Washington is deploying its military forces throughout Asia for a potential confrontation with China, Defense Secretary Mark Esper said on Tuesday. The message was communicated in an effort to outline the military aspect of Trump’s hardening stance against Beijing …

Esper added that Washington would continue sending Navy ships into the region to challenge China’s expansionary policies. It should be noted that the U.S. has now officially rejected China’s claims of sovereignty in most of the South China Sea.

Esper added that the US would continue selling arms to Taiwan so that it can defend itself against an increasingly belligerent China.

The United States has ordered the Chinese consulate in the southwestern U.S. city of Houston, Texas to shut down.

A statement issued early Wednesday morning by State Department spokeswoman Morgan Ortagus said the order to close the consulate was issued “in order to protect American intellectual property and American’s private information.”

Referencing the abbreviation of China’s official name, the People’s Republic of China, Ortagus said the United States “will not tolerate the PRC’s violations of our sovereignty and intimidation of our people, just as we have not tolerated the PRC’s unfair trade practices, theft of American jobs, and other egregious behavior.”

China has until Friday to shut down the consulate.

Speaking to reporters in Beijing, Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin told reporters the order to close the Houston consulate “is an unprecedented escalation of its recent actions against China.” He accused the United States of harassing Chinese diplomatic and consular staff, as well as “intimidating and interrogating Chinese students and confiscating their personal electrical devices” and even going so far as to detain them.

Wang warned that if the Trump administration did not have a change of heart, China would retaliate.

Hours after the order was issued, local Houston television station KPRC broadcast footage of smoke billowing from a courtyard inside the consulate, with fire trucks stationed on the street outside. The situation between the US and China is getting tenser.

The old Radio Church of God published the following over 60 years ago:

Some think this union of China and Russia and their allies will ultimately attack the United States. Is this idea right? (Hoeh H. Red China Plans … Plain Truth, December, 1959, p. 22)

So is WWIII about to start between the US and China?

No.

What could be called World War III will be an attack by the coming European Beast power against the US and its allies of the ‘Five Eyes’ alliance. That alliance consists of the US, Canada, UK, Australia, and New Zealand. The first three are likely to be directly defeated by the Beast, whereas the latter two by China, with possible Russian involvement. Also, it is my view that Russia will play an ancillary role in the defeat of at least the US, and probably also Canada, and perhaps others of the Five Eyes.

So, what will happen with China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan?

The Bible tells of a time when there will be a confederation of the ‘kings of the east’ that will get together:

12 Then the sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up, so that the way of the kings from the east might be prepared. 13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs coming out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. 14 For they are spirits of demons, performing signs, which go out to the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.

15 “Behold, I am coming as a thief. Blessed is he who watches, and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked and they see his shame.”

16 And they gathered them together to the place called in Hebrew, Armageddon. (Revelation 16:12-16)

This will include Russia, China (including Hong Kong), Taiwan, Korea, Japan, apparently India, and possibly even the Philippines. Things will one day dramatically change militarily, in Asia, in terms of cooperation.

What Prophecy Reveals

From time to time news commentators – in describing the coming catastrophic military struggle for world control – use the Biblical expression Armageddon found in Revelation 16:16. But what they do not mention is a striking prophecy about “Armageddon” found in Revelation 16:12. In this verse we read that “the way of the KINGS of THE EAST” is to be prepared! China is the very center of all the great Eastern kingdoms. Almost 2000 years ago Biblical prophecy declared China is destined to play a vital part in world affairs at the end of this age!

Notice another prophecy about the ultimate westward advance of the Communist Chinese, in conjunction with the Russians, through the Arab world. It is found in Ezekiel 21:2-4.

God says,”Behold, therefore, I will deliver thee [the kingdom of Jordan, just east of Palestine] TO THE MEN OF THE EAST for a possession, and they shall set their palaces in thee, and make their dwellings in thee.” Who are these “men of the east”? The … hordes of Eurasia!

Now notice another prophecy in Daniel 11:44: “But tidings out of the east and out of the north [where China and Russia are today] shall trouble him [the coming Dictator of a European Fascist system which will control Palestine at the return of Jesus Christ].”

So prophecy shows that both Russia and China are ultimately to be involved in a struggle for the control of the Eastern Mediterranean, the Arab world and Palestine. (Hoeh H. Red China Plans … Plain Truth, December, 1959, pp. 6, 18)

The battle involving China, Russia, and other Eurasian allies against the final Beast power will come over three years after the destruction of the US (Daniel 11:39) and its British-descended allies (cf. Daniel 8:24-25, Isaiah 17:3). The destruction of the Beast power could be called WWIV (or WWV if the elimination of the confederation in the Middle East and North Africa of Daniel 11:40-43, would be called WWIV).

The current world order dominated by the USA, and formerly by the British Empire is being changed. The Bible shows that the time of Jacob’s trouble (Jeremiah 30:7) is getting nearer–and that will greatly affect the USA, the UK, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand which have descendants from Jacob, also known as Israel.

China is trying to rise up and spread its influence. It is infuriated by what it considers interference from the USA.

While China is not about to start WWIII, it will take steps that the USA, and ultimately places like Australia and New Zealand will regret.
