Some say that 5G will transfer data around 100 times faster. It has been claimed that it will allow secure and instantaneous connections and will connect people to everything.

“That careful coordination between the leader and the followers require that network connectivity,” she said. Upgrading systems to a 5G connection would allow for increased and faster data transfer, making the process more efficient.
Five-G will be a boon for fields associated with the electromagnetic spectrum, such as electronic warfare, signals intelligence and communication intelligence, she said.

By its structure, it tells you that you will assimilate and resistance is futile. 5G, or Fifth Generation, is less about communication speed and more about weather control and mind control. The leader of the Russian Orthodox Church has said that humans’ dependence on modern technology will result in the coming of the Antichrist.
In an interview with Russian state media, Patriarch Kirill explained he does not entirely oppose gadgets, but warned against “falling into slavery” to smartphones.
Patriarch Kirill said that the collection of user data including “location, interests and fears” will make it possible for humans to be controlled by external forces.
“Control from a single point is a harbinger of the coming of the Antichrist,” Kirill told the state-run Rossia-1 TV network …
“The Antichrist is a personality that will be at the head of the world wide web controlling the entire human race. Thus, the structure itself presents a danger,” he said.

Well, technology will be something the Antichrist supporters will use.
Back in 2012, in an article about cell phones, I wrote:

Over 82% of Americans own cell phones, with around half of these being smart phones. While cell phones themselves will not be the “mark of the beast,” the reality is that modern technology is certainly making spying on large populations easier. And even though I personally am not a cell phone person, I do not believe that owning them is something that the Bible prohibits.
5G can speed up attaining knowledge. There is also something called 10G:
5G stands for next-generation wireless; 10G, on the other hand, connotes cable’s ramp up to 10 gigabits-per-second speeds. Consider that faster development of knowledge was also prophesied in the Bible to occur during the time of the end:
4 “But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.” (Daniel 12:4)
What is called ‘artificial intelligence,’ along with technologies like 5G (and even 10g) is consistent with that prophecy. Not all increased knowledge is good as humans often do bad things with knowledge.
As far as AI goes, the Continuing Church of God (CCOG) put together the following two videos on our Bible News Prophecy YouTube channel related to it:
Billionaire Elon Musk declared he was worried that artificial intelligence (AI) may lead to the rise of an “immortal dictator,” a “godlike” entity that could take over the world. Is this accurate, or at least, close in some ways? Does Bible prophecy foretell of the rise of an immoral leader who considers himself above all gods? Will this result in great destruction? In 2016, the journal of Science published a paper that claims that crowdsourcing and artificial intelligence was the best way to deal with complex “wicked problems” like disease and climate change facing humanity. Is that possible or a false gospel? Is groupthink the answer? What does the Bible teach? What are real “wicked problems” and what does the Bible teach are real solutions?

Bible prophecy shows that a militaristic European dictator will arise and his supporters will apparently use something like AI. 5G and other technologies may well be utilized.
Notice what is coming with the European dictator Beast of the Sea and his Beast of the Earth Antichrist ‘partner’:
1 Then I stood on the sand of the sea. And I saw a beast rising up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his horns ten crowns, and on his heads a blasphemous name.2 Now the beast which I saw was like a leopard, his feet were like the feet of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. The ability to control buying and selling, forced worship, etc. would be vastly aided by modern technology. The type of control that was written about in Revelation 13 was not possible over 1900 years ago when Revelation was written–but in the 21st century it is.
While cell phones are not the mark of the Beast, they, and related technologies, are making it easier for the Beast to gain control once he rises up.
As far as 5G goes, there are concerns that it will negatively affect physical health:

Environmental effects of existing RF radiation have also been ignored. 5G will massively increase the microwave and millimeter wave radiation in our environment, and will have a detrimental effect on wildlife and trees. 5G will substantially increase exposure to radio–frequency electromagnetic fields RF-EMF, that has already been proven to be harmful for humans, animals and the environment.
Risks from 5G include:

- Severe sweating
- Skin damage
- Immune system disruption
- Metabolic disruption
- Neurological disturbance
- Leakage of blood brain barrier
- Damage to sperm
- Increased risk of cancers
- Collapse of insect populations, the base of food for birds and bats
- Rise in bacterial resistance and bacterial shifts
- Damage to plants and trees

Humans do not really know the possible health impacts of 5G, wireless networks, etc. Or that of 6G or 7G, which is also being proposed. Some believe that there are risks to the pineal gland and other parts of the human endocrine system from 5G.
Consider the 5G is intended for the immediate future.
A time of totalitarian control is coming and Patriarch Kirill is correct that technology will be used by the Antichrist and those he is supporting.
