The heavily mutated Omicron coronavirus variant is likely to spread internationally and poses a very high risk of infection surges that could have “severe consequences” in some places, the World Health Organization (WHO) said on Monday.
No Omicron-linked deaths had yet been reported, …
“Omicron has an unprecedented number of spike mutations, some of which are concerning for their potential impact on the trajectory of the pandemic,” the WHO said.
“The overall global risk …is assessed as very high.”
Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, WHO director-general, said Omicron’s emergence showed how “perilous and precarious” the situation was.
“Omicron demonstrates just why the world needs a new accord on pandemics,” he told the start of an assembly of health ministers expected to launch negotiations on such an agreement.
“Our current system disincentivizes countries from alerting others to threats that will inevitably land on their shores.”

The World Health Organization on Monday is pushing for an international accord to help prevent and fight future pandemics amid the emergence of a worrying new omicron COVID-19 variant.
WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus also said many uncertainties remain about just how transmissible and severe infection by the highly mutated omicron might be.
Tedros joined leaders like outgoing German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Chilean President Sebastian Pinera for a long-planned and largely virtual special session of the U.N. health agency’s member states at the World Health Assembly.

Global controls tend to be of a totalitarian nature.
At first, there was only supposed to be a two-week lockdown back in March 2020 in the USA, yet even today there many restrictions still in place.
As far as supposedly following the science goes, notice the following:
National Chair of the South African Medical Association, Dr. Angelique Coetzee, who made an early discovery of the Omicron variant amongst patients, says “the hype” that’s been created surrounding the variant is unwarranted.
According to Reuters, “the variant was detected and announced by South Africa’s National Institute of Communicable Diseases (NICD) on Nov. 25 from samples taken from a laboratory from Nov. 14 to Nov. 16.”
Coetzee told Reuters that in one of the “biggest hospitals” in her “area” and country of South Africa, there is only one patient who is COVID-positive on ventilation, and there has been no confirmation, as of Sunday, that Omicron is the cause.
“The hype,” Coetzee says, “that’s been created currently out there in the media and worldwide doesn’t correlate with the clinical picture. The “hype” is pushing towards more global and totalitarian controls. This does not mean that there is no risk with ‘omicron,’ but the reality is that much associated with COVID is based on hype and not science.
As far as totalitarian controls go, yesterday, the Swiss voted for keeping some related to COVID in place:

So, what will happen in a few years?
Well, the Bible shows that the coming European King of the North beast will gain power after a time of death and pestilence.
While COVID-19, itself, is not that, it is setting the stage for people to turn to such a leader.

As far as totalitarianism is concerned, parts of Europe have more surveillance and more enforcement of COVID restrictions than many other parts of the world.
Totalitarian directives related to COVID are showing politicians that they can, given fear tactics and police support, put in a lot of totalitarian measures.
Having groups like the World Health Organization call for global approaches gives some cover for moving towards the totalitarian globalism many have been pushing for.
The Bible shows that ultimately, the totalitarian situation in Europe will worsen. Europe will reorganize and turn over dictatorial control to a leader called the Beast in Revelation 17:12-13.
Notice what the Bible shows that Beast leader’s tyranny will do:
5 And he was given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies, and he was given authority to continue for forty-two months. 6 Then he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme His name, His tabernacle, and those who dwell in heaven. 7 It was granted to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them. Biological Warfare and Prophecy. Is biological warfare possible? Was it prophesied? Scientists have long warned that pathogenic organisms like the coronavirus could be weaponized.
