CGPFK’s Ronald Weinland Again Falsely Declares Jesus Will Return on May, 27, 2012
VS.
In a written post yesterday, CGPFK’s Ronald Weinland declared the following:
God clearly and mightily foretold the outcome of our time right now…
By the end of 2008, God ended all His warnings to mankind. The history of 6,000 years of testimony—of God’s true word—of His true witness to mankind, about mankind, had been fully established. And since the end of 2008, “God’s final witness” of that 6,000-year record is being fully established—fully recorded for all time through unfolding events that culminate on May 27, 2012…
In two short months, the world will be thrust into the seventh and final phase of this end-time. This period will be marked by well over fifty percent of all Bible prophecy being fulfilled…
God first revealed to His two end-time witnesses, His final two prophets that His Son would return to this earth in a second-coming as King of kings on May 27, 2012. That revelation gave way to numerous other revelations concerning end-time prophetic events. But anyone who hears of this, in the world or in the Church that was scattered, considers this to be absurd, presumptuous, arrogant, and filled with self- aggrandizement.
Also in his letter, he went over some world events of possible prophetic interest–and while certain events are aligning with biblical prophecy, he has confused the beginning of sorrows with the Great Tribulation, and the end is not yet (Matthew 24:6) and God’s warning is not finished (cf. Matthew 24:14). Perhaps Ron Weinland made this post as he hopes to get a lot of media attention like the false Harold Camping did–and even if Ronald Weinland gets more publicity, he and his followers will once again be shown to be wrong like Harold Camping was (more on him can be found in the article Harold Camping’s Teachings About the End of the World Do Not Agree with the Bible).
For those unfamiliar with him, Ron Weinland was a minister in the United Church of God who left, became unitarian, and declared himself a prophet. Yet, Ronald Weinland blames others for being presumptuous, arrogant, and filled with self- aggrandizement.
The Bible teaches this about presumptuous prophets:
…when a prophet speaks in the name of the LORD, if the thing does not happen or come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD has not spoken; the prophet has spoken it presumptuously; you shall not be afraid of him (Deuteronomy 18:22).
Concerning his second book 2008 – God’s Final Witness, Ronald Weinland declared: in 2006
From now until the latter part of 2008, many prophecies are going to begin to be fulfilled, especially the Seven Thunders of the Book of Revelation, which the apostle John saw but was restricted from recording. Those thunders are revealed in this book, as well as detailed accounts of the final three and one-half years of man’s self-rule on earth, which are recorded in the account of the Seventh Seal of Revelation.
Some of these prophecies concern the demise of the United States over the next two years, which will be followed by man’s final world war. (http://www.the-end.com/ 11/26/06).
Of course, the USA, five years later, is still around and the final world war has not happened and cannot for some years from now. Ron Weinland also publicly declared that the USA would be nuked in 2008 or he would stop preaching and admit he was false–he did not (details are in the article Concerns About Ronald Weinland’s Church of God-Preparing for the Kingdom of God).
His 2008 – God’s Final Witness book actually stated, amongst other falsehoods, the following:
It will be revealed in a very short time whether I am God’s prophet or not, as well as whether scattered Church leaders are God’s ministers any longer or not. As stated in a previous chapter, either one of these is true or neither is true.
To make it absolutely clear, my petition covers more in regard to the scattered ministers. The most notable among them will be those who die toward the beginning. However, every minister who was scattered, who fails to repent early on and return to God (with me, as God’s minister, teaching them) will die during the final three and one-half years of great tribulation. They will not be in the first resurrection, and they will not see the millennial reign of God’s Kingdom on earth.
The most notable deaths early on, which are yet to come to pass, will be the two remaining television presenters in the Living (p. 107) Church of God. The sound of this thunder will be intensified by the early deaths of the leaders of the Philadelphia Church of God, the Restored Church of God and the Church of the Great God. Then, those in the largest scattered group, who think they have escaped, will be lifted up to believe that God is with them because they are so filled with pride. But, when that happens, the deaths of many in the United Church of God will begin.
How much more specific can one be to show that he is either of God, and indeed His prophet, or someone who has clearly stepped over the line to be dealt with by God in a speedy manner. Time will tell! And, you don’t have long to wait! (p. 108).
The above simply has not come to pass. Since Ronald Weinland declared that the Great Tribulation began on December 14, 2008, it is not possible that they died toward the beginning as nearly 3 of that 3 1/2 year period is already over. None of those leaders died. And even if they all were to die now, his prophecy that the notable ones would die toward the beginning still was false.
As far as his statement about others being filled with self- aggrandizement, Ronald Weinland declared himself one of God’s two witnesses, declared himself an apostle, declared himself the Elijah to come, etc. It is Ronald Weinland who has repeatedly gone on public record to try to flatter himself. He is not God’s prophet or witness.
Sadly, Ron Weinland is one of many who are fulling the following prophecy:
But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction. And many will follow their destructive ways, because of whom the way of truth will be blasphemed. By covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words; for a long time their judgment has not been idle, and their destruction does not slumber (2 Peter 2:1-3).
Ronald Weinland has always been a false prophet and the end is not on May 27, 2012–Jesus will not return on May 27, 2012. Those who believe Ron Weinland are deceived.
On the other hand, those who do not believe that the end will come are also deceived. The Bible warns against people who do not believe that the end will come:
…knowing this first: that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts, and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation.” For this they willfully forget: that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of water and in the water, by which the world that then existed perished, being flooded with water. But the heavens and the earth which are now preserved by the same word, are reserved for fire until the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men (2 Peter 3:3-7).
And as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man: They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all. Likewise as it was also in the days of Lot: They ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built; but on the day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all. Even so will it be in the day when the Son of Man is revealed (Luke 17:26-30).
The end will come. The end will come soon. But the end is not yet:
4 And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. 6 And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
While the beginning of sorrows seems to have begun that JESUS (not Ron Weinland) spoke of, Jesus also said just because of the sorrows, the “end is not yet.”
There simply are too many events that have to happen. And while world events are aligning with Bible prophecy as I so often post on this page, we still do NOT have the seven-year treaty of Daniel 9:27, there is no clear King of the North (even though I have someone as a possible candidate for that), there is no clear King of the South (though there are calls in the Islamic world for one), etc. (for more details see, When Will the Great Tribulation Begin? 2011, 2012, or 2013?). World events are pointing to the fulfillment of these are other biblical prophecies, but until some more events are fulfilled, the Great Tribulation cannot begin and Jesus cannot return.
Jesus will NOT return in 2012.

Concerns About Ronald Weinland’s Church of God-Preparing for the Kingdom of God Ronald Weinland falsely claims to be one of the two witnesses God is raising up, that the Great Tribulation began on December 14, 2008, and that Jesus will return on May 27, 2012. Why does the Bible show that Ron Weinland is a false prophet? He has other views which show he is not part of the Church of God.?
When Will the Great Tribulation Begin? 2011, 2012, or 2013? Can the Great Tribulation begin today? What happens before the Great Tribulation in the “beginning of sorrows”?
