Violence Kills in Colorado and Syria
Notice the following:
CNN – 2o July 2012 (CNN) — The man suspected of shooting up an Aurora, Colorado movie theater screening the new Batman film early Friday, killing 12 and wounding 59, also left his apartment rigged with traps, police said…Police say Holmes, 24, dressed head-to-toe in protective tactical gear, set off two devices of some kind before spraying the theater with bullets from an AR-15 rifle, a 12-gauge shotgun and at least one of two .40-caliber handguns police recovered at the scene.New York Times – 20 July 2012BEIRUT, Lebanon – Thousands of people were fleeing Damascus and heading into Lebanon on Friday, according to the United Nations refugee agency, as rebels described the country’s bloodiest fighting in the 17-month uprising…the number of dead in fighting across Syria on Thursday was reported to have risen above 300. Of the dead, 98 were soldiers, 139 civilians and 65 rebels, rebels said.
And yes, in other places various others are trying to kill each other.

23 ‘Make a chain,
For the land is filled with crimes of blood,
And the city is full of violence.
24 Therefore I will bring the worst of the Gentiles,
And they will possess their houses;
I will cause the pomp of the strong to cease,
And their holy places shall be defiled.
25 Destruction comes;
They will seek peace, but there shall be none. (Ezekiel 7:23-25)
Violence leads to violence.
America will be consumed by violence (though the final amount will come from external sources) if it does not have national repentance; and prophetically, the situation in Syria must change (national repentance would help the Syrians, but their tendency to be against the Bible would seem to make that national repentance almost impossible).
But for all peoples, everywhere, personal repentance can be possible.
