We are watching the world order being ripped up over fears of a return to a world order that our current post-war world order was designed to forestall. …

We are watching, aware of what’s happening, but without seeing a way to hold it back.
That’s what makes Merkel’s slow political demise all the more troubling.

Yes, the world is changing. Yes, there is change in South America and Europe.
The Bible indicates that South America will one day align with Europe (for some details, check out the article Mexico, Central America, South America, Brazil, and the Caribbean in Prophecy).
As far as Europe goes, the Bible teaches various reorganizations. The European Union will not exist as it has. Here is a prophecy related to two prophesied reorganizations.
12 “The ten horns which you saw are ten kings who have received no kingdom as yet, but they receive authority for one hour as kings with the beast. 13 These are of one mind, and they will give their power and authority to the beast. (Revelation 17:12-13)
These ten kings have no kingdom, but are to attain one. Thus, this is a type of reorganization in verse 12. Since they give their power to the Beast in verse 13, this is a second reorganization. Well, since Europe will reorganize, it might be helpful to see how it is current;y organized. Here is a little bit about organizations that most European nations currently have connections to:
Europe has members in at least four major treaty groups, each of which governs a different aspect of the region’s infrastructure.
Let’s break down each group:
European Union (EU)
The European Union is primarily a political organization. It promotes economic, social, and political cooperation among its member states, encompassing more than 510 million citizens. The last nation to join was Croatia in 2013, while the United Kingdom will be the first to officially withdraw on March 29, 2019. …
North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO)
NATO is a military alliance between the United States, Canada, Turkey, and 26 other European countries.
Established in 1949 as a response to post-WW2 Soviet aggression, NATO exists for the collective defense and security of the group. …
Eurozone
The Eurozone is a monetary union of 19 EU nations which have adopted the Euro as their common currency. …
The Euro is also used in a number of non-EU states. Andorra, Monaco, San Marino, and Vatican City obtained formal agreements to issue and use their own Euro coins. Kosovo and Montenegro also adopted the Euro, but without formal permission, meaning they cannot legally issue currency.
Schengen
This grouping of 26 European states abolished passports and other types of border control at their mutual borders in 1995. For travel purposes, Schengen states function as a single country with a common visa policy. …
Monaco, San Marino, and Vatican City are not formally part of Schengen, but maintain open borders within the Schengen area.
The map of Europe’s member states has changed constantly over thousands of years. As far as the map of Europe changing, yes, it has quite a bit. Let’s notice one map from nearly eight centuries ago:
Holy Roman Empire 1250 ()
What many leaders in Europe want is some type of revival of the old Holy Roman Empire.
But, I believe it will be larger and encompass more territories than the 1250 version.
For many reasons, including the fact that the coming European Beast power will control buying and selling (Revelation 13:16-18), more of Europe will use the same currency.
Thus far, we have covered two of the four ‘organizations.’
As far as Schengen goes, there will likely be some version of it in the future.
Now the fourth organization to discuss is NATO.
Europe’s plan seems to be to be in NATO while also developing its own separate military, currently called PESCO.
While PESCO is seldom a subject of the mainstream media in the USA, it is a development in Europe that will affect the USA.

WASHINGTON — European nations are not moving as fast as needed to resolve long-standing logistical issues that could tie up efforts to meet invading Russian forces, according to a top NATO general.
“From a military perspective, of course I would say it is not moving fast enough,” Lt. Gen. Jan Broeks, director general of the alliance’s International Military Staff, said …
Broeks, who is from the Netherlands, traveled to Washington this week accompanied by Lt. Gen. Esa Pulkkinen, the Finnish officer who serves as director general of the European Union’s military staff. The two were hosted by the Center for a New American Security think tank. …
“When I think about rapid air mobility, it’s a very critical element,” he explained. “At the moment, it is a procedural element. If we were deploying forces either through airlifts or through support through airlift, or elements of this [such as] rotary-wing and fixed-wing supporting missions, if they would not have to go through procedures for clearance, then we’re there in rapid air mobility.
“We in Europe control this,” he added. “We need to go with nations because nations own the airspace.” …
the visit to Washington represents the first time two officers in those jobs have traveled together to America, and the trip is part of an effort to assuage concerns within the U.S. government that NATO and the EU are not coordinating defense priorities.
Much of that concern stems from the EU’s announcement in late 2017 of the Permanent Structured Cooperation on security and defense, or PESCO, a fund for EU defense projects. American officials quickly sounded the alarm that PESCO could take funds away from NATO priorities.
Both Broeks and Pulkkinen have downplayed those concerns, with the two pointing to military mobility as one example where PESCO can help support NATO nations with extra funding while providing benefits for non-NATO nations. While European generals want to downplay it, the reality is that Europe is starting to increase military funding and PESCO is currently intended as a European replacement of NATO.
Rapid military mobility reminds me of the term blitzkrieg.
For those unfamiliar with the term blitzkrieg, it was a German war strategy utilized in World War II. Here is some information about it:
Blitzkrieg means “lightning war”. It was an innovative military technique first used by the Germans in World War Two and was a tactic based on speed and surprise. Blitzkrieg relied on a military force be based around light tank units supported by planes and infantry (foot soldiers). The tactic was based on Alfred von Schlieffen’s ‘Schlieffen Plan’ – this was a doctrine formed during WWI that focused on quick military victory. It was later developed in Germany by an army officer called Heinz Guderian who looked at new technologies, namely dive bombers and light tanks, to improve the German army’s manoeuvrability. …
Blitzkrieg was based on speed, co-ordination and movement; the major science of this approach was the ability to get large mobile forces through weak points in the enemies defences and then cause damage when behind his static lines. …
The Blitzkrieg was fundamentally about moving away from the tried and tested methods of modern warfare and creating a new, more effective doctrine. To that end, Hitler had given his full backing to Guderian. Ironically, he had got his idea for Blitzkrieg from two officers – one from France and one from Britain and he had copied and broadened what they had put on paper. …In 1940, Britain and France still had a World War One mentality. http://www.historylearningsite.co.uk/blitzkrieg.htm
It is interesting to me that Germany got the blitzkrieg ideas from France and the UK. In other words, Germany got tactics and information from nations it was later going to invade. I expect the same in the future. It should be noted that the USA still has the ‘cold war’ mentality about the Germans and the rest of Europe and acts like they will always be USA allies. I read something a while back in the Wall Street Journal where the writer could not fathom that Germans could consider that the USA is a threat. Many do not understand the mentality of the Germans and where all of this will lead (cf. Isaiah 10:5-11).
As far as blitzkrieg goes, it remains my view that some version of NATO will exist until the Europeans launch a surprise attack on the USA consistent with the following prophecies:
3 For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape. (1 Thessalonians 5:3)
39 Thus he shall act against the strongest fortresses with a foreign god, which he shall acknowledge, and advance its glory; and he shall cause them to rule over many, and divide the land for gain. (Daniel 11:39)
The ‘he’ above is the prophesied European King of the North. The power in the 21st century with the strongest fortresses is the USA (see also USA in Prophecy: The Strongest Fortresses).

German-European Armament
Whereas the increase in Berlin’s military budget appears primarily to be in response to the pressure from the United States, it is, in fact, the result of Germany’s own wide-ranging arms buildup plans. For example, an increase in personnel, diverse expensive arms projects – ranging from the procurement of new assault rifles to the purchase of battleships – is imminent for the Bundeswehr.[6] Together with France, Germany has begun to develop new battle tanks and jet fighters including with their affiliated killer drones and drone swarms. (german-foreign-policy.com reported.[7]) At the same time, Berlin has initiated measures within the framework of the EU’s new PESCO military cooperation, while participating also in the Paris-initiated European Intervention Initiative (EII).[8] The primary objective is to build up a powerful European military, even though the German government is no longer oriented exclusively on the EU. So, according to the above, the Germans were already planning to increase their defense spending, but will act as if they are doing this at the behest of the USA.
That way, Germany gives the appearance that it is not intending to be militaristic.
In WWIII, I expect that a German-dominated Europe will lead a type of blitzkrieg against the USA, the UK, and other Anglo-Saxon descended nations. I believe it will be under the guise of a NATO exercise or some other feigned form of cooperation. It will be based upon technology, coordination, intelligence, and deception. I believe that because of the espionage incidents with the USA and funding pressures from it, that the USA will feel that it will have to kowtow to European requests for military technologies, trade agreements, political arrangements, and espionage information, which will put Europe in a position to rise up and become the successful military power that the Bible prophesies it will become in Revelation 13:1-4 and Daniel 11:39-43.
Nic Robertson is right that change is coming to Europe.
However, he admitted that he did not know what would happen, but those who are willing to believe properly explained biblical prophecies can.
Notice statements from the Apostle Paul and Jesus:

We are not of the night nor of darkness. 6 Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober. (1 Thessalonians 5:4-6)34 “But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly. 35 For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth. 36 Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.” (Luke 21:34-36)
Those who are willing to believe the Bible and will properly watch can know what will happen in the world in general and Europe in particular.
