The global elite have never been closer to their goal of a united world. Thanks to a series of interlocking treaties and international agreements, the governance of this planet is increasingly becoming globalized and centralized, but most people don’t seem alarmed by this at all. In the past 30 days, we have seen some of the biggest steps toward a one world government, a one world economy and a one world religion that we have ever witnessed, but these events have sparked very little public discussion or debate. From September 25th to September 27th, the United Nations launched a “new universal agenda” for humanity. …

The United Nations is promising that if we all work together that we can turn our planet into some kind of “utopia”, but the truth is that all of this talk about “unity” masks a very insidious agenda. The following comes from a recent piece by Paul McGuire, the author of a groundbreaking new book entitled “The Babylon Code”…

The UN is not asking permission, but issuing a command that the entire planet will commit to 17 sustainable development goals and 169 sustainable development targets designed to radically transform our world by 2030. The UN 2030 plan promoted by the Pope will advance Agenda 21 on steroids.

Through a controlled media the mass populations will be told that this is all about saving the environment and “ending poverty.” But that is not the true agenda of Agenda 21. The true agenda of Agenda 21 is to establish a global government, global economic system, and global religion. When UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon spoke of “a dream of a world of peace and dignity for all” this is no different than when the Communists promised the people a “workers paradise.”

For the general population, “the 2030 Agenda” has been rebranded as “the global goals”. On September 26th, some of the biggest names in the music world (including Beyonce) promoted these new “global goals” at the “Global Citizen Festival” that was held in Central Park. None of this is by accident. …

Another way that our planet is being “united” is through the use of international trade agreements.

Regular readers of this COG News page realize that I have been warning about Pope Francis’ agenda which promotes many of the elements of the “‘New Universal Agenda.” This was apparently the plan, and is consistent with his Laudato Si encyclical.

Now Michael Snyder is correct that we will not get there overnight. And he is also right that there will be ‘quite a few bumps along the way.’

The Bible clearly teaches of an economic power (Revelation 13:16-18) that is a vast trading empire (cf. Revelation 18:11-23) and that has essentially a one-world religion (Revelation 13:4-8).

However, it will not come about because the USA will voluntarily give up its sovereignty. It is not that the USA is not agreeing to aspects of that, but the Bible shows that the rising Babylonian Beast power in Europe will decide that the USA must be eliminated militarily in order for it to attain its goals (cf. Daniel 11:39).

The Bible warns about being associated with the end time ‘daughter of Babylon,’ also known as Mystery Babylon the Great:

6 “Up, up! Flee from the land of the north,” says the Lord; “for I have spread you abroad like the four winds of heaven,” says the Lord. 7 “Up, Zion! Escape, you who dwell with the daughter of Babylon. (Zechariah 2:6-7)

33 For thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel:

“The daughter of Babylon is like a threshing floor
When it is time to thresh her;
Yet a little while
And the time of her harvest will come.” (Jeremiah 51:33)

3… And I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast which was full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. 4 The woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls, having in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the filthiness of her fornication. 5 And on her forehead a name was written:

MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.

6 I saw the woman, drunk with the blood of the saints and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus. And when I saw her, I marveled with great amazement.

7 But the angel said to me, “Why did you marvel? I will tell you the mystery of the woman and of the beast that carries her, which has the seven heads and the ten horns. 8 The beast that you saw was, and is not, and will ascend out of the bottomless pit and go to perdition. And those who dwell on the earth will marvel, whose names are not written in the Book of Life from the foundation of the world, when they see the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.

9 “Here is the mind which has wisdom: The seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman sits. 10 There are also seven kings. Five have fallen, one is, and the other has not yet come. And when he comes, he must continue a short time. 11 The beast that was, and is not, is himself also the eighth, and is of the seven, and is going to perdition.

12 “The ten horns which you saw are ten kings who have received no kingdom as yet, but they receive authority for one hour as kings with the beast. 13 These are of one mind, and they will give their power and authority to the beast. 14 These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, for He is Lord of lords and King of kings; and those who are with Him are called, chosen, and faithful.”

15 Then he said to me, “The waters which you saw, where the harlot sits, are peoples, multitudes, nations, and tongues. 16 And the ten horns which you saw on the beast, these will hate the harlot, make her desolate and naked, eat her flesh and burn her with fire. 17 For God has put it into their hearts to fulfill His purpose, to be of one mind, and to give their kingdom to the beast, until the words of God are fulfilled. 18 And the woman whom you saw is that great city which reigns over the kings of the earth.”

18:1 After these things I saw another angel coming down from heaven, having great authority, and the earth was illuminated with his glory. 2 And he cried mightily with a loud voice, saying, “Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and has become a dwelling place of demons, a prison for every foul spirit, and a cage for every unclean and hated bird! 3 For all the nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth have become rich through the abundance of her luxury.”

4 And I heard another voice from heaven saying, “Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues. 5 For her sins have reached to heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities. 6 Render to her just as she rendered to you, and repay her double according to her works; in the cup which she has mixed, mix double for her. 7 In the measure that she glorified herself and lived luxuriously, in the same measure give her torment and sorrow; for she says in her heart, ‘I sit as queen, and am no widow, and will not see sorrow.’ 8 Therefore her plagues will come in one day — death and mourning and famine. And she will be utterly burned with fire, for strong is the Lord God who judges her. (Revelation 17:3-18; 18:1-8)

The Bible shows that this ‘daughter of Babylon’ will not simply come about because of trade agreements, but that sorcery, signs, and lying wonders will all be factors for a power that will ultimately fail:

1″Come down and sit in the dust,O virgin daughter of Babylon; Sit on the ground without a throne, O daughter of the Chaldeans! For you shall no more be called Tender and delicate. 2 Take the millstones and grind meal.Remove your veil,Take off the skirt, Uncover the thigh, Pass through the rivers. 3 Your nakedness shall be uncovered,Yes, your shame will be seen;I will take vengeance, And I will not arbitrate with a man.”

4 As for our Redeemer, the Lord of hosts is His name,The Holy One of Israel. 5 “Sit in silence, and go into darkness, O daughter of the Chaldeans;For you shall no longer be called The Lady of Kingdoms. 6 I was angry with My people; I have profaned My inheritance, And given them into your hand.You showed them no mercy; On the elderly you laid your yoke very heavily. 7 And you said, ‘I shall be a lady forever, ‘So that you did not take these things to heart, Nor remember the latter end of them.

8 “Therefore hear this now, you who are given to pleasures,Who dwell securely,Who say in your heart, ‘I am, and there is no one else besides me;I shall not sit as a widow, Nor shall I know the loss of children’; 9 But these two things shall come to you In a moment, in one day: The loss of children, and widowhood. They shall come upon you in their fullness Because of the multitude of your sorceries, For the great abundance of your enchantments.

10 “For you have trusted in your wickedness; You have said, ‘No one sees me’; Your wisdom and your knowledge have warped you; And you have said in your heart, ‘I am, and there is no one else besides me.’ (Isaiah 47:1-10)

21 Then a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone and threw it into the sea, saying, “Thus with violence the great city Babylon shall be thrown down, and shall not be found anymore. 22 The sound of harpists, musicians, flutists, and trumpeters shall not be heard in you anymore. No craftsman of any craft shall be found in you anymore, and the sound of a millstone shall not be heard in you anymore. 23 The light of a lamp shall not shine in you anymore, and the voice of bridegroom and bride shall not be heard in you anymore. For your merchants were the great men of the earth, for by your sorcery all the nations were deceived. (Revelation 18:21-23)

3 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs coming out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. 14 For they are spirits of demons, performing signs, which go out to the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty. (Revelation 16:13-14)

9 The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, 10 and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, 12 that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness. (2 Thessalonians 2:9-12)

Many world leaders, including Pope Francis, believe that it will be international human cooperation that will bring peace and prosperity, the type of unity that they are working towards will involve more deception and demonic influence. Isaiah 47:10 suggests, to me at least, that some false documents (possibly related to church history) will some day surface as additional ‘proof’ to follow what the world is trying to put together.

While the UN, EU, and the Vatican will have some temporal successes, they will not only not succeed, their demonically-influenced human efforts will ultimately bring planet Earth to the point that it would make life unsustainable if Jesus did not return to establish His Kingdom. What the United Nations and the Vatican are promoting is a false gospel. Many in the world are trying to put together a semi-religious Babylonian international plan to put in a new world order in the 21st century.

Although the Bible shows that ultimately it will fail, the Bible also shows that it will look good to many, and even get a temporal peace deal in the Middle East per Daniel 9:27 (see also The ‘Peace Deal’ of Daniel 9:27).

According to the Bible, it will take a combination of a military leader in Europe (called the King of the North, also called the Beast of Revelation 13:1-10) along with a religious leader (called the false prophet, also called THE Antichrist and the two-horned Beast of Revelation 13:11-17) from the city of seven hills (Revelation 17:9,18), along with sorceries and demons (Isaiah 47: ; Revelation ) to bring in a Babylonian (Revelation 17 & 18) ‘new world order.’ And the Bible teaches that this is not good (Revelation 13, 14, 17, & 18).

This is something that the Continuing Church of God has denounced since its inception and plans to continue to denounce. Regarding those of the world, the Bible teaches “the way of peace they have not known” (Isaiah 59:8; Romans 3:17). Instead, the United Nations and the Vatican are setting the world (including the USA) up for ‘sudden destruction’ (! Thessalonians 5:3).
