Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump says Democrat Hillary Clinton’s Syria policies would lead to another world war.

“What we should do is focus on ISIS. We should not be focusing on Syria,” Trump said in an interview with Reuters. “You’re going to end up in World War Three over Syria if we listen to Hillary Clinton.”

The Syrian conflict is a complex web of competing local and international influence that began in 2011 as peaceful protests against President Bashar al-Assad, but for the past two years has also included a fight against Islamic State militants. Russia and Iran back Assad against the rebels, while opposition fighters have support from countries such as the United States, Turkey and Saudi Arabia.

Assad’s role

Clinton has proposed in many ways continuing U.S. efforts to go after Islamic State fighters and wants Assad to leave power. But she also supports establishing a no-fly zone in order to protect civilians, something President Barack Obama has resisted and which would potentially set up conflict with Syrian and Russian forces.

The policies of the Obama Administration, specifically those at least partially backed by Hillary Clinton while she was Secretary of State, as well as public policy statements she has said since, will not lead to real peace in the Middle East. And yes, if she is elected as the next President of the United States, she will take steps to get the USA closer to WWIII–a world war that the USA will not win?

Now what about Donald Trump?

I spent much of this month in Europe, and only yesterday got back to California (I went from the Netherlands to Illinois for the last several days of the Feast of Tabernacles).

Why bring that up?

Well, the Serbians believe that Hillary Clinton will be a disaster and are almost incredulous that she may become the next President of the United States. They believe her foreign policy positions are wrong, dangerous, and reckless.

What about other Europeans?

Well, most of the Dutch, as well as one Swiss citizen I spoke with, find it incredulous that Donald Trump may become the next President of the United States. They believe he is dangerous and reckless.

As far as Donald Trump goes, should he become the next President of the United States, expect trade issues. Also expect the Europeans to better arm themselves.

While this is something that both Donald Trump AND Hillary Clinton have advocated, this will NOT turn out well for the USA. The prophesied invasion of the USA, UK, etc. by the coming European Beast power could well be called World War III.

Many believe that WWIII will entail massive conflict with Russia and/or China and/or Iran and/or is mainly an Islamic war. Those views are in error. WWIII basically will be the risen European power and its allies (Germany and its allies began WWI and WWII) attacking and beating the USA, UK, and their Anglo-Saxon allies (cf. Daniel 11:39; Isaiah 10:5-11; see also Germany in Biblical and Catholic Prophecy).

Terrorism will be part of that and will likely involve an alliance with Europe of many nations in the Middle East and North Africa that are currently Islamic (see Psalm 83; see also Is the Future King of the South Rising Up? and Germany in Biblical and Catholic Prophecy and Germany’s Assyrian Roots Throughout History). But then Europe will eliminate them as a threat (Daniel 11:40-43) after the USA is eliminated (Daniel 11:39).

What perhaps could be called World War Four (WWIV) would be an attack against the European Beast power by Russia, China, and their confederated allies. This will also tie in with the gathering of the armies at Armageddon (Revelation 16:12-16). For more details, see also Russia and Ukraine: Their Origins and Prophesied Future and Asia in Prophecy. The fact is that the 6000 years God gave humankind to rule itself is about to come to an end (see Does God Have a 6,000 Year Plan? What Year Does the 6,000 Years End?), which means we are nearer to the start of the Great Tribulation, WWIII, and even WWIV.

Because of the proximity to the end of 6000 years for humanity to rule itself mainly cut off from God, we are to expect wars, rumors of wars, and various sorrows (Matthew 24:4-8). And then the end of the nations of USA and its Anglo-Saxon allies once the time of Jacob’s trouble (Jeremiah 30:7), the great tribulation (Matthew 24:21) begins.

The Bible tells of the rise of the final European (Daniel 9:26-27) Beast power. This power will be unexpected by most.

4 So they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?” (Revelation 13:4)

Notice that the Bible also teaches that the land of the strongest fortresses will be destroyed:

39 Thus he shall act against the strongest fortresses with a foreign god, which he shall acknowledge, and advance its glory; and he shall cause them to rule over many, and divide the land for gain. (Daniel 11:39)

The ‘he’ mentioned above is the European King of the North as verse 40 immediately afterwards so identifies him. Is not that land the of USA, and to a lessor degree its Anglo-Saxon allies, in the 21st century that which has the “strongest fortesses”? See also USA in Prophecy: The Strongest Fortresses.

The biggest threat to the USA is not Syria, it is its moral decline. And militarily, the power that will lead the takeover of the USA, in what could be called WWIII, will be the European Beast of Revelation 13 and Daniel 11.

Unless there is national repentance in the USA, it will be done for relatively soon.
