Woke policies are NOT strengthening the military of the USA. World Net Daily published the following:

Recently, the Daily Wire published a story showcasing information first obtained by the nonpartisan Functional Government Initiative. According to the report, “The Biden-Harris Defense Department paid outside organizations millions of taxpayer dollars to advance diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives, including race-based career advancement programs, in the U.S. military.” …
WorldNetDaily interviewed Tom Burbage, a Naval Academy graduate, former Navy test pilot and Aerospace and Defense industry leader. He retired in 2013 …
Burbage told WND, “increasing levels of government funding has incentivized the growth of what is today a multi-billion-dollar DEI market.”
“This has been an ongoing effort to change government institutions to support this ideology,” he argued, adding, “In our opinion, and in the opinion of most veterans who have served in our armed forces, the military should be the last bastion of the government that’s affected by money being directed to promote identity politics in a warrior ethos founded on creating unity.”
“DEI is the antithesis to the culture of the military,” he said. “Unsurprisingly and unfortunately, these financial incentives, further supported by evolving promotion criteria, have taken deep roots.”
“It’s difficult to get a man to understand something when his salary depends on his not understanding it,” Burbage said, quoting famed novelist and social reformer Upton Sinclair. …
He places the blame squarely at the feet of senior military leadership. Over a decade ago, he said, there was “a purge of military leadership.” With the purge, he said, “leadership promotion began to focus on people who were willing carry a message like DEI forward.”
Burbage suggested, “Given the very high risk of military action in the world today, the importance of understanding the cause and effect of policies supporting anything other than recruiting, retention, readiness and lethality is paramount.” Furthermore, he told WND, “More and more people in military operations and military careers are realizing how detrimental DEI is to the world we live in today – a world that’s more dangerous than it ever was.” https://www.wnd.com/2024/08/top-military-leaders-to-blame-for-woke-culture-destroying-armed-forces/
Woke policies are not strengthening the US military nor cohesiveness, which is often needed in battle. Woke policies promote LGBTQ+ perversity as well.
Of course, there have also been a lot of cultural deterioration throughout American society. That, too, is also affecting the military.
Consider also that the US military is having problems getting recruits as the American youth have various problems:

A whopping 77 percent of American youth in the optimal military recruitment age of 17 to 24 years old are disqualified due to being too fat, abusing drugs and/or alcohol, or for being in poor medical health, according to a resurfaced Defense Department study. …
The numbers represent a 6 percent increase in “disqualified” youth from the previous QMA assessment of data ending in 1997, which found that a whopping 71 percent of recruitment-aged youth were disqualified. …
- The proportion of youth eligible for military service without a waiver is 23%. This is a decrease from previous estimates (29%).
- Most eligible youth are disqualified for multiple reasons (44%).
- The largest increases in disqualification estimates observed between 2013 and 2020 were for mental health and overweight conditions.
- When considering youth disqualified for one reason alone, the most prevalent disqualification rates are overweight (11%), drug [and alcohol] abuse (8%), and medical/physical health (7%).
- The proportion of youth who are Qualified Military Available (QMA), defined as both eligible and not currently enrolled in college, is 12%. …
The military’s recruitment crisis has been building over the last several years. Back in October 2018, Military.com ran a story under the headline: “One-Third of Youths Too Obese for Military Service, Study Finds.”
The military news site quoted retired Army Lt. Gen Samuel Ebbesen recalling his time as an assistant to a World War II and Korean War veteran, a Master Sgt. Bell.
“Fat people don’t make good soldiers. …They get injured more often. They take longer to heal when they get hurt. And they lack stamina, which is critical when you fight in a war. The above article also says that woke policies are also affecting recruitment:

In February, CBN News compared a U.S. military recruitment video featuring a corporal talking proudly about her lesbian moms, including a cartoon depiction of their same-sex “wedding,” to a Chinese People’s Liberation Army recruitment video showing PLA tanks, helicopter gunships and jets blowing up targets.

So, the solution for recruitment?
Well, the US Air Force has decided to change its standards to let fatter people come in:

The Air Force has loosened its restrictions on body fat for new recruits, one of the latest moves to grow the pool of potential applicants amid the military’s recruiting crisis.
In the past, men and women’s bodies needed to be 20% or 28% fat, respectively, to be eligible for service. That benchmark is now 26% for men and 36% for women, Air Force Recruiting Service spokesperson Leslie Brown said …
Officials changed the body fat standard based on the recommendation of a team, led by Air Force Vice Chief of Staff Gen. David Allvin, that was formed to look at recruiting challenges. The Bible opposes obesity–but the US military has decided to try to live with it.
Let me add that once people are in the USAF, many get fatter. And although the USAF has an ongoing fitness requirement, it is very easy to meet and does not result in a fit force.

What is being ‘woke’ supposed to mean? Do the woke have ”an active awareness of systemic injustices and prejudices, especially those related to civil and human rights” or are they perhaps hypocrites as an article in Newsweek suggested? What about religious rights? What about science? Are the following, which are held by much of the non-woke, scientifically/factually true: 1. Life begins at conception. 2. LGBTQ people can change their sexual orientation, and should be helped if they want it to change. 3. People of all ethnic backgrounds can be hateful racists. 4. Spontaneous generation of life is impossible. 5. XX chromosomes make one a woman, whereas XY chromosomes make one a man. 6. Heterosexual intercourse is normal. 7. Acquired immunity to COVID is not inferior to vaccine immunity. 8. If masks are required for citizens, than protesters and those who wish to enter the USA illegally should also wear them. 9. That said, there is another major problem facing the military of the USA.
Which is?
It is preparing for war with the wrong enemy.
Ever since Hillary Clinton helped push the Asia pivot policy, the USA has decided that China is the biggest threat to the USA.
So, that is who its top leadership is preparing to fight.
Yet, the Bible warns that the USA will be attacked by friends:
1 How lonely sits the city
That was full of people!
How like a widow is she,
Who was great among the nations!
The princess among the provinces
Has become a slave!2 She weeps bitterly in the night,
Her tears are on her cheeks;
Among all her lovers
She has none to comfort her.
All her friends have dealt treacherously with her;
They have become her enemies. (Lamentations 1:1-2)
The USA has been great among the nations, but it will be destroyed by some of its allies–mainly European ones–ones that the federal government of the USA wants to build up militarily.
The Bible teaches that the coming European King of the North will have a “great army” (Daniel 11:25) and “many ships” (Daniel 11:40)–and the USA is promoting this!
Consider also that those who go woke promote perversity and tend to despise the word of God. The Bible warns about that:
12 Therefore thus says the Holy One of Israel:
“Because you despise this word,
And trust in oppression and perversity,
And rely on them,
13 Therefore this iniquity shall be to you
Like a breach ready to fall,
A bulge in a high wall,
Whose breaking comes suddenly, in an instant. (Isaiah 30:12-13)
Some may think that since the USA is the strongest military in the world that it cannot be defeated by Europe.
However, the Bible shows that in the end time, the strongest military power will be defeated:
39 Thus he shall act against the strongest fortresses with a foreign god, which he shall acknowledge, and advance its glory; and he shall cause them to rule over many, and divide the land for gain. (Daniel 11:39)
The “he” above is the European King of the North Beast power.
A woke military is a weaker military.
A military and government that promote perversity and despise the word of God are setting the USA up for defeat.
That is what the Bible teaches.
