Zechariah’s Plague: a brain-eating amoeba? Bird Flu vaccine push?

A man in Israel died from an extremely rare amoeba that causes encephalitis, also known as the brain-eating amoeba. The prophet Zechariah described plagues that away at the human body as accompanying the pre-Messiah War of Gog and Magog, leading some to speculate that this may be setting the stage for the final war that is beginning to unfold in Israel right now. https://israel365news.com/392826/zechariahs-plague-2nd-man-dies-from-brain-eating-amoeba/
No, the above case of a “brain-eating amoeba” is not a sign of “the pre-Messiah War of Gog and Magog.” For one thing, there is no Gog and Magog was before Jesus returns. That war is long after He comes back.
As far as when Zechariah 14:12 will be fulfilled, the late Pastor General of the old Worldwide Church of God, Herbert W. Armstrong wrote:
When the glorified all-Powerful Christ first comes again to earth, the nations will be angry. The military forces gathered at Jerusalem will try to fight Him! I said “try.” But far more powerful armies follow Christ from heaven — all the holy angels (Revelation 19:14, identified in Matthew 25:31). Want to see a description of that battle — and what will happen to those hostile human armies?
In Revelation 17, the armies of the now-rising United States of Europe — the resurrected Roman Empire — are referred to in verse 14: “These shall make war with the Lamb [Christ], and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings ….”
But how will He overcome them? We find that in the 14th chapter of Zechariah:
“And this shall be the plague wherewith the [Eternal] will smite all the people [armies] that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth” (Zechariah 14:12).
Perhaps it is even plainer in the Revised Standard Version: “And this shall be the plague with which the [Eternal] will smite all the people that wage war against Jerusalem: their flesh shall rot while they are still on their feet, their eyes shall rot in their sockets, and their tongues shall rot in their mouths.”
This rotting of their flesh off their bones will happen almost instantaneously — while they are still on their feet.
What a divine retribution against armies that will fight against Christ. What a demonstration of the Divine Power with which the glorified Christ will rule all nations. Rebellion against God’s Law and God’s rule must, and speedily will be put down. (Armstrong HW. The Wonderful World Tomorrow – What It Will Be Like. Everest House, 1979, pp. 35-36)
The above does not mean that there cannot be an amoeba plague, but simply supports the view that the amoeba plague is NOT related to the fulfillment of Zechariah 14:12.
As far as plagues go, the bird flu may be one. Some have started to be vaccinated against it:
WORKERS AT POULTRY and fur farms in Finland will, in the coming days, receive vaccines against bird flu. Fourteen other EU countries have signed up to procure bird-flu vaccines through a programme set up by the European Commission. America’s government has also bought vaccines in anticipation of a pandemic. And it recently commissioned Moderna, a pharmaceutical company, to create an mRNA bird-flu vaccine using a technology that was effective in protecting against covid-19. So why are countries vaccinating people against bird flu?
The illness is also called avian flu or highly pathogenic avian influenza. The usual carriers are wild waterfowl; when these birds migrate, so does the virus. It is easily transmitted to domestic poultry and is highly contagious and deadly for them. Usually it is rare for bird flu to infect mammals, including humans. But the strain of the virus that is currently circulating, H5N1, has infected hundreds of mammals. This spring it was found in dairy cows in Texas. It has since been found in dairy herds in at least 12 American states. With each mammal that is infected, there is a possibility that the virus mutates, allowing it to jump to humans more easily.
In the nearly three decades since H5N1 was first detected in geese in China, worldwide around 900 people are known to have been infected, usually from contact with infected birds. No one has got bird flu from cooking or eating cooked chicken. No one has got the virus from eggs. No one has got the virus from milk or dairy products. No one has got the virus from eating beef. The virus was isolated in 1959 but there were no known human cases until 1997.
The first cases in 1997 occurred in Hong Kong. Interestingly, a month before Hong Kong was handed over to China by the British.
So what is the bird flu and why are they repeatedly trying to start a “pandemic” with it? …
In a presentation through ‘Reality with Bruce de Torres’, Dr. Nass went over the history of bird flu, the many things that don’t make sense in the narrative and how we may already be in another plandemic. Selected quotes below from the presentation re as follows:

“US-paid scientists have been making bird flu viruses more contagious, more deadly and more infectious for humans since at least 2011.”

Right On Time: Fourth Human Bird Flu Cases Surfaces

The fourth case of human bird flu has surfaced in Colorado. This is right on time (or it is another wild coincidence) for Moderna to have been awarded $176 million to produce an mRNA bird flu vaccine.
As we know, Moderna already has a bird flu vaccine in very early-stage testing that uses the same mRNA technology that allowed rapid development and rollout of “vaccines” to protect against COVID-19. Could the bird flu be a set up?
Yes, but could it be for real?
Yes.
There is an old story about the boy who cried wolf. Basically, it goes like this: A boy is tending sheep. He is bored. He decides to see what happens if he yells out, “Wolf, wolf.” People from the village come to assist, but there is no wolf and the boy laughs at them. They go away. Another day he does the same thing and gets the same result. But the next week, a real pack of wolves arrive. The boy screams out, “Wolf, wolf.” But this time, the people do not respond as they do not believe him. The wolves come and eat the boy and the sheep.
Why bring this up?
Various ones have been promoting fear the past several years related to COVID. Yet, although many have died with COVID, it appears that most who died were infirmed or elderly. The actual death rate for the healthy from COVID-19 was not especially high. Many public officials lost credibility. Yet, many who opposed to them have also spread false information and fear.
When a prophesied pandemic with a much higher death rate appears, many will not take it seriously enough.
But such a deadly pestilence will come:
7 When He opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature saying, “Come and see.” 8 So I looked, and behold, a pale horse. And the name of him who sat on it was Death, and Hades followed with him. And power was given to them over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword, with hunger, with death, and by the beasts of the earth. (Revelation 6:7-8)
The ride of the fourth horseman will result in the death of 1/4 of humanity–with much of that from disease!
That is much worse than what we saw from COVID.
What will then happen a few years from now?
The Bible shows that the coming European King of the North beast will gain power after a time of death and pestilence.
While COVID-19, itself, was not that, it seems to have helped set the stage for people to turn to such a leader.

What seal represents the start of the Great Tribulation? Which Christians did Jesus promise to protect from the coming “hour of trial”?

Even as some aspects of life have been returning to “normal,” do not think the world is not now in a time of transition that Jesus called the “beginning of sorrows” with “troubles” (Mark 13:8).

Bird Flu and 4th Horseman’s Ride
The World Health Organization (WHO) is greatly concerned that the avian flu (H5N1) is passing to cows and goats and then to humans. Have farmers done anything, like feeding chicken manure, to cows that might have affected them? Were unnatural feedings of ground up animals to cows (which are vegetarians) the cause of ‘mad cow disease’? Does the avian flu have an exceedingly high mortality rate for humans? Have any scientists suggested bird flu could be 100 times worse than COVID? Are the USA and China working on making bird flu more infectious? If so, why? Humans, directly or indirectly, will be a factor in the coming more severe pestilences.
Let me also add, that the ride of the 4th horseman begins after the opening of the fourth seal, and that is followed by the opening of the fifth seal, which is the start of the Great Tribulation.
Yes, some variation of the bird flu could be tied to the opening of the fourth seal of Revelation and the ride of the fourth horseman of the Apocalypse.
But no, the brain-eating amoeba is NOT related to the Gog and Magog war of Ezekiel 38.
