Many American academics want the next USA president to be ‘globally-engaged’:

Ten university presidents and numerous professors have signed a statement calling on the next U.S. President to enact policies that make the country more “globally engaged.”

“The undersigned individuals, representatives of the foreign policy, national security, peacebuilding, and education fields, believe the United States is stronger and safer when we recognize that we are part of an interconnected, interdependent global community,” the statement, issued in conjunction with the Association of International Educators, asserts before urging the next president to “pursue policies and practices that embrace diversity within and outside our borders.”

“Our next president must value diversity…[and] honor our tradition as a nation of immigrants.”

The letter goes on to suggest that the “health” of the nation will depend upon the next president’s ability to foster “global cooperation” and acknowledge that “epidemics don’t recognize national borders” while “our climate is shared by all.”

Finally, the joint statement urges the nation’s next leader to “value diversity in our nation and in our world,” saying the president’s willingness to embrace the “global community” is necessary for national prosperity.

It’s the key choice of the 2016 election – nationalism versus globalism.

And this existential choice goes beyond shaping who is the next president or determining the future of the United States. It has deep spiritual and eternal significance for all believers, leaders of the Christian faith explain.

They say it’s the new Tower of Babel.

“Globalism is not a biblical concept,” says pastor Carl Gallups. Gallups, an expert in eschatology and author of the new book “When the Lion Roars: Understanding the Implications of Ancient Prophecies for Our Time.” He argues there is deep spiritual significance in the contemporary push for one world government.

“The only attempts at achieving ‘globalism’ presented in the Bible were destroyed or dispersed by the Lord,” he said. “We are also informed through warnings of biblical end time prophecies that a globalist spirit and leader will be the defining characteristic of the days of great tribulation that are to come upon the whole Earth. And this ‘Antichrist’ system, which includes globalism, is presented to us as the epitome of evil which is ultimately destroyed by the second coming.”

Though it is not seen as popular in the mainstream media, Gallups argues the principle of nationalism is actually a deeply biblical idea “strongly supported in the Scriptures.”

He says separate nations provide a kind of “relief valve” for the oppressed to flee to. The United States in particular has served long served as a refuge for people around the world.

Now, the USA is going to be destroyed (Daniel 11:39)–its debt (cf. Habakkuk 2:6-8) and sins (cf. Jeremiah 9:13,14a,16) will be reason.

Globalism, per se, will not be the cause. Sin will be.

But no matter which person becomes the next president of the United States, it will happen.

As far as the two leading presidential candidates go, notice the following:

On the one side is, maybe, a rapist. On the other side is certainly a warmonger. The next US President will be one of those two people. Each voter must make his/her own choice: either drink possibly cyanide, or drink definitely arsenic. Those are the only two choices left in America’s ‘democracy’. Barack Obama, Pope Francis (see Laudato Si: Pope’s Agenda or Kingdom of God?), and Ban Ki-Moon (see United Nations: Humankind’s Last Hope or New World Order?) are all globalists. Many in the leading political parties in the USA are globalists, as are many in the European Union.

Globalists want to redefine society based on the human reasoning of part of the elite ruling classes. They believe that more government controls and merging religious views are major keys to this.

Some seem to believe, however, that the ‘nationalist’ Donald Trump, may better serve their agenda (see ‘Why Europe Secretly Roots For Donald Trump’?). If Donald Trump wins, he seemingly will be a type of lightening rod for the rise of the globalist, Babylonian Beast power.

Bible prophecy will come to pass.

The European ‘Beast of the Sea’ will rise up (Revelation 13:1), destroy the USA and its Anglo-Saxon descended allies (Daniel 11:39), work with Mystery Babylon for a time (Revelation 17) and be worshiped by the world:

3 … And all the world marveled and followed the beast. 4 So they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?”

5 And he was given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies, and he was given authority to continue for forty-two months. 6 Then he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme His name, His tabernacle, and those who dwell in heaven. 7 It was granted to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And authority was given him over every tribe, tongue, and nation. 8 All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

9 If anyone has an ear, let him hear. 10 He who leads into captivity shall go into captivity; he who kills with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints. (Revelation 13:3-9)

1 Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and talked with me, saying to me, “Come, I will show you the judgment of the great harlot who sits on many waters, 2 with whom the kings of the earth committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth were made drunk with the wine of her fornication.”

MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.

6 I saw the woman, drunk with the blood of the saints and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus. And when I saw her, I marveled with great amazement. (Revelation 17:1-6)

The Bible shows that parts of the globalist agenda will be implemented. For a time many will think that humankind has solved its major issues (cf. The ‘Peace Deal’ of Daniel 9:27).

But it will bring ‘sudden destruction’ on many (cf. 1 Thessalonians 5:3), and ultimately be destroyed itself (cf. Daniel 2:44; Revelation 17:14).

The next presidential election will not solve this. Only the Kingdom of God is the Solution.
