On Friday evening, President Trump announced that Israel and Sudan have reached an agreement that will lead to establishing normalized relations between the two countries. The deal was finalized in a phone conference between the president, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Sudanese Prime Minister Abdalla Hamdok, and Transitional Council Head Abdel Fattah al-Burhan. …
Trump announced that there are currently five more countries that will be announcing normalization agreements with Israel. …
Is Saudi Arabia Next?
In his remarks, the president hinted that Saudi Arabia is considering a similar move.
“We have many countries as you know getting ready and I’m also sure you’ll see we also have Saudi Arabia in there very soon,” Trump said from the Oval Office. “I really believe that will happen too. And very good relations with Saudi Arabia. You’ll see something very special. This is very special. But we are going to be signing numerous countries in the not too distant future so that’ll be great.” …
Rabbi Winston explained that the Abraham Accords are presenting an unprecedented reality: Jews and Arabs praying side by side on the Temple Mount. Though perplexing to some, this phenomenon is consistent with a prediction made in Jewish literature concerning the Temple Mount in the end-of-days. Rabbi Winston cited a midrash brought in the book Pirke Eliyahu. In the midrash, the Bnei Keturah (sons of Keturah) come to the Temple Mount in the end of days. …
According to the Pirke Eliyahu, the Bnei Keturah will be friendly with the Jews in the end of days and will invite them to a contest on the Temple Mount similar to the contest held by Elijah the Prophet on the Carmel against the Priests of Baal. The Bnei Keturah and the Jews each bring a sacrifice. Whoever’s sacrifice is not accepted must convert to the other religion. Shockingly, the Midrash states that fire comes down from heaven and consumes the sacrifice of the Bnei Keturah, indicating that their sacrifice was accepted.
“This will be the final test of the Jewish people,” Rabbi Winston said. “Many will convert but a small contingent will call out ‘Shema yisrael, hashem elokenu, hashem echad’ (Hear O Israel, God is our Lord, God is one). They will go out into the desert. Messiah will be among them. 45 days later things turn around and in the end, it is clear that the Jews are God’s Chosen.”
“The midrash makes it seem that they were on a friendly basis to have such a dialogue,” Rabbi Winston said. “The fact that they call it the Abraham Accords is amazing. It is clear Divine Providence pointing right at this Midrash. No, God is not going to perform a miracle on the Temple Mount to get Muslims to convert to Jews. That is not a biblically-prophesied showdown for the area known as the Temple Mount.
Jews, as well as Muslims, need to fully accept Jesus, not Judaism–details on this, for both groups, is found in our free online book: Proof Jesus is the Messiah.
As far as Saudi Arabia goes, I really would not expect that nation to recognize Israel at this time for many reasons, including the fact that the USA presidential elections are next week.
Anyway, whether Saudi Arabia does or does not accept what Donald Trump and others have referred to as the Abraham Accords for recognition of Israel, the Bible shows that a temporary peace will come to the region:
26 And the people of the prince who is to come Shall destroy the city and the sanctuary. The end of it shall be with a flood, And till the end of the war desolations are determined. 27 Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week; But in the middle of the week He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate, Even until the consummation, which is determined, Is poured out on the desolate (Daniel 9:26-27).
The biblically-prophesied “prince” to confirm it will be a European leader who is the one who is later called the King of the North in Daniel 11:40. The ‘one week’ has generally been understood by prophecy watchers to mean a seven year deal, that is broken in the middle of it (after 3 1/2 years)–hence this is a temporary deal. The breaking of this deal is also confirmed in the following scripture:
31 And forces shall be mustered by him, and they shall defile the sanctuary fortress; then they shall take away the daily sacrifices, and place there the abomination of desolation. (Daniel 11:31)
The “him” is the European King of the North.
The Bible shows that a confederation of mainly Arabic peoples, with some from other Muslim dominated lands, will get together.
They will be led by one that Daniel 11 calls the King of the South:
40 “At the time of the end the king of the South shall attack him; and the king of the North shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter the countries, overwhelm them, and pass through. 41 He shall also enter the Glorious Land, and many countries shall be overthrown; but these shall escape from his hand: Edom, Moab, and the prominent people of Ammon. 42 He shall stretch out his hand against the countries, and the land of Egypt shall not escape. 43 He shall have power over the treasures of gold and silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt; also the Libyans and Ethiopians shall follow at his heels. (Daniel 11:40-41)
The late WCG evangelist Raymond McNair (who was also once part of GCG) identified some of the supporting people as follows:
Daniel 11 also mentions some of the Mideast peoples who will be involved in that struggle among the nations at the close of this age. The belligerents will include the “King of the North,” the leader of the European Union (or its final outgrowth, called the “Beast”). The “King of the South” (an Islamic leader—apparently from Egypt {or} some other Muslim state) is also referred to. The following lands/peoples are specifically mentioned: Egypt, the Holy Land (Israel/Palestine), the Ethiopians (modern Cushites, south of Egypt), Libya, Edom, Moab and Ammon. Many descendants of the ancient peoples known as Edomites or Idumeans now live in the West Bank, Jordan, Iraq, Turkey, Syria, Arabia, Yemen, the Persian Gulf states, etc. (McNair R. Notice that Raymond McNair has Arabia as supporting the coming King of the South, at least for a time.
Ezekiel 30 also points to the coming King of the South. Notice some who are prophesied there to support that leader:
5 Cush and Put, Lydia and all Arabia, Libya and the people of the covenant land will fall by the sword along with Egypt. (Ezekiel 30:5, NIV).
Hence, it looks like Saudi Arabia will one day support the coming King of the South–but may not do well for doing so.
The coming King of the South will not last in power very long.

UAE Deal: Peace in the Middle East?
On August 13, 2020, US President Donald Trump sent out a tweet over Twitter of something called the “Joint Statement of the United States, the State of Israel, and the United Arab Emirates;” it is also called the Abraham Accord(s). Many are excited about it as it is the first such deal between Israel and an Arab nation in 25 years. Others have denounced it as counter-productive. The United Arab Emirates has agreed essentially to recognize Israel if it does not proceed now with the annexations of Samaria, etc. it had planned. Although it is being hailed as a “historic peace deal,” a senior Palestinian official and negotiator named Saeb Erekat, said on August 14, 2020, “You are rewarding aggression. … You have destroyed, with this move, any possibility of peace between Palestinians and Israelis.” On the other hand, Breaking Israel News has suggested that this deal fulfills prophecies in Psalm 133:1 and Genesis 16:12 related to Ishmael and Jacob–is that true? Will peace come to the Middle East? Does Daniel 9:26-27 talk about a seven-year temporal peace deal coming to the Middle East? Will the prince, who becomes the King of the North, confirm this deal and break it after 3 1/2 years? How do we know that it is a European (a descendant from the peoples of the ancient Roman Empire) confirm it? Will most be deceived by false claims of a humanistic, Satanic, peace? Will many Christians not understand? Is the confirmation of a coming deal a countdown to the start of the Great Tribulation, the destruction of the USA (Daniel 11:39) and its Anglo-Saxon descended allies, as well as the destruction of a confederation of Middle Eastern and North African peoples led by one the Bible calls the King of the South (Daniel 11:40-43)? Will humans bring real peace or do we need the return of Jesus and the establishment of the millennial portion of the Kingdom of God to do that? Dr. Thiel addresses these issues and more.

While it is nice that the UAE, Bahrain, Sudan, and possibly others are making steps towards peace, other scriptures tell of major military conflict coming to the Middle East.
Do not let temporary peace moves or declarations dissuade you from realizing that.
