David Kuplian: Americans taking antidepressants while their government wants to classify those with Judeo-Christian ethics as extremists and potential terrorists

Notice some comments published about some of what is worrisome in the USA:
Award-winning journalist David Kupelian starts by urging people to consider the current American landscape: Waves of immigrants pouring into across the southern border while the government plans to import thousands of Syrian Muslim refugees. Racial tensions and crime skyrocketing. Radical wealth redistribution. An unworkable healthcare system. Big Brother spying. All proof that Barack Obama’s promised “fundamental transformation” of America is well underway.
But then he paints another picture: According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 130 million Americans depend on some sort of mind-altering substance to get through life. Some 110 million Americans have sexually transmitted diseases. Families are disintegrating. One in four middle-aged women is taking antidepressants. We’ve become a nation of addicts, he says.
While the first group of problems are nationwide maladies, and the latter are individual troubles, Kupelian contends there’s an unrecognized cause-and-effect connection between the two.
“Everything is dealt with by drugging people,” Kupelian said. “You can’t just take terrible psychological, spiritual problems, people having visions, seeing things, horrible rage where they want to kill people – you can’t just mask those symptoms with drugs and then be surprised when they end up as a school shooter or some other terrible effect comes of this. We’re very foolish in thinking we’re going to deal in such a superficial way with these problems and not have repercussions.”
Even more controversially, says Kupelian, not only are psychiatrists pushing too many drugs, but the government under Obama is actually brainwashing Americans.
The forbidding subject of brainwashing “is not so arcane as we think,” Kupelian told Noory’s audience. Referring to the analysis by renowned experts on wartime brainwashing, Kupelian explained that those same principles of pressure and intimidation were being used, albeit in “a very attenuated, stretched out, and mild way,” by various players in and out of government today.
One simple example from within government? The income tax, which Kupelian suggested is not really about raising revenue, but about keeping the public afraid.
“People are afraid of the government,” he noted. “Why? Because they’re afraid of the IRS … It’s not about money. It’s about maintaining a constant base level of fear and anxiety in the public.”
Even hatred – which doesn’t necessarily feel like fear – of the IRS works, according to Kupelian, because hatred is a weakness, not a strength. He noted many conservatives despise Obama’s IRS for targeting tea party and other right-leaning groups for extra scrutiny, but he believes all that hatred actually benefits the agency.
“That anger morphs into… fear and anxiety, which becomes compliance at tax time,” he said. “So I’m saying they’re not worried about people fearing them and hating them. They want that; that’s how they operate.”
Some Americans are able to resist the brainwashing and fundamental transformation at the individual level, but Kupelian says the Obama administration tends to try to cast such people as dangerous security threats.
“During the Obama administration, we had a situation where the Department of Homeland Security in 2009 was declaring that pro-lifers and constitutionalists and people that had a problem with illegal immigration and even returning war veterans were classified as ‘potential right-wing extremists’ and possible domestic terrorists.”
Although the DHS eventually rescinded that classification after widespread public outcry, it strikes an ominous tone for anyone who may be thinking about criticizing the administration. Indeed, just this week, the Obama administration has launched a whole new campaign to target “right-wing extremists.”
“If they can call a normal person with traditional Judeo-Christian, World War II, traditional American values a potential terrorist, what is to keep them from saying, ‘Because you are critical of the government, you’re anti-government, that sounds dangerously like a dissident.’”
Not only are conservatives treated as potentially dangerous, but some like to imply those on the right are mentally ill. Kupelian pointed out that left-wing social scientists have published numerous “studies” purporting to show that conservatives have malformed brains (an “enlarged amygdala,” the part of the brain that registers fear). New Obama czar will hunt ‘right-wing’ extremists
Americans seen as possibly more threatening than Islamic jihadists
Just two weeks after it announced a plan to globalize local police departments through the “Strong Cities Network,” the Obama administration has added a new tool in its fight against “violent extremism.”
A new position within the Justice Department – yet to be filled – will focus on investigating lone-wolf domestic terrorists or “extremists.”
The person who heads this new effort will target extremists who plan mass shootings, hold racist, bigoted or anti-government views or see themselves as “sovereign citizens.”
The new position at the Justice Department, dubbed the “domestic terrorism counsel,” will serve as the main point of contact for U.S. attorney offices nationwide and will identify trends across cases, help shape strategy and “analyze legal gaps that need to be closed,” said Assistant Attorney General John Carlin. …

Before going further, let me comment that my clinical experience suggests that many are prescribed pharmaceutical mind-altering medications when other, safer, options are often available.
Having said that, my focus is on another part of the report, the part that says that those who hold positions with Judeo-Christian values and/or who do not always support the moves of the federal government of the USA are more and more being considered as extremists and potential terrorists.
This latter position is NOT just limited to those in the federal government. Many ‘mainstream’ journalist convey this. Additionally, I saw a documentary years ago where some ‘expert’ from outside the government claimed that any who advocate any form of the millennium reign as potential terrorists. And I would also add that teaching any form of the millennial hope is the only doctrine associated with ‘Antichrist’ in the current Catechism of the Catholic Church:
676 The Antichrist’s deception already begins to take shape in the world every time the claim is made to realize within history that messianic hope which can only be realized beyond history through the eschatological judgment. The Church has rejected even modified forms of this falsification of the kingdom to come under the name of millenarianism, especially the “intrinsically perverse” political form of a secular messianism. (Catechism of the Catholic Church. Imprimatur Potest +Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger. Doubleday, NY 1995, p. 194).
The time will come when a temporal peace will be had (Daniel 9:27; see also The ‘Peace Deal’ of Daniel 9:27), but we in the Continuing Church of God expect to publicly warn about the dangers of it as the Bible shows it will end in disaster (Daniel 11:31-43).
The Bible warns that a dangerous time when peace and safety will be proclaimed:
3 For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape. 4 But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief. 5 You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness. 6 Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober. (1 Thessalonians 5:3-7)
The ‘they’ above is likely referring to USA leaders who will believe that the USA is safe, when in reality it will not be. How come the USA? Well, the following prophecy shows that the USA will be destroyed:
36 “Then the king shall do according to his own will: he shall exalt and magnify himself above every god, shall speak blasphemies against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the wrath has been accomplished; for what has been determined shall be done. 37 He shall regard neither the God of his fathers nor the desire of women, nor regard any god; for he shall exalt himself above them all. 38 But in their place he shall honor a god of fortresses; and a god which his fathers did not know he shall honor with gold and silver, with precious stones and pleasant things. 39 Thus he shall act against the strongest fortresses with a foreign god, which he shall acknowledge, and advance its glory; and he shall cause them to rule over many, and divide the land for gain. (Daniel 11:36-39)
The ‘king’ above is the King of the North (Daniel 11:40). The King of the North is a European leader. And verse 39 above shows that he will go against the place on earth with the strongest fortresses, defeat the many there, and divide that land for gain. Well, in the 21st century, that would have to be a battle against the USA as it has the ‘strongest fortress’ (strongest military) today, along with in all likelihood its Anglo-Saxon descended allies like Canada and the United Kingdom.
Although the USA has long claimed to have freedom of speech and freedom of religion as the first amendment to its constitution calls for that, in recent years we have witnessed more and more restrictions on the free exercise of religion and more restrictions on speech.
I would add that this is NOT LIMITED TO THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION as it was the George W. Bush Administration that got the so-called Patriot Act enacted, which basically gives the federal government great discretion in monitoring communications and determining who a potential terrorist may be. This, combined with certain court decisions and acts by the Obama Administration, indicate that the USA will one day attempt to stop the work of proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom.
Jesus warned:
4 … the night is coming when no one can work. (John 9:4, NKJV)
4… the night cometh, when no man can work (John 9:4 KJV)
In a October 23, 1980 co-worker letter, Herbert Armstrong wrote:
The Bible warns us the time is just ahead when NO MAN CAN WORK—in the Lord’s Work. We must sacrifice now as never before for this Work that we may FINISH the Work that Christ has called us to do. Pray as never before, for this Work.
We in the Continuing Church of God expect to warn about the biblical risks associated with a deal we will consider fulfills Daniel 9:27, warn about the rise of the King of the North, warn what will happen to the USA (see also Will the Anglo-Saxon Nations be Divided and Have People Taken as Slaves?), warn what will happen to those in the Middle East and North Africa (see also Is the Future King of the South Rising Up?), warn of the dangers of the ecumenical and interfaith movements (see also Will the Interfaith Movement Lead to Peace or Sudden Destruction?), and declare that the solution is national repentance and the return of Jesus and the millennial kingdom of God.
This will displease various ones, including religious and political leaders, and persecution will happen (see also Persecutions by Church and State).
The Prophet Amos was inspired to record the following:
11 “Behold, the days are coming,” says the Lord God,
“That I will send a famine on the land,
Not a famine of bread,
Nor a thirst for water,
But of hearing the words of the Lord.
12 They shall wander from sea to sea,
And from north to east;
They shall run to and fro, seeking the word of the Lord,
But shall not find it. (Amos 8:11-12)
Related to this, in a sermon on November 27, 1982 titled “U.S. of Europe is Coming,” Herbert Armstrong stated:
“Anyway this whole United States of Europe, when it goes together, is going to trigger nuclear World War III. Now let me tell you what else it’s going to do. It’s going to END OUR WORK! OUR WORK WILL BE THROUGH of getting the gospel to the world. That is, very shortly after it goes into force and effect; because they will move in such a way that it will end it. And then I’ll tell you what will happen. As you read here in Amos, the 8th chapter and verse 11 of Amos. Notice something I put in the article Who is the King of the North? back in 2011:
The Bible warns:
12 And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the Lord, and shall not find it. (Amos 8:12, KJV)
The above will apparently happen after Daniel 11:33 is fulfilled, but portions may begin as early as Daniel 11:28. With FCC “net neutrality” rules (they were approved to start to use in late 2010), we are getting close to that time when governments will be too offended by the truth and some will take steps to stop it from being proclaimed. Perhaps under the guise of “neutrality,” perhaps under the guise of “The Patriot Act,” perhaps under the guise of “public welfare” or national security, something will be done to stop perhaps all of the organized media efforts to proclaim biblical truths.
Furthermore, on August 11, 2011, the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom stated that he wanted Scotland Yard to consider stopping suspected rioters from having the ability to utilize “social media” that involved the internet (see UK’s Cameron May Call Out the Troops and Restrict Social Media)–thus the idea of interference with the ability to proclaim the gospel that way may fulfill what the Bible and Herbert W. Armstrong understood, just prior to the start of the Great Tribulation.
The work may be stopped by government officials (like on the internet, television, etc.) and persecutions began because people of the holy covenant are warning the world of the results of their sins (which they will not want pointed out) and teaching that the King of the North is fulfilling these prophecies in Daniel 11. The faithful may be saying things that are not “politically correct” to the point that one or more governments will take action (especially if we are saying, and I expect to help do this, that a certain individual is the King of the North and that he will invade and destroy the USA, Canada, United Kingdom, etc.).
On January 12, 2013, I wrote:
Now at “the appointed time,” something will trigger the King of the North going towards the south:
29 At the appointed time he shall return and go toward the south; but it shall not be like the former or the latter. 30 For ships from Cyprus shall come against him; therefore he shall be grieved, and return in rage against the holy covenant, and do damage. So he shall return and show regard for those who forsake the holy covenant (Daniel 11:29-30).
30 For warships from western coastlands will scare him off, and he will withdraw and return home. But he will vent his anger against the people of the holy covenant and reward those who forsake the covenant. (Daniel 11:30 New Living Translation 1996 Greg Laurie).
Note: the Hebrew term translated as “Cyprus” in the NKJV is somewhat of a mistranslation. The KJV uses the term Chittim which means “Western lands.” Hence the King of the North will apparently be temporarily stopped by a Western naval power. A similar passage is in Numbers 24:24, which according to Numbers 24:14, is for the latter times–and in it the Western naval power troubles descendants of Asshur/Assyria (many of whom now seem to be residing in Europe, see Germany’s Assyrian Roots Throughout History, see also Anglo – America in Prophecy & the Lost Tribes of Israel for more of a discussion of Numbers 24:24). Warning the world that the King of the North is fulfilling Bible prophecy when he does this is likely to be part of the “short work” of Romans 9:28 that God will accomplish through His most faithful.
Here is a Catholic writing related to this passage in Daniel 11 and what follows:
It seems he will probably be defeated by by certain people of the Western nations, who will give him a naval battle…(11:30). But he will soon recover from this defeat. (Huchedé P. History of Antichrist. Imprimatur Edward Charles Fabre, Bishop of Montreal, First English edition 1884. 1976 reprint from TAN Books, Rockford (IL), p. 22)
Despite some claims, notice that a major battle is not shown to have occurred in verse 30; it may only involve a show of naval force. Thus, that verse may possibly indicate that this is when the European Beast power may temporarily make a deceptive deal with a major Western power (probably the United States) which will ultimately allow it to destroy the USA and its English-speaking allies (see also verse 39). …
The King of the North will probably attempt to learn more about how to eliminate them by being nice to apostate members (those who “forsake the holy covenant”)–apparently he attempts to get them to betray true Christians (Matthew 24:10). It strikes me as important that although a naval power stops the King of the North momentarily, the King of the North becomes apparently more enraged with the people of the holy covenant than the naval power.
Why would this be?
Most likely this occurs because the people of the holy covenant are proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom (Matthew 24:14, as that immediately precedes “the end”) and teaching that the King of the North is fulfilling prophecies in Daniel 11. It is my belief that after the peace deal in Daniel 9:27/11:23 has been made and/or confirmed by “the prince to come,” that the group that best represents the “sect of the Nazarenes” (the remnant of the Philadelphia era of the church per Revelation 3:7–11) in the 21st century will begin to publicly identify the person who confirmed the deal (“the prince”) as the one who fulfilled Daniel 9:27/11:23-24. This apparently enrages the King of the North so much that he initially tries to eliminate these people through political pressure and selected persecution. (Thiel B. The King of the North will arise. January 12, 2013).
The second chapter of Amos also warns:
11 I raised up some of your sons as prophets,
And some of your young men as Nazirites.
Is it not so, O you children of Israel?”
Says the Lord.
12 ‘But you gave the Nazirites wine to drink,
And commanded the prophets saying,
‘Do not prophesy!’ (Amos 2:11-12)
God says He will raise prophets, but that some will not want them to prophesy.
Notice something from Isaiah:
8 Now go, write it before them on a tablet,
And note it on a scroll,
That it may be for time to come,
Forever and ever:
9 That this is a rebellious people,
Lying children,
Children who will not hear the law of the Lord;
10 Who say to the seers, “Do not see,”
And to the prophets, “Do not prophesy to us right things;
Speak to us smooth things, prophesy deceits.11 Get out of the way,
Turn aside from the path,
Cause the Holy One of Israel
To cease from before us.”12 Therefore thus says the Holy One of Israel:
“Because you despise this word,
And trust in oppression and perversity,
And rely on them,
13 Therefore this iniquity shall be to you
Like a breach ready to fall,
A bulge in a high wall,
Whose breaking comes suddenly, in an instant. (Isaiah 30:8-13)
Notice that Isaiah shows that it was for the future (‘time to come’) when people will want prophets to only prophesy smooth things–deceit instead of the word of God, as the people will not wish to obey the word of God. Is not, in many ways, the USA trusting now in perversity? Is not trying to stifle those who hold to Judeo-Christian values oppression?
The Bible also shows that Philadelpian Christian persecution will happen (Daniel 11:28-35; see also Persecutions by Church and State). the USA will not do well (Daniel 11:39), nor will later the King of the South confederation (Daniel 11:40-43; Ezekiel 30:2-9).
We are seeing signs that government leaders will support speech suppression and may use many methods to accomplish something that the Bible warns about.
But despite efforts to stop it, 3 1/2 years after the start of the Great Tribulation, Jesus will return and establish the millennial kingdom of God.
