With much of Europe facing a cold winter thanks to the war in Ukraine, various leaders have been sounding the alarm over the ‘sacrifices’ people are going to have to make in order to maintain opposition to Vladimir Putin – who’s betting on fracturing the EU due to Russia’s immense leverage over energy. …
EU policy Chief Josep Borrell warned that “wary” EU populations would have to endure deep economic pain and a severe energy crunch – while calling on the citizenry to “bear the consequences” with continued resolve. …
Belgian Prime Minister Alexander De Croo went much further – suggesting that “the next 5 to 10 winters will be difficult.”
“The development of the situation is very difficult throughout Europe,” De Croo told Belgium broadcaster VRT.
“In a number of sectors, it is really difficult to deal with those high energy prices. We are monitoring this closely, but we must be transparent: the coming months will be difficult, the coming winters will be difficult,” he said.
The prime minister’s comments suggest replacing Russian natural gas imports could take years, exerting further economic doom on the region’s economy in the form of energy hyperinflation.
And in yet another ominous warning in what must have been coordinated messaging, French President Emmanuel Macron on Wednesday went even further – warning at his first cabinet meeting after the summer holidays that the French should expect to make deep sacrifices in what he called the “end of abundance.” …
Macron said … “What we are currently living through is a kind of major tipping point or a great upheaval … we are living the end of what could have seemed an era of abundance … the end of the abundance of products of technologies that seemed always available … the end of the abundance of land and materials including water,” he said, adding that France and the French felt that they’ve been living under a series of crises, “each worse than the last.”
“This overview that I’m giving, the end of abundance, the end of insouciance, the end of assumptions – it’s ultimately a tipping point that we are going through that can lead our citizens to feel a lot of anxiety. Faced with this, we have a duty, duties, the first of which is to speak frankly and clearly without doom-mongering,” Macron continued, adding that France, Europe and the world had possibly been too “insouciant” about threats to democracy and human rights – while warning of the “rise of illiberal regimes and strengthening of authoritarian regimes.” …

World Economic Forum Young Global Leader and French President Emmanuel Macron delivered a dark speech on Wednesday at the first cabinet meeting following the summer break, warning that common people must prepare for a “great upheaval” and the “end of abundance.”
“I believe that we are in the process of living through a tipping point or great upheaval. Firstly because we are living through… what could seem like the end of abundance,” said Macron, a former Rothschild banker, from his gold-plated seat in a gold-plated room in his literal palace.

Armstrong says you are not going to have to wait until next year to see extreme stress in the financial system. Armstrong is seeing financial upheavals coming in the August and September time frame. So, the economic pain is already here and getting worse, especially in Europe. Armstrong says, … not only is the euro dramatically declining, but the euro bonds are being shunned by U.S. banks. The late Herbert W. Armstrong (no relationship to Martin Armstrong) pointed to a banking crisis involving the USA, as something that would lead to the rise of the Beast in Europe. Martin Armstrong’s comments are consistent with that.
As I have written for over a decade, we will see civil unrest in Europe. Civil unrest in Europe will be a factor leading to the rise of the Beast of Revelation 13, also called the King of the North in Daniel 11.
Food issues are likely to also be a factor. Notice the following:

Europe’s corn yield is expected to drop by nearly a fifth due to a devastating drought. The bloc’s Monitoring Agricultural Resources forecasted that this upcoming harvest is not going to be a plentiful one.
Besides the news of record high electricity prices, a troubling new crop failure report about a low corn yield has popped up. According to Bloomberg, the plunge in corn output could result in further food inflation. It will boost feed costs for livestock herds, adding to even more woes for farmers who are plagued with elevated diesel and fertilizer prices.
Increasing crop failures because of drought will only exacerbate the food crisis that started long before the Ukraine “invasion”. Supermarket prices for meat in the EU jumped 12% in July versus a year earlier. Milk, cheese, and eggs are also skyrocketing at record rates. This allows us to come to the conclusion that inflation in Europe will remain quite high. As explained by Germany’s central bank chief Joachim Nagel: “The issue of inflation will not go away in 2023.”
The Bible points to the ride of the third horseman of the Apocalypse with food shortages and food price inflation per Revelation 6:5-6.
Hungry people are often willing to take drastic actions.

Regular readers of this page are aware that I have been writing for years that something like the above will happen.
Why?
Based upon the following scriptures, which show two future reorganizations that will happen in Europe:
12 “The ten horns which you saw are ten kings who have received no kingdom as yet, but they receive authority for one hour as kings with the beast. 13 These are of one mind, and they will give their power and authority to the beast. (Revelation 17:11-13)
Yes, facing economic, international, migrant, unrest, and food issues all look to be factors in the coming reorganization.
Some COG groups, like PCG and LCG, changed the historic COG understanding of this and have sometimes insisted that the ‘ten kings’ refers to 10 currently existing nations (LCG has said 10 or 11).
The Bible is clear that the final European Beast power will be a mixture of of weak and strong parties that do not adhere particularly well together per Daniel 2:41-43.
The Bible is also clear that Europe will be led by a warring leader (Revelation 13:3-4) who will feign peace (Daniel 8 and 11).
When times get tougher, more and more people will support a dictator.
French President Macron and others in Europe are warning that times will get tougher.
Although we are not yet to the point for the Beast to rise up in Europe, the stage is getting set.
And while he will for a time, usher a time of abundance for Europe, that will not last (cf. Revelation 18).
But the Kingdom of God that will replace human rule will.

Some claim that these passages refer to a gathering of 10 currently existing nations together, while one group teaches that this is referring to 11 nations getting together. Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse What do each of the four horseman of the Apocalypse represent? Have they began their ride? Did Jesus discuss the any of this? Did Nostradamus or any other ‘private prophets’ write predictions that may mislead people so that they may not understand the truth of one or more of the four horseman? Might the U.S.A. Be Gone by 2028? Are there prophetic reasons to believe that the USA will not last two complete presidential terms? Yes. There is a tradition attributed to the Hebrew prophet Elijah that humanity had 6,000 years to live before being replaced by God’s Kingdom. There are scriptures, writings in the Talmud, early Christian teachings that support this. Also, even certain Hindu writings support it.
