Pope Francis continues to press his climate change ‘gospel’

VATICAN CITY (AP) — Pope Francis urged governments on Friday to make good on their commitments to curb global warming, warning that climate change, continued unsustainable development and rampant consumption threatens to turn the Earth into a vast pile of “rubble, deserts and refuse.”
Francis made the appeal at a Vatican conference marking the third anniversary of his landmark environmental encyclical “Praise Be.” The document, meant to spur action at the 2015 Paris climate conference, called for a paradigm shift in humanity’s relationship with Mother Nature. …

Pope Francis’ ‘Praise Be’ encyclical is better known with its original title, Laudato Si . This is a false ‘gospel’ as well as is the United Nation’s ‘New Universal Agenda, which he has pushed for and endorsed.
In 2016, Pope Francis was given the ‘International Charlemagne Prize.’ It is awarded annually by the German city of Aachen for “contributions to European unity.” Charlemagne, himself, was the first one crowned emperor of the old ‘Holy Roman Empire’ (800 A.D.). The roots of our peoples, the roots of Europe, were consolidated down the centuries by the constant need to integrate in new syntheses the most varied and discrete cultures. The identity of Europe is, and always has been, a dynamic and multicultural identity. …
In addressing the European Parliament, I used the image of Europe as a grandmother. I noted that there is a growing impression that Europe is weary, aging, no longer fertile and vital, that the great ideals that inspired Europe seem to have lost their appeal. There is an impression that Europe is declining, that it has lost its ability to be innovative and creative, and that it is more concerned with preserving and dominating spaces than with generating processes of inclusion and change. There is an impression that Europe is tending to become increasingly “entrenched”, rather than open to initiating new social processes capable of engaging all individuals and groups in the search for new and productive solutions to current problems. Europe, rather than protecting spaces, is called to be a mother who generates processes (cf. Apostolic Exhortation Evangelii Gaudium, 223). …
To the rebirth of a Europe weary, yet still rich in energies and possibilities, the Church can and must play her part. …
Only a Church rich in witnesses will be able to bring back the pure water of the Gospel to the roots of Europe. In this enterprise, the path of Christians towards full unity is a great sign of the times and a response to the Lord’s prayer “that they may all be one” (Jn 17:21).

The Vatican has long pushed European unity–but this frequent ‘climate focus’ is relatively new. Notice that Pope Francis is pushing for Europe to bring about a human form of utopia–that will NOT happen. Europe needs the Kingdom of God (consider also watching the video Millennial Utopia). The pope’s dream of a European utopia will be a nightmare when a version is realized.
Yet, he keeps pushing for it.
The Bible tells of a Babylonian unity between Europe and the church on the seven-hills in Revelation 17:1-9.
Although that relationship will end (Revelation 17:15-16), the Bible tells of a religious leader who is instrumental in promoting the final European Beast of the sea in Revelation 13.
Pope Francis is not the only one pushing this.
In addition to the UN, various religious leaders have pushed climate agendas similar to Pope Francis.

A Different False Gospel
While there have been a variety of false gospels since at least the time of Simon Magus and the Gnostics, there is a relatively new one being pushed by major leaders of the world’s churches. Essentially, leaders are teaching that ‘climate change’ is related to salvation, the unpardonable sin, and something called the ‘social gospel.’ This is being pushed by leaders including Pope Francis of the Church of Rome, Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew of the Eastern Orthodox Church, and Olav Tveit of the World Council of Churches. Is this a false gospel consistent with Galatians 1:6-11? Are these angels of light or something else (cf. 2 Corinthians 11:13-15 )? While it is good to not pollute, will the ecumenical climate change agenda work according to the Bible? Dr. Thiel address these issues and more.

This false gospel is one that does not involve repentance towards God, does not require accepting Jesus as the only name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), nor does it embrace “the faith once delivered to the saints.”
Pope Francis and others are promoting a worldly view that without repentance, but through international cooperation of unconverted leaders, the world will be able to improve itself and solve its problems.
The Bible says that will not work.
Twice the Bible warns:
There is a way that seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death. (Proverbs 14:12, 16:25)
Instead of humans fixing the world’s problems, Jesus warned:
21 For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. 22 And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened. (Matthew 24:21-22)
As far as the ecological situation, the Bible shows that it will get much worse:
8 Then the fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and power was given to him to scorch men with fire. 9 And men were scorched with great heat, and they blasphemed the name of God who has power over these plagues; and they did not repent and give Him glory. (Revelation 16:8-9)
However, the above prophecy is for several years into the future–we are not too near that yet.
But with international efforts to push towards globalism, often now without the USA, the world will create something claimed to fulfill the vision of Pope Francis, Europe, and the UN yet it will not bring lasting peace–it will end in death and destruction.
The Bible is clear that a new world will then come. But that will be the millennial Kingdom of God, not the contents of Laudato Si.
