Can you feel it? The past several years have been a time of wars and rumors of wars, pestilences, major natural disasters, a global inflation crisis, and a rapidly growing global food crisis. So much bad stuff has already happened, but I have been hearing from so many people that have a feeling that things are about to get a whole lot worse. It is almost as if we are about to reach a major historic turning point and things are about to go to an entirely new level. Unfortunately, it appears that events have already started to really amp up within the past several days. So much is happening all over the globe, and I am going to touch on a number of the most important items in this piece. …
Is China preparing for something? A Chinese satellite apparently just shot a “wall of mysterious green lasers” near Hawaii. …
The U.S. military just test launched a Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missile. We are being told that this launch was intended as a “message to Russia”.

The last few days have seen some ridiculous headlines around the Internet about chunks of the Sun breaking off, a terrifying vortex and “Uh, the Sun Kinda Broke”—as well as claims that it was all caught by the James Webb Space Telescope. The multiple stories also claim that astronomers are stunned.
Thankfully, none of it is true—no part of the Sun has become detached, JWST is never ever pointed at the Sun and, consequently, astronomers are not baffled.
But something very cool did happen on the Sun. …
What happened on Feb. 2 was that a prominence became detached (or “broke away” as Skov unfortunately described it) then whirled around above the Sun’s north pole.

If things are so wonderful, then why do so many people feel a deep sense of unease about what is ahead? …

Could it be possible that “the beginning of sorrows” is nearly upon us?
Without a doubt, we are living in a time when there are lots of rumors of wars. …Everyone knows that a major war is going to erupt in the Middle East at some point.
It is just a matter of time.
Switching gears, we continue to see large earthquakes shake our planet at a very alarming rate, and more volcanoes that were once very quiet continue to roar to life. …
Needless to say, “pestilence” has been a major theme over the past year as well. … But if we really are moving into “the beginning of sorrows”, we should expect even more “pestilences” to strike the globe, and they will be even worse than what we have experienced so far. …
On top of everything else, the global persecution of Christians continues to rise.
The U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom just released a report that documented many of the specifics of this rising trend, and one expert that worked on the report stated that “Christians are being persecuted around the world at a pace not seen since the first century”.
Is it just a coincidence that all of these things are happening at the same time?
At this point, even some of the top faith leaders in the entire nation are acknowledging that we have entered a very ominous time. …

The beginning of sorrows corresponds to the ride of the four horsemen of the Apocalypse.
And, it appears that three of them may have begun their ride already.
Without massive national repentance, the USA and its British-descended allies are headed for destruction–likely before the end of this decade (watch Is the USA prophesied to be destroyed by 2028?).
That being said, Michael Snyder is right that people should prepare themselves for something worse to begin as their will be more sorrows and troubles.
Jesus said:
34 “But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly. 35 For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth. 36 Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.” (Luke 21:34-36)
Heed Jesus’ words. To be accounted worthy, for basically everyone, means to change. Your focus also needs to be to care for others as a Philadelphian (see The Philadelphia Church Era and There is a Place of Safety for the Philadelphians. Why it May Be Near Petra).
This, however, is a good time to remind people to NOT heed false prophets (see also How To Determine If Someone is a True Prophet of God). In the past, Protestant minister Dana Coverstone made false predictions and told people to brace themselves. I denounced his false predictions then (see ‘THREE Prophetic WARNING DREAMS!!! “BRACE YOURSELVES” [Pastor Dana Coverstone]’) and time has proven me to be right.
Scripturally, we know a worse pandemic than COVID is coming:
7 When He opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature saying, “Come and see.” 8 So I looked, and behold, a pale horse. And the name of him who sat on it was Death, and Hades followed with him. And power was given to them over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword, with hunger, with death, and by the beasts of the earth. (Revelation 6:7-8).
The “official” death count for COVID-19 is 6.781 million people (https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/ accessed 02/11/23) and the total population is estimated to be 8.016 billion (https://www.worldometers.info/world-population/ accessed 02/11/23), then this is less than 0.085% of the total population. Since 1/4 of humankind dies with the ride of the fourth horseman (which suggests pestilences will cause probably around a billion or more people to die from them), and COVID-19 is only 0.1%, COVID-19 is not the prophesied deadly pestilence and something worse is coming.

Why might Europe be less affected by the ride of the third horseman that the US, Canada, and the UK? Are governments taking steps now, consistent with the words of Adolf Hitler? What seal represents the start of the Great Tribulation? Which Christians did Jesus promise to protect from the coming “hour of trial”?

As far as sorrows go, notice what Mark recorded:
5 And Jesus, answering them, began to say: “Take heed that no one deceives you. 6 For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am He,’ and will deceive many. 7 But when you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be troubled; for such things must happen, but the end is not yet. 8 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be earthquakes in various places, and there will be famines and troubles. These are the beginnings of sorrows. (Mark 13:5-8)
Yes, more troubles are coming. And the deadly earthquakes that look to have killed over 25,000 in Turkey and Syria this week are consistent with that.
