China and Barack Obama sign off to accept UN’s COP21 climate agreement for ‘wellbeing of mankind’

At the G20 meeting in China, the USA and China announced their support of an international agenda:

HANGZHOU, CHINA —

The United States and China have both formalized their ratification of the Paris Agreement, a key step by the world’s two biggest polluters that aims to help bring the climate change accord into force this year.

U.S. President Barack Obama and Chinese President Xi Jinping announced the deal during a meeting in Hangzhou, which is hosting this year’s G-20 summit.

“This is not a fight that any one country no matter how powerful can take alone,” Obama said. “Someday we may see this as the moment that we finally decided to save our planet.”

Xi said he hoped the announcement would benefit everyone. “Our response to climate change bears on the future of our people and the wellbeing of mankind,” he said.

China’s state media announced early Saturday that its National People’s Congress had approved the decision at the closing of a week-long meeting. A report by the state-run Xinhua news agency highlighted China’s commitment to confront global warming and play a bigger role in global climate change governance.

Brian Deese, senior advisor to President Obama, said the announcement by Beijing and Washington sets a very clear path to help the Paris Agreement come into effect this year. …

In December of last year, negotiators from 179 countries and the European Union hashed out the final details of the Paris Agreement, but so far only 23 have ratified the accord. To go into effect, at least 55 countries, or those accounting for 55 percent of greenhouse gas emissions, need to ratify the agreement.

The ratification by two of the world’s biggest emitters is a big step in the right direction as China accounts for 25 percent of the world’s emissions and the United States 15 percent. …

The Paris Agreement sets aspirational post-2020 goals for countries that aim to cap global warming below two degrees Celsius and calls on signatories to set goals for peaking their carbon emissions. Once the deal has been ratified, countries have to wait a minimum of three years to exit.

Deese said that in addition to submitting their ratified agreements to U.N. The United States and China have formally joined the global climate change agreement reached in Paris last year. The decisions mark a major step towards the pact’s eventual implementation.

At a ceremony on the sidelines of the Group of 20 summit in China on Saturday, US President Barack Obama and Chinese President Xi Jinping delivered documents to UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon entering their countries into the pact.

China’s National People’s Congress adopted “the proposal to review and ratify the Paris Agreement,” according to the state-run Xinhua news agency. Xi called the agreement a milestone that marked the “emergence of a global government system” for climate change.

The ceremony took place shortly after Obama arrived in Hangzhou for the annual G-20 summit. Speaking in the presence of the Chinese president and United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, Obama said: “Just as I believe the Paris agreement will ultimately prove to be a turning point for our planet, I believe that history will judge today’s efforts as pivotal.” …

Though China really has a major pollution problem, this deal will NOT result in the long-term “wellbeing of mankind” as China’s President Xi Jinping is seemingly hoping for.

The Obama Administration can pretend it is only an “executive agreement” and not a treaty, but it actually is a treaty. However, since it is only approved as an “executive agreement,” the next USA president could negate it–though this would raise international ire.

For a little more background on this deal last December, a major international agreement was been announced in Paris in the COP21 meeting (Conference of the Parties, 21st meeting). The United Nations’ leader Ban Ki-moon pushed for this agreement and succeeded. The Vatican had done work for this as well, but mainly behind the scenes in Paris (see Role of Pope Francis ‘transformative’ for COP21 climate change conference). US President Obama attended the first part of the conference and pushed for this global climate deal (see Ecumenalists push for COP21 ‘climate change’ agenda: a solution for terrorism? Barack Obama seemingly wants to stay the course). Now he and the Chinese have signed something to accept it.

This COP21 Paris agreement is consistent with the Pope Francis’ Laudato Si encyclical in areas of international cooperation, climate matters, and forced wealth redistribution in the Spring of 2015.

The accord is basically a move towards socialism and world governance. Many want more of both.

The paper approved then was consistent with the “New Universal Agenda” that the 193 members of the United Nations approved in late September of 2015.

COP21 WILL NOT SAVE THE PLANET. IT IS NOT THE ‘BEST CHANCE’ to change the planet. IT WILL FAIL TO SAVE THE PLANET–the Great Tribulation will still come (cf. Matthew 24:21-22; watch also Can the Great Tribulation Start in 2016?). God will have to intervene to stop the world from destroying all life on it (Matthew 24:22; Revelation 11:18).

Barack Obama calls himself a Christian, but does not believe it will take Jesus in the millennial Kingdom of God to really solve the problems that are facing humanity. He has a false hope that humanity will solve problems on its own (cf. Psalm 146:3).

This COP21 agreement is likely to greatly benefit Germany. Germany is a world leader in developing cleaner types of engines. Germany also appears to be in the lead to produce energy via helium fusion, and hence reduce the need for fossil fuels (see also German helium fusion stellarator may help propel Europe to dominate the world).

The Bible prophesies that an economically-powerful Europe will arise (cf. Revelation chapters 13 and 18). This accord may help pave the way for nations to become wealthy trading with the end time power connected with Mystery Babylon the Great (Revelation 17:1-5), until it falls (Revelation 18:1-3).

Many world leaders believe that it will be international human cooperation that will bring a clean environment, peace, and prosperity. They do not believe it will take the Kingdom of God to make that happen. They do not realize that what they are working on is prophesied to succeed for a time, then fail.

World leaders will fight against the millennial kingdom of God message as it is not consistent with their agendas (e.g. Daniel 11:29-35). Many will even fight against Jesus when He returns, but will misidentify Him (see Do Certain Catholic Prophecies About Antichrist Warn Against Jesus?) and will lose (Revelation 19:11-21).

But that is not how they see it.

Today, the globalists have another major victory in their move towards a one-world human-led government. Expect other globalist victories, with also some difficulties, over the next several years. But the type of human-government they are pushing for, and will get, will be destroyed and replaced after the return of Jesus (Revelation 11:5; 19:11-21).
