WHO Reports Jump in New COVID Cases and Warns Against Politicizing the Cornonavirus

The World Health Organization (WHO) made statements on COVID-19:
WHO Reports Largest One-Day Jump in New COVID Cases

The World Health Organization Sunday reported a global jump of 183,000 new confirmed COVID-19 cases, the largest single-day increase it has recorded since the pandemic began.
WHO officials have said for several weeks the focus of the outbreak is in the Americas, and Sunday’s numbers showed a one-day rise of more than 116,000 cases in that region.
Brazil led with nearly 55,000 new cases, followed by the United States with more than 36,000 and India with about 15,000 new cases.
WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said Monday the greatest threat now is not the virus itself, but rather “the lack of global solidarity and leadership.”
“We cannot defeat this pandemic with a divided world,” he said. …
New Zealand has reported nine new cases, including two more Monday, all of whom are currently in isolation facilities.
South Korea, which has been dealing with its own increase, mainly in the Seoul area in recent weeks, reported 17 new cases Monday, the smallest such rise in nearly a month.

WHO chief warns world leaders not to ‘politicize’ pandemic

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates (AP) — World leaders must not politicize the coronavirus pandemic but unite to fight it, the head of the World Health Organization warned Monday, reminding all that the pandemic is still accelerating and producing record daily increases in infections.
The comments by Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, who has faced criticism from U.S. President Donald Trump, came as the number of reported infections soared in Brazil, Iraq, India and southern and western U.S. states, straining local hospitals.
It took over three months for the world to see 1 million virus infections, but the last 1 million cases have come in just eight days, Tedros said during a videoconference for the Dubai-based World Government Summit.
Tedros never mentioned Trump’s name or the fact that he is determined to pull the United States out of the U.N. health agency but warned against “politicizing” the pandemic. https://apnews.com/3a3642cb4b7244665dda34c437c87988
As far as politicizing the crisis, that happens a lot. The WHO itself has done so.
It has also happened around the world and certainly is happening in the USA. And yes, I believe US President Donald Trump, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, California Governor Gavin Newsom, and others have done so.
Some of the politicizing is because of the political ambitions of various leaders–who seem fine with increasing division in the USA.

As far as the USA goes, consider that Jesus taught:
25 Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and every city or house divided against itself will not stand. (Matthew 12:25)
17 Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and a house divided against a house falls. (Luke 11:17)
Consider also the following from the prophet Amos:
9 ‘Assemble on the mountains of Samaria; See great tumults in her midst, And the oppressed within her. 10 For they do not know to do right, Says the Lord, “Who store up violence and robbery in their palaces.”’ (Amos 3:9-10)
The reference to Samaria is pointing to the USA (see also Spiritual Samaritans: Old and New). The above is consistent with both civil unrest and terrorism. Expect more to hit the USA. Many of the right and left feel oppressed, they do not know how to do right, and they have stored up violence, and in ‘protests’ can display violence and robbery.
Violence, itself, often begets violence. So, sadly, we seem to be seeing more and more terror.
The Bible warns:
25 … There shall be terror within (Deuteronomy 32:25)

Note the above statement on riots. We saw rioting within a month of that post related to George Floyd’s killing.
Now, some the politicizing we have seen is also to have a scapegoat to blame.
Notice something on that latter point, which is necessarily related to party politics:

As far as the death count goes, I have long felt that COVID-19-related deaths would exceed those of the flu–but would not approach anything like the Bubonic plague (that would be later–watch also Fourth Horseman, COVID, and the Rise of the Beast of Revelation).
Former US Congressman Ron Paul called out the use of fear and hypocrisy by US politicians related to the coronavirus.

Yes, government officials are using fear, while often also living hypocritically.
The Bible warns:
5 O Assyrian, the rod of mine anger, and the staff in their hand is mine indignation.
6 I will send him against an hypocritical nation, and against the people of my wrath will I give him a charge, to take the spoil, and to take the prey, and to tread them down like the mire of the streets. (Isaiah 10:5-6, KJV)
Yes, the USA is “an hypocritical nation” and will one day be no more (see Anglo – America in Prophecy & the Lost Tribes of Israel).
But you, whether or not you live in the USA, do not have to be fearful.
Jesus promises to protect the truly faithful Philadelphian Christians in the end:
7 “And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write,
‘These things says He who is holy, He who is true, “He who has the key of David, He who opens and no one shuts, and shuts and no one opens”: 8 “I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name. 9 Indeed I will make those of the synagogue of Satan, who say they are Jews and are not, but lie — indeed I will make them come and worship before your feet, and to know that I have loved you. 10 Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth. Sadly, most end time Christians are NOT Philadelphian and not promised that protection–they will have to deal with the wrath of Satan (cf. Revelation 12:17).

32 Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom. (Luke 12:32)

While USA government officials are promoting fear and often hypocrisy, understand that the Bible prophecies that a more totalitarian government will arise in Europe (cf. Revelation 13:1-18; 17:12-13).
But, although that will bring persecution (Daniel 7:25; Revelation 13:7), Philadelphian Christians are not to fear (cf. Luke 12:32; Revelation 3:7-10).
That being said, COVID-19’s reducing economic output and the USA government’s massively increasing debt–the USA dollar will one day be worth no more than the novelty and scrap value of it cotton-paper!
COVID-19 should be proof that the Anglo-American dominated world as we know it will not continue (watch also our latest video COVID 19 is NOT the End, but could it be TEOTWAWKI?):
3 … knowing this first: that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts, 4 and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? The massive increase in debt that the USA keeps doing is UNSUSTAINABLE. That means that things CANNOT CONTINUE as they have been. Biblical prophecies are coming to pass.
Do not live your life like the current world order will continue as it has. Bible prophecy says that it will not. Increasing levels of debt show that a debt bubble will one day burst and the USA (as well as its Anglo-Saxon descended allies will one day be no more).
Those who do not believe that the economy of the US can fail are ignoring reality.
The economy of the US is, at best, built on a foundation of sand, as debt is certainly not a rock to build upon.
Jesus taught:
24 “Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: 25 and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.
26 “But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: 27 and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall.” (Matthew 7:24-27)
34 “But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly. 35 For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth. 36 Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.” (Luke 21:34-36)
Are you watching, praying, and living your life to be accounted worthy? The Great Tribulation is coming.
