The Florida Keys will soon be buzzing with close to a billion ‘fraken-squitoes’ – gene-hacked mosquitoes aimed at eradicating a disease carrying mosquito.

The Florida Keys Mosquito Control District (FKMCD) and Oxitec, a British biotech company, are starting the first-ever U.S. release of genetically engineered (GE) Aedes aegypti mosquitoes this week, which will see up to a billion over a two-year period.

The project aims to reduce the numbers of Aedes aegypti, one of several mosquito species that can carry diseases including dengue, chikungunya, Zika and yellow fever.

Floridians, however, are calling on the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to end ‘this live experiment’ saying they are being subjected to terrorism by the FKMCD.

The trial is set to begin this week, with the first phase releasing up to 144,000 GE mosquitoes over the next 12 weeks. While some genetically-altered mosquito projects may well assist with disease control, they pose many risks.

The scientific reality is that there is no way that items like genetically-modified mosquitoes can be so thoroughly tested in a lab to be released in the wild without any risk.

Why?

A laboratory environment simply cannot test every possible variable in the real world (that is also a reality when it comes to things like COVID-19 vaccines–particularly the mRNA ones).

The release of genetically-modified mosquitoes in Florida is a dangerous risk.

The release of other genetically-modified mosquitoes has been tried before, but the results were not as the proponents hoped:

GENETICALLY modified mosquitoes that were designed by scientists to help populations decrease are actually thriving.

This is according to new research that claims the plan to create gene-hacked mosquitoes that have offspring which die immediately has spectacularly backfired and now scientists don’t know what will happen next.

The modified mosquitoes were released in Jacobina in Brazil and were supposed to mix with the local population and decrease numbers with their weak offspring genetics.

Although the wild population did plummet for a short while, 18 months later it was right back up again.

This is mostly concerning because scientists think the new ‘super mosquitoes’ have properties that might make them harder to kill.

Research about the pests has been published in the journal Nature Scientific Reports. …

Mosquitoes like the Aedes aegypti variety that was edited can carry dangerous diseases like yellow fever, Zika virus and Malaria.

This is why efforts are being made to reduce their numbers.

However, now traces of the genetically modified genes have been found in the natural population.

This means they are successfully interbreeding. …

The offspring of the gene-hacked mosquitoes and the natural ones are thought to be more robust but whether they pose a threat is unknown.

So, scientists have been concerned about “the unanticipated outcome.” Having mosquitoes that are “more robust” makes them harder to kill and, thus tends to increase their longevity.

Well, I anticipated something just like this when I reported about the release of GMOs mosquitoes on July 28, 2018. Here are some of my posted warnings.

Mosquitoes can carry and spread many diseases.

But releasing genetically-modified ones into the wild presents unknown risks.

One assumption that scientists have tended to make with genetically-modified organisms (GMOs) is that if they do not see any dangers, then there are none. That is foolish, yet that continues to be the view of the pro-GMO crowd.

While there certainly are risks associated with contracting the Zika virus (see Zika is more dangerous than many thought; USA has its first Zika death), this ‘solution’ poses risks to various parts of the ecosystem as well as the possibility that some of the offspring produced will have greater longevity as opposed to greatly reduced longevity.

The vast quantity of mosquito offspring increases the possibility that there will be some that have the opposite traits that the GMO crowd is hoping to get. And if this occurs, this could cause much greater problems than the GMO ‘solution’ was supposed to fix. …

GMOs are very dangerous precisely because scientists CANNOT ANTICIPATE all the potentially negative outcomes.

Super-mosquitoes are a health-risk.

Mosquitoes, GMO or otherwise, have major potential to spread pestilences and cause pandemics.

Notice some of what Jesus warned would happen prior to the start of the Great Tribulation during the beginning of sorrows:

7…And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows. (Matthew 24:7-8)

11 And there will be great earthquakes in various places, and famines and pestilences; and there will be fearful sights and great signs from heaven. (Luke 21:11)

(Perhaps it should be mentioned that contrary to the views of some Protestant prophecy preachers, the fourth horseman of the apocalypse is NOT Islam, but has to do with death and pestilence: see Fourth Horseman of the Apocalypse).

Mosquitoes are pests, as far as humans are concerned, and can spread many diseases.

Bible prophecy shows that the situation with pestilence is expected to worsen:

7 When He opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature saying, “Come and see.” 8 So I looked, and behold, a pale horse. And the name of him who sat on it was Death, and Hades followed with him. And power was given to them over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword, with hunger, with death, and by the beasts of the earth. (Revelation 6:7-8)

Mosquitoes, and the diseases associated with them, are consistent with the “beasts of earth” that Revelation 6 is discussing.

Genetically modified mosquitoes can be harder to kill than natural ones and pose dangerous, and seemingly prophesied, risks.

Freshmen Knesset member Itamar Ben Gvir (Religious Zionism) was recently sworn into the Israeli parliament on Monday.

During his opening speech, Ben Gvir lamented the hesitancy of the Israeli government to assert full sovereignty over Jerusalem and more specifically; the Temple Mount saying: “I will act to ensure that Israeli control returns to Jerusalem and to the Temple Mount specifically.”

Ben Gvir connected his promise to the recent Muslim-instigated riots throughout Jerusalem that have taken place since the beginning of Ramadan saying: “So that images we saw the other day, of thugs beating police officers and shouting Hamas Hamas! while proclaiming ‘we are the owners – These images will not be heard nor seen.” https://www.israel365news.com/189808/new-lawmaker-vows-full-israeli-control-over-temple-mount/

Religious Jews have wanted control over the Temple Mount and have been disappointed, that although it was captured by Israel in 1967, it is under Islamic control because of a deal that the Israeli government made with the Jordanians.

That being said, I have warned for over a decade that the political situation in Israel would change, and some from a minority religious party would be a factor in that change, and Itamar Ben Gvir’s words confirm that principle. Yes, the situation in Israel will change as it must happen for certain biblical prophecies to be fulfilled.

It should be pointed out that religious Jews also blame the Israeli government for not allowing sacrifices, as the following helps demonstrate:

Blame is on the Government

Rabbi Hillel Weiss, the former spokesman for the Sanhedrin, emphasized that a Temple structure is not needed in order to bring the Passover sacrifice and a temporary altar that can be assembled and disassembled in one day would suffice. …

The current reason that animal sacrifices are not allowed on the Temple Mount itself is political. The Israeli courts have ruled that they can be performed, but because of the current tensions with the Muslims, they cannot be performed on what is called the Temple Mount.

Religious Jews want those sacrifices, and some type of daily sacrifices will be re-implemented according to Bible prophecies such as Daniel 9:27, 11:31, and 12:11.

That being said, notice the following Roman Catholic writings:

Perhaps “after socialism” may mean after communism falls, like it mainly did in the late 20th century. True Church of God Christians with “Jewish practices,” who could be considered a type of “Anti-Christ” by Greco-Romans (see Do Certain Catholic Prophecies About Antichrist Warn Against Jesus? ), are to be greatly persecuted around the time of the Great Catholic “Lion” Monarch (see Persecutions by Church and State).  The “atrocious crime” could refer to the “crime” of pointing out that the modern Roman Catholics are not the faithful representatives of true apostolic Christianity and that their apparent Great Monarch represents not the solution, but the ten-horned beast of Revelation. Or maybe it refers to the Jews re-instituting sacrifices. Or some Israeli attack or other action. Or perhaps a combination of factors.

Either way, the King of the North is prophesied to stop animal sacrifices per Daniel 9:27 and 11:31.  He may very well state that he is stopping international ‘crime’ by causing animal sacrifices to cease–despite having many other motives.

Back in 2009, I warned that the prophesied “starting of sacrifices in Israel might be perceived as the terrible crime” (2012 and the Rise of the Secret Sect, p. 302) that the King of the North may point to as a reason to stop them as is taught in Daniel 11:31.

That being said, Israel is now being accused of a ‘crime’ called apartheid:

In a report published Tuesday, Human Rights Watch (HRW) accused Israel of pursuing policies of apartheid and persecution against Palestinians.

Omar Shakir, the watchdog’s Israel and Palestine director, said the report was “the starkest finding HRW has reached on Israeli conduct in 30 years.”

The 213-page document alleges that Israel is committing the crime of “apartheid” by seeking to maintain Jewish domination over Palestinians and its Arab population.

Yes, there is a difference between how the Israelis treat Palestinians and Jews.

Tensions are rising, but the situation in Israel will change.

The religious Jews, for a time, will get some of what they want.

Yet, ultimately, the Israelis will not care for the changes that will come (cf. Isaiah 22:6-8; Daniel 9:27, 11:31, and 12:11).

Hyperinflation continues to be an issue in Venezuela:

What will end up happening in the USA will be worse than inflation or the hyperinflation that Venezuela has been experiencing.

It is setting itself up for a fall with its expected official debt to pass the US$30 trillion mark this year.

Most in the media and in government act like more debt is a good thing.

However, the Bible clearly warns that an indebted people will be destroyed by people whose language that they do not understand, and that the destruction will be fairly total:

Notice that getting in debt is considered to be a curse (see also the YouTube video The Debt Crisis Will Be Worse Than Most Imagine).

The debt situation of the USA, UK, and Canada are putting them at risk of hyperinflation as well being unable to recover should it be hit by weather problems, terrorist acts, war, riots, solar flares, severe earthquakes, civil unrest, devastation of their genetically-modified food supplies, food shortages, and/or various pestilences–an intensity of “sorrows” such as Jesus discussed in Matthew 24:4-8 leading up to the time of the Great Tribulation. Disasters such as pestilences, especially if there is an ElectroMagnetic Pulse (emp) attack or a severe solar flare storm, could be part of a so-called “perfect storm” of events that could set the USA, along with Canada, up for destruction.

As far as hyperinflation goes, notice the following warning from Jim Rickards:

If central banks print money and that money is left in banks and not used by consumers, then actual inflation can be low.

This is the situation in the U.S. today. The Federal Reserve has expanded the base money supply by over $6 trillion since 2008, with over $3 trillion of that coming since last February alone.

But very little actual inflation has resulted, or at least very little official inflation. This is because the velocity of money has been decreasing. Banks have not been lending much, and consumers haven’t been spending much of the new money. It’s just sitting in the banks.

Money printing first turns into inflation, and then hyperinflation, when consumers and businesses lose confidence in price stability and see more inflation on the horizon. At that point, money is dumped in exchange for current consumption or hard assets, thus increasing velocity.

As inflation velocity spikes up, expectations of more inflation grow, and the process accelerates and feeds on itself. …

Hyperinflation doesn’t emerge instantaneously. It begins slowly with normal inflation and then accelerates violently at an increasing rate until it becomes hyperinflation. … The hyperinflation of Weimar Germany is a good example of this. …

If you think this can’t happen here or now, think again. …

If inflation does hit 3%, it is more likely to go to 6% or higher, rather than back down to 2%. The process will feed on itself and be difficult to stop. Sadly, there are no Volckers or Reagans on the horizon today. There are only weak political leaders and misguided central bankers.

Inflation will accelerate, as it did in the U.S. in 1980 and in Germany in 1920. Whether hyperinflation comes next remains to be seen, but it can happen more easily than most people expect. The damage from hyperinflation will be worse than what happened to the USA in the 1980s or Germany in the 1920s.

The USA dollar will basically become worth the scrap value of the cotton-paper it is printed on.

The transgender movement scored another legal victory:

A federal judge on Sunday dismissed a Connecticut lawsuit that would have barred transgender athletes from competing against girls in high school sports.

The Hill reports that the suit, filed in February 2020 by a group of high school girls,  attempted to bar transgender girls from competing in their track events due to unfair competition.

The suit was filed against numerous school boards, as well as the Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference (CIAC), which manages the state’s school sports. CIAC’s policy allows athletes to participate in the sports affiliated with their gender identities, as opposed to their biological genders.

U.S. District Court Judge Robert Chatigny dismissed the suit on Sunday, stating that, since the two transgender student athletes identified in the lawsuit had already graduated, the issue was moot and the case was “not justiciable at this time.” …

The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) issued a statement celebrating the ruling, calling it “good news for transgender students in Connecticut and around the country.” It also noted that “[T]oday’s ruling shows that allowing transgender students to fully participate in school — including sports — is consistent with existing federal law.”

The Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF), which represented the plaintiffs, said that it plans to appeal the suit’s dismissal. The ADF argued that Title IX was denied to the plaintiffs due to inherent physiological advantages that the transgender athletes had over the biological female athletes. https://www.newsmax.com/newsfront/transgender-aclu-adf-title-ix/2021/04/25/id/1018954/

While the judge got out of the case, the main issue is still applicable. The judge’s ruling was NOT a victory for human rights as the ACLU claims, but another setback for female sports.

Just hours after taking office, President Joe Biden signed an Executive Order on Preventing and Combating Discrimination on the Basis of Gender Identity or Sexual Orientation

Critics have slammed the new order declaring that the new president is ‘erasing women‘ and imposing ‘a new glass ceiling’.

Many fear that Biden’s anti-discrimination executive order will now make it compulsory for schools to allow transgender female students to compete in girls’ sports

The Mail Online reports: It states that ‘Children should be able to learn without worrying about whether they will be denied access to the restroom, the locker room, or school sports.’

The order adds: ‘It is the policy of my administration to prevent and combat discrimination on the basis of gender identity or sexual orientation’.

Biden claims that such anti-discrimination policies are ‘enshrined in the nation’s anti-discrimination laws’, and align with a Supreme Court ruling from 2020 that prohibits ‘discrimination on the basis of someone’s gender identity’.

There is now speculation that public schools will have funding pulled if they do not allow transgender female athletes to compete in girls’ sports.

Biden’s order is already dividing activists on the internet. While it has been cheered by proponents of transgender rights, others say the order could unintentionally discriminate against cis females.

Journalist Abigail Shrier wrote on Twitter: ‘On day 1, Biden unilaterally eviscerates women’s sports. Any educational institution that receives federal funding must admit biologically-male athletes to women’s teams, women’s scholarships, etc. A new glass ceiling was just placed over girls.’

Erielle Davidson of The Jewish Institute for National Security of America, wrote: ‘Sad day for women’s sports. Women must compete against biological males at the risk of injury and loss of title, thanks to a new Biden executive order. Don’t ever tell me this is ‘pro-woman.’ It’s not. Many have been concerned for years that this was the trend in the USA.

“Cross-dressing,” which basically all ‘transgendered’ do, is condemned as an abomination in the Bible:

5 A woman shall not wear anything that pertains to a man, nor shall a man put on a woman’s garment, for all who do so are an abomination to the Lord your God. (Deuteronomy 22:5)

The Bible clearly condemns cross-dressing. It does not consider it to be harmless–it is an abomination!

Notice also the following:

4 … sigh and cry over all the abominations that are done within it. (Ezekiel 9:4)

1 Cry aloud, spare not;
Lift up your voice like a trumpet;
Tell My people their transgression,
And the house of Jacob their sins. (Isaiah 58:1)

Do you sigh and cry over all the abominations that are done? Is your church crying aloud and telling the house of Jacob (which includes the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom) their sins?

The transgender movement is sinful and promotes abominations.

The Bible clearly condemns cross-dressing.

The Bible also condemns males acting effeminate:

9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, 10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. Males are not to act like females, nor should they compete as females.

USA pushing gender confusion

On May 13, 2016, the Obama-Biden Administration sent notices to school districts around the USA on how it wants them to deal with toilets, lockers, sports, and other issues of interest to the LGBT crowd. The Obama-Biden Administration has redefined the word ‘sex’ as written in the 1964 Civil Rights Act as expanded in 1972. Does the Bible teach transgenderism? Tulsi Gabbard blasts new House rules on gender neutral language as ‘height of hypocrisy’

Former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-Hawaii) spoke out Monday evening against the House’s recent ban on gendered language, saying it denies “the very biological existence of women.”

When asked by Fox News host Tucker Carlson if the new code of conduct, designed to help promote diversity and inclusivity, is an effective way to promote women’s rights, Gabbard responded, “It absolutely does the very opposite of that.” …

“It’s the height of hypocrisy for people who claim to be the champions of rights for women to deny the very biological existence of women,” Gabbard said, arguing that the rule shows how out of touch lawmakers are with reality and the needs of the American people.

“Their first act as this new Congress could have been to make sure elderly Americans are able to get the COVID vaccine now alongside front-line health care workers,” Gabbard said. “Instead of doing something that could actually help save people’s lives, they are choosing instead to say ‘You can’t say mother or father.’”

Gabbard, a former presidential candidate who did not run for reelection to her House seat, said she believes there’s a “biological distinction” between men and women and boys and girls, which led to her championing the anti-transgender “Protect Women’s Sports Act.”

Yes, this defies common sense, basic established science, and the truth. The Bible further warns that God will send punishment against “an hypocritical nation” (Isaiah 10:6, KJV; see also Germany in Biblical and Catholic Prophecy).

It does not help women’s rights to allow males to compete as females or to eliminate words that the Bible uses like mother and father.

117th US Congress and Gendered Words

The 117th US Congress had an opening prayer by Protestant pastor and Missouri Democratic representative Emanuel Cleaver in which he prayed to the Hindu deity Brahma and ended with the words amen and a-woman. Does “amen” have to do with gender? The next day the US House of Representatives adopted a proposal forbidding the use of gendered terms in rules documents. The changes mean that the rules document will use language such as “parent,” “child,” and “sibling” instead of “mother,” “father,” “son,” daughter,” “brother,” and “sister.” It will also replace “chairman” with “chair,” “seamen” with “seafarers,” and “himself” and “herself” with “themself.” Some Democrats, such as Tulsi Gabbard have objected to this as hypocritical, against science, and against truth. The Bible itself uses a lot of “gendered language.” It also teaches woes to “those who call evil good, and good evil; who put darkness for light, and light for darkness” (Isaiah 5:20). The direction that the USA is going is consistent with the view that the USA will not last two full presidential terms. Dr. Thiel goes over several scriptures to point out the errors of some of the word positions of the 117th US Congress.

Remember that the Bible show that God made humans male and female:

27 So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. (Genesis 1:27)

Nowhere in the Bible is any human considered to be any sex/gender other than male or female. And those who act otherwise are warned against (Deuteronomy 22:5; 1 Corinthians 6:10-12; Romans 1:18-32). One is not a different gender than their actual genitalia.

But many others have their own, antibiblical ideas. Yet:

33 God is not the author of confusion (1 Corinthians 14:33)

The transgender agenda encourages and exploits confusion. It is NOT good for those who consider themselves transgendered.

The transgender movement is destructive to society and that includes female sports.

The trend we have seen in the USA from its leadership in Washington, D.C. this month is not good.

But it is consistent with the type of immorality expected for the last days (cf. 1 Timothy 3:1-15; Romans 1:18-32).

The USA is not expected to last past 2027 according to various prophecies. Nor will its British-desended allies.

Promoting transgender immorality is not helping the USA.

Should We Be Bracing Ourselves For “The Beginning Of Sorrows”?

If things are so wonderful, then why do so many people feel a deep sense of unease about what is ahead?  …

If we continue to do things the way we have been doing them, our society will inevitably collapse.  Even now, virtually all of our systems are exhibiting signs of failure, and yet most of us continue to live our lives as if they party will never end.

But it will end, and deep inside most of us know this.

So how close are we to that point?  Nearly 2000 years ago, Jesus detailed some of the things that we should expect to see as conditions turn apocalyptic…

And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

All these are the beginning of sorrows.

Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake.

Could it be possible that “the beginning of sorrows” is nearly upon us?

Without a doubt, we are living in a time when there are lots of rumors of wars. …

Everyone knows that a major war is going to erupt in the Middle East at some point.

It is just a matter of time.

Switching gears, we continue to see large earthquakes shake our planet at a very alarming rate, and more volcanoes that were once very quiet continue to roar to life. …

Needless to say, “pestilence” has been a major theme over the past year as well.  … But if we really are moving into “the beginning of sorrows”, we should expect even more “pestilences” to strike the globe, and they will be even worse than what we have experienced so far. …

On top of everything else, the global persecution of Christians continues to rise.

The U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom just released a report that documented many of the specifics of this rising trend, and one expert that worked on the report stated that “Christians are being persecuted around the world at a pace not seen since the first century”.

Is it just a coincidence that all of these things are happening at the same time?

At this point, even some of the top faith leaders in the entire nation are acknowledging that we have entered a very ominous time.  …

The beginning of sorrows correspond to the ride of the four horsemen of the Apocalypse.

And, it appears that two of them may have began their ride already.

Without massive national repentance, the USA and its British-descended allies are headed for destruction–likely before the end of this decade (watch Is the USA prophesied to be destroyed by 2028?).

That being said, Michael Snyder is right that people should prepare themselves for something worse to begin as their will be more sorrows and troubles.

Jesus said:

34 “But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly. 35 For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth. 36 Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.” (Luke 21:34-36)

Heed Jesus’ words. To be accounted worthy, for basically everyone, means to change. Your focus also needs to be to care for others as a Philadelphian (see The Philadelphia Church Era and There is a Place of Safety for the Philadelphians. Why it May Be Near Petra).

This, however, is a good time to remind people to NOT heed false prophets (see also How To Determine If Someone is a True Prophet of God). Last Summer, Protestant minister Dana Coverstone made false predictions and told people to brace themselves. I denounced his false predictions then (see ‘THREE Prophetic WARNING DREAMS!!! “BRACE YOURSELVES” [Pastor Dana Coverstone]’) and time has proven me to be right.

And yes, he is also right that a worse pestilence than COVID-19 is coming:

7 When He opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature saying, “Come and see.” 8 So I looked, and behold, a pale horse. And the name of him who sat on it was Death, and Hades followed with him. And power was given to them over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword, with hunger, with death, and by the beasts of the earth. (Revelation 6:7-8).

The “official” death count for COVID-19 is 3.124 million people (https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/ accessed 04/26/21) and the total population is estimated to be 7.861 billion (https://www.worldometers.info/world-population/ accessed 04/26/21), then this is less than 0.04% of the total population. Since 1/4 of humankind dies with the ride of the fourth horseman (which suggests pestilences will cause probably around a billion or more people to die from them), and COVID-19 has not approached even 0.1%, COVID-19 is not the prophesied deadly pestilence and something worse is coming.

Fourth Horseman, COVID, and the Rise of the Beast of Revelation

The 6th chapter of the Book of Revelation tells of the ride of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. What do each represent? Revelation 6:1-8 shows the opening of four seals and discusses the rides of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. Each of which appears to be associated with aspects of the “beginning of sorrows” that Jesus mentions in the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, and Luke. What do each of the horsemen represent? A historical “Ecumenical Charter” was signed by Seventh-day Adventists, Roman Catholics, Orthodox, Anglicans, Evangelicals and Methodists on January 25th, in Bologna, Italy. The charter says that “the most important task of the Churches is to proclaim the Gospel together through word and action, for the salvation of all human beings. (Gendron M. Seventh-day Adventists, Roman Catholics and Evangelicals Sign a Historic ‘Ecumenical Charter’ that Affirms Faith in ‘One, Holy, Catholic Apostolic Church’

The document that was signed is a pledge of commitment to each other. Adventists pledged a commitment to Rome, and Rome reciprocated that commitment. Make no mistake. The churches that signed this document promised to uphold the principles of the Ecumenical Charter which includes affirming an allegiance to each other.

• The Ecumenical Charter declares that the church is “one, holy, catholic and apostolic” and therefore the “inescapable ecumenical task consists in making visible this unity.”

• The Ecumenical Charter declares that the churches are “called together in the unity of faith.”

• The Ecumenical Charter calls for the “visible unity of the Church of Jesus Christ in the one faith and in witness and in common service.”

• The Ecumenical Charter says that “the most important task of the Churches is to proclaim the Gospel together through word and action, for the salvation of all human beings.”

• The Ecumenical Charter states that the purpose of this document is to “to avoid harmful competition and the danger of new divisions.”

• The Ecumenical Charter recognizes “the spiritual gifts of the different Christian traditions” and appeals to every church to “welcome each other’s gifts.”

• The Ecumenical Charter laments the “painful sign of the division still existing between many Christian Churches” which according to them is due to the “lack of Eucharistic sharing.”

• The Ecumenical Charter encourages “ecumenical celebrations, common songs and prayers.”

The Ecumenical Charter was signed on the final day of the 2020 Week of Prayer for Christian Unity. A 17-minute sermon was given by Seventh-day Adventist Pastor Giovanni Caccamo to commemorate the ecumenical signing ceremony. [1] Pastor Giovanni Caccamo is the former Secretary of the Italian Union of Seventh-day Adventist Churches. …

There is a long history of ecumenism in Italy, and those responsible for this are at the highest levels of leadership in the church. …

Pastor Stefano Paris is the President of the Italian Union of Seventh-day Adventist Churches. He is the top Adventist leader in Italy. [6] [7] Not only does Pastor Stefano Paris oversee the churches throughout Italy, he is also a leading participant in the ecumenical movement.

Pastor Stefano Paris was featured in the 2019 Brochure advertising the 2019 United Nations Interfaith Harmony Week. When you look at the brochure you realize that the President of the Italian Union of SDA Churches is part of the “Interfaith Table of Rome!” …

The ecumenical crisis in Italy goes even higher than President Stefano Paris. Ted Wilson, President of the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, was in Rome with President Stefano Paris in 2018. Ted Wilson addressed specifically the ecumenical movement. …

In the above video Ted Wilson says we should not engage in the ecumenical movement or compromise our faith. But then he says that we must be in the “forefront” of making friends by being friendly with the leaders of other churches. These two statements are problematic when considering the current ecumenical crisis in Adventism.

Signing this Ecumenical Charter was not simply expressing friendship; it was entering into an ecumenical confederacy with the other churches. We have a major problem because we can’t seem to distinguish between being friendly and entering into ecumenical partnerships with Rome. On Saturday, 25 January the pastor of a local church congregation in Italy signed a joint declaration with other faith groups which, while focused on respectful dialogue among and between different religious denominations, contained some statements which run counter to Seventh-day Adventist principles regarding inter-church relations.

The administration of the Inter-European Division (EUD) disapproves the signing of the ecumenical charter, and reaffirms its position concerning the involvement of church entities and representatives in ecumenical endeavours.

As a result, the EUD Officers wish to clarify the involvement of Seventh-day Adventist Pastors and Leaders in meetings and events with representatives of other religious bodies.

The EUD encourages all its entities to abide by and offer education on the valuable principles that are contained in the Bible, in the writings of Ellen G. White and the various documents and statements produced by the Adventist Church concerning our relationship with other religions and denominations. We confirm that:

1. The Adventist Church favours dialogue and cordial relationships of mutual respect and understanding with other religious confessions, at all levels of church organization.
2. We are fully convinced and strongly defend that freedom of conscience and religious liberty is a right inherent to all human beings, not as something that we claim only for us, but as a right to be granted to all, even to those who think differently from us.
3. Dialogue and mutual understanding however, do not mean however agreeing with the others, just for the sake of securing cordial relationships.
4. Our fundamental beliefs have been carefully and painstakingly built on the sure foundation of the Bible. These statements of faith define our identity as a church and should always be kept as our hallmark.
5. As representatives of Adventist Church, we should clearly speak on behalf of the community that we represent. Thus, we should not negotiate or compromise regarding anything that goes against the principles of our Church and its fundamental beliefs.

We appreciate the statement of the Adventist Italian Union published on January 31. This clearly demonstrated that the event in Bologna does not change the official position of Adventist Church in Italy.

Statement of the Italian Union of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Dear sisters and brothers, we are aware of the discomfort, uneasiness and disappointment that has arisen from the news concerning an ecumenical event in which the Adventist Pastor Giovanni Caccamo took part and during which he signed a document entitled “Charta Ecumenica di Bologna”.

This event and the signing of the document do not represent the position of the Italian Union. As officers of the Italian Union, we were not aware of this programme which was a local initiative of the pastor of Bologna. We express our regret for the situation generated.

As officers and leaders of the church, we appreciate and support all initiatives that allow us to witness our faith with respect and friendship. It is our intention to ensure that our voice can be heard in every meeting, both ecumenical and otherwise, so that our faith can be shared with others.

However, we distance ourselves from any statement that undermines our evangelistic freedom or that leads us to conform to decisions made by others under the direction of one church. We cannot and will not recognize the authority of that church over our choices.

Therefore, even though the signed document may have good intentions as a whole, and despite the fact that we recognise the good intentions that inspired it – to establish a peaceful and respectful dialogue among and with the different religious denominations in the area – in some parts it does not reflect the official position of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Aware of this, we distance ourselves from this document.

May the Lord help us to be good witnesses of the Faith and Grace received in Christ, knowing that our mission must never be conditioned by any earthly organization or power.

It looks like some SDAs want to get closer to Rome, while some want to get as close to the compromise line as possible.

Officially, “Seventh-day Adventists … stress the conviction that many Roman Catholics are brothers and sisters in Christ” (How Seventh-day Adventists View Roman Catholicism. This statement was recorded on April 15, 1997, by the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists Administrative Committee (ADCOM) and released by the Office of the President, Robert S. Folkenberg).

Ultimately, more and more churches will realize that the Orthodox, Anglicans, Evangelicals and Methodists also signed that ‘Ecumenical Charter,’ and they do not have massive protests because of it.

This will, among other things, result in outlawing keeping the Sabbath in Europe and likely in most places throughout the world (see also Persecutions by Church and State).

But what about the Seventh-day Adventists?

Well, the SDAs have changed on many matters.

Originally they were NOT trinitarian, opposed crosses, nor did they observe Christmas.

As it turns out, their official logo now contains a cross:

The SDAs also consider themselves to be Protestant–yet Protestantism does NOT represent the true or original Christian faith (see also the free online book: Hope of Salvation: How the Continuing Church of God Differs from Protestantism).

The SDAs also have a variety of other unbiblical doctrines, many of which do align with the Greco-Roman-Protestants.

Because of their trinitarian change, the SDAs are eligible to be part of the Vatican’s agenda.

In December 2020, the Vatican released a set of instructions on ecumenical matters.  It was titled The Bishop and Christian Unity: An Ecumenical Vademecum. Basically, it says that if a faith professes Christ along with a trinitarian view, it is acceptable to the Church of Rome.

My prayer is for all, including the SDAs, to seek the truth, change, and hold to “the faith once for all delivered to the saints” (Jude 3).

Turkey Summons US Ambassador over Biden’s Armenian Genocide Declaration

WASHINGTON – Turkey says it summoned the U.S. ambassador to Ankara to condemn President Joe Biden’s declaration that the World War I-era massacre of hundreds of thousands of Armenians by the Ottoman Empire constituted a genocide.

Turkey’s Foreign Ministry said Deputy Foreign Minister Sedat Onal told U.S. Ambassador David Satterfield late Saturday that Biden’s statement had no legal basis and that Ankara “rejected it, found it unacceptable and condemned [it] in the strongest terms.”

The Ankara government said the United States, a NATO ally, had caused a “wound in ties that will be hard to repair.”

Earlier Saturday, Biden became the first U.S. president to make the genocide declaration in connection with the deaths of an estimated 1.5 million Armenians at the hands of the Ottoman Empire — the predecessor to modern-day Turkey — between 1915 and 1923. …

Moments after Biden made his statement Saturday, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu tweeted, “Words cannot change or rewrite history. We will not take lessons from anyone on our history.” …

While this is NOT the most important issue for Turkey (it was much more important to the Armenians), this is something that Turkey did not want to happen.

Turkey is not going to forget this.

In the future, it will take steps that the USA will not like.

Notice the first part of a prophecy:

2 For behold, Your enemies make a tumult;
And those who hate You have lifted up their head.
3 They have taken crafty counsel against Your people,
And consulted together against Your sheltered ones.
4 They have said, “Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation,
That the name of Israel may be remembered no more.” (Psalms 83:2-4)

Taking “crafty counsel” sounds like plotting terrorism (see also Why Terrorism? Is Terrorism Prophesied?). Enemies will conspire against ‘Israel.’ Who is that ‘Israel’?

Well, what most people do not understand is what Israel said concerning Joseph’s sons Ephraim and Manasseh:

16 The Angel who has redeemed me from all evil,
Bless the lads;
Let my name be named upon them,
And the name of my fathers Abraham and Isaac;
And let them grow into a multitude in the midst of the earth.” (Genesis 48:16)

Having Israel’s name being put on them makes those lads prophetically ‘Israel’! One of those “lads” (Manasseh) represents the USA (for more details, see Anglo – America in Prophecy & the Lost Tribes of Israel). And notice that the plan in Psalm 83 is to get rid of that nation.

Now, let’ notice more from the prophecy in Psalm 83:

5 For they have consulted together with one consent;
They form a confederacy against You:
6 The tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites;
Moab and the Hagrites;
7 Gebal, Ammon, and Amalek;
Philistia with the inhabitants of Tyre;
8 Assyria also has joined with them;
They have helped the children of Lot. (Psalms 83:5-8)

The ‘who’ that have consulted together and agreed to the conspiracy against the USA (and its British-descended allies) includes Turkey (called Edom above).

Psalm 83 is discussing an alliance involving Arab, Turkish, and European nations to make a destructive deal.

Notice that the Bible indicates that the Turks (who are not Arabs, but seem to be Edom in scripture) will make a deal with the rising European power (Assyria above), along with the Arabs and Turkey (Psalm 83). But since Edom seems to escape what happens to the King of the South in Daniel 11:40-43, despite a deal with the Arabs, Turkey is apparently not a going to be a strong supporter of the final King of the South for very long.  But apparently it will be for a short while.

Psalm 83 shows a deal between the Arabs, Turks, and Europeans (called Assyrians in Psalm 83) to destroy end time Israel. Which according to prophecies in Genesis 48, Daniel 11:39, Jeremiah 30:9, Isaiah 10:5-12, includes the USA and its Anglo-Saxon descended allies (see also Anglo – America in Prophecy & the Lost Tribes of Israel and USA in Prophecy: The Strongest Fortresses and Germany in Biblical Prophecy).

The late WCG evangelist Raymond McNair wrote:

Daniel 11 also mentions some of the Mideast peoples who will be involved in that struggle among the nations at the close of this age. The belligerents will include the “King of the North,” the leader of the European Union (or its final outgrowth, called the “Beast”). The “King of the South” (an Islamic leader—apparently from Egypt {or} some other Muslim state) is also referred to. The following lands/peoples are specifically mentioned: Egypt, the Holy Land (Israel/Palestine), the Ethiopians (modern Cushites, south of Egypt), Libya, Edom, Moab and Ammon. Many descendants of the ancient peoples known as Edomites or Idumeans now live in the West Bank, Jordan, Iraq, Turkey, Syria, Arabia, Yemen, the Persian Gulf states, etc. (McNair R. Solving the Arab-Israeli Impasse! Copyright Raymond F. McNair 2005, Church of God—21st Century).

Notice the following from the old Radio Church of God:

Turn to the astounding prophecy found in Psalm 83:1-8. David, inspired of God, predicted the coming time when ALL of Israel’s enemies would join together in an effort to crush out even the name “Israel” from the face of the earth! (Verse 4) “For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against thee…” (verse 5). Notice the nations making up this confederation. “Edom [Turkey], and the Ishmaelites [Saudi Arabia]; Moab [Jordan], and the Hagarenes [they anciently dwelt in the land known as Syria today]; Gebal {Lebanon}, and Ammon [Jordan] and Amalek; the Philistines with the inhabitants of Tyre; Assur [whose descendants migrated to Germany] is joined with them; they have helped the children of Lot” {Moab and Ammon in modern Jordan). Here we see that the Arab nations mentioned are allied with Germany (Assur) which we know from other prophecies will be the military leader — naturally so — of a United States of Europe…Egypt…will provoke the prophesied United Europe (Dan. 11:40). This European power — called the “king of the north” in Daniel 11 — shall invade and occupy the “glorious land” of Palestine (verse 41). “And the land of Egypt shall not escape”(Boraker R. SYRIA RAIDS ISRAEL – Where Is It Leading? Plain Truth. November 1966)

Turkey will be part of a confederacy that will conspire against the tiny nation of Israel as well as against the USA and its British-descended allies (see also Anglo – America in Prophecy & the Lost Tribes of Israel). However, since Assyria is involved in Psalm 83, this is also an alliance with a coming European power.

This alliance will result in the end of the USA as well as its British-descended allies.

New Chinese Decree Tells Religious Leaders to ‘Support the Communist Party’

The Chinese government is implementing a new decree on May 1 that will require all religious leaders to “follow the lead of and support the Communist Party.”

The decree, “Measures on the Management of Religious Professionals,” states that the preaching and teaching by religious professionals must in no way endanger China’s national security, promote extremism or divide the country.

It also requires religious professionals to resist the infiltration of foreign forces through religion. Religious leaders who violate the new decree will be subject to administrative sanctions and criminal charges.

“This decree goes against our religious beliefs, and the separation of politics and religion,” said Xu Yonghai, an elder at the Divine Love Fellowship of the Beijing House Church. “There will be a further narrowing of religious freedom and more severe crackdowns on believers.”

‘Sinicization’ of religion

“The church should not become a social group, let alone a political group,” said Xu, whose gathering was established in 1996 with a congregation mostly composed of dissidents and rights activists from across China.

He added that the decree promotes the implementation of the policy that “persists in our nation’s direction toward the Sinicization of religion.”

Article 36 of the Chinese Constitution says that citizens “enjoy freedom of religious belief.” It bans discrimination based on religion and forbids state organs, public organizations or individuals from compelling citizens to believe in — or not believe in — any particular faith.

It does not ban the Sinicization of religion, which is how the CCP shapes religious practices and thoughts to reflect its goals. It has been a key element of President Xi Jinping’s government since April 2016, when he delivered a speech at the National Religious Work Conference calling for the CCP to “actively guide the adaptation of religions to socialist society.”

At the 19th Party Congress in 2017, Xi emphasized that the CCP would “provide active guidance for religion and socialism to coexist.”

The issuance of the decree coincides with a push by the government-controlled national religious associations of Protestantism, Catholicism, Taoism, Buddhism and Islam to require all believers to study topics such as the histories of the CCP, the People’s Republic of China and socialism to mark the 100th anniversary of the CCP in July. https://www.voanews.com/east-asia-pacific/voa-news-china/new-chinese-decree-tells-religious-leaders-support-communist-party

As far as the Church of Rome goes, it already has accepted a lot of this, much to the dismay of many of its adherents (e.g., see ‘China Betrays Its Deal with the Vatican’).

Do NOT think that the idea that the government is above religion is only a Communist Chinese government position.

It, sadly, has long been the position of many judges and politicians in the USA.

And, it has been worsening, noticeably in 2020 and 2021.

A webpage created by the Family Research Council, called “Tracking the Biden Administration,” shows that more than half of the president’s executive actions have had one focus.

To undermine “life, family, and religious freedom.” …

“He has already racked up a record of targeting people of faith and faith-based organizations by demoting religious protections and demanding uniform affirmation of the transgender ideology. Those who hold to biological reality and the doctrines of the world’s major religions are being put in the position of either violating their consciences or being treated by the government as second-class citizens,” Perkins said.

“President Biden has consistently assaulted the very biological reality and science he claims guides his administration as he bowed to powerful interests who insist that girls can be boys and boys can be girls. He has even ordered schools to abolish girls’ sports and force boys and girls to use the same showers and locker rooms. Former Whitewater independent counsel Ken Starr lamented the decline of the influence of religion in today’s society on Friday, suggesting the retreat of faith and how political leaders used COVID-19 to restrict it further was at least in part responsible for a diminished social and community life. …

Mark of the Beast technology exists. Here is something that could be a precursor for 666:

According to an Amazon FAQ, the palm-scanning technology analyzes “the minute characteristics of your palm — both surface-area details like lines and ridges as well as subcutaneous features such as vein patterns” in order to identify a customer, allowing them to use the biometric scan as an alternative (and, theoretically, faster) method of checking out than fumbling around with a credit card or cash. Customers will be able to register their palms at kiosks in the supported Whole Foods stores, allowing them to associate a physical credit card to that palm scan.  …

Imagine a book written 2,000 years ago that perfectly foretells biometric payments attached to the human body with stunning accuracy ….Amazon One just took a giant step, no, make that two Genesis 6 giant steps forward this week.

“And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.” Revelation 13:16-18 (KJB)

Amazon One palm pay is not the Mark of the Beast, but it is grooming you to accept the Mark when it is offered in the days following the Pretribulation Rapture of the Church. Now that biometric technology is advanced sufficiently to allow people to ‘buy and sell’ using their body, it is a very, very short step to then putting that technology inside your body. …

This, while NOT the mark of the Beast, looks, from a technological and societal perspective at least, to be a type of precursor. This hand scanning is another move towards cashlessness.

Moving towards cashlessness was number 13 of 21 items to prophetically watch in 2021 :

Because of COVID concerns, some have not wanted to handle physical currency (watch COVID-19 Leading to 666?).

While COVID-19 is NOT the ride of the fourth horseman of the apocalypse, when that happens, people will be more willing to get rid of physical currency.

Notice the following prophecy:

16 He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, 17 and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

18 Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666. (Revelation 13:16-18)

It will be a European power that will fulfill the above prophecy of 666 (watch Can You Prove that the Beast to Come is European?).

It will likely take computers aided with artificial intelligence to aid in the fulfillment of the scriptures in Revelation 13:15-18, as well as cyber-spying/monitoring. I do believe that cyber monitoring will be used by the European Beast, King of the North, 666 power.

We are seeing a move to digital/electronic money (watch Blockchain, Karl Guttenberg, and 666 and Sweden going to ‘666’ cashlessness?). Knowledge of financial transactions is greatly increasing.

This type of financial surveillance could not have happened during the time of the Apostle John as there was no real way to monitor many financial transactions then (despite the fact that ‘preterists’ believe this was fulfilled almost 2000 years ago, see also The Dangerous Rise of Preterists). The same was true for all the centuries that followed until the late 20th and now the 21st century. But now not only does the technology exist to monitor most financial transactions, the political will is there as well.

While 2021 will not see a cashless world, expect to see more movements towards monitorable payments.

More digital currency use is coming.

The Bible essentially prophesies that totalitarian financial controls are coming to Europe:

16 He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, 17 and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

The type of controls prophesied in Revelation 13:16-18 were something that was not possible when Jesus had the Apostle John pen the above. But it is possible now with digital technology.

While Amazon One has started in the USA, various ones in Europe have wanted to be cashless.

Sweden going to ‘666’ cashlessness?

Sweden continues to reduce the amount of currency notes and coins in circulation as more and more Swedes turn to digital forms of payments. Even ‘farmers’ markets’ take debit and credit cards. Will this eliminate crime or lead to the rise of the Beast and Antichrist power? Could what is happening in Sweden be a prelude to the control of buying and selling that Revelation 13:16-18 associates with 666? Dr. Thiel addresses these issues from Stockholm, Sweden.

And Sweden is not the only country moving towards putting in a digitally monitorable, and potentially totalitarian approach to buying and selling.

The novel coronavirus of Wuhan, China fame, is now called COVID-19. It has also been called the ‘Coronapocalypse.’ Does COVID-19 have any prophetic ramifications? What did Jesus teach about pestilences and sorrows in the Olivet prophecy in Matthew 24? Could COVID-19 be the ride of the fourth horseman of the Apocalypse? Some, have long wanted that.

The European Union is in the process of establishing the European Public Prosecutor’s Office.This is a major, first-of-its-kind move, with the EU setting up a European-wide prosecutor’s office that will have power to investigate and charge people for financial crimes committed against the EU. It looks like this type of office may end up persecuting those that do not have the mark of the Beast when they “buy or sell” as that will later be considered a financial crime in Europe. Pushes towards digital currencies, totalitarian surveillance, digital immunity passports, social distancing, closed businesses, closed schools, closed churches, and travel restrictions are all consistent with the type of totalitarian controls that the Beast of Revelation will implement.

Yes, Europe will adopt some type of digital currency.
