Islamic terrorist strikes US factory in France

An Islamic terrorist decapitated someone while attempting to blow up the Air Products & Chemicals’ factory in France:

French President Francois Hollande said a suspect was arrested and identified in what he called a “terrorist” attack and explosion at a U.S. gas factory that killed at least one person in the country’s southeast.

French Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve said the suspect, identified as Yassine Salhi, 35, a married father, had lived in the Lyon area and been under surveillance between 2006 and 2008.

Salhi was known to have had links to Salafist Muslims, but investigators said they did not find evidence that he was involved in previous terrorist attacks.

The attack occurred at a factory owned by Air Products, a U.S.-based industrial gases technology company, on the outskirts of the southeastern city of Lyon. …

Investigators are examining flags with Arabic inscriptions that were found at the gas factory, to see if they match slogans of the Islamic State militant group.A human head was also found pinned to the gates of the factory, reportedly accompanied by a banner or flag with Arabic writing.

“It is a terror attack, no doubt about it,” Hollande told a news conference in Brussels before returning to France. He learned about the attack with German Chancellor Angela Merkel as both leaders attended a European Union summit in Brussels. …

Attacks six months ago

It also came nearly six months after Islamist attacks in and around Paris, at the headquarters of the satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo and at a kosher supermarket, bookending a three-day seige of violence that left 20 people dead, including three attackers.

France has a high proportion of people that have gone to fight alongside Islamists in Iraq and Syria and has been on alert for possible attacks on its soil since the Charlie Hebdo attacks. …

Earlier this week, the country passed a controversial new spying law granting sweeping powers to snoop on citizens.

Several other terror-related attacks occurred Friday, including in Tunisia, where officials said at least 27 people were killed in attacks at a hotel along the Mediterranean coast, and in Kuwait City, where a suicide bomber blew himself up during prayers at a Shi’ite mosque, killing more than a dozen people. http://www.voanews.com/content/terror-attack-france-gas-factory/2838039.html

June 26, 2015One person was decapitated and two others wounded in an apparent terror attack on a U.S.-owned factory in France, President Francois Hollande said Friday.

A car crashed through the gates of the Air Products plant in Saint-Quentin Fallavier, southeastern France, shortly after 10 a.m. local time (4 a.m. ET). It was followed by an explosion.

Hollande said a suspect had been arrested and there was “no doubt” that the attacker — possibly acting with an accomplice — intended to blow up the entire plant. …

Hollande said the decapitated body was found with “inscriptions” on it and that the attack bore the hallmarks of terrorism, adding that security has been stepped up at sensitive sites in France.

Despite the ‘war on terror’ that US President George Bush declared back in 2001 (which he indicated would probably take about ten years to complete), terrorism is not over. Nor will it be. The fact that 27 were also killed in Tunisia, plus the incident in Kuwait, shows that terrorists are determined to continue with their horrific agendas.

As far as the company that was hit in France today, here is some general information about it:

Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. is an international corporation whose principal business is selling gases and chemicals for industrial uses. Air Products’ headquarters is in Allentown, Pennsylvania, in the Lehigh Valley region of Pennsylvania, in the United States. …

Air Products serves customers in technology, energy, healthcare, food and industrial markets worldwide with atmospheric industrial gases (mainly oxygen, nitrogen, argon, hydrogen and carbon dioxide), process and specialty gases, performance materials and chemical intermediates.

Air Products produces semiconductor materials, refinery hydrogen, natural gas liquefaction, epoxy additives, gas cabinets, advanced coatings and adhesives. It is also notedas addressing the hydrogen fuel cell economy through hydrogen fueling stations as well as its personal care chemicals business.

Air Products also provided the liquid hydrogen and liquid oxygen fuel for the Space Shuttle External Tank. Air Products has had a working relationship with NASA for 50 years and has supplied the liquid hydrogen used for every Space Shuttle launch and the Mercury and Apollo missions.

As regular readers of this page are aware, the Bible shows that terrorism is prophesied:

14 ‘But if you do not obey Me, and do not observe all these commandments, 15 and if you despise My statutes, or if your soul abhors My judgments, so that you do not perform all My commandments, but break My covenant, 16 I also will do this to you: I will even appoint terror over you, wasting disease and fever which shall consume the eyes and cause sorrow of heart. And you shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it. 17 I will set My face against you, and you shall be defeated by your enemies. Those who hate you shall reign over you, and you shall flee when no one pursues you. (Leviticus 26:14-17)

25 The sword shall destroy outside; There shall be terror within (Deuteronomy 32:25)

12 “Cry and wail, son of man; For it will be against My people, Against all the princes of Israel. Terrors including the sword will be against My people; Therefore strike your thigh. (Ezekiel 21:12)

12 Behold, these are the ungodly,Who are always at ease; They increase in riches…19 Oh, how they are brought to desolation, as in a moment! They are utterly consumed with terrors. (Psalms 73:12,19)

25 Because you disdained all my counsel, And would have none of my rebuke, 26 I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your terror comes, 27 When your terror comes like a storm, And your destruction comes like a whirlwind, When distress and anguish come upon you. (Proverbs 1:25-27)

5 Also they are afraid of height, And of terrors in the way (Ecclesiastes 12:5).

Because of increasing terrorism (and yes, terrorism has been increasing, see State Department: 35% increase in terrorist activities), more and more in and outside of the Arab world have proposed for some type of Arabic/Islamic confederation to better combat the problem.

The Bible tells of a time when a confederation of people in North Africa and the Middle East will get together (Ezekiel 30:2-8) and be part of something led by the final King of the South (Daniel 11:40-43). For a time this may be somewhat supportive of a temporary peace deal (cf. Daniel 9:27; see also The ‘Peace Deal’ of Daniel 9:27).

However, the Bible also shows that this power will be involved in one or more deceptive deals (Daniel 11:27; Psalm 83:3-8). Deals that will not end well for the USA (Daniel 11:39) nor its Anglo-Saxon allies (Psalm 84:3-8). Furthermore, after that, the Bible shows that this North Africa and Middle East power will itself be defeated (Daniel 11:40-43; Ezekiel 30:2-8).

Anyway, terrorist incidents in Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East (all of which just happened again) are setting the stage for many in the world to propose the type of King of the South confederation that the Bible tells of (Daniel 11:40-43). Because few understand biblical prophecies, they do not realize that this will end in disaster for the USA, its Anglo-Saxon allies, and the nations that stick with the King of the South per Daniel 11:39-43.
