Switzerland’s right-wing People’s Party (SVP), known by its German acronym, has secured one of its most significant electoral wins in recent years – garnering 28.6% of the votes in the national elections, marking a notable increase from their 25.6% performance four years ago. This triumph exceeded expectations set by opinion polls and came close to their record-high of 29.4% achieved in 2015.

The SVP has been Switzerland’s most popular political party for approximately two decades, predominantly focusing on domestic concerns – particularly immigration and the economy. …

SVP also promotes the preservation of Switzerland’s traditional policy of neutrality – even in the face of calls for a more robust response to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Additionally, they aim to cap the costs associated with transitioning to sustainable energy sources.

Not just Switzerland

The rise of conserve nationalism across Europe is notable, as similar movements have gained ground across the region. In Germany, the Alternative for Germany (AfD) party has experienced increased support in regional elections, while Italy‘s Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni continues to enjoy popularity in the polls after a year in office. Well, the situation in Europe will change. Islam will not accomplish what some hope it will.

Although the Bible warns against the coming King of the North, European Babylonian Beast power, there are several Greco-Roman Catholic private prophecies that tell of a time of civil unrest in Europe–with some references to Islam–but instead of turning to God, the Europeans turn to a leader that sounds like the one the Bible warns against, who will arise.

John of the Cleft Rock (1340): The White Eagle (Great Monarch), by order of the Archangel Michael, will drive crescent from Europe where none but Christians will remain–he himself will rule from Constantinople. An era of peace and prosperity will begin for the world. There will no longer be Protestants {there were no “Protestants” then and author Connor of that book suggests that perhaps this word should have been translated as heretics} or schismatics…God will raise up a holy Pope (Connor, pp. 33-34)

The reference to “the crescent” is pointing to eliminating Islam from Europe.

The Bible shows that the European beast leader, also called the King of the North, will arise promising peace.

21 And in his place shall arise a vile person, to whom they will not give the honor of royalty; but he shall come in peaceably, and seize the kingdom by intrigue. 22 With the force of a flood they shall be swept away from before him and be broken, and also the prince of the covenant. 23 And after the league is made with him he shall act deceitfully, for he shall come up and become strong with a small number of people. But he will, as alluded to in Daniel 8:25 and as stated in Revelation 13:3-4, be a man of war.

He will push out Islam (cf. Daniel 11:40-43) and lead a powerful European military (cf. Revelation 13:3-4; Daniel 11:39-43)! This will reduce migrants in Europe.
