Ecumenalists push for COP21 ‘climate change’ agenda: a solution for terrorism? Barack Obama seemingly wants to stay the course.

Pope Francis has prayed for the success of the climate conference underway in Paris while in the French capital hundreds from many nations and confessions joined in a service for God’s Creation at Notre Dame cathedral.
Negotiators paving the way for the global climate change agreement at COP21 in Paris on Dec. 6 said they had cleared a major hurdle, producing a draft accord in record time.
They raised hopes that a full week of minister-led talks can now clinch a deal despite many sticking points, The Guardian reported with global church leaders pressing for the dire need for an for a plan to stem climate change..
In Rome on Dec. 6, the Pope said, that as he follows the work of the conference closely, he was reminded of a question he asked in his recent encyclical Laudato Si:
“What kind of world do we want to pass on to those who come after us, to the children who are growing up?”
Francis then urged that, “for the sake of the common home we share and for future generations, every effort should be made, in Paris to mitigate the impact of climate change and, at the same time, to tackle poverty and to let human dignity flourish. …
In Notre Dame the current Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew I said Dec. 3, “It is our moral obligation to engage actively in favor of environmental protection.”
In a message read to the congregation at the service on Dec. 3 he said, “It is not too late to act, but we cannot allow ourselves to put off until tomorrow what we can do today.”
The ecumenical service opened with a procession of lay people, young and old, and of clergy and church leaders from France and beyond, garbed in white, black, red and purple robes.
They included Cardinal André Vingt-Trois, the archbishop of Paris, WCC general secretary the Rev. This conference is technically the 21st Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, often abbreviated COP21.
Attempts to create a world government are advancing. Last week, retired Archbishop Desmond Tutu of South Africa claimed that the conference was humanity’s “last chance” (see UN’s ‘climate change’ conference trying to establish more world government precedents).
As Ecumenical News reported, COP21 is consistent with Pope Francis’ Laudato Si encyclical.
Many world leaders believe that it will be international human cooperation that will bring a clean environment, peace, and prosperity–they do not believe it will take the Kingdom of God to make that happen. And while they will have some temporal successes (cf. Daniel 9:27), they will not only not succeed, their human efforts will ultimately bring planet Earth to the point that it would make life unsustainable if Jesus did not return to establish His Kingdom. What world leaders are often proclaiming here is a false gospel. Many in the world are trying to put together a semi-religious Babylonian international plan to put in a new world order in the 21st century.

In his inaugural speech at the COP21 climate change summit in Paris, President Obama acknowledged the terrorist attacks that occurred in the city earlier this month, but warned his fellow leaders not to be distracted from focusing on the looming threat of global warming.
“What greater rejection of those who would tear down our world than marshaling our best efforts to save it,” he said proudly.

The terrorists who killed 14 and wounded many others after Barack Obama stated what he did apparently were not deterred from their hideous actions because the USA is intending to support COP21 and other movements related to the ‘climate change’ agenda (see Muslim terrorists kill in California).

Prior to the Paris attacks by the Islamic State, US President Barack Obama said that the Islamic State was “contained” in Iraq and in Syria (http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2015/12/06/us-intel-to-obama-isis-is-not-contained.html), but the Paris and San Bernadino attacks have proven Barack Obama’s statements to be in accurate.
US President Barack Obama has recently also stated that his policies are working to resolve the terrorist threat, but many in the USA and elsewhere have their doubts.
The biblical reality is that it will take national repentance to stop the terrorist threat.
Why?
Because terrorism is prophesied to hit the disobedient:
12 Behold, these are the ungodly,Who are always at ease; They increase in riches…19 Oh, how they are brought to desolation, as in a moment! They are utterly consumed with terrors. (Psalms 73:12,19)
10 You have forgotten God your Savior; you have not remembered the Rock, your fortress. More and more in the USA will not observe God’s commandments and more and more legal decisions are contrary to, and basically despise His statutes (the LGBT agenda, including transgender actions, come to immediate mind). No one should be surprised that the USA has experienced terrorism–and as I have written for years, more will come.
US President Barack Obama has often supported policies that are directly contrary to the commandments and statutes of the Bible.
While reducing pollution is a good thing, several of the ways that the COP21 conference are trying to force on the world will not lead to a truly clean environment nor peace. Nor will COP21 stop terrorism.
Short of national repentance, it will take the return of Jesus and the establishment of the millennial Kingdom of God.
