If we are ever to be free, we have to remove our consent. That goes for those who worshipped Trump as the messiah as well (and there were plenty.) …
It is way past time to figure out that this is the plan. One world government, worshipped under the one world religion where the very few control and enslave the many.

The former president himself is shown as a six-winged seraphim bracketed by the likewise angelic Hillary and Bill Clinton, with the trio gazing benignly from the heavens. A crowd of mask-wearing suburban laymen on Earth celebrates Biden’s ascension. Yes, we have a type of secular religion which is getting more and more dominant in the U.S.A. It is not new in the sense that belief in the disprovable explanation of evolution as the origin of life (see Is God’s Existence Logical?) is one of its long (and unscientific) foundations.
But as secularism has been absorbed by most of the media, academia, and government leaders, it is more dominant than before. And the goal for many is for it to take over more. Notice the following that came out last month:
“The Secular Democrats of America PAC prepared a report for Joe Biden and his transition team that outlines a roadmap to “boldly restore a vision of constitutional secularism and respect in the land for religious and intellectual pluralism.”
Sound harmless? No. They aim to make it illegal for businesses such as a baker that refuses to make a cake for a homosexual wedding. Calling it a hate crime. From now on it will be illegal if they have their way.
“In the document, the group argues that Trump has “empowered the religious right in ways no other administration has before, making significant advances in enacting their Christian nationalist agenda.” (More) I encourage you to read the whole report.
They even say the rise of Christian Nationalism is a national security risk. They want to de-radicalize us. It’s this that troubles me and should trouble everyone especially Christians. We have watched the watering down secularization of many churches in recent years.

Having read, as well as heard, Joe Biden’s words since his inauguration as President of the United States, sadly he seems to be pushing for many aspects that the secularists have pushed on racial and religious matters. He has also made comments that look to be supportive of squelching free speech and truth telling. He has also stated that ‘rights’ are not absolute–which means that the head of the federal government feels the government is above religious and other rights.
As Christians, we realize it is recorded that the Apostle Peter told government officials, “We ought to obey God rather than men” (Acts 5:29, NKJV). Related to COVID steps and LGBTQ+ matters, we have seen more government pressures reducing religious freedom in favor of a type of ‘group-think’ secularism. But we still must live as Christians.

The Washington Post reported an increase in American secularism. Is that scientific or foolish? Were will that lead? Are there people who seem to relish in taking away religious and other freedoms? Are there major biases against religious content by Big Tech and many others? What is prophesied to happen to those that despise the Word of God? Dr. Thiel addresses these matters and more.

Yes, what is happening in the USA will lead to war–and ultimately the end of the USA (cf. Daniel 11:39; see also USA in Prophecy: The Strongest Fortresses).
Many governments seem to use fear and are pushing towards totalitarianism–and more of that is prophesied (cf. Revelation 13:16-18).
Many on the left and right do not put a high enough priority on truth.

It is easy to point out the deceptions of the globalists, but many that are supposedly opposed to the globalist agenda have also been spreading deception.
Ever since October 2017, one particularly insidious deception {QAnon} has spread all over the Internet like wildfire, and now everyone is finally realizing that it was all a hoax from the very beginning. …
From the very start I knew that it was a giant hoax, and I couldn’t believe that there were people out there that were stupid enough to believe it.
Sadly, some believed it to the bitter end. There were some that watched television coverage of the inauguration believing that mass arrests would happen at any moment.
If the “mass arrests” had not happened during the previous four years, why in the world were they going to happen at the very last moment?
It didn’t make any sense, but of course the entire hoax never made any sense the entire time.
The truth is that there is no “plan”.

There are others that expected a last minute “miracle” at the inauguration because they were following charlatans that convinced large numbers of people that God told them that Donald Trump would still be president.
Those charlatans owe millions of people an apology. …
The way back starts with the truth. We must reject and renounce all of the falsehoods, and we need to start focusing on what really matters.

As readers of this COGwriter Church of God News page are aware, I denounced those who claimed that God supposedly told them that Donald Trump would remain in office before (see CGFF and PCG have distorted logic as to why they assert Donald Trump will remain President of the United States and PCG on Dominion software flaws and why it claims Donald Trump will prevail) and after (see Biden-Harris Inaugurated: Gerald Flurry and Don Billingsley again proven wrong and PCG changes Donald Trump position, but without admitting that it’s leader was CLEARLY IN ERROR AND PROVEN TO BE FALSE ) he was out.
Does that mean that I believe it is impossible for Donald Trump to get back in office?
No.
But that should not be a Christian focus. And all should realize that Donald Trump had major problems with the truth as well.
As far as truth goes, Jesus taught:
31 … “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. 32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” (John 8:31-32)
The Bible says to:
1 Cry aloud, spare not; Lift up your voice like a trumpet; Tell My people their transgression, And the house of Jacob their sins. (Isaiah 58:1)
A lack of love of the truth and the rise of the secularlist agenda are sins to be denounced.
That being said, more speech restrictions, censorship. and persecutions are coming (cf. Revelation 13; Amos 8:11-12).
As well as more lies:
3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; 4 and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables. (2 Timothy 4:3-4)
12 Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution. 13 But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived. 14 But you must continue in the things which you have learned and been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned them, 15 and that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. (2 Timothy 3:12-15)
Do not be persuaded by the secular agenda or any agenda that places its faith in a political leader.
Also, do not fear and worry about this world. Jesus taught the following:
9 In this manner, therefore, pray:
Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
10 Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread. (Matthew 6:9-11)25 “Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? 26 Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? 27 Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?
28 “So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; 29 and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 30 Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?
31 “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. 33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble. (Matthew 6:25-34)
29 “And do not seek what you should eat or what you should drink, nor have an anxious mind. 30 For all these things the nations of the world seek after, and your Father knows that you need these things. 31 But seek the kingdom of God, and all these things shall be added to you.
32 “Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom. (Luke 12:29-32)
Yes, there are secular and lying agendas.
As Christians, we need to focus on Jesus and His coming Kingdom.
That, and no worldly political agenda, is our hope. This world’s governments, including the USA, will pass away. The Apostle John wrote:
17 And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever. (1 John 2:17)
And the USA may not last until 2028 (watch Is the USA prophesied to be destroyed by 2028?).
That should not depress Christians.
The Apostle Paul taught:
16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore comfort one another with these words. (1 Thessalonians 4:16-18)
Take comfort in the truth of the word of God and His coming kingdom.
