientific technology utilized for military purposes be honoring ‘a god of fortresses’? Even if not, the reality is that Europe is starting to take the lead in certain areas of technology that may have military applications. And while Europe may or may not be able to directly use ‘dark matter’ or particles related to it, the more it gains technological prowess, the sooner it will fulfill various prophecies related to its coming future military conquests (Daniel 11:39-43; Revelation 13:4).

The power in Europe is starting to rise up. In addition to collider technologies, I believe that Europe’s Galileo or similar technology (Galileo is an upcoming competitor to GPS that the USA has said it will partially rely on for its own military needs; see also Europe’s Galileo ‘GPS’ Hits Another Milestone and USA GPS and EU Galileo linking was expected) will help the Europeans when that happens as well as to help prevent counter-strikes by the USA.

Europe is moving forward with its space and military plans and few in the USA seem to realize that when it gets enough power, the USA will lose all of its. Dark matter research is only a small part of what is going on.
