Jeremy Corbyn of the Labour Party in the UK came out opposed to the United Kingdom leaving the European Union:

LONDON—The leader of the U.K.’s main opposition Jeremy Corbyn said the Labour Party is overwhelmingly in favor of Britain’s membership of the European Union despite the bloc’s “shortcomings,” in his first major speech of the party’s campaign ahead of a June referendum.

Mr. Corbyn, who has been critical of the EU in the past, has faced mounting pressure from some lawmakers within his center-left party to play a role in the campaign. U.K. Prime Minister David Cameron, who is spearheading the pro-EU push, has been actively campaigning for months focusing primarily on the economic case for staying in the bloc.

The intervention from the Labour leader comes after some difficult weeks for the campaign to keep Britain in the EU, with events such as the terror attacks in Brussels, a crisis in Britain’s steel industry, and focus on Prime Minister David Cameron’s links to offshore funds dominating the agenda.

In a speech at a London university campus, the Labour leader said the party supported remaining in the EU because it provided protections for rights for workers and consumers as well as environmental standards.

Continued membership was important to provide the collective strength to counterbalance the power of multinationals, Mr. Corbyn said, addressing an audience of students and party activists.

Leaving the EU might lead to a “bonfire of rights,” he said.

Bank of England warns Brexit could do serious harm to UK economy

A vote to leave the EU could harm economic growth and have a serious impact on the pound and other UK assets, the Bank of England has said, as it took steps to prepare for June’s referendum.

Minutes to the Bank’s latest policy meeting showed its nine-strong monetary policy committee voted unanimously to leave interest rates at their historic low of 0.5%. The committee said uncertainty ahead of what was expected to be a close EU vote …

“A vote to leave could have significant implications for asset prices, in particular the exchange rate. The MPC would have to make careful judgements about the next effects of these potential influences on demand, supply and inflation. Ultimately, monetary policy would be set in order to meet the inflation target, while also ensuring that inflation expectations remained anchored.”

A Reuters poll this week found that 17 of 26 economists thought a vote for Brexit could prompt the Bank to cut interest rates for the first time since the financial crisis. …

Although the Obama Administration wants the UK to remain in the EU, if the UK votes to leave the EU, it will probably increase its economic and military ties to the USA in some fashion.

We now are seeing a real battle in the UK. The campaign related to a possible Brexit (also called a Brixit) is on. Brexit is short for BRitish EXIT and Brixit is short for BRItish exIT from the European Union.

Vote Leave has been trying to make a liberal case for Brexit, with a focus on less regulation and freer trade. Grassroots Out and Mr Farage have instead put more emphasis on tougher immigration controls. Both groups recognise that concerns about immigration are the strongest source of support for Brexit. But Vote Leave is offering a more positive message and worries that relying on Mr Farage’s to argue for Brexit might put off centrist and undecided voters. Because Vote Leave seems more sensible than its rival, its official designation may marginally boost the chances of a Brexit vote.

The two groups will presumably now come together anyway. Mr Farage has already congratulated Vote Leave and promised to work with it, as have two Tory MPs who helped to establish Grassroots Out. But Mr Banks and some of his advisers are talking of a judicial challenge to the Electoral Commission’s decision. If they can get a challenge off the ground, which seems unlikely, they could even delay the date of the referendum by a few months.

In the fuss over which pro-Brexit group would be designated, less attention has been paid to the group selected to campaign to remain in the (EU). Britain Stronger in Europe, led by Lord (Stuart) Rose, the former boss of Marks & Spencer, has no rivals, is well financed and has the backing not just of leading pro-Europeans but also of most British businesses. Earlier this year, David Cameron came back with a deal he negotiated with leaders of the EU. Most in the UK did not find that enough to convince them to want to stay in the EU (see Most in the UK not convinced it should remain in the EU).

So, David Cameron went back, and got a ‘better’ deal, granting the UK ‘special status’ within the EU (watch Will the UK’s ‘special status’ with the EU last?). He did this in the hopes that more in the UK would vote to remain in the EU.

Obviously, people like Nigel Farage are not convinced that this is a good deal. Because of pressures and promises, Prime Minister Cameron announced that the vote on staying or leaving the EU would take place on June 23, 2016.

We will see how the vote turns out. Yet ultimately, no matter how the vote goes, the UK WILL NOT BE AN EQUAL MEMBER OF THE EUROPEAN UNION!

If the UK votes to leave the European Union, this will be because more voters apparently believe it will do better outside the European Union.

If the UK votes to remain in the European Union, this will be because more voters apparently believe it will do better inside the European Union.

If the UK votes to leave, then those in the European Union will feel that the UK has betrayed Europe, and will hold this against the UK.

But what if the UK votes to stay in?

Well, this will be problematic in many ways.

Both eastern and western European nations are opposed to this (watch Will the UK’s ‘special status’ with the EU last?) and it is already alienating the UK from Europe.

They also have indicated that London will cease its role of being the financial center of Europe, should the UK vote to leave the EU.

Relationships between the EU and UK will worsen.

David Cameron claims, “Britain will never be part of a European superstate.” But a superstate is what the elite in Europe want and is what they will get (cf. Revelation 17:12-13)–and the UK will be taken over by it.

Huge portions of the Dutch military are being merged with the German Army, in a process that many want to see rolled out across the whole Continent. Two of the Netherland’s three combat brigades have officially begun the process of joining the Bundeswehr.

The 11th Airmobile Brigade came under German command in 2014. Then on March 17, the 43rd Mechanized Brigade officially became part of the German 1st Armored Division. The Dutch Army now has only the 13th Mechanized Brigade, plus special forces, support and headquarters staff under its own command.

This is a revolutionary change, not just for the Netherlands, but for Europe, and, in time, the world. It is paving the way for a newly capable German-led military force. …

The German Sea Battalion is under Dutch command, so this cooperation goes both ways to a certain extent—though it is clear Germany is the senior partner. Even so, the German troops commanded by the Netherlands will be unable to deploy without the approval of the German parliament. Germany’s constitutional court has ruled that the German military can only be deployed with the permission of the Bundestag. This applies to German units stationed in other forces.

“In all previous collaborations was agreed that troops operations continue to be subject to checks by the national institutions and procedures,” wrote Sachsische Zeitung. “The Sea Battalion of the German Navy could thus be involved, for example, only after approval of the Bundestag on a foreign deployment of the Dutch Navy” (Trumpet translation throughout).

Germany sees this unprecedented cooperation as only the start. It has begun preparations for similar arrangements with Poland. The Czech Republic has asked Germany several times for a similar arrangement to what the Dutch now have—it also wants one of its armored brigades absorbed into the German Army. …

As far as that last point goes, Germany has already stated that it wants a military that is independent of the USA (see my posts Germany military looking to be ‘Independent of the USA’ and Germans wants an independent European arms industry).

But that is not the only thing that Germany wants.

Following her talks yesterday with Mexico’s President Enrique Peña Nieto in Berlin, German Chancellor Angela Merkel announced that Germany will strengthen its partnership with Mexico. It will train members of the police and armed forces and enhance economic cooperation with that country. Mexico, traditionally, has been one of the German companies’ two most important trading partners in Latin America. …

Berlin’s decision to expand its cooperation with Mexico is also a result of the growing polarization on the shores of the Pacific. On the one hand, cooperation should be intensified at the economic level. During his visit to Berlin, which ended yesterday, Mexico’s President, Enrique Peña Nieto, met with representatives of interested German companies. Chancellor Angela Merkel subsequently declared that “our companies’ improvement proposals” were “very openly accepted.” In return, parallel to the passage of the TTIP agreement, Berlin will make efforts to accommodate the free trade agreement between the EU and Mexico. Otherwise, Mexico can expect a negative impact, due to its close ties to the USA. Secondly, this expansion of cooperation involves the sector of repression. Germany wants to support Mexico in reforming and training its police. Thirdly, the Bundeswehr is to train and provide advanced training for Mexico’s armed forces. The official reason is to prepare Mexico for its first UN Blue Helmet mission, announced for the first time in 2014. …

In the first half of 2016, Foreign Minister Steinmeier will visit Argentina and Mexico. Germany’s potential political benefit – alongside the economics – can be gleaned from a sort of declaration of devotion uttered yesterday in Berlin by Mexico’s President Peña Nieto. “We are expressly grateful for the leading role assumed by Chancellor Merkel. Why report about Mexico and Germany?

Notice something I posted here on March 3, 2008 and February 3, 2009:

The EU will decide that Mexico and the rest of Latin America are in more agreement with it and thus make some type of serious trading agreement with most (or all) of Latin America.  The Vatican will also have influence here as Latin America is highly Roman Catholic.

The Europeans and Americans, however, will continue to have military agreements, though many will be tense about them.

Eventually, the Europeans (possibly under the cover of pretending that they are involved in a “NATO-like” exercise in North America) will eventually launch a surprise attack against the United States in fulfillment of both biblical and Catholic prophecies.  The Mexicans will most likely be allied with the Europeans for this to happen. It has been my personal belief for over two decades that when the Europeans ultimately invade the USA, they will do it by surprise and likely under the pretext of conducting joint military exercises with the USA on USA soil.

And while that scenario might not come to pass, the recent news suggests that this is a certainly plausible speculation.

The USA is on shaky grounds and ultimately is likely to rely on some (like the Euroopeans) that will turn upon it.  And I believe that the USA will be taken off guard by this invasion (which I also suspect will be supported by ground troops likely based in Mexico).

The stage for the destruction of the USA is being set more and more lately. (Thiel B. France, NATO, and the Invasion of the USA)

For decades I have believed that Mexico would likely support the European takeover of the USA for many reasons. The announcement that Germany will be training Mexican military troops is consistent with that.

But training Mexican troops is not all some in Germany want.  Notice also the following:

A key member of a partner in Germany’s ruling coalition has called for an “Islam law” to prevent foreign financing of mosques as he says “political Islam” undermines integration in the country.

Andreas Scheuer, the Christian Social Union’s general secretary, has said in an interview with Die Welt newspaper that “political Islam” undermines efforts to integrate people in Germany.

He spoke to the newspaper at a time of polarizing views on immigration in Europe and the arrival of mainly Muslim refugees.

Scheuer said financing of mosques or Islamic kindergartens from foreign countries, such as Turkey and Saudi Arabia, must be stopped, the UK’s Independent newspaper reported.

He also said “all imams must be trained in Germany and share our fundamental values.”

The CSU is any ally of Chancellor Angela Merkel’s Christian Democratic Union which share power with the Social Democratic Party in a grand coalition.

“It can’t be the case that other, sometimes extreme, moral concepts, are imported from abroad,” Scheuer was quoted as saying.

“German must become the language of the mosques,” he noted, arguing: “Europe must cultivate its own Islam.” http://www.ecumenicalnews.com/article/german-politician-wants-an-islam-law-to-prevent-foreign-financing-of-mosques/42510.htm

Notice that Andreas Scheuer is calling for a German version of Islam. The ecumenical and interfaith movement is moving forward.  The time will come when there will be a more German-focused version of Catholicism.  The Bible tells of a leader, called the King of the North, that will feign aspects of a faith, but change it (cf. Daniel 11:37-38).

I have long said, this leader will claim to be Roman Catholic, but will work to change that faith–and that is even consistent with Roman Catholic prophecies. I will also add that the Bible shows that the supporters of the European Beast King of the North power will betray the Church of Rome (cf. Revelation 17:16-18).

Getting back to military matters, it perhaps should be mentioned that the current German military is called the Bundeswehr. It is reported that:

The Bundeswehr is among the world’s most technologically advanced and best-supplied militaries (Bundeswehr. Wikipedia, viewed 04/28/14)

I have long written that technology will be a major key to the military success of the final European King of the North Beast power. The biblical ramifications of a Europe that can defend itself apart from the USA are enormous.

The Bible tells of a time when a final Beast power will rise up in Europe. Because of real divisions between the USA and Europe, Europe, despite the fact that it does not seem like it wants to will attack and takeover the USA. The ‘he’ in Daniel 11:39 is identified as the King of the North in Daniel 11:40:

5 O Assyrian, the rod of mine anger, and the staff in their hand is mine indignation. 6 I will send him against an hypocritical nation, and against the people of my wrath will I give him a charge, to take the spoil, and to take the prey, and to tread them down like the mire of the streets. 7 Howbeit he meaneth not so, neither doth his heart think so; but it is in his heart to destroy and cut off nations not a few. 8 For he saith, Are not my princes altogether kings? 9 Is not Calno as Carchemish? is not Hamath as Arpad? is not Samaria as Damascus? 10 As my hand hath found the kingdoms of the idols, and whose graven images did excel them of Jerusalem and of Samaria; 11 Shall I not, as I have done unto Samaria and her idols, so do to Jerusalem and her idols? *Isaiah 10:5-11, KJV)

39 Thus he shall act against the strongest fortresses with a foreign god, which he shall acknowledge, and advance its glory; and he shall cause them to rule over many, and divide the land for gain. (Daniel 11:39)

There are historical and prophetic reasons to tie in Assyria with those in Germany and central Europe today (see Germany’s Assyrian Roots Throughout History and Germany in Biblical and Catholic Prophecy).

The Bible talks about a beast of the sea that had a deadly wound to one of its heads that was healed:

3 And I saw one of his heads as if it had been mortally wounded, and his deadly wound was healed. And all the world marveled and followed the beast. (Revelation 13:3)

While the above likely has multiple interpretations, such as with the old ‘Holy Roman Empire,’ could this not also refer to a leader whose political career and/or or an empire that was believed to have been destroyed, who later returns?

Notice the verse that comes after Revelation 13:3:

4 So they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him? (Revelation 13:4)

Notice that this beast has military ability. Consider that Germany is taking the lead of the military in Europe and is now also going to train Mexican troops.

While many do not think that much will happen with Europe’s military, the terrorist incidents along with events in Ukraine, Russian military matters, and the relative decline of the US military are all motivating various ones in Europe in general and Germany in particular to want to step up the military presence in Europe and elsewhere.

Germany still wants to lead all of Europe–the Bible supports that this will happen. The fact that the Germans are getting more and more open about wanting to strengthen a European military shows that the goal of such a military is intended.

Are Christians supposed to use wine or grape juice for Passover?

Some sent me the following:

My son, a baptist, and I, a member of God’s Church, had a discussion about wine and Passover. He believes that grape juice is ok during communion service. I believe that wine is necessary because that’s what Jesus used when He changed the Passover observance.

What I would like to know is: scriptures that refer specifically to wine as being an important part of the service.

Also, another point of our conversation was about pregnant women.

I told him that a pregnant woman could take the small amount of wine

during Passover services with no harmful effects.

Later I searched the Bible for instructions to pregnant women about wine consumption. The only thing that I could fine was Judges 13:3-4 This was about Samson becoming a nazirite.

In my opinion this is one specific case and doesn’t apply to all women.

So, I’m just wondering; is wind during Passover services ok for pregnant women?

So, I provided some answers.

In CCOG we use a small amount of wine for Passover, and yes, even for pregnant women. I am unaware of any scientific evidence that the amount of wine we use during Passover is possibly harmful (unless one has allergies).

Jesus introduced the use of the wine cup:

20 Likewise He also took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is shed for you. (Luke 22:20)

The cup symbolized His blood. As blood is red and grape juice back then was not, this was a reference to red wine, not juice. The Bible teaches that wine is the blood of the grape (Deuteronomy 32:14).

As far as scriptures proving that is wine as opposed to grape juice, notice something that the old WCG taught:

Prohibitionists object saying, “But how do you know that the original Hebrew and Greek words mean fermented wine? Certain historians say the wine used was nothing more than molasses — that this grape drink was nonintoxicating and the ordinary drink of people in Christ’s time.”

Here is the truth about this false idea!

There are thirteen original Hebrew and Greek words for “wine” in our English Bible. How can we know which one means fermented wine? To find the answer, do not go to Aristotle or Pliny, but go to the Bible itself. By comparing its usage, the scriptural meaning of wine can be defined.

One of the original Hebrew words for wine is yayin. This word is first used in Genesis 9:21 where Noah “drank of the wine and was drunken.” This wine caused drunkenness! Was it just grape juice or was it molasses?

In Genesis 14:18 we read of Melchizedek — Jesus Christ — who “brought forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of the most high God.” God Himself here gave wine to Abraham. And again, the original Hebrew word was yayin which always means fermented wine. This same Hebrew words used in Amos 9:14 speaking of the coming Millennium when the people will “plant vineyards, and drink the wine thereof.” They will drink the same kind of wine that Noah, by overindulgence, became drunk on.

In the New Testament, one original Greek word for wine is oinos. Proof that it is alcoholic is given in the story of the good Samaritan. The Samaritan poured oil and wine on the man’s wounds (Luke 10:34), showing that the wine had enough alcoholic content to be used as an antiseptic. Would you pour grape juice or molasses on a wound?

The Greek word oinos is also used in John 2 where Jesus turned water into wine by a divine miracle. It is used in I Timothy 5:23, the command of Paul, “Drink no longer water, but use a little wine for thy stomach’s sake and thine often infirmities.” This Greek word is also used in Ephesians 5:18, “And be not drunk with wine wherein is excess.”

In ancient times it was impossible to preserve grape juice. Except :for a short season the “fruit of the vine” was either made into a thick molasses or into wine. Check Hastings Bible Dictionary for the full proof.

“Taken intelligently and with discretion, alcohol (in wine and other drinks) can prolong life expectancy… However, even temporary excess or prolonged overdrinking can lead to disaster” (Pasadena Medical Society). It is for our welfare and happiness that God has commanded us not to use alcoholic beverages IN EXCESS and for a wrong purpose. Most people don’t know where to draw the line between temperance and excess. Such people better abstain totally until they know they can “be temperate in all things.”

Now since some will argue about the Greek, there is something else I want to add that the old WCG did not seem to emphasize.

Which is?

It was not reasonable to conclude that they were drinking grape juice at Passover in Jesus’ time as grapes are NOT in season then. Grapes ripen in the late Summer or early Fall.  Having been to Israel once, it occurred to me that they would not have had any way to store the juice. They did not have refrigeration and there was not enough freezing there to freeze very much for very long.

Grape juice would not last through the winter and into the Spring back then. It would have spoiled and not been fit to drink as juice by the time of Passover (which is always in the Spring).

Thus it is not logical to conclude that grape juice was used by Jesus in His final Passover. Wine, on the other hand, can be stored for years.

Jesus used wine for Passover.

There has been a push in the USA, Australia, and elsewhere to force parents to vaccinate their children.

Whether or not vaccines directly cause autism can be, and has been debated. My own view is that it is an accumulation of toxins that likely cause autism, and that vaccines are just one more toxin (though a powerful one).  Perhaps I should mention that I knew the late Dr. Bernard Rimland, who founded the Autism Research Institute many decades ago. He was one of the first to point out the possible connection between vaccines and autism.  Dr. Rimland allowed me to put some of his writings together in a book I wrote a decade or so ago (which came out with a new edition in 2016: Serious Nutrition: Incorporating Clinically Effective Nutrition Into Your Practice).

Years back, the fairly pro-vaccine publication Consumer Reports mentioned that vaccinations seem to increase the probability of developing asthma. As Barry Farber pointed out, we have seen massive increase in autism rates–though many have disputed that vaccines could have caused that, the reality is that the autism rates have gone way up.

California used to allow parents to not vaccinate their children, but now they are forcing the issue as are other governments. Let me state that having met with health officials in California, including giving testimony about two decades back before the Assembly Health committee, I have seen first hand how certain decisions appear to be made, and money and political considerations are normally more important than health and true public welfare.

Of course, vaccines per se are not a massive doctrinal issue, but the trend this year is to reduce rights of parents and others who have concerns about them. Much of the world is moving towards a more totalitarian government–and moving away from religious freedom.

One candidate for US President, Hillary Clinton, once stated that giving vaccinations was one of the three most important things needed to be a good parent (see also Hillary Clinton in Prophecy). Yet, teaching the word of God and being a proper example is what parents are biblically supposed to do (see also Five Rules for Effective Parenting), but Mrs. Clinton did not say that.

My wife and I did not vaccinate any of our three children. Nor have she or I had any vaccines in adulthood despite traveling to various countries around the world.

Am I saying that all vaccinations are necessarily wrong?

No.

But I also do not believe that one must intentionally expose oneself or ones’ children to the pathogens and other elements involved with vaccines. Nor do I believe that vaccines should be mandated to parents. Vaccines are not going to save society. Decades ago, the late Ernest Martin wrote:

Leading doctors have warned that there is no substitute for clean living – that drugs cannot nullify the damage done by wanton breaking of all health laws – and that wholesale vaccinations can weaken man’s overall natural resistance to disease. But as long as we appear to be well, almost no one gives these warnings a second thought.(Martin E. Will we ever learns? Plain Truth, August 1965)

Turning from sin, eating only what is good, and obeying sanitary principles in the Bible are more effective than vaccines. But most political leaders will not truly advocate all of that.

A judge in China ruled against ‘same-sex marriage’ today:

A Chinese judge has rejected a gay couple’s attempt to secure the right to marry in the country’s first same-sex marriage case.

Sun Wenlin, 27, from the central province of Hunan, had sued the civil affairs bureau in the city of Changsha for the right to marry his 37-year-old partner Hu Mingliang, a security guard.

Sun decided to take legal action after authorities refused the couple’s request to have their relationship officially recognised as a marriage last June, on their first anniversary together.

In January a court in Changsha agreed to hear their case, which activists said was the first of its kind in China.

The Chinese government has banned all depictions of gay people on television, as part of a cultural crackdown on “vulgar, immoral and unhealthy content”.

Chinese censors have released new regulations for content that “exaggerates the dark side of society” and now deem homosexuality, extramarital affairs, one night stands and underage relationships as illegal on screen.

Last week the Chinese government pulled a popular drama, Addicted, from being streamed on Chinese websites as it follows two men in gay relationships, causing uproar among the show’s millions of viewers.

The government said the show contravened the new guidelines, which state that “No television drama shall show abnormal sexual relationships and behaviours, such as incest, same-sex relationships, sexual perversion, sexual assault, sexual abuse, sexual violence, and so on.”

Sadly, in the West, depictions and advocacy of homosexuality, adultery, and pornography keeps growing. It is interesting that the officially atheist nation of China and the formerly atheist Russia have taken steps against the type of promotion of immorality that the West seems determined to drag itself down with.

As far as the West goes, notice the following that a medical doctor posted last evening:

Federal and state governments have opened a new Pandora’s box of dangers to the public, especially for women and girls, with the new push for “gender neutral” public bathrooms and locker rooms, allowing people to choose such facilities based on self-perceived gender, rather than biological sex.

Consequence of such absurd ideas are predictable. This video graphically illustrates many case examples of the dangers to vulnerable women. Just recently, a Seattle man began undressing at a public swimming pool women’s locker room when a group of young girls were changing for a swim team practice. He was not arrested, as a result of Washington’s new law allowing “transgender” men to use women’s restrooms. I use quotes around the term transgender because this man had no outward identifying statements or attire to suggest he thought of himself as a woman.

Bathroom equality or “gender neutral” locker rooms is just the latest absurdity in the move by “progressives” to “progress” the United States right out of common sense and public safety. It continues the liberal expansion of “rights” for a minority few against safety and privacy rights of the majority.

To put the tyranny of the minority in perspective here: There are approximately 700,000 transgender people in the U.S., representing about 0.3 percent of the entire population. That means the safety, privacy and common decency concerns for 99.7 percent of the American population are sacrificed on the altar of political correctness and “feel good” policies for a tiny fraction of the public.

Indecent exposure (males exposing genitals to women in public is the most common occurrence), sexual battery, assault, molestation, sex with minors and rape are all crimes in almost all jurisdictions. It shouldn’t take a rocket scientist to see that telling men they can suddenly decide they “feel” like a woman and thereby use women’s bathrooms is a slippery slope to more of all types of these sexual crimes. How does the “feeling” of a gender dysphoric man take priority over the safety of your wife, daughter, girlfriend, mother, sister or friend?

The Association of American Physicians and Surgeons released a statement about the importance of separate facilities for men and women to protect public safety: “Attempts by activist groups to force businesses or government facilities to harm, threaten demean, or offend women and girls who do not want to share facilities with biological males are to be resisted and condemned as immoral, irrational, oppressive, and contrary to public order, human rights, public health, and our founding principles.” http://www.wnd.com/2016/04/doc-gender-neutral-bathrooms-are-dangerous/#CgSgUxyLYoS4HJcU.99

The West is not benefiting from pornography or the LGBT agenda.  This will not end well for the USA and its Anglo-Saxon descended allies (cf. Daniel 11:39) nor the rest of the West (cf. Daniel 11:44-45).

The Chinese are Gentiles.  Without relying on the Bible, they see that the LGBT and pornographic agendas are not good for their society.  And they are right.

Yet, those in the West also have the Bible, and have less excuse for what is being wrongly promoted. This will not end well for the West.

Among biblical critics is the view that the Bible could not have been written when believers say it was because they claim that the children of Israel did not have the ability to write certain words, etc. that early. The Associated Press (AP) reports that there is another archeological discovery which supports the view that parts of the Hebrew scriptures were written earlier than many critics claim:

Handwriting study finds clues on when biblical texts written

JERUSALEM (AP) — Israeli mathematicians and archaeologists say they have found evidence to suggest that key biblical texts may have been composed earlier than what some scholars think.

Using handwriting analysis technology similar to that employed by intelligence agencies and banks to analyze signatures, a Tel Aviv University team determined that a famous hoard of ancient Hebrew inscriptions, dated to around 600 BC, were written by at least six different authors. Although the inscriptions are not from the Hebrew Bible, their discovery suggests there was widespread literacy in ancient Judah at the time that would support the composition of biblical works. …

In recent years, many scholars have attributed the composition of a group of biblical texts, from the Book of Joshua to the second Book of Kings, to the period after the siege, according to Israeli archaeologist Israel Finkelstein, who participated in the study. That theory holds that the biblical texts were written as a result of the exile to Babylon, when the composers began to think about their past and put their history to parchment.

Finkelstein, however, said he has long believed those texts were written in the late 7th century BC in Jerusalem, before the siege. He said the study offers support for that theory.

“It’s the first time we have something empirical in our hands,” said Finkelstein. …

The inscriptions themselves are not biblical texts. Instead, they detail troop movements and expenses for provisions, indicating that people throughout the military chain of command down to the fort’s deputy quartermaster were able to write. The tone of the inscriptions, which suggest they were not written by professional scribes, combined with the fortress’ remote location, indicate a wide spread of literacy at the time, according to the study.

There has been a campaign by some that claim that much of what the Bible records around the time of Joshua was a myth. But archeological evidence keeps being found which verifies the biblical account.

I would add that much of the Hebrew Bible was written even earlier than those that are involved in the ‘handwriting’ study believe as well.

Anyway, getting back to the archeological announcement, it provides further evidence that critics of the Bible are in error. The Bible is trustworthy, despite claims of unbelievers.

The USA has again increased its deficit spending:

WASHINGTON—The U.S. budget deficit expanded during the first half of the fiscal year as spending rose faster than receipts . . .

The government ran a $461.04 billion deficit from October to March, the Treasury said Tuesday in its monthly report. That was up almost 5% from the first half of the 2015 fiscal year, which runs from October through September.

In March, the deficit was $108.04 billion, up from the $52.92 billion gap during the same month a year earlier, though much of the single-month difference was caused by calendar quirks. …

The debt trend is not good. Consider also the following:

We now have nearly $19 trillion in debt as a nation. Eight years ago when it was $8 trillion, then-candidate Barack Obama denounced the fiscal profligacy of such exorbitant debt, only to more than double it during his two terms. Even Hillary Clinton called it a “threat to our national security.” …

Why is this threat hardly even mentioned during this campaign?

Due to the massive debt being amassed by government spending, the role of the dollar as the global reserve currency is threatened.  …

At the current rate of spending, the federal debt is projected by the Congressional Budget Office to be a staggering $24 trillion by 2020. Erskine Bowles, co-chair of the Simpson-Bowles Deficit Reduction Commission has calculated that service on the interest for that debt alone, if rates stay near current record lows, will be nearly $1 trillion. If interest rates rise, we’ll pay more.

The reality is that the USA dollar will lose its position as the world’s reserve currency. This will also result in increased inflation and add additional pressure to raise interest rates.

While most in the USA are oblivious to what is happening, the time will come when the USA will be taken over, and its people that survive be made slaves to partially pay for the debt.

As regular readers of this page realize, around 605-625 B.C. Habakkuk wrote a short book of the Bible that has a lot of implications for the time that we are now in. Notice something that God said in it:

5 “Look among the nations and watch — Be utterly astounded! For I will work a work in your days Which you would not believe, though it were told you. (Habakkuk 1:5).

Many, including a COG I was once part of, claim that Habakkuk was prophesying only something for the past that has already been fulfilled (and that group included Habakkuk 2 in its assessment). And if you only look at verse 5 that looks reasonable. Yet, notice that the above is also repeated in the New Testament:

40 Beware therefore, lest what has been spoken in the prophets come upon you:

41 ‘Behold, you despisers,
Marvel and perish!
For I work a work in your days,
A work which you will by no means believe,
Though one were to declare it to you.'” (Acts 13:40-41)

So, there is certainly a duality in some of what Habakkuk wrote. (More on the work for these times can be found in the articles Preparing for the ‘Short Work’ and The Famine of the Word and The Final Phase of the Work.)

There was something for Habakkuk’s time and something for a later time.

Getting back to Habakkuk, here is some of the shocking things God had him write down specifically related to the end times:

2 Then the Lord answered me and said: “Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it. 3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry. ( Habakkuk 2:2-3)

So what did Habakkuk see in this vision that is so bad people should run/flee who read it?

Notice that the prophecy that is being discussed is specifically for the appointed time of the end. It is a prophecy for our time–and will affect the proud. What will happen is so bad “That he may run who reads it.” What is so bad? Habakkuk continues with the following:

4 “Behold the proud, His soul is not upright in him; But the just shall live by his faith.
5 “Indeed, because he transgresses by wine,He is a proud man,And he does not stay at home. Because he enlarges his desire as hell, And he is like death, and cannot be satisfied, He gathers to himself all nations And heaps up for himself all peoples. 6 “Will not all these take up a proverb against him, And a taunting riddle against him, and say, ‘Woe to him who increases What is not his — how long? And to him who loads himself with many pledges’? 7 Will not your creditors rise up suddenly? Will they not awaken who oppress you? And you will become their booty. 8 Because you have plundered many nations, All the remnant of the people shall plunder you, Because of men’s blood And the violence of the land and the city, And of all who dwell in it. (Habakkuk 2:4-8)

Actually, with an admitted debt of over$19 trillion dollars and plans to increase that much further, the USA has increased pledges more than any nation in the history of the planet, especially considering that it keeps running trade deficits. And on a per capita basis, the United Kingdom is one of the most indebted nations on the earth itself.

Since the above prophecy in Habakkuk will be fulfilled at the time of the end (cf. “The message was true, but the appointed time was long…in the latter days, for the vision refers to many days yet to come”, Daniel 10:1,14). Daniel 8:19, 11:27,29,35 uses the same Hebrew term for “appointed time” as Habakkuk 2:3, while Daniel 10, using a different term, ties the latter days to the time in Daniel 8:19. Habakkuk 2 was not fulfilled in its entirety anciently. Also, it makes little sense that Habakkuk would be directed towards the modern nation of Israel as it does not have enemy creditors. It must be a nation or group of nations with some prominence at the appointed time of the end. As far as “violence of the land” as a contributing factor, this would seem to include crime, military missions, and perhaps riots/civil unrest, but might it also include promotion of violent sports?

While many do not believe it, the time will come when the economy of the USA will be totally devastated and those who ignore Habakkuk’s warning will suffer because of it!

Does the USA have any hope?

Yes, national repentance:

14 if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land (2 Chronicles 7:14)

But at this stage, that does not seem to be likely.

The Bible points out that the descendants of Jacob and Joseph are God’s people (Psalm 77:15; see also Anglo – America in Prophecy & the Lost Tribes of Israel). But, instead of repenting, the USA has been pushing a pro-homosexual, pro-abortion, pro-violence, and pro-debt message. The shock that will come to the USA and the rest of the world (Revelation 13:4) will not just be the end of the USA’s financial dominance, but the end of it militarily (Daniel 11:39).

Hosea prophesied that because the Israelites’ rejected God’s instruction, “the Assyrian shall be his king, because they refused to repent” (Hosea 11:1–5).

While the Bible shows that Assyrian Europe will also eventually be punished for what it will do to the USA (e.g. Isaiah 10:12), the Bible shows that the USA will be punished first (Isaiah 10:5-11; see also Anglo – America in Prophecy & the Lost Tribes of Israel).

The solution to the problems in the USA and Europe is not investments in the dollar of the USA–which will one day fail–but the Kingdom of God.

The USA cannot continue to deficit spend–it has gotten away with this for decades, but the time will come when it will be “game over” for the USA.

The U.S. Government Isn’t Taking China Seriously

I spoke with Dr. Arthur Waldron, a professor of international relations at the University of Pennsylvania and a member of the highly classified Tilelli Commission, which evaluated the China operations of the CIA from 2000 to 2001. He told me China’s foreign policy shifted sharply in 2008. “It is now aggressive and expansionist,” he said, and if it doesn’t change, “it’s going to lead to war.” …

“We haven’t figured out how to react,” Waldron said. “One reason is that the administration is completely divided between people who are still holding the torch for a partnership and people who have had the scales fall from their eyes, and have realized that what we have now is something else. CANBERRA, Australia—Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull will warn China’s leaders in a Beijing meeting Friday that their assertive stance on the South China Sea risks harming the nation’s international ties and its economy, people familiar with plans for the visit said. …

As much as 60% of Australia’s seaborne trade and a third of the world’s maritime traffic passes through the South China Sea, much of it bound to China. Several countries, including the Philippines and Vietnam, have rival claims to islands there.

Mr. Turnbull’s diplomatic pressure on China will be accompanied by efforts to deepen ties with Australia’s biggest trade partner and investor. The Australian leader, who has extensive business experience in China as a former investment banker and entrepreneur, plans to lead a delegation of 1,000 Australian business leaders to Shanghai on Thursday before heading to Beijing.

Chinese investment in Australia soared 33% in 2015 from a year earlier to US$11 billion, a new report from KPMG and the University of Sydney said this week, most notably in the commercial property and agriculture sectors.

With an Australian election due as soon as July and a stuttering domestic economy, Mr. Turnbull hopes to tap fresh growth opportunities through a free-trade pact that eases Chinese investment access to Australia, while boosting exports of Australian agricultural goods and services to China. …

Since Mr. Turnbull’s rise, his conservative government has been beset by issues surrounding Chinese investment in ports and agriculture, as well as Australian property.

So, China is expanding into the Spratly Islands, Australia would like to object, but its Prime Ministers will bring 1,000 business people with him to China, who presumably are financially motivated.  Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull has an election coming up soon and will likely believe that voters will be more interested in the economy than the more distant, though real, prospect that China may have territorial interests in Australia.

The leasing of the port in Darwin to a Chinese firm was an earlier instance of economy over security. And that is common among many politicians. Short-term political interests often cloud long-term interests. Consider the following:

The decision to offer a century-long lease over the Port of Darwin to a Chinese company feeds into the PRC’s global strategic aims. Australia ignores this consideration at its peril, writes Geoff Wade.

The national and indeed international reactions to the Northern Territory Government’s decision to offer a century-long lease over the port of Darwin to Chinese company Landbridge can be divided essentially into two camps.

The dichotomy has on one side those, such as the Trade Minister Andrew Robb and NT Chief Minister Adam Giles, who simply portray the Darwin deal as important for the economic development of northern Australia.

Those of the other side, including both Australian critics and, sotto voce, the Americans, see the deal as a more complex element in growing the People’s Republic of China’s (PRC) influence in Australia, which is increasingly constituting a threat to the country’s independence per se and to Western interests in the South Pacific and globally.

Understanding the significance of this deal requires a much wider lens and broader context than those provided by perceived economic self-interest. China’s national revival and its global economic and strategic extension over the decades since Deng Xiaoping, which Xi Jinping has rebranded as the “Chinese Dream”, provide a much clearer schema in which to situate the Darwin deal.

The “Chinese Dream” involves the reassertion of the economic and political primacy that China claims it has enjoyed over neighbours for millennia. This agenda is now being pursued globally but most intensely in South-East Asia and Australia/New Zealand. …

The Australians hope that the USA will be able to protect them from China, while they also increase trade with China (see After Obama announces stronger military ties to Australia, Australia makes a trade deal with China). Yet, based on comments the Chinese themselves have made in the past, the presence of US troops and other weaponry in China may be used as part of its possible future justification for taking the land of Australia. The Chinese may claim something to the effect that Australia is really a military pawn/representative of the USA and thus, since the USA owes them money (and China owns at least 1.27 trillion dollars worth of US treasury securities), taking over Australia will help settle that debt.

The Australians are interested in making more and more trade deals with China, while relying on the USA for protection. That plan ultimately will not work.

Back in 2009, I came across some interesting Chinese prophecies from the Tang Dynasty (7-10th century). Notice one Chinese prophecy might hint that it involves dividing Australia and New Zealand with Europe. It states:

Population mouth takes territories south of the Yangtze river. The capital is moved again. The two divide up the territories, of which each maintains and defends (Pui-Hua R. Ancient Chinese Prophecies Till the End of the World. AuthorHouse, Bloomington (IN), 2008, p. 164).

China is now heavily invested in Australia and may argue that it has rights to the land. Furthermore, in recent years, the Chinese have been buying a lot of real estate in Australia, beyond purchases of mineral assets.

Notice the following additional Chinese prophecies which tie China in with some from the West.

Beautiful people come from the West. Korea, China and Japan are gradually at peace (Pui-Hua R. Ancient Chinese Prophecies Till the End of the World. AuthorHouse, Bloomington (IN), 2008, p. 85).

All negative forces are subservient…China now has a saint. Even if he is not that great a hero (ibid, p. 89).

Germany and all of Europe are west of China. The “beautiful people” mentioned may be from the Beast and his false prophet which apparently will impress peoples in places including Asia. The “saint” will likely be “the false prophet” also known as the final Antichrist. I suspect that Satan may have inspired these Chinese prophecies so that the Chinese will one day point to them for their justification for getting involved with the Beast power of Revelation 13 (see also Satan’s Plan). The Bible says that the whole world will worship that Beast power (Revelation 13:4,8) and that would thus have to include China.

Scripturally, Asians seem to be involved with the dividing up and selling of people in the future (Ezekiel 27:12-14). Since Australia and New Zealand are the closest of the Anglo-Saxon descended nations to Asia, they seem to be possible candidates to be taken over by the Asians.

Furthermore, notice the following Catholic prophecy:

American Catholic Prophecy (c. early 20th century): The yellow hordes of the Rising Sun and the middle kingdom will pour out their wrath on the people of the island kingdom which had gathered riches through trade (Dupont, Catholic Prophecy: The Coming Chastisement. TAN Books, Rockford (IL), 1973, p. 78).

Australia could considered as an island nation that has gained riches through trade.

What about the Bible? It tells of captivity and finally a regathering:

11 It shall come to pass in that day
That the Lord shall set His hand again the second time
To recover the remnant of His people who are left,
From Assyria and Egypt,
From Pathros and Cush,
From Elam and Shinar,
From Hamath and the islands of the sea.

12 He will set up a banner for the nations,
And will assemble the outcasts of Israel,
And gather together the dispersed of Judah
From the four corners of the earth.
13 Also the envy of Ephraim shall depart,
And the adversaries of Judah shall be cut off;
Ephraim shall not envy Judah,
And Judah shall not harass Ephraim. (Isaiah 11:11-13)

The “islands of the sea” in Isaiah 11 seems to suggest that people will be in various islands. This likely includes some left in Australia, New Zealand, and the UK.

Ezekiel and Isaiah seem to suggest that the Asians will end up with peoples, which would probably include Anglo-Saxon descended ones:

13 Javan, Tubal, and Meshech were your traders. They bartered human lives and vessels of bronze for your merchandise. 14 Those from the house of Togarmah traded for your wares with horses, steeds, and mules. (Ezekiel 27:13-14)

9 That You may say to the prisoners, ‘Go forth,’ To those who are in darkness, ‘Show yourselves.’ “They shall feed along the roads, And their pastures shall be on all desolate heights. 10 They shall neither hunger nor thirst, Neither heat nor sun shall strike them; For He who has mercy on them will lead them, Even by the springs of water He will guide them. 11 I will make each of My mountains a road, And My highways shall be elevated. 12 Surely these shall come from afar; Look! Those from the north and the west, And these from the land of Sinim. (Isaiah 49:9-12)

Tubal and Meshech are related to Russia (see Russia: Its Origins and Prophesied Future) (Meshech with Moscow and Tubal possibly with Siberia). Javan was the son of Japheth, from whom the Oriental/Mongoloid race developed (but some have identified the Greeks as Javan). Others have considered that the Japanese could have descended from one or more of Javan’s sons like Elishah and perhaps Tarshish (see Japan, Its Biblical Past and Future, Part 1: Any Witness?). Islamic and other scholars have somewhat suggested that Javan may be related to China (see China, Its Biblical Past and Future, Part 1: Genesis and Chinese Characters). Some believe that Sinim refers to China and/or others in Asia. Problems are going to hit Australia.

But many improperly believe that the USA will never let this happen. And years ago, the government of Australia concluded that it had to rely on the USA for its defense.

Yet, the USA will not be the salvation of Australia–that will take the return of Jesus Christ and the establishment of the Kingdom of God. Similarly, those in the USA, UK, Canada, and New Zealand will one day realize that the USA will not be able to protect them. Can you see the ‘Handwriting on the Wall’?

The USA remains concerned about China and Russia and that is part of why it has been implementing its so-called ‘Asian pivot’ strategy. Yet, under the Obama Administration, relations between the USA and Russia are probably lower than any point since the Cold War, and China has made more territorial excursions and threats than it previously had. Hillary Clinton has claimed that the ‘Asian pivot’ policy was at least partially her idea (she is the one who may have first coined that term)–and Donald Trump has indicated that he would somehow continue the pivot towards Asia.

Europe is watching all of this and is considering how to better arm itself–and that will not end well for the USA militarily per Daniel 11:39.

The current world order dominated by the USA, and formerly by the UK is being changed. The Bible shows that the time of Jacob’s trouble (Jeremiah 30:7) is getting nearer–and that will greatly affect the USA, the UK, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand which have descendants from Jacob also known as Israel.

The Bible also tells of the final time of the Gentiles. (Luke 21:23-24; Revelation 11:2), which means the time when the descendants of Israel will no longer dominate the world scene. China, Russia, and Europe are taking steps to make that happen intentionally, while the USA and Australia seem to be doing so unintentionally.

One year ago, one April 12, 2015,  Hillary Rodham Clinton announced her candidacy for the office of US President.

Hillary Rodham Clinton has long wanted to become president of the United States. She was the first Lady while her husband Bill was president, she also was a US Senator from New York and was the previous US Secretary of State.

Are there prophecies that could involve her?

I believe so, but first, some additional background may be helpful.

Hillary Clinton was born of parents who were basically of English, Welsh, Scottish, and French descent. Her heritage is of interest biblically. A reading of the Book of Genesis shows that Israel specifically placed his name on the two sons of Joseph named Ephraim and Manasseh (Genesis 48:14-16), neither of which were Jewish.

What does any of this have to do with Hillary Clinton?

Well as it turns out, since everyone had to descend from someone, ultimately their progenitors are somewhere listed in the Bible. Hence, biblical writings and prophecies can often be tied to descendants of those progenitors the Bible discusses.

Certain Jewish sages and others have recognized that the British peoples descended from the tribe of Ephraim (Davidiy Y. The Tribes, 4th edition. Russell-David Publishers, 2011, p. 384; Allen JH. Jacob’s Sceptre and Joseph’s Birthright, 19th edition. Destiny Publishers, 1902, pp. 315-317). Some also felt that by the time the U.S.A. formed, a high amount of the people who went to the land that the U.S. dominates had descended from the ancient tribe of Manasseh (Davidiy, p. 424-426).

In the Bible, the descendants of Joseph’s sons (Genesis 49:22-26) were promised prosperity and blessings, which the U.S.A. and its Anglo-Saxon descended allies have enjoyed. Yet, Jesus warned that “to whom much is given” from such “much will be required” (Luke 12:48). And the Bible also warns of curses for those who forsake God’s laws (Deuteronomy 28:15-57). So, blessings and cursings are in prophecies.

Without going into all the historical details here (many of which can be found in the article Anglo – America in Prophecy & the Lost Tribes of Israel), the connection with Mrs. Clinton’s heritage is of interest.

Why?

As it turns out, the four remaining predominantly British-descended nations (the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand) all have had not only queens (they shared the same ones), but all have already had a woman in the office of prime minister. The prime minister is the chief executive official in a parliamentary system of governance.

Since the physical territorial and other blessings affected the descendents of Ephraim first, it would seem that certain passages of scripture, such as Isaiah 3:12 discussing female rule, would also affect them first.

While the U.S. does not have a parliamentary form of governance with a prime minister, it does have a chief executive official who fills the office of president. And the U.S. has never had a female president.

Now, because the U.S. has already had women rule in high positions such as U.S. Supreme Court justices, senators, Chair of the Federal Reserve, and U.S. Secretary of State, it may not be prophetically required that a woman be its president to fulfill part of the prophecy in Isaiah 3:12. But since the Anglo-Saxon nations have all had females as their top executive, it would follow that the U.S.A. likely could as well. Could that be Hillary Rodham Clinton?

A 9/11 Prophecy?

It has been suggested that the following is a prophecy related to the terrorist attacks of 9/11/2001 (‘The Isaiah 9:10 Judgment’: U.S. in crosshairs. WND, February 20, 2012):

9 All the people will know — Ephraim and the inhabitant of Samaria — Who say in pride and arrogance of heart: 10 ‘The bricks have fallen down, But we will rebuild with hewn stones; The sycamores are cut down, But we will replace them with cedars.” (Isaiah 9:9-10)

Essentially the leaders of ancient Ephraim and Manasseh declared that they would rebuild. A few prophecy-watchers have stated that Isaiah 9:9-10 seems to be related to what happened in the U.S.A. because of the 9/11/2001 attacks.

How could this be related to Hillary Clinton?

Notice some of what Mrs. Clinton stated in 2007:

More than five years after 9/11, we still have not secured our borders, our railways, our mass transit systems, our ports, our chemical plants, our nuclear facilities and more…You know, one of the most discouraging aspects of the Bush-Cheney Administration is the way they have talked down America. They have been fatalistic. I reject that out of hand. We can do whatever we set our minds to. We can roll up our sleeves. We can be problem solvers again. And I have faith that we will answer that call. With your help we will rebuild America. (Clinton, Hillary: “Remarks on Infrastructure,” August 8, 2007. Online by Gerhard Peters and John T. Woolley, The American Presidency Project.)

At least one prophecy-watcher has believed that American politicians making statements like “we will rebuild” are taking defiance types of positions that Isaiah warned against (‘The Isaiah 9:10 Judgment’: U.S. in crosshairs. WND, February 2012). Like ancient Ephraim and Manasseh, God was left out of the equation.

Since certain prophecies about Samaria appear to be directed towards the U.S.A. of the 21st century (e.g. Isaiah 10:4-11; Hosea 7:1-3), and this makes those ties to Isaiah 9 potentially stronger.

Hillary Clinton has been one of several leaders to at least partially fulfill this because of how she has called for rebuilding. And she may do more along this line.

And lest anyone consider this version ‘Anglo-Israelism’ somehow racist, let me clearly state that I am physically not primarily a descendant of any of the children of Israel, I am of predominantly Gentile heritage, and I and our church believe that ethnicity is not a factor in salvation:

12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. 13 For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:12-13)

Warning About Female Leadership

Notice also that the Bible itself warns that if the children of Israel sinned and did not repent, the following would happen:

¹² As for My people, children are their oppressors, And women rule over them. O My people! Those who lead you cause you to err, And destroy the way of your paths. (Isaiah 3:12)

So, we see a specific biblical prophecy warning of a time where there will be female rulers. And, as this has happened to descendants of Ephraim having a female in the top office, this would be expected to affect descendents and Manasseh. Anyway, getting back to Hillary Clinton herself, the Bible warns:

¹⁶ For the leaders of this people cause them to err, And those who are led by them are destroyed. (Isaiah 9:16)

Since multiple millions of the physical descendants of Israel reside in the United States and we are getting close to the end, it is interesting to note that the above prophecy has been fulfilled, to a degree, during administrations of recent U.S. presidents (with issues such as abortion), and potentially will also be during a possible Hillary Clinton presidency.

Hilary Clinton herself has worked on many issues of political, economic, and social significance during her adult life; not all of which are biblically good.

She has long also been a promoter of abortion. Abortion is not good for the U.S.A. Here some of she has stated:

I strongly support Roe v. Wade. I also believe that abortion should be safe, legal and rare and that the government should do much more to support women so that the right guaranteed in our constitution is exercised in rare circumstances. Since the ‘legalization of abortion’ and the Roe vs. Wade U.S. Supreme Court decision that Hillary Clinton has repeatedly publicly endorsed, the U.S.A. has shifted from a creditor nation to a debtor nation (Howard J. Sherman, E. K. Hunt, Reynold F. Nesiba, Phillip Anthony O’Hara. Economics: An Introduction to Traditional and Progressive Views, 7th edition. M.E. Sharpe, 2008, p. 175).

The Bible teaches the following:

16… The Lord hates …. are an abomination to Him:

17 A proud look, A lying tongue, Hands that shed innocent blood, (Proverbs 6:16-17)

The shedding of innocent blood is what abortion does.

Furthermore, the Bible teaches that debt is a curse for disobedience (Deuteronomy 28:15-44). The total amount of federal debt greatly increased under the Obama Administration while Hillary Clinton was U.S. Secretary of State. Although she did not directly cause it, she has not laid out a plan in her political life that will truly reverse this.

And while she at some point in time may change on this, the fact is that Hillary Clinton has taken steps to encourage the production and use of genetically-modified “foods” (cf. Isaiah 55:2) (Paul K, Cummins R. Hillary Clinton is Just Plain Wrong on GMOs. Organic Consumers Association, August 28, 2014). Increased reliance on genetically-modified organisms (GMOs) by the United States puts the nation at major risk for nearly complete crop failures. The Bible warns that famines (Matthew 24:7) and food shortages (Revelation 6:5-6) are coming and Hillary Clinton has helped set the stage for this.

As Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton was a staunch promoter of what she refers to as LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender) rights. So much so, that she listed pushing for LGBT issues in a list she wrote of four of her priorities as Secretary of State (Clinton HR. Hard Choices. Simon & Schuster, 2014).

The Bible warns of those:

25 who exchanged the truth of God for the lie…

26 For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. 27 Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.

28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; 29 being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers, 30 backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful; 32 who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them. (Romans 1:18-32)

Amongst other sins, the above scripture is clearly condemning lesbianism, homosexuality, and other forms of sexual immorality. Hillary Clinton has clearly approved many behaviors which the Bible says leads to death (see also The Bible Condemns Homosexuality).

These are factors that will lead to the death and destruction of the United States. In response to the freedom of religious conscience law passed in Indiana in the Spring of 2015, Hillary Clinton tweeted:

“Sad this new Indiana law can happen in America today. We shouldn’t discriminate against ppl bc of who they love #LGBT” (Hillary Clinton tweet as reported by Kelly A. What The 2016 Hopefuls Are Saying About Indiana’s ‘Religious Freedom’ Law. NPR, March 31, 2015).

Mrs. Clinton considers her understanding of the homosexual agenda more important than the rights of people to act according to their religious beliefs in commercial settings. This is wrong and prophetically disastrous.

Speaking of religion, her religious views hint that she is somewhat ‘ecumenical’ (e.g. Clinton, Hard Choices, p. 217). An ecumenical power is warned about in the Bible and is expected to rise up in the end times (Zechariah 2:6-8; Revelation 17; 18). I expect her to make inter-faith/ecumenical supporting statements (see also Beware: Protestants Going Towards Ecumenical Destruction!).

She Wants Religion in Her Own Image

Shortly after she announced her presidential campaign, Hillary Clinton made some disturbing statements:

In a fiery speech Democratic presidential hopeful Hillary Rodham Clinton argues that deep seated religious beliefs must be changed so that everyone can enjoy full participation in every aspect of society.

Clinton, speaking in Manhattan on Thursday at the sixth annual Women in The World Summit, declared that “deep-seated cultural codes, religious beliefs and structural biases” must be changed both in the U.S. and around the world in order to achieve social justice.

Clinton, after discussing the pressing social justice issues of domestic violence and women’s reproductive health, said:

Laws have to be backed up with resources and political will. And deep-seated cultural codes, religious beliefs and structural biases have to be changed.

As I have said and as I believe, the advancement of the full participation of women and girls in every aspect of their societies is the great unfinished business of the 21st century and not just for women but for everyone — and not just in far away countries but right here in the United States.

Hillary Clinton wants religious views changed so that people will embrace abortion, homosexuality, and other immoral positions that Christians should condemn. She does not seem to be in full agreement of the first amendment to the Constitution of the United States on religious liberties.

International Matters

She has made direct statements related to various international matters that have prophetic implications.

Hillary Clinton is considered to have been an early promoter of what has been called the pivot strategy towards Asia (Clinton, Hillary. America’s Pacific Century. Foreign Policy, November 2011; Clinton, Hard Choices, pp. 41-46). This ‘pivot’ has partially been responsible for a decreased USA military presence in Europe. Aspects of this will hurt the U.S.A. later as it will be taken over by a European power called the King of the North (Daniel 11:39).

In her book, Hard Choices, Hillary Clinton glowingly writes about how well the Obama Administration restored relations with Europe (Clinton, Hard Choices, p. 206). Yet, the Europeans are incensed about U.S.A. espionage to the point that various Europeans believe this has caused irreparable damage to relations with the U.S.A. (see also The Snowden Leaks are Leading to the Destruction of the USA). Hillary Clinton is believed to have approved many of the spying actions that the Europeans are incensed over (Clyne M. Dick Morris: Hillary Surely Knew About Govt Eavesdropping. Newsmax.com, April 6, 2015).

Hillary Clinton has encouraged the formation of international coalitions, including predominantly Islamic ones. The Bible tells of this type of coalition happening. One that plans to destroy places like the U.S.A. in Psalm 83:3-8 and another (led by the King of the South) which will have a failed attempt to attack Europe (Daniel 11:40-43) after Europe is able to take over the U.S.A. and some of its Anglo-Saxon descended allies.

Hillary Clinton seems to be the type of person who would support the ‘peace deal’ of Daniel 9:27 (see The ‘Peace Deal’ of Daniel 9:2), which precedes the start of the Great Tribulation (see also When Will the Great Tribulation Begin? and/or watch Can the Great Tribulation Start in 2016?).

Furthermore, the Bible tells of having the gates of enemies as a blessing (Genesis 24:60). Losing sea gates would be consistent with being an end time curse (e.g. Deuteronomy 28:58-63). The Obama Administration, while Hillary Clinton was Secretary of State, seemed to be the first in U.S. history to significantly support the idea of giving the “sea gate” of the Falkland Islands to Argentina, which is a position in dramatic opposition to the residents of the Falklands (Drury I. With friends like these: Hillary Clinton wades into the Falklands row… and backs the Argentineans. DailyMail, March 2, 2010; Berger J. Obama Administration Backs Argentina Over U.K. in Falklands Dispute. FoxNews.com, June 10, 2011). Prophetically, I believe the Falklands will one day end up with Argentina (see also Will the UK Lose Gibraltar and the Falkland Islands?).

Does any of this mean that Hillary Clinton MUST win and become President of the United States?

No.

Yet, by virtue of her timing and certain policies, if she does become President of the U.S.A., Hillary Clinton will likely implement policies that will move toward the fulfillment of many prophecies.

Lest some of you discount all this, recall that the Bible teaches:

20 Do not despise prophecies. 21 Test all things; hold fast what is good. (1 Thessalonians 5:20-22)

Related to end time prophetic events, notice what Jesus said:

36 Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man. (Luke 21:36)

Pray and do not despise prophecies.

Let me also say that Hillary Rodham Clinton IS NOT the final Antichrist.

Of course, none of the expected candidates for USA president will turn the nation back to God, thus none will truly fix the problems in the USA. It will take the return of Jesus Christ and the establishment of the Kingdom of God to do that.

In a separate interview with Fox Business, Mr. Rickards offered another critical reason why investors should own physical gold:

Project Prophecy: Economic Collapse Starting in 2015?

Jim Rickards once worked for the CIA and also was once part of a a USA government program called called ‘Project Prophecy.’ He has a video were he claims that starting in 2015, the USA may have economic collapse resulting in a 25-Year Great Depression. He mainly cites debt figures and claims advises alternatives to the USA dollar which he says will collapse? What did Rand Paul state? Can the USA dollar collapse? Does anything he advises agree with Bible prophecy? What does the Bible show is coming? Does the Bible show a future collapse of the USA dollar? What about the Euro, silver, or gold? Dr. Thiel addresses these.

As far as gold goes, while I would not describe myself as a ‘gold bug’ (and suspect it may go down in value after the ‘peace deal’ of Daniel 9:27 is in place), the Bible does show that gold will have value before and after the USA is destroyed:

36 “Then the king shall do according to his own will: he shall exalt and magnify himself above every god, shall speak blasphemies against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the wrath has been accomplished; for what has been determined shall be done. 37 He shall regard neither the God of his fathers nor the desire of women, nor regard any god; for he shall exalt himself above them all. 38 But in their place he shall honor a god of fortresses; and a god which his fathers did not know he shall honor with gold and silver, with precious stones and pleasant things. 39 Thus he shall act against the strongest fortresses with a foreign god, which he shall acknowledge, and advance its glory; and he shall cause them to rule over many, and divide the land for gain.

40 “At the time of the end the king of the South shall attack him; and the king of the North shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter the countries, overwhelm them, and pass through. 41 He shall also enter the Glorious Land, and many countries shall be overthrown; but these shall escape from his hand: Edom, Moab, and the prominent people of Ammon. 42 He shall stretch out his hand against the countries, and the land of Egypt shall not escape. 43 He shall have power over the treasures of gold and silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt; also the Libyans and Ethiopians shall follow at his heels. (Daniel 11:36-43)

The USA is the power with the strongest fortresses (vs. 39), and notice that gold still has value after it is destroyed and its lands divided. By the way, note that it is a European power that prizes and ends up with the gold of Egypt above.

What about interest rates?

Because as the world’s primary reserve currency, the USA can just electronically create (counterfeit) money, it has been able to manipulate  interest rates.

Notice something about that from a writer affiliated with the investment broker Charles Schwab:

 “How can the Federal Reserve raise interest rates when our debt is so high? Won’t higher rates just add to the burden?”  …

he CBO projects that, under current budget laws, government spending will rise 5% per year over the next decade while revenues will grow by only 4%. As a result, the annual deficit is projected to rise to 4.9% of GDP by 2026, compared with 2.9% of GDP in 2016.

Higher deficits will add to the debt, with the amount of debt held by the public projected to increase to 86% of GDP. That would be the highest since 1947, and more than twice the long-term average of 40% of GDP. …

Impact of rising interest rates

So how would higher interest rates affect all this? To start, higher rates would mean the federal government would have to pay more interest to Treasury security holders, and the resulting higher interest costs would add to the deficit and accumulated debt.

The CBO assumes the average interest rate the government pays on debt held by the public will increase from 1.7% in 2015 to 3.5% by 2026. It also projects a sharp rise in interest rates, with the average rate on three-month Treasury bills rising from 0.5% in 2016 to 3.2% a decade later. It sees the average rate on 10-year Treasuries rising from 2.6% to 4.1%. …

The combination of rising interest rates and declining remittances from the Fed could help push overall interest costs from $223 billion in 2015 to $839 billion in 2026. Relative to the size of the economy, that would increase interest costs from 1.3% of GDP to 3% of GDP over the next decade. …

Notice that the above indicates that what is happening is bad, is planned to get worse, and although this is increasing risk, the Fed and the government plan to go down a dangerous path.

I would contend that the analysis is much too optimistic.

What happens if interest rates get back to more inflationary, or even more historical, levels?

Well, it will be ‘game over’ for the US dollar.

Interest costs will exceed all US tax revenues.  And perhaps rise to exceed the total output of the entire USA. This will crash the value of the US dollar, which is why some believe that gold is the answer.  But of course, governments have confiscated gold in the past and likely will again in the future.

There will be ‘bumps in the road’ until the Europeans (Daniel 2:41-43) and others are able to replace the USA dollar. There even could be an extended time that the USA dollar will remain on top.

But that will change quickly.

Notice what the Bible prophesies:

3 For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape. 4 But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief. (1 Thessalonians 5:3-4)

2 And the Lord answered me:

“Write the vision;
make it plain on tablets,
so he may run who reads it.
3 For still the vision awaits its appointed time;
it hastens to the end—it will not lie.
If it seems slow, wait for it;
it will surely come; it will not delay.

4 “Behold, his soul is puffed up; it is not upright within him,
but the righteous shall live by his faith.

5 “Moreover, wine is a traitor,
an arrogant man who is never at rest.
His greed is as wide as Sheol;
like death he has never enough.
He gathers for himself all nations
and collects as his own all peoples.”

6 Shall not all these take up their taunt against him, with scoffing and riddles for him, and say,

“Woe to him who heaps up what is not his own—
for how long?—
and loads himself with pledges!”
7 Will not your debtors suddenly arise,
and those awake who will make you tremble?
Then you will be spoil for them.
8 Because you have plundered many nations,
all the remnant of the peoples shall plunder you,
for the blood of man and violence to the earth,
to cities and all who dwell in them. (Habakkuk 2:2-8; English Standard Version)

The arrogance of political leaders in increasing the debt and manipulating interest rates will not happen forever. The USA is the most indebted nation in the history of humanity and those in it should try to understand this prophecy.

Those who think the current world order with the USA’s dollar on top will last through the end of this century are in error. Many distrust it, and the time will come when creditors will rise up.
