Former CIA operator Dr. Steve Pieczenik has surfaced from the shadow world to warn American citizens about a clandestine coup instigated by the Clinton campaign. Steve Pieczenik, MD, PhD, is a psychiatrist, former United States Department of State official, author, and publisher. He Studied at Cornell, Harvard, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology; his credentials are unimpeachable.  He also worked as a spook, a psychological intelligence officer, with the Central Intelligence Agency. Last week, he published a YouTube video asserting that he—and other former intelligence operatives—is currently involved in an electronic counter-coup to prevent Hillary Clinton from reaching the White House. According to Pieczenik, he and his associates provided WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange with the controversial emails that have mired Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign.

Moreover, our Washington source, a former Federal agent and friend of Dr. Pieczenik, provided alarming information on yet unreleased Clinton emails. He spoke privately with Dr. Pieczenik, and learned a truth that could shake the world to its core.

“We have yet to provide Assange with all the emails,” Pieczenik told our source. “Nibiru is real, and Hillary Clinton knows about it.” A “top secret” email, siphoned from Clinton’s controversial private email server, paints a sinister picture, proving that Clinton helped orchestrate a Nibiru dis-information campaign while she served as Secretary of State in 2010.

The Clinton authored email was sent to Frank Podesta and Huma Abedin. It outlined a comprehensive, sinister plan to employ dis-information specialists to psychologically influence public opinion about Nibiru, said to be a brown dwarf star and seven orbiting planets on a near collision course with Earth.

An excerpt from the unreleased email reads: “According to latest NASA/NSA research, the object currently known as Nibiru/Planet X is rapidly approaching the inner solar system. Its effects are being felt on the planet already. We must contain this until the last possible moment. Please immediately use all possible, plausible sources to discourage people from believing such a threat exists. To sway/condition opinion, sources must infiltrate/coopt commonly accessed internet forums/websites.”

The 5,000-word email contains additional information on Nibiru’s threat to planet Earth, including, our source says, an expected date of arrival.

Anyway, I do not believe the above is accurate.

Yet, even if it is true, there is no Planet X, IX, Nibiru that will destroy the earth.

Some claimed ‘Planet Nine’ was Nibiru. Notice also the following:

Don’t believe the doomsday hype about the putative Planet Nine. … the New York Post published a video claiming that Planet Nine — a hypothesized world in the solar system’s far outer reaches — could send asteroids and comets hurtling into Earth soon, with potentially devastating consequences. …

The New York Post’s misleading video may result from a conflation of Planet Nine with other hypothesized, undiscovered objects in Earth’s neck of the cosmic woods — namely, Nibiru and Nemesis.

Nibiru is a proposed large planet that conspiracy theorists have predicted will crash into and destroy Earth. Many prognostications had the cataclysm occurring in 2012, to coincide with the supposed “Mayan apocalypse.” There is no evidence that Nibiru exists, or that such an impact is imminent. (Some variations of the Nibiru myth call it Planet X, but this latter moniker can also refer to a large world whose existence was first postulated by astronomer Percival Lowell in the early 20th century, to explain perceived oddities in the orbits of Uranus and Neptune. So it can get a bit confusing.)

Nemesis is a small star or brown dwarf (a “failed star” that’s considerably larger than a planet) hypothesized to zoom through space not far from the sun. Back in 2012, many were concerned about Planet X, also known as Planet Nibiru. Some claimed it would destroy the earth years ago, some said last month. I denounced both as false.

The so-called science is that according to an old NASA report, there could be another planet. A tenth planet, which some then called planet X as it had not been found. Various ones have suggested that this planet will crash into the Earth.

Here are two reports about it:

What about “Planet X”?

The most cataclysmic of prophesied end-time “natural” disasters is the scenario of a collision or near-miss of another planet with the earth. The mysterious orb that supposedly threatens us has been called “Planet X” or “Planet Nibiru,” and some expect it to arrive on Dec. 12, 2012.

But what is the evidence that this will occur? There is no scientific evidence that supports this idea. The idea came “not by radio signals from the cosmos, but [instead has supposedly been] channeled through medium and Zeto envoy Nancy Lieder, who was in contact with . . . altruistic aliens” (Govert Schilling, The Hunt for Planet X, 2009, p. 115) (Published in Good News, 2012)

Prophetic dates come and go. What about December 21, 2012?

Some say the day of doom is at the door. Alignment of planets, a collision with Nibiru, a shifting polar axis, reversal of earth’s magnetic field, a “beam” from the Milky Way’s center, catastrophic earthquakes and tsunamis — all coming to their climactic focus on December 21 of this year! (McBride J. Bible Advocate, 2012)

I denounced the Planet X destruction theory back in 2012 and explained that it would not destroy the Earth then. Notice something that I posted on December 1, 2012:

I thought I would provide a list of ten ‘predictions’ related to the world ending this month and the truth why they are all wrong…

PREDICTION: Some claim that the galaxy will be in perfect alignment and cause massive disruptions on December 21/22, 2012 or that planet Nibiru will hit.
TRUTH: Yet astronomers do not believe that the alignment (which is not galaxy-wide nor perfect) could possibly generate enough gravitational flow to cause massive disruption nor do they believe in destruction via an invented planet called Nibiru…

Stories about the fictional planet Nibiru and predictions of the end of the world in December 2012 have blossomed on the Internet. While the world as we know it will end some day, it cannot possibly be in December 2012.

There have not been enough of the biblically-required signs (see, for example, Matthew 24 and Daniel 11:27-39) fulfilled for it to be this early. (Thiel B. Ten ‘End of the World Predictions’ That Will Be Proven False This Month. December 1, 2012)

And, of course, I was right then.

And no planet is about to come crashing to the Earth this year and destroy the Earth.

Yet, it is true that something from space, probably an asteroid or a comet, is prophesied in the Bible to hit the Earth and cause massive damage (Revelation 8:10-11). But not before 2021.

A large comet hitting the earth would also seem to have similar effects to that of a medium-sized asteroid. And having something actually hit the earth and do massive damage is predicted in the Bible.

But this object, called Wormwood in the Bible, cannot hit next year.

Why?

Over 1900 years ago, the Apostle John was inspired to write about Wormwood and more in the Book of Revelation. If you look at the sequence of events that proceed Wormwood, it is obvious all that cannot happen between now and next month. Notice that the first nine verses happen prior to Wormwood falling from heaven:

1 When He opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour. 2 And I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and to them were given seven trumpets. 3 Then another angel, having a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all the saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne. 4 And the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, ascended before God from the angel’s hand. 5 Then the angel took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar, and threw it to the earth. And there were noises, thunderings, lightnings, and an earthquake.

6 So the seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.

7 The first angel sounded: And hail and fire followed, mingled with blood, and they were thrown to the earth. And a third of the trees were burned up, and all green grass was burned up.

8 Then the second angel sounded: And something like a great mountain burning with fire was thrown into the sea, and a third of the sea became blood. 9 And a third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed.

10 Then the third angel sounded: And a great star fell from heaven, burning like a torch, and it fell on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water. 11 The name of the star is Wormwood. A third of the waters became wormwood, and many men died from the water, because it was made bitter. (Revelation 8:1-11)

It should also be noted that there are MANY EVENTS that also have to take place before the above events as well. Because of that, it is biblically impossible for the Earth to be destroyed by something from space for years.

Notice that Wormwood does not fall until after the third trumpet associated with the seventh seal of Revelation is blown. Well, this would mean that the fifth and sixth seal would also have already been opened–which are mentioned in Revelation 6:7-17, and the 144,000 numbered as shown in Revelation 7. And I should add that the fifth seal of Revelation cannot possibly be opened for at least 3 1/2 years from now (see When Will the Great Tribulation Begin? 2013, 2014, or 2015?), with over 4 years the likely minimum.

Planet Nibiru per se does not exist, though Planet Nine might. Yet Wormwood does exist–but again Wormwood cannot hit for several years at the earliest. That does not mean that there cannot be any problems from meteorites, comets, asteroids, solar flares, etc. But it does mean that the world will not end for at least several years.

Why bother to post about the ‘Nibiru prediction’?

Because there are many false and heretical leaders that lead people astray on prophecy. Sometimes they mention the Bible to try to act like God sanctions their nonsense. And it is not just the secular fringe people, but also those who claim to be Christian or even in the Church of God.

The Sardis and Laodicean Church of God groups, despite a few claiming to have prophets, do not understand prophecy, the work, enough of the truth, etc., and that is part of why they will have to go through the Great Tribulation. CG7, a group believed to somewhat represent Sardis, takes a preterist view that basically most end time prophecies were fulfilled long ago and are for the past. The Laodiceans have so many prophetic misunderstandings, that unless they repent and change (Revelation 3), they will not possibly know when the Great Tribulation will start until it is too late.

The various COGs hold to one or more improper prophetic opinions that differ from that of the Continuing Church of God. A list of three dozen or so of them can be found in the article The Laodicean Church Era. Because of this, unless they change, those outside of the Continuing Church of God will not know when the Great Tribulation will begin until it is too late to flee (cf. Matthew 24:15-20; Revelation 12:14-17). The Apostle John recorded that there would be two groups at the end and that one would flee and be protected from the Great Tribulation (Revelation 12:14-16), while the other would not be (Revelation 12:17). ‘Independents’ would also be part of that latter group that will not know, unless they change and heed what the Bible teaches (watch Zephaniah’s ‘Gather Together’ Prophecy).

We in the Continuing Church of God “have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts” (2 Peter 1:19, KJV).”

Thus, you can be certain that “Planet Nine” will NOT destroy the Earth this month or this year.

Planet Nibiru to Destroy Earth by 2017?

Some say NASA has identified Plant X, also called Planet Nine or Nibiru or even Planet 7X. One prophecy watcher has stated that this planet will destroy Planet Earth by January 1, 2017. Is this possible? While the Bible tells of a destructive power called ‘Wormwood’ will come from outer space to destroy much of the Earth in Revelation 8, can Wormwood hit by 2017? This weekend, when American clocks turn back an hour at Nov. 6 at 2:00 a.m. Eastern Time, the move will bring an end to the period of Daylight Saving Time that marked precisely a century since the first such policy went into effect.

That Daylight Saving Time began in Germany on May 1, 1916, in the hopes that it would save energy during World War I, according to Michael Downing, author of Spring Forward: The Annual Madness of Daylight Saving Time. But, though Germans were first to mess with their clocks, they likely got the idea from Britain—and from someone whose ideas about Daylight Saving had little to do with conserving fuel.

William Willett had in 1907 published The Waste of Daylight. Willett was inspired by an early-morning epiphany that “the sun shines upon the land for several hours each day while we are asleep” and yet there “remains only a brief spell of declining daylight in which to spend the short period of leisure at our disposal.” Though he did mention that it would save money to reduce the use of artificial lighting, his main purpose was the increase enjoyment of sunlight. He lobbied Parliament for such legislation until his death in 1915—not living to see the law passed in England shortly after it was in Germany. …

Across the pond, the first U.S. law on Daylight Saving Time went into effect on March 19, 1918 for the same fuel saving reasons, about a year after the country entered the war. Because of the clock change, sunset will be over an hour earlier next Friday in the USA, Canada, Bahamas, Bermuda, Cuba, and Haiti. This change happened in Europe and certain other lands earlier.

Those of us who observe the weekly Sabbath from sunset Friday to sunset Saturday may wish to remember this time change. In my own case, we will have to close our office earlier than normal for the next several months on Fridays.

This will affect not only those in the Churches of God, but others who keep the seventh-day Sabbath such as observant Jews, Messianic Jews, and Seventh-day Adventists.

Many in Australia have concerns about accepting more refugees:

Hundreds of people rallied in Melbourne, Australia, on Saturday after a proposal to house refugees locally drew people both for and against the measure.

Protesters belonging to anti-Islam groups said they were against a plan to settle 120 refugees from Syria and Iraq at a senior housing facility in the Eltham neighborhood.

Anti-immigration demonstrators carried Australian flags and marched near the Eltham’s Andrew Park. Police presence kept groups separated to avoid clashes.

Pro-refugee supporters, part of the group “Welcome to Eltham,” carried colorful signs that read “Eltham says yes to refugees.”

“Most people sort of, keep to themselves. A lot of them are in their eighties and nineties and yes, they just keep to themselves. They are a bit concerned about it but they will just wait and see,” John Conroy, resident of Saint Vincent’s Care Services, said.

The Sydney Morning Herald reported that locals were discussing the idea to settle refugees in the St. Vincent’s facility, but mostly they were not happy that people from other areas were flooding to Eltham to demonstrate. …

In 2015, the Australian government announced a one-time proposal to accept 12,000 refugees who were running away from areas of conflict such as Iraq and Syria.

But last week, officials announced a plan to permanently ban asylum seekers who try to reach the continent by boat from entering under any visa category.

Meanwhile in Sydney others decided to rally for the closing of detention centers—places that have been heavily criticized by human rights groups.

“The detention centers are no suitable environments for the health of all detainees, but the effects on children are far worse,” Brian Owler, president of the Australian Medical Association, said in a statement.

According to immigration figures as of August 31, there are close to 1,589 asylum-seekers among them 1,382 men, 114 women and 93 children being held on Manus Island and Nauru.

How many Islamic refugees will stay in Australia is unclear.

But what is clear is that the Bible has prophecies of terrorism:

14 ‘But if you do not obey Me, and do not observe all these commandments, 15 and if you despise My statutes, or if your soul abhors My judgments, so that you do not perform all My commandments, but break My covenant, 16 I also will do this to you: I will even appoint terror over you, wasting disease and fever which shall consume the eyes and cause sorrow of heart. And you shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it. 17 I will set My face against you, and you shall be defeated by your enemies. Those who hate you shall reign over you, and you shall flee when no one pursues you. (Leviticus 26:14-17)

25 The sword shall destroy outside; There shall be terror within (Deuteronomy 32:25)

12 “Cry and wail, son of man; For it will be against My people, Against all the princes of Israel. Terrors including the sword will be against My people; Therefore strike your thigh. (Ezekiel 21:12)

12 Behold, these are the ungodly,Who are always at ease; They increase in riches…19 Oh, how they are brought to desolation, as in a moment! They are utterly consumed with terrors. (Psalms 73:12,19)

25 Because you disdained all my counsel, And would have none of my rebuke, 26 I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your terror comes, 27 When your terror comes like a storm, And your destruction comes like a whirlwind, When distress and anguish come upon you. (Proverbs 1:25-27)

5 Also they are afraid of height, And of terrors in the way (Ecclesiastes 12:5).

The Bible also shows that Palestinians, apparently along with some Syrians, are prophesied to be involved in war, and apparently a terroristic one:

8 The Lord sent a word against Jacob, And it has fallen on Israel. 9 All the people will know — Ephraim and the inhabitant of Samaria — Who say in pride and arrogance of heart: 10 ‘The bricks have fallen down, But we will rebuild with hewn stones; The sycamores are cut down, But we will replace them with cedars.” 11 Therefore the Lord shall set up The adversaries of Rezin against him, And spur his enemies on, 12 The Syrians before and the Philistines behind; And they shall devour Israel with an open mouth. (Isaiah 9:8-12)

Since the above prophecy involves Ephraim and Samaria, this is indicative that their descendants in Australia, Canada, UK, New Zealand,  and USA will be attacked (see Anglo – America in Prophecy & the Lost Tribes of Israel). The devouring of them before and behind is consistent with terrorist actions. Psalm 83 also points to a terrorist plot to affect the USA and the Anglo-Saxon descended peoples.

Earlier this year, the Islamic State publication Dabiq had an article titled Why We Hate You & Why We Fight You, it give six reasons why:

1. We hate you, first and foremost, because you are disbelievers; you reject the oneness of Allah – whether you realize it or not – by making partners for Him in worship, you blaspheme against Him, claiming that He has a son, you fabricate lies against His prophets and messengers, and you indulge in all manner of devilish practices. …

2. We hate you because your secular, liberal societies permit the very things that Allah has prohibited while banning many of the things He has permitted, a matter that doesn’t concern you because you Christian disbelief and paganism separate between religion and state, thereby granting supreme authority to your whims and desires via the legislators you vote into power. In doing so, you desire to rob Allah of His right to be obeyed and you wish to usurp that right for yourselves. “Legislation is not but for Allah” (Yusuf 40). Your secular liberalism has led you to tolerate and even support “gay rights,” to allow alcohol, drugs, fornication, gambling, and usury to become widespread, and to encourage the people to mock those who denounce these filthy sins and vices. As such, we wage war against you to stop you from spreading your disbelief and debauchery – your secularism and nationalism, your perverted liberal values, your Christianity and atheism – and all the depravity and corruption they entail. …

3. In the case of the atheist fringe, we hate you and wage war against you because you disbelieve in the existence of your Lord and Creator. You witness the extraordinarily complex makeup of created beings, and the astonishing and inexplicably precise physical laws that govern the entire universe, but insist that they all came about through randomness and that one should be faulted, mocked, and ostracized for recognizing that the astonishing signs we witness day after day are the creation of the Wise, All-Knowing Creator and not the result of accidental occurrence. …

4. We hate you for your crimes against Islam and wage war against you to punish you for your transgressions against our religion. As long as your subjects continue to mock our faith, insult the prophets of Allah – including Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad  – burn the Quran, and openly vilify the laws of the Shari’ah, we will continue to retaliate, not with slogans and placards, but with bullets and knives. …

5. We hate you for your crimes against the Muslims; your drones and fighter jets bomb, kill, and maim our people around the world, and your puppets in the usurped lands of the Muslims oppress, torture, and wage war against anyone who calls to the truth. As such, we fight you to stop you from killing our men, women, and children, to liberate those of them whom you imprison and torture, and to take revenge for the countless Muslims who’ve suffered as a result of your deeds.

6. We hate you for invading our lands and fight you to repel you and drive you out. As long as there is an inch of territory left for us to reclaim, jihad will continue to be a personal obligation on every single Muslim. …

we will never stop hating you until you embrace Islam

The Islamic State considers that Islam is a religion of war (watch also Why does the Islamic State kill and terrorize?). They consider that the people of Australia are westerners that have supported actions against Islam. Those who think that the refugees getting refuge Australia will always be grateful and none will turn to terroristic acts ignore what many in Islam believe.

Oh yes, it is true I was quoting an article from the radical fringe of Islam, but even generally accepted Islamic writings promote war and terrorism.

Without national repentance, Australia is doomed.  Protests for or against refugees will not change that.

The same holds true for the USA , UK, Canada, and New Zealand as well.

In the latest Letter to the Brethren, we in the Continuing Church of God (CCOG) reported that 1900 people attended our fourteen Feast of Tabernacles sites around the world in 2016. Based upon historical data from other groups, it appears that the Continuing Church of God had the fifth or sixth largest attendance of any Church of God (COG) group whose top leaders had once been part of the old Worldwide Church of God.

The top five groups, in order of likely festival attendance in 2016, probably were UCG, LCG, COGWA, PCG, and CCOG. There is also a Portuguese-speaking group in Angola that may be in the top five, but no direct statistics have been seen.

The Continuing Church of God has reports from its leaders, often along with photographs, related to its fourteen Feast of Tabernacles sites in the article: 2016 Feast of Tabernacles Report: How Many Sites? How Many People Attended?

Also in its latest Letter to the Brethren the Continuing Church of God reported that because of financial and other reasons (like distance and health) not all in the Continuing Church of God were able to get to a festival site.

That Letter to the Brethren also mentioned that there are now over 2000 people (including children) that are part of the Continuing Church of God. The actual total is over 2200 claiming membership, not counting those in one African country that CCOG Pastor Evans Ochieng has not yet visited. This total would seem to make the Continuing Church of God about the fifth or sixth largest COG group whose leaders were once part of the old Worldwide Church of God.

The reason I use the word “seem” is that many COG groups are not forthcoming with the general public on the size of their membership (groups like PCG, COGaic, and RCG come to mind that way, plus I do not have statistics on all the groups that had leaders once part of the Worldwide Church of God). But based upon past reports and comments, the Continuing Church of God looks as if it has the fifth or sixth largest membership.

The Continuing Church of God has grown substantially each year since it was necessary to form as a separate entity on December 28, 2012.

As far as Church of God growth goes, one-time Worldwide Church of God evangelist, and now presiding evangelist of the Living Church of God, wrote the folloiwing:

Personal – Pray for Our Financial Growth!

One special prayer that I would ask all of you to join me in praying is this: let us all together beseech God to grant us in this Work at least half of the financial increase that He gave Mr. Herbert W. Armstrong for about 35 years! For, as Mr. Armstrong explained many times, God gave the Work under his direction about 30 percent increase year by year for about 35 years.

Near the end of his ministry, with personal problems and sins growing throughout the Church, those blessings were taken away or cut back. …

God Almighty is still alive, He is working through us right now, and—as these terrible end-time events approach—we really need to shake the world with the knowledge of His Kingdom far more than we have ever done. Remember, brethren, we are only “beginning to fight.” We have not yet finished! So again, since Jesus told us: “ask and you shall receive,” we can with faith ask God to give us at least one-half of the financial increase He gave His Church all those years when Mr. and Mrs. Armstrong were still alive and doing the Work. That would be a 15 percent financial increase of this Work year by year. I hope all of you will sincerely and zealously do your part. But I am not going to “press you” on that. For that is up to you and between you and God as you “walk with Him” in the fear of God. But I feel that God would want us to cry out and ask Him for the blessing that I have already indicated. Then, we could go on far more television stations, greatly increase our impact over the Internet—which is certainly the “wave of the future”—increase our personal appearance campaigns and “grow” the Work in every possible way.

When I first began this present Work back in 1992, I was a little embarrassed to ask for money. …

Most of you realize this. If you go around your neighborhood you find virtually no one who has heard of the Living Church of God or any of the other groups that are trying to do God’s Work today. This needs to change! So I hope all of us can begin to fast and to pray fervently and ask God to help us stir ourselves to do our part far more zealously and begin to serve our Creator with zeal and to give of our physical substance sacrificially as we are able. Some of our brethren are already doing this. But I am fully aware that many of our brethren—often fine brethren who mean well and who are already giving a little bit of their substance—are nevertheless sitting on hundreds of thousands or millions of dollars worth of money, property and other resources they very rarely touch to help do the Work of the living God at the very end of this age.

Think of it! …

God’s Word tells us: “Now the multitude of those who believed were of one heart and one soul; neither did anyone say that any of the things he possessed was his own, but they had all things in common.And with great power the apostles gave witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And great grace was upon them all.Nor was there anyone among them who lacked; for all who were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the proceeds of the things that were sold,and laid them at the apostles’ feet; and they distributed to each as anyone had need. And Joses, who was also named Barnabas by the apostles (which is translated Son of Encouragement), a Levite of the country of Cyprus, having land, sold it, and brought the money and laid it at the apostles’ feet” (Acts 4:32–37). God does not ask us to “have all things in common” as did these first-century Christians, but we can still be moved and inspired today by their great zeal.

Is it too much to ask that all of us follow the pattern of the early Church and give of ourselves, our time, our energy and our possessions in the very service of Jesus Christ at the end of this age?

So according to what he wrote above, Dr. Meredith believes that sins cause COG groups to have less than 30% growth, so he is hoping for 15%. He urged his membership to think about it. Well, there are sins in LCG (see Why Bob Thiel Left the Living Church of God).  According to Dr. Meredith’s own logic, there are severe problems with LCG as he does not believe they are giving as he thinks they should. Plus LCG has other problems.

Consider the following:

42 Jesus said to them, “Have you never read in the Scriptures:

‘The stone which the builders rejected
Has become the chief cornerstone.
This was the Lord’s doing,
And it is marvelous in our eyes’?

43 “Therefore I say to you, the kingdom of God will be taken from you and given to a nation bearing the fruits of it.  44 And whoever falls on this stone will be broken; but on whomever it falls, it will grind him to powder.” (Matthew 21:42-44)

LCG, like most other COG groups, has rejected proper church governance (see The Bible, Peter, Paul, John, Polycarp, Herbert W. Armstrong, Roderick C. Meredith, and Bob Thiel on Church Government and How To Determine If Someone is a True Prophet of God). And the known facts demonstrate that LCG has not hit the type of growth that Dr. Meredith states show God’s blessing.

Yet, we in the Continuing Church of God have exceeded that 30% growth standard Dr. Meredith is pointed to each year–both in membership and in income–since our formation. Now that does not mean that God will continue to provide that growth each year, but so far it is a fact.

The plain truth is that the Continuing Church of God has been the fastest growing of the top ten COG groups since it hit the top ten.  And obviously the Continuing Church of God grew faster than the other supposedly 300 COG groups that somehow split from the old Worldwide Church of God to get to this level.

This growth was not done with large amounts of money as we believe we have the least income of the top ten largest groups with origins in the old WCG.

Of course the Bible says:

6 This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel:
‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’
Says the Lord of hosts. (Zechariah 4:6)

7 For we walk by faith, not by sight. (2 Corinthians 5:7)

5 Look among the nations and watch —
Be utterly astounded!
For I will work a work in your days
Which you would not believe, though it were told you. (Habakkuk 1:5)

We are doing that work. We strive to go through the doors that Jesus opens (cf. Revelation 3:7-13).

Furthermore, consider that Jesus said:

16 You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles?  17 Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit.  18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit.  19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.  20 Therefore by their fruits you will know them. (Matthew 7:16-20)

As far as fruits go, as I have stated in the past, we have had many baptism and greatly exceeded the 30% growth per year that the old Worldwide Church of God used to claim it had for decades. Many of those that we have attending with us did NOT have a WCG background as we reached been able to reach people other groups have not.

We have reached people in over 220 nations and territories, and in multiple languages–and have the fruits to show that we have been effective at it. We also have reached millions over the internet, had over 740,000 views of our YouTube television channels, reached millions over radio, and printed and distributed thousands of pieces of printed literature (magazines, song books, and booklets). Plus, we have had our materials translated into over 100 different languages! (You can also watch Behind the Work 2016: All Nations, Tribes, People, and Tongues.)

However, as we intend to reach billions one day, we still have a long way to go.  But we must work and prepare for that time–and we are doing that as well.

The Bible says:

28 For He will finish the work and cut it short in righteousness, Because the Lord will make a short work upon the earth. (Romans 9:28)

Since God will finish the work, and it needs to be a witness to all nations (Matthew 24:14; 28:19-20), we need to prepare for what I have referred to as the short work (see Preparing for the ‘Short Work’ and The Famine of the Word).

We have spent just over forty-six months doing so (since 12/28/2012), and are implementing plans to expand the pool of those that we can potentially reach.

In the 1980s, it was reported that then US President Ronald Reagan stated that you can get a lot done if you are not too concerned about who gets the credit.

Well, from a COG perspective, one can reach a lot of people if they go through the doors that Jesus opens (Revelation 3:7-13) without money (cf. Luke 9:2-3), if the group is not concerned whether or not those being reached have any money (cf. James 2:1-4).

Some have criticized us as only having growth because of reaching Africans. A leader at one of the largest COGs actually tried to say we succeeded there because of money. And while we do provide some financial support to reach people and help feed the poor in Africa (Galatians 2:10)–and would like to do more as we have the funds–the particular COG that minister was in had about 100 times our income when he wrote me that and his group spends much more money in Africa than we do–yet they only have a fraction of our membership in these regions of Africa.

And while it is true that the bulk of our membership is in Africa, in North America we have had over 30% growth in membership and income per year.

We meet the criteria that some have set for the true, and most faithful, COG.

It remains my view that the Continuing Church of God best represents the remnant of the Philadelphia portion of the Church of God, is the group most faithful to the word of God, and is leading the final phase of the work.

Others have their own opinions, but we are striving to have the fruits Jesus stated His faithful would have (Matthew 7:16-20; cf. 21:43). And statistics back up the Continuing Church of God here.

The growth in the Continuing Church of God has been consistent and exciting.

The Philadelphia Church Era was predominant circa 1933 A.D. to 1986 A.D. The old Radio Church of God and old Worldwide Church of God, now the remnant of that era is basically the most faithful in the Church of God, like who hold to the beliefs and practices of the Continuing Church of God.
The Laodicean Church Era has been predominant circa 1986 A.D. to present. The Laodiceans are non-Philadelphians who mainly descended from the old WCG or its offshoots.  They do not properly understand the work or biblical prophecies and will face the Great Tribulation if they do not repent. Theresa May has said she is “confident” that the government will win its appeal against a High Court ruling on triggering Brexit talks.

She told European Commission president Jean-Claude Juncker and Germany’s Angela Merkel she was committed to triggering Article 50 by March 2017.

Three judges ruled that she cannot do so without Parliament’s support. …

The government is appealing against Thursday’s ruling to the Supreme Court – all 11 judges are due to hear the case in early December.

The prime minister called Mr Juncker and Mrs Merkel on Friday morning. Her spokesman said she told them the government was “disappointed” at Thursday’s court ruling but that “the focus of the government is on the Supreme Court case. We are confident of winning that case and proceeding with Article 50”.

If it loses that appeal, it is expected that the government will have to publish some form of new law for MPs – and the House of Lords – to vote on.

But Former deputy prime minister Nick Clegg – now the Lib Dems’ Europe spokesman – said his party would seek to join with others “in both the House of Commons and the House of Lords to amend the legislation” to tell the government to pursue a “soft Brexit” that would keep the UK within the EU’s single market.

He told Radio 4’s Today that he also wanted to give the public “a say” on the final deal after EU negotiations are complete.

What happens next?

The government’s appeal is expected to be heard in early December by the full Supreme Court – 11 judges – for the first time in its history.

The judgement may not be handed down until January.

If the appeal fails, it is thought the government will then have to bring forward legislation – which would have to be approved by both Houses of Parliament.

The bill could be subject to amendments. MPs and peers may push for more details of the government’s negotiating strategy or possibly for a second referendum.

I intentionally did not report about the UK court ruling yesterday as I wanted to wait to hear what the plan of the UK’s Prime Minister would be. Now we have an idea.

For those not particularly familiar with this, Brexit stands for BRitish EXIT from the European Union.  On June 23, 2016, contrary to the views of the pollsters, the citizens of the UK voted to leave the European Union.  A court in the UK ruled yesterday this departure needs approval of the British Parliament, but the Prime Minister and others disagree.

We will see what happens with the appeal to the UK Supreme Court.

Oh no, not more trouble! The road to Britain’s departure from the European Union is becoming rockier and yes, more chaotic. On the one hand, the British prime minister still does not know what and how she wants to negotiate with her European partners. On the other hand, the British Royal Court of Justice’s first ruling was a slap in the face because it stipulates that only parliament can trigger Article 50.

Until now, the new iron lady was banking on royal prerogative powers that would allow her to officially bypass parliament. Until recently, the conservative Brexit enforcer believed that the referendum itself was enough to catapult Great Britain out of the EU. Judges in London have a different view: They insist on a parliamentary vote.

Comically enough, a hairdresser and an investment manager and not parliament, as one would expect, pursued this goal. But people have seen a lot in the Brexit saga. If you consider the Brexiteer’s referendum campaign lies and deception or the eccentric foreign minister who is a weather vane that points in the direction of the populists he is addressing, the somewhat bizarre legal dispute over the initiation of Brexit does not shock anyone. …

As long as Brexit is delayed, uncertainty will remain. Government leaders from EU states had already asked their British counterpart to launch concrete negotiations as quickly as possible, if the Britons really wanted to leave the bloc. No one in Brussels believes that Brexit can be prevented in courtrooms or in parliament. EU headquarters have no influence on the obstinate Britons anymore. So, some of the Europeans consider that the British are chaotic and obstinate. This suggests that many of the continental Europeans will be happy to have the UK leave the European Union.

As I have written for years, the UK will NOT be an equal part of the final European Beast power.

One day, Europe will reorganize and turn over power to a dictator:

12 “The ten horns which you saw are ten kings who have received no kingdom as yet, but they receive authority for one hour as kings with the beast. 13 These are of one mind, and they will give their power and authority to the beast. (Revelation 17:12-13)

The issues with Brexit will not prevent this. The UK will be taken over one day by the final European Beast power.

The Bible is clear that despite problems, Europe will unify:

41 Whereas you saw the feet and toes, partly of potter’s clay and partly of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; yet the strength of the iron shall be in it, just as you saw the iron mixed with ceramic clay. 42 And as the toes of the feet were partly of iron and partly of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong and partly fragile. 43 As you saw iron mixed with ceramic clay, they will mingle with the seed of men; but they will not adhere to one another, just as iron does not mix with clay. (Daniel 2:41-43)

The EU is partly strong and partly fragile and does not adhere well together, but consider that the Bible shows that the  final European Beast power will only have a temporal rule:

24 The ten horns are ten kings
Who shall arise from this kingdom.
And another shall rise after them;
He shall be different from the first ones,
And shall subdue three kings.
25 He shall speak pompous words against the Most High,
Shall persecute the saints of the Most High,
And shall intend to change times and law.
Then the saints shall be given into his hand
For a time and times and half a time. (Daniel 7:24-25)

5 And he was given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies, and he was given authority to continue for forty-two months. 6 Then he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme His name, His tabernacle, and those who dwell in heaven. 7 It was granted to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And authority was given him over every tribe, tongue, and nation. 8 All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

9 If anyone has an ear, let him hear. 10 He who leads into captivity shall go into captivity; he who kills with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints. (Revelation 13:5-10)

42 months is 3 1/2 years as is ” a time and times and half a time” (see also When Will the Great Tribulation Begin?). This Beast is a European power (watch also Can You Prove that the Beast to Come is European?).

US presidential candidate Donald Trump supported the Brexit vote, whereas his opponent Hillary Clinton opposed those in the UK who wanted to vote to leave the EU.

No matter who wins, the current presidential election in the USA will have an impact on Europe. And ultimately, that will NOT turn out well for the USA (Daniel 8:24-25a, 11:39)–nor for the UK (Daniel 8:24-25a).

Are you grateful for what you have or are you mainly a complainer?

I regularly hear from poor, and often hungry, people in Africa. Their situations and problems remind me how grateful those of us in Western cultures should be for at least the physical blessings we have.

Do you give thanks to God? Does the Bible actually say to do that?

Does the Bible say anything about people who are not thankful?

Should you be giving thanks to God? For what?

What are some of the fruits of not being thankful?

Unthankfulness Was Prophesied

The New King James Version of the Bible has the word ‘thank’ 25 times, ‘thanks’ 75 times, ‘thankful’ 3 times, and ‘thanksgiving’ 32 times. It also has the word ‘praise’ 237 times and ‘praises’ 11 times.

Thanks and praise must be important to God. And God must think it is important for us to know.

Yet, the Bible teaches that in the last days, people will be selfish and unthankful:

1 But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, 4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away! (2 Timothy 3:1-6)

Notice that God does not want His people to associate much with the selfish who are unthankful. God wants His people to have gratitude, not ingratitude.

Unthankful people are often unhappy, and often unloving.

Notice what is prophesied towards those who will not serve God with joy:

47 “Because you did not serve the Lord your God with joy and gladness of heart, for the abundance of everything, 48 therefore you shall serve your enemies, whom the Lord will send against you, in hunger, in thirst, in nakedness, and in need of everything; and He will put a yoke of iron on your neck until He has destroyed you. 49 The Lord will bring a nation against you from afar, from the end of the earth, as swift as the eagle flies, a nation whose language you will not understand, 50 a nation of fierce countenance, which does not respect the elderly nor show favor to the young. (Deuteronomy 28:47-51)

Oddly, people seem to think that complaining makes them happy. Many are selfish and seem to think that complaining is better for them than giving thanks.

Some seem to complain because they are Christian! Yet, God expects His people to be joyous:

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. (Galatians 5:22-24)

People who are joyous and longsuffering tend to be thankful.

Julian Assange is denying that the Russian government is the source of WikiLeaks’ trove of hacked emails from John Podesta, Hillary Clinton’s campaign chairman, that have produced embarrassing and potentially damaging messages about the Democratic nominee.

In an interview to be aired Saturday on the Russia-backed RT network, the WikiLeaks founder refutes the claim from Clinton’s campaign that Russia, with the backing of Donald Trump, is a culprit in the hack.

“The Clinton camp has been able to project a neo-McCarthyist hysteria that Russia is responsible for everything,” Assange said. “Hillary Clinton has stated multiple times, falsely, that 17 U.S. intelligence agencies had assessed that Russia was the source of our publications. That’s false — we can say that the Russian government is not the source.”

Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson and Director of National Intelligence James Clapper on Oct. 8 issued a rare statement accusing Russia of deploying hackers to meddle with the U.S. election, in the wake of attacks on the Democratic National Committee and other Democratic targets.

Assange categorically denied that the troves of US Democratic Party and Clinton work and staff emails released this year have come from the Russian government. …

Assange spoke with Pilger at the Ecuadorian Embassy in London, where he has been for four years, and accused the US presidential candidate of being a pawn of behind-the-scenes interests, and voiced doubts about her physical fitness to take charge of the White House.

“Hillary Clinton is just one person. I actually feel quite sorry for Hillary Clinton as a person, because I see someone who is eaten alive by their ambitions, tormented literally to the point where they become sick – for example faint – as a result of going on, and going with their ambitions. But she represents a whole network of people, and a whole network of relationships with particular states.”

Over the past nine months, WikiLeaks uploaded over 30,000 emails from Hillary Clinton’s private email server, while she was Secretary of State. This was followed by nearly 20,000 emails sent to and by members of the US Democratic National Committee, exposing the party leadership’s dismissive attitude to Bernie Sanders, and his outsider primaries campaign.

And so, in the final stretch of the presidential race which has just a few days left, Wikileaks continues its ongoing broadside attack against the Clinton campaign with the relentless Podesta dump, by unveiling another 1,114 emails in the latest, Part 27 of its Podesta release, bringing the total emails released so far to exactly 43,104. http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2016-11-03/podesta-files-part-27-wikileaks-releases-another-1100-emails-total-now-44218

The email releases by WikiLeaks, the content of some which have been authenticated by the original senders and indirectly by other sources, basically suggests that the Clinton Foundation, directly or indirectly, was used as a instrument of US political-influence and that various Democrats have engaged in illegal or otherwise inappropriate behavior.

Notice, for example, the following that was just reported related to the latest WikiLeaks release:

A March 2015 email which came out just days after the NYT article on Hillary’s home server, has comms director Jenn Palmieri telling the Clinton campaign that “we are working with State to get emails released soon. Not sure where those discussions will land, but hope is either State agrees to release on timely basis or we pledge to release them ourselves in ten days/week. In other words, full disclosure was not truly intended. WikiLeaks has provided documents that back that up. Because of the fact that the WikiLeaks releases have been mainly related to those who support the Democratic party in the USA, some have claimed that Russia is behind the leaks. But even if Russia is involved, it is not believed or even alleged by any credible source that Russia made up the documents.

Of course, some of the materials released by WikiLeaks could be inaccurate, false, modified, and even fabricated. But reports from various ones indicate that many are in fact real.

Of course, it was not WikiLeaks that started the email scandal.

Hillary Clinton chose to do something basically unprecedented.  And despite the FBI investigations and WikiLeaks, she has so far survived politically. If she wins next week, her ‘gamble’ of having a private email server perhaps will have worked to her political advantage as I believe that there were more politically damaging emails on her private server that were deleted and/or have not been made publicly available.

This does not mean that I consider that Donald Trump is honest or forthcoming. But in this age,

8 …. the sons of this world are more shrewd in their generation than the sons of light. (Luke 16:8)

Yet:

7 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. (Galatians 6:7)

If Hillary Clinton gets elected, expect more scandalous information to be revealed. The same, btw, would also seem to be the case if Donald Trump is elected.

Barack Obama has warned ‘the fate of the world’ is at stake if Hillary Clinton does not defeat Donald Trump in the US election.

The President urged supporters to “choose hope” by getting out and voting Democrat on November 8.

While the world will be affected by the outcome of the presidential election in the USA, the ‘fate of the world’ is not dependent upon a vote. No matter who wins, the USA will decline and Europe will rise up.

As far as the ‘fate of the Republic,’ the USA is more and more being governed by those that do not believe in the Constitution of the USA. Notice a transcript from the last presidential debate involving Hillary Clinton:

WALLACE: Which means that you will, in effect, determine the balance of the court for what could be the next quarter century.

First of all, where do you want to see the court take the country? And secondly, what’s your view on how the Constitution should be interpreted? Do the founders’ words mean what they say or is it a living document to be applied flexibly according to changing circumstances? In this segment, Secretary Clinton, you go first. You have two minutes.

CLINTON: Thank you very much, Chris. And thanks to UNLV for hosting us.

You know, I think when we talk about the Supreme Court, it really raises the central issue in this election, namely, what kind of country are we going to be? What kind of opportunities will we provide for our citizens? What kind of rights will Americans have?

And I feel strongly that the Supreme Court needs to stand on the side of the American people, not on the side of the powerful corporations and the wealthy. For me, that means that we need a Supreme Court that will stand up on behalf of women’s rights, on behalf of the rights of the LGBT community, that will stand up and say no to Citizens United, a decision that has undermined the election system in our country because of the way it permits dark, unaccountable money to come into our electoral system.

I have major disagreements with my opponent about these issues and others that will be before the Supreme Court. But I feel that at this point in our country’s history, it is important that we not reverse marriage equality, that we not reverse Roe v. Wade, that we stand up against Citizens United, we stand up for the rights of people in the workplace, that we stand up and basically say: The Supreme Court should represent all of us.

That’s how I see the court, and the kind of people that I would be looking to nominate to the court would be in the great tradition of standing up to the powerful, standing up on behalf of our rights as Americans.

And I look forward to having that opportunity. I would hope that the Senate would do its job and confirm the nominee that President Obama has sent to them. That’s the way the Constitution fundamentally should operate. As far as the fate of the USA goes, since both Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump accept/endorse aspects of the LGBTQ agenda, notice what the Bible teaches:

22 Professing to be wise, they became fools, 23 and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man — and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things.

24 Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, 25 who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.

Without national repentance, the ‘fate of the Republic’ is not good no matter who wins next Tuesday.

Notice something else that Barack Obama stated yesterday:

President Obama told voters in North Carolina Wednesday that nothing less than the fate of the U.S. and the world rests on them, since that state could decide whether Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump becomes president.

All the progress?

One of Barack Obama’ first acts in office was to change a law to promote more abortions around the world. That was not progress.

Later, Barack Obama decided to violate his oath of office by declaring that his Administration would not defend the “Defense of Marriage Act.” Homosexual marriage is now ‘legal’ and Barack Obama pushed for that.

Barack Obama’s Administration has also pushed gender and toilet-facilities confusion.

The nation of Libya was bombed under the Obama Administration and the people there are worse off by all measures I have seen.

The Obama Administration’s policies contributed to the Syrian refugee situation and the rise of the Islamic State. Terrors will increase and the USA will be more affected (see also Why Terrorism? Is Terrorism Prophesied?).

More in Asia are looking towards China, despite the ‘Asian pivot’ that then US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton pushed for in the Obama Administration.

The Europeans are still outraged by the Snowden leaks and revelations of USA spying under the Obama Administration. This has hurt the relationship between the USA and Europe. One day Europe will takeover the USA (see Daniel 11:39; watch Do these 7 prophesies point to the end of the USA?).

The IRS scandal, Benghazi, and other incidents show less than the full transparency that Barack Obama promised prior to becoming US President.

The racial situation in the USA has become more tense, and at least part of that is because of how the Obama Administration  has ‘fanned the flames.’

Hillary Clinton’s ‘reset’ with Russia did not work.

The USA has nearly doubled its debt since Barack Obama became president. The Bible teaches that this will end in disaster (Habakkuk 2:6-8).

The Obama Administration has encouraged censorship of religious views and allowed international control over the internet. This ‘progress’ looks like it will lead to the coming ‘famine of the word of God’ (Amos 8:11-12; see also Preparing for the ‘Short Work’ and The Famine of the Word).

His signature piece of legislation, the improperly titled ‘Affordable Care Act’ did NOT fulfill the promises President Obama made about it and many are finding it less and less affordable.

Anyway, this is NOT an endorsement of Donald Trump. Only some comments about how I do not see the ‘progress’ made by Barack Obama as something that needs to be intentionally continued.

As far as the ‘fate of the world’ goes, we seem to be in a time that Jesus referred to as ‘the beginning of sorrows’ (Matthew 24:4-8).

We are getting closer to the time when the Great Tribulation will begin (Matthew 24:21; see also When Will the Great Tribulation Begin? 2016, 2017, or 2018?) and the USA will be no more (Daniel 11:39; Habakkuk 2:6-8; Do these 7 prophesies point to the end of the USA?).

Destruction will come, the Beast of Revelation 13 will arise, persecution will increase, but ultimately Jesus will return and establish the millennial Kingdom of God.

None of that, Barack Obama, is dependent upon next Tuesday’s election.
