Weinland Wrong: COGwriter Did Not Die, LA Not Nuked
VS.
In CGPFK/CGPKG’s Ronald Weinland last post (5/23/12), he stated:
Having said all this, as it has been said so many times before over the past 14 years, we have now come to the end and Jesus Christ is now going to return on May 27th… Thank God that the resurrection of the Holy Roman Empire is so short lived…this union will only experience power together for one hour…
The final event that is coming upon God’s Church that was scattered is one they all will come to personally experience and cannot deny—for all other warnings, pleas, and admonitions have been denied and ignored. Nuclear war cannot be denied! Neither can the death of 7,000 previously baptized members be ignored (denied) which will consist mostly of those in leadership and especially those in the ministry…
This matter of 7,000 dying is the story that follows the job God gave to his two end-time witnesses. His own witnesses to His own Church have been rejected, mocked, and ridiculed…A nuclear war has erupted and Jesus Christ is returning in the atmosphere of this earth. God’s two witnesses are changed from mortal to immortal. Then 7,000 “named” (literally named by God and not random) individuals die, which includes first and foremost the ministry and other leading and well known people in the scattered groups. It also includes those who push themselves forward as “teachers” or individuals who are in the “know” about matters in God’s Church, especially in their attacks against God’s witnesses.
And Ron Weinland’s May 12, 2012 sermon included the following:
So what is it, 7:30ish before Pentecost begins in Jerusalem, it’ll be 6:30ish – somewhere around there – on the Sabbath. You’ll be almost to the end of your Sabbath. In the States, in the eastern time zone it’s around 12:36…But please understand, those who live 40-50 miles away you may not get back… that’s Los Angeles…And what’s going to take place, especially with Russia and China and what they finally do, it says they destroy a third of the earth. That’s very clear language. They destroy a third of all the earth. And the United States is not going to escape that, Great Britain is not going to escape that, Europe is not going to escape that. So there are some cities in some places that aren’t going to be a great place to be in some respects.
Ronald Weinland has the “last hour” occurring no later than from 11:37 a.m. – 12:37 p.m. EDT (for the Eastern USA) today, as sunset in Jerusalem May 26, 2012 is 7:36/7:37 p.m. today (depending upon which sunset calculator one looks at). Jesus is supposed to return, according to Ronald Weinland at the start of Pentecost in Jerusalem. And although many of his followers will likely still wait until sometime tomorrow, the reality is that Jesus is not coming this month.
As I post this, we supposedly are in the middle of Ron Weinland last literal hour–and by the time most of you read this that hour will be up (it would be 9:37 a.m. on the West Coast of the USA and I am posting this just past 9:00 a.m. PDT, 12:00 p.m. EDT). As of now, there are no news reports of the world, or Los Angeles, being destroyed by a nuclear war, nor any that a new power in Europe has risen up (Weinland’s followers can check this out for themselves if they doubt me)–and there should have been if Ron Weinland was right. Of course, as regular readers of this page know, I have never been wrong about any of the specifics I have denounced Ronald Weinland for these six plus years, and he always has been wrong on them.
And also, and of some interest to me, COGwriter is not dead. For years, Ronald Weinland has been seemingly obsessed with the fact that COG leaders have not accepted him as a prophet nor one of God’s two witnesses. Back in 2006, he wrote about the deaths of some of them being one of the first signs:
The most notable deaths early on, which are yet to come to pass, will be the two remaining television presenters in the Living Church of God.
The sound of this thunder will be intensified by the early deaths of the leaders of the Philadelphia Church of God, the Restored Church of God and the Church of the Great God. Then, those in the largest scattered group, who think they have escaped, will be lifted up to believe that God is with them because they are so filled with pride. But, when that happens, the deaths of many in the United Church of God will begin (Weinland R. 2008 – God’s Final Witness. Copyright © 2006 by the-end.com, inc., Cincinnati. Published October, 2006, p. 107-108).
In 2008, in his sermon prerecorded for 4/19/2008, he took this a step further:
You don’t understand the power of God and what He has given me to do…
And my first exercise in use of power, that God has granted me in Revelation 11, is to you, you mockers…Truly.
It begins with you, first and foremost.
You will be the first to experience…You don’t have to wait long.
For those who mock, again, from this day forward, by what you say against God’s people, by what you say against God’s truth, by what you say against God’s truths, by what you say against God’s prophets, you will suffer from sickness that will eat you from the inside out. And you will die. Your death will not be quick…
So according to Ronald Weinland, those who point out why he is wrong do not understand and thus he called for their deaths. Those in CGPFK may ask themselves why it is that Ronald Weinland has been suffering from the inside out in 2010 because of his appendicitis. It was so believed to include me personally, that on June 11, 2008, one of his supporters claimed that I was not posting as much about Ronald Weinland because I allegedly was ill from the result of the curse (see Desperation of a Weinland Follower). He wanted me to come clean publicly and admit that I was afflicted by the curse. But instead, my health, was and still, is excellent. Hence, that curse did not affect me then, nor now.
In 2009, Ron Weinland wrote:
And there are those who have condemned me for what I wrote in the book concerning the death of many ministers who where part of the scattering in God’s Church, especially of specific leaders that were mentioned. God has clearly revealed to His Church that I am the “Elijah to come,” and not in “type,” but in fullness of spirit and power. Elijah was known most by what he did to several hundred false prophets. He killed them! (Weinland R. The “ELIJAH TO COME”. December 24, 2009. posted at www.ronaldweinland.com).
Although I have not personally verified that others associated with the COGs have not died today, I have seen no reports that any have (and it is always possible that someone can die), I can verify that I have not died. Other than for the obvious reasons, why should that be important to followers of Ronald Weinland?
Well, supposedly people like me (and apparently, specifically including me) are supposed to also be part of the 7,000 that died by now per his 5/23/12 post.
Why COGwriter? In addition to the fact that I was apparently a major subject of his 4/19/08 sermon curse, I seem to have been the one posting against him for the longest time (over 6 years now). I am also one of the only ones that regularly reports against him who is actually part of a Church of God (many of the anti-Weinland sites are ran by those now outside the COGs). So, he now has yet another false prediction.
His often severe complaints and cursings about his critics should prove that it is Ron Weinland’s pride and hatred that has always been a motivating factor for him. And, perhaps this would be the time to remind everyone that the self-appointed false apostle, David Pack of the falsely titled Restored Church of God, seems to have similar issues with pride and hatred as he falsely declared various COG leaders, as well as also specifying COGwriter, as part of the Synagogue of Satan (see also RCG’s David Pack Says COGwriter, Dr. Meredith, COGs, etc. ‘Part of Synagogue of Satan’ for more details). Apparently, the false self-appointed have severe trouble understanding that those of us who have proven them false will not follow them.
Now, my article Concerns About Ronald Weinland’s Church of God-Preparing for the Kingdom of God has the following that those who still are part of his group need to think about:
Revelation 13:16-18 is clear that the 666 power will control buying and selling and try to prevent people from doing that who do not have the “mark of the Beast” (Revelation 13:16-17)–there is no way that this is supposed to only happen for one hour (especially if that one hour is supposed to be Saturday, May 26, 2012 in Europe). People could without any worry not buy things for one literal hour and would not fear not having the “mark” to stop buying for 60 minutes.
Furthermore, it simply is not possible that the Great Tribulation began 12/14/2008 as Ron Weinland proclaimed. That is also why it was not possible for Jesus to return at Pentecost in 2012.
Ronald Weinland’s followers are supposed to stay in their homes and listen to his prerecorded sermon today. But by the time most in North America hear all of it, his last hour will be over and Jesus will not have returned.
Since he called his 5/23/12 post his “final posting,” does that mean that Ronald Weinland will not post anything once he is again proven wrong? Perhaps, he will admit mistakes and post again–that should be the minimum he does for his followers.
The following scripture should suffice to dissuade his followers to support him by Sunday, if they have any real faith in scripture:
21 “And if you say in your heart, ‘How shall we know the word which the LORD has not spoken?’– 22 when a prophet speaks in the name of the LORD, if the thing does not happen or come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD has not spoken; the prophet has spoken it presumptuously; you shall not be afraid of him (Deuteronomy 18:21-22).
His supporters really need to believe the Bible more than Ronald Weinland. Any who are following him because they believed that Ronald Weinland was right and that Jesus was to return now will hopefully stop following him now (though they should have stopped following him earlier if they would have placed more reliance on the Word of God instead of the Words of Ron).
Hopefully, they will realize that the God of the Bible is still right and that it was basically the imaginations and explanations of a mere man, Ron Weinland, that were wrong.
The Bible teaches:
Indeed, let God be true but every man a liar. (Romans 3:4)
And, Ronald Weinland has repeatedly proven to not be faithful to the word of God. God is true, and Ronald Weinland has prophesied lies (which others have also done per Jeremiah 20:6).
For those who would like some additional proof from scripture, notice what should have already happened by now according to Jesus in Luke 21:
20 “But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know that its desolation is near. 21 Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those who are in the midst of her depart, and let not those who are in the country enter her. 22 For these are the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled. 23 But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days! For there will be great distress in the land and wrath upon this people. 24 And they will fall by the edge of the sword, and be led away captive into all nations. And Jerusalem will be trampled by Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled. 25 “And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; 26 men’s hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 27 Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28 Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.” (Luke 21:20-28)
These events have not yet occurred–though they and others will. The Word of God is faithful, but sadly Ronald Weinland did not rely enough on it.
Furthermore, there are other events in the Bible that needed to happen by now, but have not. Here is a short list of ten (and this could be several times this long):
- There is no actual final one to hold the position yet of the King of the North (Daniel 11:40).
- The Philadelphia remnant has not fled to the wilderness (Revelation 12:14-16; Revelation 3:7-10).
- The USA (“the strongest fortresses”) has not been destroyed (Daniel 11:39)
- There is no King of the South (Daniel 11:25, 40).
- The King of the North has not yet taken over the King of the South (Daniel 11:40).
- The non-protected saints were not given into the Beast’s hands for three and one half years (Daniel 7:24-25; Revelation 12:17).
- The world has not marveled at the Beast’s military ability nor worshiped him (Revelation 13:4,8).
- The false prophet of Revelation has not done signs and lying wonders (Revelation 13:11-17).
- The “star” Wormwood did not fall from heaven and hurt one third of the water (Revelation 8:10-11)
- There was no great earthquake that eliminated islands (Revelation 16:18-19).
It was never possible that the Great Tribulation began on December 14, 2008 as Ron Weinland insisted and all the remaining prophetic events could take place in 60 minutes on the 26th of May in 2012. And for those who still question that, consider that the Bible shows that the merchants of the world get wealthy from the Beast and then mourn once the Beast is destroyed (Revelation 18)–that simply could not happen in 60 minutes.
The Bible was never wrong. Ronald Weinland, who like Satan (Matthew 4:1-11), used scripture, also like Satan did not truly live by every word of it. If he did, he could not have made many of the proclamations that he did. The Bible warned that Satan’s ministers do not always look completely bad:
13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. 14 And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. 15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works. (2 Corinthians 11:13-15)
Ronald Weinland was a false apostle (this was another titled he falsely took for himself).
Deception is a powerful thing, but through Jesus it can be overcome (Philippians 4:13). Believe God, for “he who does not believe God has made Him a liar” (1 John 5:10). Ronald Weinland, not God, has lied.
Please do not let false prophets and false apostles like Ron Weinland turn you away from the God of the Bible.
