Temple Institute condemns Jared Kushner’s support of the ‘deal of the century’

The Temple Institute had the following in its latest newsletter:

Outrageous: Jared Kushner Promotes Arab Anti-Israel Temple Mount Propaganda!: In an interview with Egyptian TV, President Trump’s son-in-law and advisor, Jared Kushner praises the Deal of the Century, attempting to gain Arab support for the plan. At 2:30 into the interview (which we have excerpted here), he begins to discuss the Temple Mount, and, incredibly, endorses the constant anti-Israel and anti-semitic lies and propaganda that Hamas and Iran and Turkey and the Muslim Brotherhood and the Kingdom of Jordan promulgate on a daily basis, in their attempts to undermine Israel’s sovereignty over the Mount and incite Muslims to violence.

Jared Kushner is US President Donald Trump’s son-in-law and was the major architect of the Trump Administration’s peace proposal between the Israelis and Palestinians.

The Palestinians have reject it, as have the Arab League, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Turkey (see ZH: Trump Admin “Threatened Me” After Rejecting Peace Plan: Erdogan; COGwriter: The USA will not like what Turkey will end up doing) and the European Union (see BIN: Why America Might Want to Prepare for Devastating Natural Disaster Following Trump’s Peace Deal).

In addition at least one Protestant writer, the World Council of Churches (see Trump Administration ‘deal of the century’ peace plan has features consistent with biblical prophecy, but . . .) and some Jewish leaders have rejected it (see BIN: Why America Might Want to Prepare for Devastating Natural Disaster Following Trump’s Peace Deal).

It was, however, endorsed by the current Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his chief political rival Benny Gantz (‘Trump Unveils Mideast Peace Plan’) and some other Israeli politicians (e.g. BIN: ‘Trump’s Peace Deal is Akin to Decree of King Cyrus Paving Path For Third Temple’ says Israeli Politician).

The deal itself is complicated and looks difficult to implement. Here is the official Vision for Peace Conceptual Map that the Trump Administration released related to its plan:

There are underground tunnels to connect the lands designated for the Palestinians, and many see that as a problem. It also gives the Palestinians the right to have a capital in East Jerusalem. Yet, the Palestinians do not believe that the deal treats them well, and there are specifics in the plan that seem to put them on a type of probation–which they also seemingly do not like.

That being said, the Bible tells of a temporary peace deal coming to the region in the Book of Daniel:

26 And the people of the prince who is to come Shall destroy the city and the sanctuary. The end of it shall be with a flood, And till the end of the war desolations are determined. 27 Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week; But in the middle of the week He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate, Even until the consummation, which is determined, Is poured out on the desolate (Daniel 9:26-27).

The biblically-prophesied “prince” to confirm it will be a European leader who is later called the King of the North in Daniel 11:40. The ‘one week’ has generally been understood by prophecy watchers to mean a seven year deal, that is broken in the middle of it (after 3 1/2 years). This break is also confirmed in the following scripture:

31 And forces shall be mustered by him, and they shall defile the sanctuary fortress; then they shall take away the daily sacrifices, and place there the abomination of desolation. (Daniel 11:31)

The “him” is the European King of the North. He may move to Jerusalem to claim to enforce peace, but according to Jesus, that should serve as a warning that it is time to flee:

20 But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know that its desolation is near. 21 Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those who are in the midst of her depart, and let not those who are in the country enter her.

Notice also that the armies surrounding Jerusalem will be a signal that it is time to flee. But, sadly, most Christians will not accept that sign, probably because of lukewarmness and claims that it is being done for peaceful reasons. As far as the Trump-Kushner ‘deal of the century’ goes, it is NOT the biblically prophesied deal. Though at least parts of it could be included in the deal that will happen.

Since the Palestinians have rejected the deal and the fact that peace deals tend mainly to come after wars, expect some type of a regional conflict in the area before the deal of Daniel 9:26-27 takes hold.

But, the fact that peace deals continue to be proposed in the area and the fact that the Bible prophesied a peace deal for that area, should help skeptics realize that the Bible is true and its prophecies will come to pass.

And yes, we are getting closer to the time that the Daniel 9:27 peace deal will be confirmed. But not yet.

Hal Lindsey’s book, ‘The Late Great Planet Earth’ is one of the sources pointed to. In this video, Dr. Thiel addresses scriptures related to Jerusalem as well as prophetic ones. Jerusalem, Donald Trump, and Prophecy On December 6, 2017, US President Donald Trump fulfilled a campaign promise related to the recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital. This brought anger, protests, and rockets from some Palestinians. It also brought condemnation from European allies–it has been claimed to be disruptive and even catastrophic. The Palestinian President (Mahmoud Abbas) said that this pronouncement eliminated the USA as being a fair mediator for a peace deal.
