But Biden’s expressions of humility and his common courtesies only go so far. When it comes to dismantling a predecessor’s legacy with the stroke of a pen and the words “I have hereunto set my hand,” Biden is off to a fierce start and, like many before him, testing the limits of what a president can do by decree. …
Biden was a bit testy about the pushback when he was asked if Congress might require him to send the pandemic relief package in chunks instead of as a whole. “No one requires me to do anything,” he said with a monarchical flourish.
Biden burst out of the gate with several dozen executive actions. …
Trump’s first executive order, on the day of his inauguration, was directed squarely at unraveling the Affordable Care Act. But presidential decree could not take away what Congress had ordained, and neither could repeated efforts by Republican lawmakers to vote it out of existence.
Biden had an executive order on that matter, too. On Thursday he ordered the law’s health insurance markets to reopen for a special sign-up window, giving the uninsured a chance to find coverage in a raging pandemic after the Trump administration had refused to take that step.

Yes, the way the last few US presidents started out has been different than what the founders of the USA wanted–and there have been various lacks of Constitutional checks and balances.

Regarding the USA and the Biden-Harris Administration, Mike Gendron had the following in his newsletter today:
While we mourn the demise of our once great republic that is now controlled by a Socialist Democrat party, we must not lose heart. As children of God, we know that all wisdom and power belong to our Sovereign Lord and it is He who removes kings and establishes kings (Daniel 2:21). Perhaps God’s patience towards America has ended and His abundant blessings will now be replaced with His righteous judgment. We know God is slow to anger, but America has presumed on the riches of His kindness and patience for too long.
Does America Deserve Divine Judgment?
America has become a moral cesspool that is overflowing with ungodliness, unrighteousness and wickedness. Our government has given women the right to murder their babies in the womb, and as a result, tens of millions of human beings have been killed in abortion clinics. Sexual perversions of all types are defiantly flaunted and widely accepted. God’s unique design for marriage was overturned in a landmark decision by the Supreme Court in 2013. Our country has also become the largest supplier of pornography throughout the world. These are all symptoms of a greater evil which is the sin of idolatry (Col. 3:5). Our nation has turned its back on the one true God by worshipping gods of all the false religions (Exo. 20:3). As a nation, we should no longer ask for God’s blessings but instead expect His judgment. “For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who suppress the truth in unrighteousness” (Rom. 1:18).<
The Fallout of a Godless Nation
In the last three months, our nation has lurched to the left and has been overwhelmed with widespread corruption, blatant hypocrisy, insidious propaganda, flagrant fraud, and evil deeds of darkness. The rapidity of all these wicked activities has been like a tsunami hitting our coastline and wreaking havoc throughout our country. Free speech is being silenced, culture is being cancelled, truth is being suppressed, and lawlessness is replacing justice. Demands are now being made to deprogram conservatives. America has become a nation where hostility has replaced tolerance, pessimism has replaced optimism, and hatred has replaced acceptance. How can it be that a career politician supported by Chinese communists, who had difficulty finishing a sentence and drawing a crowd, could “miraculously” receive 80 million votes, more than any politician in our history? This pompous hypocrite then swore an oath, with his hand on a Bible, while defiantly opposing God and His Word on the right to life and the sanctity of marriage.
What Are Christians To Do?
We need to realize the goal of the wicked left is to eliminate our Christian influence and silence our moral voices. More than ever, we need to speak the truth, live by the truth and defend the truth. We cannot be silent or apathetic. While it is concerning that our republic may be perishing, much more concerning is the reality that people are perishing without the Savior. …
Pope Francis extended his “cordial good wishes and the assurance of my prayers” to pro-abortion U.S. President Joe Biden, a man who claims to be Catholic while backing pro-abortion, anti-family, and pro-LGBT policies. Biden supports abortion “under any circumstance”. He marked the 48th anniversary of the Supreme Court’s Roe v. Wade decision that legalized abortion with a pledge to make sure that “everyone” who wants it has access to killing their preborn children.
The Pope prayed that Biden’s decisions “will be guided by a concern for building a society marked by authentic justice and freedom, together with unfailing respect for the rights and dignity of every person, especially the poor, the vulnerable and those who have no voice.” At no point did the Pope call upon Biden to show concern for the hundreds of thousands of preborn babies who are killed by abortion each year in America.

Regarding the end times, Jesus warned:
12 And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. (Matthew 24:12)
Yes, lawlessness and hypocrisy is abounding without real love.

Yes, the USA is “an hypocritical nation” and will one day be no more (see Anglo – America in Prophecy & the Lost Tribes of Israel).
As far a Joe Biden’s executive orders and hypocrisy, notice the following from the Daily Reckoning (DR):

He authored 19 executive orders. By day seven… he authored 37.

Bill Clinton authored one… while fascist George W. Bush authored none. …
What then did the president mandate? Here is a partial list:
Require masks, physical distancing and other health measures while on federal property…
Direct the acting education secretary to pause federal student loan payments and collections and keep the interest rate at 0%…
Expand protections for federal workers, including putting federal agencies on a path to require a $15 minimum wage for contractors…
Increase the amount of federal spending that goes to American companies and orders an increase in domestic content…
Sets climate change as a key consideration for U.S. national security and foreign policy, establish a National Climate Task Force, pause new oil and natural gas leases on public lands or in offshore waters “to the extent consistent with applicable law,” sets the goal of achieving a carbon pollution-free electricity sector by 2035…
Require that all residents of a state be counted in the census, regardless of immigration status…
Halt construction and funding of the border wall…
Revokes the Pentagon’s ban on transgender people serving in the military…
Directs Health and Human Services secretary to mitigate “racially discriminatory language in describing the COVID-19 pandemic,” among other measures.

Pushing the transgender agenda is filthiness. So is increasing/allowing funding for abortions.
Now notice a prophecy for this time:
12 There is a generation that is pure in its own eyes,
Yet is not washed from its filthiness.
13 There is a generation — oh, how lofty are their eyes!
And their eyelids are lifted up. (Proverbs 30:12-13)
The above is referring to a hypocritical generation–the one we are now in. Jesus warned that a particular generation (Matthew 24:34) would see the beginning of sorrows, the great tribulation, and the end of the age (Matthew 24:4-34): We are in that generation now!
As far as “What Are Christians To Do?,” one thing to do is to pray:
1 Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, 2 for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. 3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior (1 Timothy 2:1-3).
9 In this manner, therefore, pray:
Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
10 Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts,
As we forgive our debtors.
13 And do not lead us into temptation,
But deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen. (Matthew 6:9-13)

Notice that Jesus said to pray for the Kingdom of God to come.
But there is more for Christians to do than pray. After warning about lawlessness and the love of many growing cold, Jesus said:
13 But he who endures to the end shall be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come. (Matthew 24:13-14)
So, faithful Philadelphian Christians need to endure to the end (cf. Revelation 3:7-13).
Furthermore since, “this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations,” before the end comes, consider also something that the Apostle Paul wrote:
14 How … shall they hear without a preacher? 15 And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written:
“How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, Who bring glad tidings of good things! (Romans 10:14-15)
Yes, Christians need to support the work of preaching the gospel to the world as a witness.
The truly faithful understand that and will not mainly be focused on themselves, but supporting the preaching of the gospel to the world as a witness.

If you think that God will take care of it without your help, you are right. God does not need your help, but to develop the right type of loving character, you do need to support it–unless you prefer to be Laodicean (cf. Revelation 3:14-18).
But if you think that not supporting it because you have other issues, worries, or priorities is acceptable in God’s eyes, you are wrong (cf. Matthew 25:24-30; Revelation 3:14-18).
11 And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed. 12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light. (Romans 13:11-12)
The USA and the world is changing–and not for the better (this is NOT, BTW, an endorsement of Donald Trump).
1 Gather yourselves together, yes, gather together,
O undesirable nation,
2 Before the decree is issued,
Or the day passes like chaff,
Before the Lord’s fierce anger comes upon you,
Before the day of the Lord’s anger comes upon you!
3 Seek the Lord, all you meek of the earth,
Who have upheld His justice.
Seek righteousness, seek humility.
It may be that you will be hidden
In the day of the Lord’s anger. (Zephaniah 2:1-3)
