US President Joe Biden’s mental abilities have been concerning for years (e.g. see Another memory gaffe from Joe Biden: Might Kamala Harris take power early?).

However, now more people are aware of them.

Some believe that Kamala Harris or Hillary Clinton could be the way forward for the Democrat party. A new poll has encouraged some of the Democrats towards them:

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Vice President Kamala Harris offer the Democratic Party its best chances of defeating former President Donald Trump in November’s election, according to a Democrat pollster.

Clinton leads Trump 43% to 41% and Harris leads the former president 42% to 41% in a new Bendixen & Amandi survey, Politico reported.

The survey also found that among likely voters who watched the debate:

• Only 29% say Biden has the mental capacity and physical stamina to serve another four-year term, and 61% say he does not.
• Only 33% say he should continue as the Democratic Party’s nominee, and 52% say he should not.
• Only 50% of Democrat voters say Biden should continue as the party’s presidential nominee.

Democrats have been in turmoil over Biden’s status since the debate, with many longtime supporters now saying the president should step aside at the party’s presumptive nominee.

President Joe Biden insists that only “the Lord Almighty” can convince him to quit the presidential race. But should he change his mind, Vice President Kamala Harris is by far the best positioned to replace him. …

When ABC’s George Stephanopoulos asked how he might be persuaded to leave the race, Biden laughed and replied, “If the Lord Almighty comes down and tells me that, I might do that.”

Rabbi Yosef Berger responded to this display of hubris.

“This is like God hardening Pharaoh’s heart,” Rabbi Berger said. “All of Egypt was pleading with Pharoah to release the Jews but he refused. Everyone saw on television that President Biden was senile but stands alone and insists he is not.”

“Biden forgot that God raises kings and takes them down. He is making excuses for his performance while refusing to acknowledge that God is king, and He caused him to fail to remove him from office.”

Harris’s full name is Kamala Devi Harris. Her mother, a Tamil Indian who had a Ph.D. and worked in breast cancer research, gave her the name for religious reasons, as both are the names of Hindu gods.

This connection to the Hindu pantheon was underscored in October 2020 when Kamala Harris’ niece, Meena Harris, a lawyer who has worked on Kamala Harris’ campaigns in the past, tweeted a photoshopped image in which the vice-presidential candidate’s face was superimposed on an image of the Hindu goddess Durga wielding a trident. In the image, the lion or the goddess’ “vahana” (vehicle) she was riding was altered to have the face of Joe Biden, and President Trump appeared as a fallen and vanquished buffalo demon ”Mahishasura”.  …

Kamala (also spelled Kamla) is another name for Lakshmi, the consort of Vishnu. Interestingly, just as the Hindu Deity Kamla was a consort, Kamala Harris dated San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown from 1994 to 1995 while serving as an Alameda County Deputy District Attorney and was 30 years his junior. Lately, Kamala Harris’ most public profile has been giving speeches to pledge support for abortion.

Kamala Harris Background, Immorality, and Prophetic Consequences

Kamala Devi Harris was born in Oakland, California on October 20, 1964.

“Kamala means ‘lotus’ and is another name for the Hindu goddess Lakshmi—and the empowerment of women” (^{Kim C, Stanton Z. 55 Things You Need to Know About Kamala Harris. Politico, August 11, 2020}). Kamala means lotus flower in Sanskrit. Whereas Devi is the Hindu deity also known as Mahadevi or ‘Great Goddess,’ the all-embracing Mother Goddess (^{Devi. Antcient History Encyclopedia. AncientHistory.eu accessed 12/16/20}).

Kamala Harris’ mother, Shyamala Gopalan, was a biologist from Tamil, India. Her father, Donald J. Harris, who became an economics professor at Stanford University, came to the U.S.A. from Jamaica. He and his parents are considered to have “Afro-Jamaican heritage,” which seems to be mainly a combination of British and African heritage.

Kamala’s parents divorced when she was 7. At age 12, she moved with her mother and sister to Quebec. She attended Westmount High School in Quebec, where she founded a dance troupe with a friend. Kamala later attended Howard University in Washington, D.C., where she earned a B.A. in political science and economics. Kamala Harris then enrolled at the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, earning her J.D. in 1989 (^{Kamala Harris Biography. Biography.com, accessed 12/16/20}).

Although 50% of people who take the California Bar exam pass on their first attempt, Kamala Harris did not (^{Caldera C. Fact check: True claim about Harris failing bar exam on first try and Barrett’s law school rank. USA Today, October 18, 2020}).

After she finally passed, Harris began her career as a deputy district attorney in Alameda County.

She later connected with a very powerful California politician named Willie Brown:

In 1994, Harris began dating Willie Brown, a powerhouse in California politics who was then the speaker of the state assembly and was 30 years older than Harris. From his perch in the assembly, Brown appointed Harris to the California Unemployment Insurance Appeals Board and the Medical Assistance Commission—positions that together paid her around $80,000 a year on top of her prosecutor’s salary (^{Kim C, Stanton Z. 55 Things You Need to Know About Kamala Harris. Politico, August 11, 2020}).

Willie Brown, … 60 year old and “his 29 year old mistress, Kamala.” … Brown was legally married at the time (^{Fact check: Kamala Harris and Willie Brown had a relationship over a decade after he separated from wife. Reuters, October 13, 2020}).

It appears obvious that her adulterous affair with a legally married and influential man assisted her career advancement. The view of comedienne Roseann Barr was that Kamala Harris “slept her way to the bottom” to get her political career going (^{Costly D. Roseanne Barr says Kamala Harris ‘slept her way to the bottom’. SF Gate, March 3, 2019}).

Later, as attorney general Kamala Harris “made waves for her refusal to defend Proposition 8, a 2008 California ballot measure” that defined marriage as between a male and female (^{Kamala Harris Biography. Biography.com, accessed 12/16/20}). Of course, that is also how Jesus defined marriage (cf. Matthew 19:4-5).

Kamala “Harris married lawyer Doug Emhoff on August 22, 2014, in Santa Barbara, California. She is the stepmother of his two children, Ella and Cole” (^{Kamala Harris Biography. Biography.com, accessed 12/16/20}). Her husband is Jewish.

In November 2016, she was elected to the US Senate.

In her 2019 book, The Truths We Hold: An American Journey, she has the following statement:

There, my earliest memories of the Bible’s teachings were of a loving God, a God who asked us “to speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves” and to defend the rights of the poor and needy” (^{Harris K. The Truths We Hold: An American Journey. Penguin Press, 2019, p. 16}).

Beyond that, there do not seem to be many truths Kamala Harris holds related to scripture. And for those of us who believe our religious rights are needy in the 21^st century, she along with Joe Biden has essentially stated that we must expect that the rights of those with certain differing views on sexuality surpass our own. Hence, from the perspective of a religious minority, it does not seem she takes such defense seriously.

There are reports that as an adult Kamala Harris claimed to have fallen from a stroller as a toddler at a protest rally and then said she wanted “fweedom” (“it turns out Kamala Harris lifted her “Fweedom” story from a 1965 Playboy interview with Martin Luther King, by Alex Haley”) and that she celebrated Kwanza before it was likely possible as it was a holiday invented in 1966 (^{Golden DC. Was Kamala just caught stealing a childhood story about ‘Fweedom’ from MLK? World Net Daily, January 5, 2021}). So, some have questioned aspects of her childhood memories.

“Kamala Harris, … attended services at both a Black Baptist church and a Hindu temple growing up – an interfaith background” (^{Schor E. Harris brings Baptist, interfaith roots to Democratic ticket. Associated Press, August 11, 2020}).  She now asserts she is a Baptist, holding membership at the Third Baptist Church of San Francisco.

Kamala Harris Prophecies?

Unlike Joe Biden, Kamala Harris is predominantly of Gentile heritage (as is this author).

The Bible teaches the following:

⁴³ The alien who is among you shall rise higher and higher above you, and you shall come down lower and lower (Deuteronomy 28:43). …

Kamala Harris is also female and looks to be one who is fulfilling the following prophecy in these end times:

¹² As for My people, children are their oppressors, And women rule over them. O My people! Those who lead you cause you to err, And destroy the way of your paths. (Isaiah 3:12)

While certainly there are places for women (Judges chapters 4 & 5) and Gentiles (2 Chronicles 36:22) in leadership positions, Isaiah does not suggest that this should be looked at as a great blessing.

Since the time of Margaret Thatcher, I have felt that it is likely that the U.S.A. would end up with a female president or at least a highly influential woman in a top level federal government job. As it turns out, the four remaining predominantly British-descended nations (the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand) all have had not only queens (they shared the same ones), but all have already had a woman in the office of prime minister. The prime minister is the chief executive official in a parliamentary system of governance.

While a female U.S. president is not strictly required per Isaiah 3:12, one should be considered likely. …

A Short Term for Joe Biden?

In October of 2020 Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi proposed changes to the 25^th Amendment to the US Constitution to make it easier for Congress to remove a president. if the president was incapable of the job. Some suspect, because of Joe Biden’s health and age, this was done to help pave the way for a Kamala Harris presidency.

Speaker Pelosi said the proposal was NOT directed towards Donald Trump, who then made the following statements about it:

Nancy Pelosi is looking at the 25th Amendment in order to replace Joe Biden with Kamala Harris … The Dems want that to happen fast because Sleepy Joe is out of it!!! … this 25th Amendment, I think they put it in so they can get Kamala in.” (^{Bowden E, et al. Trump says Pelosi’s 25th Amendment bill is about replacing Biden with Harris. NY Post, October 9, 2020})

I expect that Kamala Harris will either be the de facto president, possibly being the actual president of the U.S.A. as Joe Biden has issues that will lead to that.

If the following biblical prophecy has an end-time fulfillment, it seems to suggest that a male leader will be in charge when the U.S.A. falls:

⁷ As for Samaria, her king is cut off Like a twig on the water. ⁸ Also the high places of Aven, the sin of Israel, Shall be destroyed. The thorn and thistle shall grow on their altars; They shall say to the mountains, “Cover us!” And to the hills, “Fall on us!” … ¹⁰ When it is My desire, I will chasten them. Peoples shall be gathered against them When I bind them for their two transgressions. (Hosea 10:7,8,10)

If Hosea 10:7-10 has end-time connotations (and part of it seems to, cf. Revelation 6:16), AND presuming that the Hebrew word translated as “king” literally means a male, then it might be possible that Joe Biden could be the last President/leader of the United States. However, someone else could be the last as the year when the disaster in Hosea 10:7 would be fulfilled is not currently clear, nor do I believe it can happen prior to 2024. Plus, it is not clear that Joe Biden will actually remain in office, because of his age, physical, and mental health. (Thiel B. Biden-Harris: Prophecies and Destruction. Nazarene Books, 2021)

In biblical prophecy, Samaria is often a reference to the United States of America (see Spiritual Samaritans: Old and New and/or watch USA in Prophecy: Samaria).

It may well be that Kamala Harris will, for a time, be the de facto, if not the actual, President of the United States. But also, that a male may later become President of the United States during the final moments of its existence.

There are not too many years left for the USA to remain (see Might the U.S.A. Be Gone by 2028? and/or watch Is the USA prophesied to be destroyed by 2028?).

Therefore, presuming Isaiah 3:12 includes having a female USA President, we would expect to see this soon.

Does the European Union really use symbols that tie it in with end-time Babylon?

Yes.

First, let’s notice some biblical warnings about end-time Babylon:

1 Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and talked with me, saying to me, “Come, I will show you the judgment of the great harlot who sits on many waters, 2 with whom the kings of the earth committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth were made drunk with the wine of her fornication.”

3 So he carried me away in the Spirit into the wilderness. And I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast which was full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. 4 The woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls, having in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the filthiness of her fornication. 5 And on her forehead a name was written:

MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.

6 I saw the woman, drunk with the blood of the saints and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus. And when I saw her, I marveled with great amazement.

7 But the angel said to me, “Why did you marvel? I will tell you the mystery of the woman and of the beast that carries her, which has the seven heads and the ten horns. 8 The beast that you saw was, and is not, and will ascend out of the bottomless pit and go to perdition. And those who dwell on the earth will marvel, whose names are not written in the Book of Life from the foundation of the world, when they see the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.

9 “Here is the mind which has wisdom: The seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman sits. 10 There are also seven kings. Five have fallen, one is, and the other has not yet come. And when he comes, he must continue a short time. 11 The beast that was, and is not, is himself also the eighth, and is of the seven, and is going to perdition.

12 “The ten horns which you saw are ten kings who have received no kingdom as yet, but they receive authority for one hour as kings with the beast. 13 These are of one mind, and they will give their power and authority to the beast. 14 These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, for He is Lord of lords and King of kings; and those who are with Him are called, chosen, and faithful.”

15 Then he said to me, “The waters which you saw, where the harlot sits, are peoples, multitudes, nations, and tongues. 16 And the ten horns which you saw on the beast, these will hate the harlot, make her desolate and naked, eat her flesh and burn her with fire. 17 For God has put it into their hearts to fulfill His purpose, to be of one mind, and to give their kingdom to the beast, until the words of God are fulfilled. 18 And the woman whom you saw is that great city which reigns over the kings of the earth.” (Revelation 17:1-18)

1 After these things I saw another angel coming down from heaven, having great authority, and the earth was illuminated with his glory. 2 And he cried mightily with a loud voice, saying, “Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and has become a dwelling place of demons, a prison for every foul spirit, and a cage for every unclean and hated bird! 3 For all the nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth have become rich through the abundance of her luxury.”

4 And I heard another voice from heaven saying, “Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues. 5 For her sins have reached to heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities. 6 Render to her just as she rendered to you, and repay her double according to her works; in the cup which she has mixed, mix double for her. 7 In the measure that she glorified herself and lived luxuriously, in the same measure give her torment and sorrow; for she says in her heart, ‘I sit as queen, and am no widow, and will not see sorrow.’ 8 Therefore her plagues will come in one day — death and mourning and famine. And she will be utterly burned with fire, for strong is the Lord God who judges her. (Revelation 18:1-8)

So, there is a tie in with Babylon, the great city of seven-hills (Rome), and a woman riding a beast.

Notice some of what the Bible says about the original tower of Babel in the Book of Genesis.

1 Now the whole earth had one language and one speech. 2 And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar, and they dwelt there. 3 Then they said to one another, “Come, let us make bricks and bake them thoroughly.” They had brick for stone, and they had asphalt for mortar. 4 And they said, “Come, let us build ourselves a city, and a tower whose top is in the heavens; let us make a name for ourselves, lest we be scattered abroad over the face of the whole earth.”

5 But the Lord came down to see the city and the tower which the sons of men had built. 6 And the Lord said, “Indeed the people are one and they all have one language, and this is what they begin to do; now nothing that they propose to do will be withheld from them. 7 Come, let Us go down and there confuse their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech.” 8 So the Lord scattered them abroad from there over the face of all the earth, and they ceased building the city. 9 Therefore its name is called Babel, because there the Lord confused the language of all the earth; and from there the Lord scattered them abroad over the face of all the earth. (Genesis 11:1-9)

The European Union has 24 official languages. It also uses something like the Tower of Babel for some of its symbolism:

The above building was left intentionally unfinished by the Europeans. It should be of interest to note that the Tower of Babel was also an unfinished building.

Not enough of a connection?

Well, notice the following European poster from several years ago:

The trappings and the agenda that are going on do align with the type of political power that the Bible warns about. Notice also the following:

Europe has many ties to the Beast and the woman who rides it and this is reflected in official European coinage and art.

It should be noted that the flag of the European Union, which is supposed to have ‘Marian’ influence, has twelve stars. The Bible tells of a reorganization of Europe into ten kingdoms (Revelation 17:12), plus the Beast (Revelation 17:13) King of the North (Daniel 11:40), who is assisted by another Beast (Revelation 13:11-18), who is also known as the final Antichrist. Thus, we see twelve ‘kings’ which seems to tie in with the twelve stars on the EU flag (note the EU did not have 12 members when that flag was adopted.

That coin clearly depicts a woman riding a Beast.

The Bible itself warns about a religious system based out of the city of seven hills that rides the European Beast power.

Consider the European Union flag. Do you realize that although there were 15 nations in 1953 involved in the initial Council of Europe, a twelve star flag was adopted in 1955?

But why use twelve stars? Why hasn’t the Council of Europe (which has 47 member states, including the EU–which has 27 member nations) used another number or changed it?

Well, ‘Mary’ is prominent in an unusual way in the new European Union as she was the “inspiration” for its flag. According to the Times Online (November 16, 2005):

“The chosen flag was designed by Arsene Heitz, a German Roman Catholic who said that he had been inspired by a line in the Book of Revelation about the Virgin Mary wearing a crown of 12 stars, a common depiction in Christian iconography.”

Hence, we see a clear tie between Mary (called the “Queen of Heaven” by the Roman Catholics) and the flag for the European Union. The final European power will also be a religious one (Revelation 13:4,8).

Notice also the following from the Bible:

1 “Come down and sit in the dust,
O virgin daughter of Babylon;
Sit on the ground without a throne,
O daughter of the Chaldeans!
For you shall no more be called
Tender and delicate. (Isaiah 47:1)

42 … Set in array, like a man for the battle, Against you, O daughter of Babylon. (Jeremiah 50:42)

The Bible shows that this ‘virgin’ (Isaiah 47:8) makes the same statements that end time Babylon makes (Revelation 18:7). The European version of ‘Virgin Mary’ is not a biblical one, yet it is using symbolism which has prophetic ramifications. There are many similarities of the ‘virgin’ in Isaiah 47 and the ‘Mary’ that many venerate (see also Mary, the Mother of Jesus and the Apparitions).

While just having the symbols that the Bible warns about does not completely prove that Europe will fulfill various end-time prophecies related to the end-time Babylonian Beast power, Europe certainly has many symbols that are consistent with it.

Perhaps it should be added that Eastern Orthodox and Roman Catholic writings also tie Europe in with Babylon. Some are positive about it:

Monk Leontios (died 543): Rejoice, oh most unhappy one, oh New Babylon!…You, who are the New Babylon rejoice now on behalf of Zion! New Babylon, dance, bounce and leap greatly, make known even those in Haydes what a Grace you have received. Because that peace which was yours to enjoy in times past, and which God has deprived you of in course of battles, receive it once more from the hand of an Angel…oh, the City of Seven Hills the dominion will be yours. (Tzima Otto, pp. 82-83)

Abbott Joachim (died 1202)…A remarkable Pope will be seated on the pontifical throne, under special protection of the angels. Holy and full of gentleness, he shall undo all wrong, he shall recover the states of the Church, and reunite the exiled temporal powers. As the only Pastor, he shall reunite the Eastern to the Western Church…This holy Pope shall be both pastor and reformer. Through him the East and West shall be in ever lasting concord. The city of Babylon shall then be the head and guide of the world. Rome, weakened in temporal power, shall forever preserve her spiritual dominion, and shall enjoy great peace…At the beginning, in order to bring these happy results, having need of a powerful assistance, this holy Pontiff will ask the cooperation of the generous monarch of France (Great Monarch). A man in Israel died from an extremely rare amoeba that causes encephalitis, also known as the brain-eating amoeba. The prophet Zechariah described plagues that away at the human body as accompanying the pre-Messiah War of Gog and Magog, leading some to speculate that this may be setting the stage for the final war that is beginning to unfold in Israel right now. https://israel365news.com/392826/zechariahs-plague-2nd-man-dies-from-brain-eating-amoeba/

No, the above case of a “brain-eating amoeba” is not a sign of “the pre-Messiah War of Gog and Magog.” For one thing, there is no Gog and Magog was before Jesus returns. That war is long after He comes back.

As far as when Zechariah 14:12 will be fulfilled, the late Pastor General of the old Worldwide Church of God, Herbert W. Armstrong wrote:

When the glorified all-Powerful Christ first comes again to earth, the nations will be angry. The military forces gathered at Jerusalem will try to fight Him! I said “try.” But far more powerful armies follow Christ from heaven — all the holy angels (Revelation 19:14, identified in Matthew 25:31).    Want to see a description of that battle — and what will happen to those hostile human armies?

In Revelation 17, the armies of the now-rising United States of Europe — the resurrected Roman Empire — are referred to in verse 14: “These shall make war with the Lamb [Christ], and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings ….”

But how will He overcome them? We find that in the 14th chapter of Zechariah:

“And this shall be the plague wherewith the [Eternal] will smite all the people [armies] that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth” (Zechariah 14:12).

Perhaps it is even plainer in the Revised Standard Version: “And this shall be the plague with which the [Eternal] will smite all the people that wage war against Jerusalem: their flesh shall rot while they are still on their feet, their eyes shall rot in their sockets, and their tongues shall rot in their mouths.”

This rotting of their flesh off their bones will happen almost instantaneously — while they are still on their feet.

What a divine retribution against armies that will fight against Christ. What a demonstration of the Divine Power with which the glorified Christ will rule all nations. Rebellion against God’s Law and God’s rule must, and speedily will be put down. (Armstrong HW. The Wonderful World Tomorrow – What It Will Be Like. Everest House, 1979, pp. 35-36)

The above does not mean that there cannot be an amoeba plague, but simply supports the view that the amoeba plague is NOT related to the fulfillment of Zechariah 14:12.

As far as plagues go, the bird flu may be one. Some have started to be vaccinated against it:

WORKERS AT POULTRY and fur farms in Finland will, in the coming days, receive vaccines against bird flu. Fourteen other EU countries have signed up to procure bird-flu vaccines through a programme set up by the European Commission. America’s government has also bought vaccines in anticipation of a pandemic. And it recently commissioned Moderna, a pharmaceutical company, to create an mRNA bird-flu vaccine using a technology that was effective in protecting against covid-19. So why are countries vaccinating people against bird flu?

The illness is also called avian flu or highly pathogenic avian influenza. The usual carriers are wild waterfowl; when these birds migrate, so does the virus. It is easily transmitted to domestic poultry and is highly contagious and deadly for them. Usually it is rare for bird flu to infect mammals, including humans. But the strain of the virus that is currently circulating, H5N1, has infected hundreds of mammals. This spring it was found in dairy cows in Texas. It has since been found in dairy herds in at least 12 American states. With each mammal that is infected, there is a possibility that the virus mutates, allowing it to jump to humans more easily.

In the nearly three decades since H5N1 was first detected in geese in China, worldwide around 900 people are known to have been infected, usually from contact with infected birds. No one has got bird flu from cooking or eating cooked chicken.  No one has got the virus from eggs. No one has got the virus from milk or dairy products.  No one has got the virus from eating beef.   The virus was isolated in 1959 but there were no known human cases until 1997.

The first cases in 1997 occurred in Hong Kong.  Interestingly, a month before Hong Kong was handed over to China by the British.

So what is the bird flu and why are they repeatedly trying to start a “pandemic” with it?  …

In a presentation through ‘Reality with Bruce de Torres’, Dr. Nass went over the history of bird flu, the many things that don’t make sense in the narrative and how we may already be in another plandemic.  Selected quotes below from the presentation re as follows:

Right On Time: Fourth Human Bird Flu Cases Surfaces

The fourth case of human bird flu has surfaced in Colorado. This is right on time (or it is another wild coincidence) for Moderna to have been awarded $176 million to produce an mRNA bird flu vaccine.

As we know, Moderna already has a bird flu vaccine in very early-stage testing that uses the same mRNA technology that allowed rapid development and rollout of “vaccines” to protect against COVID-19. Could the bird flu be a set up?

Yes, but could it be for real?

Yes.

There is an old story about the boy who cried wolf. Basically, it goes like this: A boy is tending sheep. He is bored. He decides to see what happens if he yells out, “Wolf, wolf.” People from the village come to assist, but there is no wolf and the boy laughs at them. They go away. Another day he does the same thing and gets the same result. But the next week, a real pack of wolves arrive. The boy screams out, “Wolf, wolf.” But this time, the people do not respond as they do not believe him. The wolves come and eat the boy and the sheep.

Why bring this up?

Various ones have been promoting fear the past several years related to COVID. Yet, although many have died with COVID, it appears that most who died were infirmed or elderly. The actual death rate for the healthy from COVID-19 was not especially high. Many public officials lost credibility. Yet, many who opposed to them have also spread false information and fear.

When a prophesied pandemic with a much higher death rate appears, many will not take it seriously enough.

But such a deadly pestilence will come:

7 When He opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature saying, “Come and see.” 8 So I looked, and behold, a pale horse. And the name of him who sat on it was Death, and Hades followed with him. And power was given to them over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword, with hunger, with death, and by the beasts of the earth. (Revelation 6:7-8)

The ride of the fourth horseman will result in the death of 1/4 of humanity–with much of that from disease!

That is much worse than what we saw from COVID.

What will then happen a few years from now?

The Bible shows that the coming European King of the North beast will gain power after a time of death and pestilence.

While COVID-19, itself, was not that, it seems to have helped set the stage for people to turn to such a leader.

Bird Flu and 4th Horseman’s Ride

The World Health Organization (WHO) is greatly concerned that the avian flu (H5N1) is passing to cows and goats and then to humans. Have farmers done anything, like feeding chicken manure, to cows that might have affected them? Were unnatural feedings of ground up animals to cows (which are vegetarians) the cause of ‘mad cow disease’? Does the avian flu have an exceedingly high mortality rate for humans? Have any scientists suggested bird flu could be 100 times worse than COVID? Are the USA and China working on making bird flu more infectious? If so, why? Can scientists control all that can happen with biological experiments? Did Jesus warn about pestilences? Could scientists, farmers, corporations, governments, or just regular consumers cause diseases like will happen during the ride of the fourth horseman of the Apocalypse? Let me also add, that the ride of the 4th horseman begins after the opening of the fourth seal, and that is followed by the opening of the fifth seal, which is the start of the Great Tribulation.

Yes, some variation of the bird flu could be tied to the opening of the fourth seal of Revelation and the ride of the fourth horseman of the Apocalypse.

But no, the brain-eating amoeba is NOT related to the Gog and Magog war of Ezekiel 38.

Even before votes were cast, the election redrew France’s political map. It galvanized parties on the left to put differences aside and join together in the new leftist alliance. It pledges to roll back many of Macron’s headline reforms, embark on a massively costly program of public spending and take a far tougher line against Israel because of the war with Hamas.

Macron described the left’s coalition as “extreme” and warned that its economic program of many tens of billions of euros in public spending, partly financed by tax hikes for high earners and on wealth, could be ruinous for France, already criticized by EU watchdogs for its debt.

Yet, the New Popular Front’s leaders immediately pushed Macron to give the alliance the first chance to form a government and propose a prime minister.

Mélenchon has long been a figure on the left, first in the Socialist Party and as a senator. He founded the hard-left France Unbowed party in 2016 but failed to reach the presidential runoff in 2017 and 2022. He then allied his party with the Socialists, Communists and greens to form the New Popular Ecological and Social Union.

Mélenchon is a divisive figure who angers many moderates. The alliance fell into disarray because of divisions over the Hamas-Israel war. The France Unbowed party condemned the conduct of Israel’s war against Hamas and accused it of pursuing genocide against Palestinians. This surprise upset which has reduced the National Rally (RN) to third place – with perhaps 150 seats compared with predictions a week ago of nearly 300 – is due entirely to voters turning out in large numbers to stop them.

The RN will argue – with some justice – that this was only possible because the other parties came together to play the system.

They note that the disparate parties of the left all suddenly forgot their differences to form a new anti-RN coalition; and then that the Macronites and the left forgot their differences too.

They note that nothing unites these politicians (from Edouard Philippe on the centre right to Philippe Poutou of the Trotskyist left) except their opposition to the RN. And that this lack of agreement bodes ill for the future. https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cgrlxn4ngdgo

There have been protests by the left and the right in France.

A hung parliament is an unstable one.

France is looking more like a “house divided” (Matthew 12:25).

Jacob, called Israel by God, said the following to his son Reuben:

3 “Reuben, you are my firstborn,
My might and the beginning of my strength,
The excellency of dignity and the excellency of power.
4 Unstable as water, you shall not excel,
Because you went up to your father’s bed;
Then you defiled it —
He went up to my couch.  (Genesis 49:3-4)

Various writers, in and not in Church of God groups, have pointed to France as being at least partially descended from the tribe of Reuben. Hence, they have applied the unstable prophecy to France.

Expect civil unrest in France.

Now, last month a reader sent me a link to an article in Italian (https://www.maurizioblondet.it/99237-2/) related to some Roman Catholic private prophecies, which I machine-translated into English:

France will be destroyed – Prophecies

We are approaching that terrifying civil war which will affect France first and then Italy.

“ France will descend into a terrible anarchy. The French will have a desperate civil war in the course of which even the old men will take up arms .”  Blessed Taigi

The revolution will spread to every French city.  There will be a great massacre.  This revolution will only last a few months but it will be terrible;  blood will flow everywhere because the malice of the wicked will reach its peak.  The victims will be countless. Paris will look like a slaughterhouse… The wicked will be the masters for a year and a few months. In those days, France will not receive any human help. She will be alone and defenseless. Paris will be almost entirely destroyed. ”   Ecstasy of Tours

“ The persecutions against the Church will be even greater,  but they will not last for long. All churches will be closed… The priests will have to hide. The wicked will try to destroy everything religious, but they will not have enough time. Many bishops and priests will be put to death.  The Archbishop of Paris will be assassinated. Many other priests in Paris will have their throats cut,  because they won’t have time to find a place to hide…”  Estatic from Tours

When peace seems to be approaching (conference in Switzerland…we are starting to talk about negotiations for Ukraine which will, however, be ephemeral), while in reality the real war (with Russia) is looming on the horizon, in France there will be a civil war with related persecution of many Catholics.

This quatrain seemed to be in line with other prophecies of mystics and seers.

“ The war is near .  It will be started with false peace treaties , treaties that we should not trust. Many countries should be involved, including: China, Romania, Russia and the United States. Initially Poland will also be involved, but when the Holy Father leaves Rome, going first to France and then to Poland, Poland will be protected… this is why conversion is so important now.”  Patricia Talbot, Ecuador

“ When those things are accomplished which will produce the triumph of the Church… In France two factions will be formed which will fight each other to the death… At that time there will be a crisis so terrible that people, frightened by events, will believe that the end of the world. Blood will flow in numerous major cities.

During this revolution, which will most likely be general and not confined to France, Paris will be destroyed in such a complete manner that twenty years later, when fathers walk over its ruins with their children, they will ask what place was that, at that they will answer him: “My son, this was once a great city, which God destroyed because of its crimes.”

I found this quatrain

IX .52
Peace is approaching on one side, and war,
Never has there been such great persecution,
Man, woman, innocent blood on earth will cry,
and this will be in France at all events.

Now, those are not biblical prophecies. However, I am familiar with many of the Roman Catholic private prophecies, as I have long reported them related to Paris or other parts of France.

For years, I have warned about civil unrest in France:

Will there be civil war or civil unrest in France?  While this may seem far fetched to many, it was something that was covered in my book 2012 and the Rise of the Secret Sect. …

If civil war/riots/civil unrest do occur in Europe on a large scale, this likely will set the stage for the rising up of a military leader to resolve this. Catholic prophecies specifically suggest that this will happen and they tend to refer to this leader as the “Great Monarch” (or the “Great King”).

This “Great Monarch”, however, seems to have a lot in common with the prophesied final King of the North and Beast from the Bible. So, if there is major civil unrest across Europe, and likely including France, this would seem to indicate that this leader will rise up fairly soon.

Civil unrest in Europe is expected. Places such as France, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Italy, and Eastern Europe have potential for this occurrence. In addition to austerity measures, Islamic protests and immigration related issues will also likely be factors in flaming protests and devastating riots. Paris and other parts of France may be in for a rough time. …

The Bible also tells of a time when a European power will reorganize (Revelation 17:12-13). While I do not believe that we are to the point of fulfilling the reorganization required by Revelation 17:12-13, it seems that a variety of steps will be necessary for the final reorganization to occur. Some of those steps, especially if they involve austerity/budget cuts and immigration policies, may stir more violent protests in the future. Violent protests can lead to militaristic leaders rising up, and a major militaristic leader rising up is consistent with biblical prophecy (cf. Daniel 11:39-44; Revelation 13:3-4). Europe should expect civil unrest and rioting.  The President of Italy now publicly worries about it, others in Europe have concerns (see Nigel Farage expecting violent revolution in Europe), and France is also at risk. …

The belief that those in France (as shown in certain Catholic prophecies above) will turn to “Mary” is consistent with certain biblical (Isaiah 47; Revelation 17; 2 Thessalonians 2:8-12) and other Catholic prophecies as detailed in my book Fatima Shock! Additionally, the current Pope Francis has also been taking steps to try to turn people to “Mary” which is consistent with various prophecies (Pope Francis: Could this Marian Focused Pontiff be Fulfilling Prophecy?).

The“Great Monarch” of Catholic prophecy seems to have a lot in common with the prophesied final King of the North and Beast from the Bible. So, if there is major civil unrest across Europe, and likely including France, this would seem to indicate that this leader could rise up fairly soon. Civil unrest and/or civil war will erupt in Europe. Places such as France, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Austria, Greece, and Eastern Europe (like Slovenia, Croatia, Moldova, and Bulgaria) have potential for this occurrence. The President of France is making changes related to Islam in his country … This may result in Islamic civil unrest in France. Europe should expect civil unrest, violence, and rioting. (Thiel B. Is France’s Macron going to trigger Islamic civil unrest? COGwriter, February 23, 2020)

Europe, and not just France, is moving against the waves of immigration that have affected it. … Yet, expect protests and even terrorism to hit parts of Europe, including France, because of anti-migrant moves.

Steps leading to the Great Tribulation, as well as reactions in Europe against Muslims, are taking place.

So, yes, I have pointed out the expectation of severe civil unrest in France.

Why? Well, one reason is that the Bible shows that terrorism is prophesied:

14 ‘But if you do not obey Me, and do not observe all these commandments, 15 and if you despise My statutes, or if your soul abhors My judgments, so that you do not perform all My commandments, but break My covenant, 16 I also will do this to you: I will even appoint terror over you, wasting disease and fever which shall consume the eyes and cause sorrow of heart. And you shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it. 17 I will set My face against you, and you shall be defeated by your enemies. Those who hate you shall reign over you, and you shall flee when no one pursues you. (Leviticus 26:14-17)

25 The sword shall destroy outside; There shall be terror within (Deuteronomy 32:25)

12 “Cry and wail, son of man; For it will be against My people, Against all the princes of Israel. Terrors including the sword will be against My people; Therefore strike your thigh. (Ezekiel 21:12)

12 Behold, these are the ungodly,Who are always at ease; They increase in riches…19 Oh, how they are brought to desolation, as in a moment! They are utterly consumed with terrors. (Psalms 73:12,19)

25 Because you disdained all my counsel, And would have none of my rebuke, 26 I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your terror comes, 27 When your terror comes like a storm, And your destruction comes like a whirlwind, When distress and anguish come upon you. (Proverbs 1:25-27)

5 Also they are afraid of height, And of terrors in the way (Ecclesiastes 12:5).

Terror: Will Paris be Destroyed?

Fear is a powerful motivator and many in France and elsewhere in Europe fear migrants, as well as the effects of Islamic immigration. There are various ones opposed to this (e.g. see ‘Islamized France: Controversy Erupts as Illegal Mosque Causes Chaos and Violence in Paris Suburb’).

The time will come when France, and much of the rest of Europe, will take strong steps against Islam. If the current election freezes that for a time, it will still come according to biblical prophecies.

Now, here are more private prophecies from some of the Greco-Roman leaders and saints; they predict civil unrest and war in France, including what is claimed to be the destruction of Paris:

Desmond Birch (20th century): Civil war breaks out in France and Italy at almost the same time. This is the sign given by many prophets that the Chastisement has begun..(Birch DA. Trial, Tribulation & Triumph: Before During and After Antichrist…The Great King will establish Peace and justice in civil matters on a worldwide basis, and protect the primacy of the Church in spiritual matters. Queenship Publishing Company, Goleta (CA), 1996, p. 554)

The Ecstatic of Tours…The revolution will spread to every French town. Wholesale slaughter will take place. This revolution will last only a few months but it will be frightful; blood will flow everywhere because the malice of the wicked will reach its highest pitch. Victims will be innumerable. Paris will look like a slaughter-house. Persecutions against the Church will be even greater, but it will not last long…Many bishops and priest will be put to death. The archbishop of Paris will be murdered…At this juncture, the French people will turn back to God and implore the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Mary Immaculate…The French people will ask for the good King, he who was chosen by God. He will come, this saviour whom God has spared for France, this King who is not wanted now because he is dear to God’s Heart. Jeanne le Royer (Sister of the Nativity). The storm began in France, and France shall be the first theatre of its ravages after having been its cradle. (Dupont, p.59)

Prophecy of Mayence Woe to thee, great city (Paris); woe to thee, city of vice! Fire and sword shall succeed fire and famine. Courage faithful souls! The reign of the dark shadow shall not have time to execute all its schemes. But the time of mercy approaches. A prince of the nation is in your midst. He is the man of salvation, the wise, the invincible, he shall count his enterprises by his victories. He shall drive the enemy out of France, he shall march from victory to victory, until the day of divine justice. Foretelling the fall of France and England, the famous Jesuit Father Necton, said in 1772, “When England shall wane in power, the destruction of Paris will be near at hand” (Culligan E. The Last World War and the End of Time. The book was blessed by Pope Paul VI, 1966. TAN Books, Rockford (IL), p. 84).

Birch Tree Prophecy (Old German) “When the world becomes Godless: revolutions will break out against kings; fathers will be against sons and sons against fathers; dogma will be perverted; men will try to overthrow the Catholic Church…A terrible war will find the north fighting against the south. The south will be led by a Prince wearing a white coat with a cross on the front…” (Culleton, R. Gerald. The Prophets and Our Times. Nihil Obstat: L. Arvin. Imprimatur: Philip G. Scher, Bishop of Monterey-Fresno, November 15, 1941. Reprint 1974, TAN Books, Rockford (IL), p. 143).

Jean Paul Richter (d. 1809): Through a terrible purgatory Europe will return to the faith (Culleton, p. 182).

Monk Hilarion (d. 1476): The people of the Peninsula of Europe will suffer by unnecessary wars until the Holy Man comes (Culleton, p. 137).

Brother Louis Rocco (19th century): Terrible wars will rage all over Europe…Russia will witness many outrages. Great cities and small towns alike will be destroyed in a bloody revolution… (Dupont, p.76)

Brother Louis Rocco (19th century): All over Europe there will rage terrible civil wars…The German sections of Austria will join Germany, so will also the commercial cities of Belgium and Switzerland. A Catholic descendant of a German imperial house will rule a united Germany with peace, prosperity and great power, for God will be with this sovereign (the Great Monarch?)…A Great Monarch will arise after a period of terrible wars and persecutions in Europe. He will be a Catholic; he will not be a German (Culleton, p. 195).

Priest Lavinsky (died 1708): The world will be harassed by civil wars…the Cross, to the astonishment of all, will shine in double splendor through many lands because of the great ruler (Connor Edward. Prophecy for Today. Imprimatur + A.J. Willinger, Bishop of Monterey-Fresno; Reprint: Tan Books and Publishers, Rockford (IL), 1984, pp.36-37).

John of the Cleft Rock (1340): The White Eagle (Great Monarch), by order of the Archangel Michael, will drive crescent from Europe where none but Christians will remain–he himself will rule from Constantinople. An era of peace and prosperity will begin for the world. There will no longer be Protestants {there were no “Protestants” then and author Connor of that book suggests that perhaps this word should have been translated as heretics} or schismatics…God will raise up a holy Pope (Connor, pp. 33-34)

Venerable Bartholomew Holzhauser (died 1658):…”When everything has been ruined by war; when Catholics are hard pressed by traitorous co-religionists and heretics; when the Church and her servants are denied their rights, the monarchies have been abolished and their rulers murdered…then the hand of Almighty God will work a marvelous change, something apparently impossible according to human understanding. There will rise a valiant monarch anointed by God. He will be a Catholic, a descendant of Louis IX, (yet) a descendant of an ancient imperial German family, born in exile. He will rule supreme in temporal matters. (Connor, pp.35-36)

Why mention any of these as they are not from the Bible?

Because some of the events predicted by Greco-Roman Catholics are consistent with biblical prophecy and many will misinterpret them.

Basically, Roman and Eastern Orthodox Catholic private prophecies indicate that because of turning away from the ‘Catholic faith’ in Europe, God will punish Europe with something called a ‘minor chastisement.’  This is called ‘minor’ to contrast it with the ‘great’ tribulation of the Bible (Matthew 24:21):

Desmond Birch (20th century): At some time in the future, the corrupt faithless age we live in now will come to an end either through repentance (immediately followed by an age of peace)–or there will be a chastisement. This would be a Minor Chastisement preceding an Age of Peace. It is not the Tribulation of the Antichrist… (Birch DA. Trial, Tribulation & Triumph: Before During and After Antichrist…The Great King will establish Peace and justice in civil matters on a worldwide basis, and protect the primacy of the Church in spiritual matters. Queenship Publishing Company, Goleta (CA), 1996)

The ‘minor chastisement’ seems to take place during what Jesus called “the beginning of sorrows” (Matthew 24:4-8), which proceeds the great tribulation (vs. 21).  While the Bible does not say whether or not Paris itself will be destroyed prior to the ‘great tribulation,’ even partial destruction of Paris may be seen by many as partial validation of Roman and Eastern Orthodox Catholic private prophecy.

Notice something that the Apostle Paul wrote:

1 Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, 2 speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron (1 Timothy 4:1-2).

I believe that these “doctrines of demons” are consistent with what I have called Satan’s Plan.  Satan certainly is familiar with the Bible (cf. Matthew 4:2-11), and Satan and his demons have had centuries to influence various mystics and others to record an alternative to God’s plan. We Christians realize that Satan “deceives the whole world” (Revelation 12:9):

11 lest Satan should take advantage of us; for we are not ignorant of his devices.  (2 Corinthians 2:11)

False prophecies are one of his devices.

As far as Roman and Eastern Orthodox Catholic private prophecies go they basically teach, that because of the ‘minor chastisement’ of civil unrest and civil war, that military leaders will arise in Europe.

They teach that one of these leaders is destined to become the “Great Monarch.” He will change the Catholic faith (cf. Daniel 11:37-38), so much that some of the French clergy and cardinals will be offended:

D. Birch (20th century): Many of the prophecies speak of the fact that the Great King at first will not be well-liked, especially by the French clergy (Birch, pp. 276)

Gameleo (possibly 16th century):  The Great Lion will arise when the Holy See has been moved to Mentz, and a Sabinian elected Pope.  There will have been much dissension among the cardinals. (Culleton, The Prophets and Our Times, p. 170)

(A Sabinian appears to possibly be a diplomat or aristocrat; Mentz is the German town of Mainz.)

However, Roman Catholic prophecy also indicates that a pontiff who does miracles will crown him as the final ‘Holy Roman Emperor’:

Bl. Anna-Maria Taigi (19th Century)…”After the three days of darkness, St. Peter and St. Paul, having come down from Heaven, will preach in the whole world and designate a new Pope. A great light will flash from their bodies and will settle upon the cardinal who is to become Pope. Christianity, then, will spread throughout the world. He is the Holy Pontiff, chosen by God to withstand the storm. At the end, he will have the gift of miracles, and his name shall be praised over the whole earth (Birch, pp. 362-363).

The Great King will be crowned Holy Roman Emperor by the reigning Pope (Birch, p. 555).

This “Great Monarch,” however, seems to have a lot in common with the prophesied final King of the North (Daniel 11:21-45) and Beast of the sea from the Bible (Revelation 13:1-10).  So, if there is major civil unrest across Europe, and including France, this would seem to indicate that this leader will rise up fairly soon.

Notice an Eastern Orthodox prophecy about him, followed by a warning from the Bible:

Anonymou Paraphrasis (10th century): The one true King…is destined to become manifest [be revealed]…by means…of signs… The King will hear the voice and instructions by an Angel appearing to him…he has foresight and is cognizant of the text of the prophecies…the name of the King is hidden [concealed] among the nations…And the particular manner of the king’s manifestation to the public [to the world] will take place as follows: A star will appear [will become visible] for three days long and during the third hour of the night, on the eve of the feast day of the Mother of the Most High (it will become visible) in the Middle of the City. And this star is not one among the planets…And a herald speaking with a very loud voice in the course of the three days will summon and unveil the hoped for one…There will become visible in the sky a ‘nebulous firmament of the sun’…under that image will be suspended a cross…And the invisible herald from Heaven with his thunderous voice will say to the people: Is this man agreeable to you?  At that moment everybody will be taken by fear and terror…they will elevate him on a high spot and will proclaim him (their) hereditary Monarch (Tzima Otto, H.  The Great Monarch and WWIII in Orthodox, Roman Catholic, and Scriptural Prophecies. Verenika Press, Rock City (SC), 2000, pp. 30, 31, 32, 50-51,52,53).

9 The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, 10 and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.  (2 Thessalonians 2:9-10)

So, both biblical and non-biblical prophecies point to a leader that will arise with signs and wonders. Greco-Roman Catholic prophecy looks forward to this leader, while biblical prophecy warns against him. Perhaps it should be noted that because many Church of God groups have misidentified this leader, that they will NOT realize what is happening until it is basically too late to flee (details are in the article Who is the Man of Sin of 2 Thessalonians 2?).

The Bible, in the Book of Daniel, tells of one called the King of the North (Daniel 11:21-44). In Revelation, he is called the Beast of the Sea (Revelation 13:1-10).

This leader is described as a warring man who essentially changes religion and gets people to ultimately worship him. The Bible also shows that he will specifically eliminate the nominally Protestant USA (Daniel 11:39) and then the predominantly Muslim nations of the Middle East and North Africa (Daniel 11:40-43).

Events in France are leading to the fulfillment of biblical prophecies.

Is the end of the world near?

Yes!

When is the earliest year that the Great Tribulation can begin?

Various ones seem to feel that it can begin in 2024 or 2025 or that it already started some time ago.

Those who believe and understand what the Bible actually teaches realize that the Great Tribulation cannot begin before 2028.

Jesus gave a variety of signs/events that had to happen prior to the start of the Great Tribulation in Matthew 24. Not only have many not happened, a preceding event in Daniel 9:27 involving the confirmation of a seven-year deal still has not happened. Since it did not happen as of yet, this means that it is not possible for the Great Tribulation to begin for at least 3 1/2 years (half of a biblically-prophetic week).

Should we see an escalation in the Middle East this Summer, to the point that Israel will agree to the biblical peace deal of Daniel 9:27, then we would expect Jesus to return in 2031 and the Great Tribulation to begin in early 2028.

People who claim to be COG, like Ronald Weinland and the late James Malm, have repeatedly been in error as to timing as they have looked to their own understanding instead of what the Bible teaches.

The Great Tribulation is coming, but it will not begin in 2024.

That being said, please understand that the COGs associated with the Sardis and Laodicean churches cannot possibly know when the Great Tribulation will begin unless they change.

CG7-Denver, for one example, believes that most events in the Book of Revelation have already been fulfilled, so they are not officially looking for it. And the Laodicean churches have added extra, non-biblical events/requirements to precede the Great Tribulation, that are not necessary and hence those who believe them will NOT believe that the Great Tribulation will start until it is too late (see also The Laodicean Church Era).

Here is a listing of some of the wrong prophetic views of real and claimed COG groups:

1. Many COG groups (ICG, CGI, UCG, COGaIC, CG7-D, CGG, CEM, etc.) do not officially teach and/or do not believe in the idea of Church eras (The Churches of Revelation 2 & 3), though they sometimes teach about the churches of Revelation. They tend to take more of a preterist (past) view of those churches, despite the fact that many statements made to them had to have future prophetic ramifications (e.g. Revelation 1:19; 3:3; 3:10). Because of that they do not teach certain prophetic aspects of this, most do not see their own problems and will have to go through the Great Tribulation.
2. Many COG groups do not believe that the Gospel of the Kingdom of God still needs to be preached to the world as a witness per Matthew 24:14 (e.g. GCW, PCG), do not really make that a high priority (e.g. COGWA, CGG), or do so in less than truly loving the truth (cf. Jeremiah 48:10; see Why Bob Thiel Left the Living Church of God), hence do not have the real Philadelphian work. As only the Philadelphians are promised to be protected from the hour of trial that will come on the whole world, they will not understand when Matthew 24:14 is fulfilled or when to flee per Matthew 24:15. Hence they do not have or lead the Philadelphian work. 3. At least three groups misunderstand the Gospel and COG doctrines so much (PCG, CGPfK, and RCG come to immediate mind) that I question if their top leaders are actually converted members of the COG. The leaders of those groups have had major predictions be proven false (CGPFK, PCG, and RCG).
4. Many, if not most, COG groups do not realize that the Great Tribulation begins with the King of the North invading the USA. UK, and/or their Anglo-Saxon descended allies (Daniel 11:39; see Who is the King of the North?; see also USA in Prophecy: The Strongest Fortresses).
5. Many COG groups misunderstand the identity of the King of the South (Daniel 11:40-43), and some have the wrong prophetic sequence regarding the King of the South (see PCG and LCG do not understand the end-time King of the South sequence–do you?). This is not the order that Daniel 11 teaches (see Who is the King of the North?). This view overlooks the fact that since the Great Tribulation is the time of Jacob’s trouble (Jeremiah 30:7), that it begins with the USA and its Anglo-Saxon allies like the United Kingdom getting invaded (cf. Daniel 11:39).  Some of the groups cling to this sequential error, because it was once held by the late Herbert W. Armstrong, who changed his view by 1979 (Armstrong, Herbert W. The Time We Are In, Now. Pastor General’s Report-Vol 1, No. 15, November 20, 1979).  Since the King of the North will eliminate those of the strongest fortresses (the USA, Canada, etc.) in Daniel 11:39, prior to invading the King of the South in Daniel 11:40, those who hold to this view will not know when the Great Tribulation will begin until after it has started.
6. Some (CEG, GCG-UK) teach that there is no biblically-required King of the South, while at least one group is unsure (CGF-NW)–but this is an error (see also Is the Future King of the South Rising Up?). This error contributes to other prophetic errors that those groups have.
7. Some have insisted that the final King of the South will be from the nation of Ethiopia. This is partially based upon a mistranslation in the KJV version of the Bible as well as a position that the late Herbert Armstrong once held. However, he changed his position in the 1960s and 1970s to an Arabic-Muslim confederation. Those who insist that the final King of the South must be Ethiopia will not possibly realize that the Great Tribulation will begin until it is too late (RCG once held that position, but later changed it; in 2018 LCG has pushed involvement, but not specifically kingship for Ethiopia).
8. Several COG groups (like CGG, RCG, PCG, COGWA) clearly misunderstand Daniel 9:27, the second half of which ties in with Daniel 11:31 and Jesus’ words in Matthew 24:15. Those who misunderstand it will not have a proper pre-warning of what is happening nor likely know when the Great Tribulation will begin (see also The ‘Peace Deal’ of Daniel 9:27).
9. Various COG groups (UCG, COGWA, COGaIC, RCG, and CGOM, come to immediate mind, but they are not the only ones) have so many areas of undefined prophecy that they will not know what certain events will mean. And groups who define matters wrongly will have problems that way as well (PCG and LCG come to immediate mind, but so do nearly all other COG claimed groups).
10. A couple of groups, such as  Church of God-Preparing for the Kingdom of God and Triumph Prophetic Ministries, have been repeatedly proven wrong about their dates for the start of the Great Tribulation and (like RCG) the return of Jesus Christ. Those who rely on the leaders of those groups really do not understand biblical prophecy.
11. Certain groups teach improper interpretations of the 1335, 1290, and 1260 days of Daniel 12 (CGPFK is one) or have other problems with that (most other COG groups) that they will not understand when the Great Tribulation will start. Herbert Armstrong changed his view on this by 1979 and many never understood the change.
12. Most COG groups fail to understand Habakkuk 2:2-8 and hence are not properly getting the warning out to the USA and UK (see Anglo – America in Prophecy & the Lost Tribes of Israel). PCG totally misses it, and LCG, while it once would teach it, has backed off because of what appears to be internal politics. The rising ‘time bomb’ of USA debt is something that needs to be pointed out and Habakkuk 2:2-8 points out the biblical threat that this poses. It should be proclaimed and we in CCOG are doing it. Many do not realize that Habakkuk 2:2-8 is related to fleeing and the start of the Great Tribulation, that the time will come when those Philadelphians who understand it in its proper timeframe will flee (see also There is a Place of Safety for the Philadelphians. Why it May Be Petra), and is one of the reasons for the attack against the indebted descendants of the tribes of Joseph.
13. At least one group (LCG) is no longer certain that France or certain other Israelitish nations will support the Beast power (see Must the Ten Kings of Revelation 17:12 Rule over Ten Currently Existing Nations?). This differs from the position specifically taught by the late Dibar Apartian (see The ‘Lost Tribe’ of Reuben: France in Prophecy?) as well as what the Bible teaches (see Must the Ten Kings of Revelation 17:12 Rule over Ten Currently Existing Nations?). Those who misunderstand this are likely to not possibly realize when the final Beast power has formed.
14. Many COG groups have various ‘Elijah heresies’ (most CGI-derived groups as well as RCG come to mind). Because of this, they will not be able to recognize the final Elijah.
15. Some think that either there is no Elijah to come (ICG, CGI) or that it is the church and perhaps not an individual (cf. LCG), which goes against Jesus’ teachings on the subject in Mark 9:12-13 (for more details, see The Elijah Heresies).
16. Some independents and some groups (PCG comes to mind) insist that the late Herbert W. Armstrong was the final ‘Elijah to come’ despite the fact that he has been dead since 1986, and that death disqualifies him according to his writing about that (Mystery of the Ages. 1985, p. 349; see also The Elijah Heresies).
17. Leaders of at least two groups (CGPFK and RCG), who once insisted publicly that Herbert Armstrong must be the final Elijah, now falsely claim that they hold that role.
18. At least one group has confused the final Elijah with the return of Jesus (LCG comes to mind).
19. Many groups do not understand the differing persecutions (and other matters) to come in Daniel 7:25, 11:30-39, Matthew 24:9-22, and Revelation 12:14-17, hence when the prophesied wave of persecution initially hits the Philadelphians primarily (and not them), they will not see this persecution as evidence that the Great Tribulation is about to begin. The old Radio Church of God specifically applied the persecuting scriptures of Daniel 11:32-35 to the end time Philadelphian church (see also Persecutions by Church and State).
20. Most groups that came out of groups once led by the late Garner Ted Armstrong (ICG, CGI, CEM, etc.) do not seem to teach that there is a physical place of safety (despite what Revelation 12:14-16 teaches), hence they will not be inclined to flee towards one just prior to the start of the Great Tribulation (see also There is a Place of Safety for the Philadelphians. Why it May Be Petra).
21. One CG7 group (CG7-S) has the place of safety as the ‘sea of glass’ and before the Bible says Christians will be there.
22. Most ‘independents’ do not believe that they need to ‘gather together’ prior to the time to flee despite what Zephaniah 2:1-3 teaches, hence it is not likely they will be inclined to flee together when a group they are not part of does just prior to the start of the Great Tribulation (cf. Revelation 12:14-17; see also There is a Place of Safety for the Philadelphians. Why it May Be Petra).
23. At least one group (PCG) misunderstands the final Prince of Rosh. Those who insist on a pre-return of Jesus Christ for the fulfillment of Ezekiel 38 will be disappointed as that is in scriptural error (see also Ezekiel 38: For Russia & Iran in Our Day?).
24. At least one COG group (CG7-D) basically teaches that most of the events of Revelation have already taken place and no one needs to be concerned about coming persecution as none supposedly is coming (see also The Dangerous Rise of Preterists). Jesus warned those of Sardis to be careful about losing the doctrinal understandings they had (Revelation 3:1-6), and this loss of prophetic knowledge proves that those in Sardis will not know when the Great Tribulation will begin.
25. At least one COG group (LCG) erroneously believes that the abomination of desolation of Daniel 11:31 occurs after the King of the North invades the King of the South (Daniel 11:40-43; see PCG and LCG do not understand the end-time King of the South sequence–do you?). Since this will not happen that way, those who hold to that position will not understand when the Great Tribulation will begin.
26. At least one group (RCG) totally misunderstands various prophecies in Haggai and Zechariah and have expected a type of COG reunification that is not prophesied. Those who rely on this and other misinterpretations will not know when the Great Tribulation will begin.
27. At least one group (LCG) erroneously teaches that the ‘Falling Away’ warned about in 2 Thessalonians 2 has mainly to do with the world and Protestants and not the Church of God (see The Falling Away: The Bible and WCG Teachings). This improper emphasis seems to be leading to a falling away of certain prophetic understandings for those who hold to it. That said, LCG 11+ years later later distanced itself from some of its changes in this matter (see Gerald Weston pushes LCG’s position on the ‘Falling Away’ closer to the biblical, COGwriter, position).
28. Some groups teach (UCG, COGWA, LCG, CEG) that the man of sin who sits in the temple of God (2 Thessalonians 2:3-4) is the Antichrist/false prophet, not the Beast of the Sea. Yet, it is this Beast of the Sea, the final King of the North (Daniel 11:35-36; see also Who is the Man of Sin?). So, when this happens, those who hold to the wrong position will not understand its prophetic ramifications. The Beast identity of the ‘son of perdition’ (cf. Revelation 17:7-11) is important to understand in the end times.
29. At least two groups teach that the ‘man of sin’ is (or could be) Joseph Tkach, Jr. (PCG, COG-FF). This absurd position also partially leads to many other misunderstandings.
30. At least one group (RCG) has improperly declared Satan will enter a COG leader to make him the man of sin (see Who is the Man of Sin?).
31. A few teach that a Jewish temple in Jerusalem must be rebuilt before Jesus returns (CBCG, RCG, COGFF, CEG, and TPM teach this, as do some in LCG). While this is remotely possible it is not required (the “temple of God” in the New Testament has to do with a Christian, not a modern Jewish, location; see Why is a Jewish Temple in Jerusalem Not Required?). Since this will not happen as a few sometimes teach, those who hold to that position will not understand when the Great Tribulation will begin.
32. At least two groups (PCG and LCG) teach that the Beast power will consist of 10 or 11 current nations in the European Union (see Must the Ten Kings of Revelation 17:12 Rule over Ten Currently Existing Nations?). The European Union has 27 nation members with several others hoping to join it. And while it may lose nations, the reality is that if the Beast power rises up when there are more than 11 nations in it, those who hold to that position will not understand when the Great Tribulation will begin. Under Herbert Armstrong, the old WCG taught in at least a dozen documents (Plain Truth, Good News, Tomorrow’s World, booklets, Co-worker letter, Bible Correspondence Course) that this passage referred to 10 nations or GROUPS OF NATIONS. Presuming it will be another number of nations, those who insist on 10 or 11 will not realize when the Great Tribulation will begin.
33. Some groups (CBCG and CGG) teach that the ten kings are to be in charge of ten regions around the world as opposed to being a primarily European power (though CBCG acknowledges that 10 European regions are possible). Overlooking what will happen in Europe could mean that such a group would not understand when the Great Tribulation would begin (see also Must the Ten Kings of Revelation 17:12 Rule over Ten Currently Existing Nations?).
34. None of the Laodicean or Sardis COGs seem to teach that the “strongest fortresses” in Daniel 11:39 refers to the USA–but it does (see also USA in Prophecy: The Strongest Fortresses). Although the evangelists at LCG all agreed I was correct about this, when I checked LCG’s two major websites in the past, there was no place where LCG teaches this–this is an improper and dangerous error of omission for LCG–and for the other claimed COGs.
35. At least two groups seem to teach that the first verse in the Daniel 11 sequence relating to the beginning of the Great Tribulation is Daniel 11:40 (LCG does this in its Official Statement of Fundamental Beliefs, whereas PCG does it elsewhere). Instead, they should teach that it begins with Daniel 11:39 (see also USA in Prophecy: The Strongest Fortresses), which is shortly after Daniel 11:31, which is also consistent with the start of the time of Jacob’s trouble (Jeremiah 30:7; see also Who is the King of the North?). Those who hold to the Daniel 11:40 position will not understand when the Great Tribulation will begin.
36. The leader of at least one former group (GOI, James Malm–died Spring 2020) has claimed that the Great Tribulation could begin within a year for the last dozen or so years. Since he did not recognize why this was in error, any who still accept his logic (or similar guesses) will not truly know when the Great Tribulation will begin. Of course, if it someone guesses each year or the correct year, some may accidentally get it right, but will not know enough how to handle it.
37. One group (CGF, a PCG split) claimed that the Great Tribulation would begin in 2023–but that was too early (see also When Will the Great Tribulation Begin?).
38. At least one group has publicly claimed that God has no prophets today and will not have any until the two witnesses are empowered (LCG comes to mind). This downplays how God works (cf. Ephesians 2:20), what is expected for now (cf. Acts 2:17-18), and that the Bible teaches, “Surely the Lord God does nothing, Unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets” (Amos 3:7) (see also How To Determine If Someone is a True Prophet of God). Does anyone think God provided no possible warning related to the coronavirus which impacted the feeling of peace of the world more than almost anything since WWII? Yet, this author did in 2013 and 2014.
39. At least one group (CGG) teaches that the Beast power is not European. Since the Beast power will arise in Europe, those who do not understand this will not realize when the Great Tribulation is about to begin (see also Europa, the Beast, and the Book of Revelation).
40. At least one group (LCG) teaches that the European Union will collapse like the old Roman Empire. But the lessons of history and the Bible contradict that (details are in the article Must the Ten Kings of Revelation 17:12 Rule over Ten Currently Existing Nations?).
41. One group ( PCG) erroneously teaches that Vladimir Putin is the Prince of Rosh of Ezekiel 38 (details are in the article PCG: Teachings Unique to the Philadelphia Church of God).
42. One group (CGFF) taught that Hillary Clinton would be President of the United States by now; whereas one (PCG ) strongly asserted that Donald Trump would remain in office and Joe Biden would not assume office.
43. One group erroneously taught (PCG) that half of the Laodiceans would die before April 30, 2021 (see PCG: Teachings Unique to the Philadelphia Church of God).
44. At least two groups (CGG and CG7-S) assert that the three angels of Revelation 14 are (or may be) humans, not angels (see also
    Church of God on the Three Angels’ Messages and ‘Babylon‘).
45. Two groups (PCG and CGFF) have falsely asserted that the restrainer in 2 Thessalonians 2:6-7 was Herbert W. Armstrong. That is wrong (see also What is Restrained and Who is Restraining in 2 Thessalonians 2:7?).
46. At least two groups (BICOG and TPM) have taught that a US president is the King of the North or could be the Antichrist.
47. Many groups do not teach much about prophecy (I have received complaints that this is the case for UCG and COGWA, to name just two). How can Christians be “complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work” (2 Timothy 3:16-17) and live “by every word of God” (Matthew 4:4; Luke 4:4) if prophecy (which is between 1/5 to 1/3 or so of the word of God) is not taught? Well, you cannot properly do so. This is very lukewarm (cf. Revelation 3:14-19).
48. Although one group was told in 2004 (LCG) that Daniel 11:30 involved the USA having a naval confrontation with Europe, it does not teach it. Nor do groups we are aware of other than the CCOG (see also Who is the King of the North?).
49. Many groups (PCG, UCG, COGWA, LCG, etc.) wrongly assert that Benito Mussolini was the sixth king of Revelation 17:10 that “is,” but that was too long ago (see also The European Union and the Seven Kings of Revelation 17).
50. Nearly all COG groups and independents do not accept that God has been fulfilling prophecies of Acts 2:17-18 (see also Does the CCOG have the confirmed signs of Acts 2:17-18?). Laodiceans do not accept God’s standards, but prefer their own interpretations on how God works.
51. Laodicean groups often say the end is near, but do not have a history of explaining when each of the first three seals of Revelation 6 may have been opened, or at least an ante-type of those has been happening. CCOG, however, has (see ‘Authoritarianism Emerges in Response to Threats of Pandemics and Famine’ like after the 4th Horseman of the Apocalypse).
52. One group has published (LCG), without retraction, that Russia is/may be one of the two legs of Nebuchadnezzar’s vision. That is wrong.
53. One group has published (LCG) that Ukraine may be the leading nuclear force against Europe. Ukraine, however, has no nuclear weapons, so this makes no sense.
54. Most groups have no teaching about Iran and Isaiah 22:6-9 or teach wrongly about it, hence this is another area that are lacking knowledge in (see also: Iran & Syria & Israel: PCG, WCG, CGG, UCG, CEG, COGaIC, LCG, RCG, ICG, CGI, and CCOG).
55. Most groups do not teach that Gaza will end up with territory that Israel now dominates–but that will happen (see also Gaza and the Palestinians in Bible Prophecy).

Sadly, various ones will come up with their preferred rationale as why not to agree with the position of the Continuing Church of God (CCOG) on these matters.

Yet, it should be noted that leaders in the Living Church of God and/or the United Church of God have confirmed to me personally that I was biblically correct on basically all the above points, despite the fact that their respective churches hold to several of the errors pointed out above. Those who rely too much on a compromised ministry (Ezekiel 34:7-10) to teach them prophecy that is not truly in accordance with scripture need to realize that according to Jesus’ words in Revelation 2 & 3 and Luke 21, only relatively few Christians will be protected from the hour of trial that will come upon the whole world (watch also Physical Protection During the Great Tribulation).

The Great Tribulation will, of course, come some day per Jesus’ statement in Matthew 24:21. And those that will listen and truly understand what Jesus taught in Matthew 24 and what He referred to in the Book of Daniel, can understand.

Yet, according to Jesus’ words to the churches in Revelation 2 & 3, relatively few Christians will (the remnant of the Philadelphia Church Era only).

Will you truly listen and truly understand?

Last month a white bison, commonly called a white buffalo was born in the United States.

I recall being asked about one when I did a radio interview over the telephone for a station in the Virgin Islands about 15 years ago.

A version speaks of two scouts searching for food and buffalo in the Black Hills of South Dakota.

The mysterious woman appeared and offered their tribe a bundle of sacred gifts, including a pipe carved from red rock, and instructed the people on how to live and pray.

She transformed several times before taking the form a white buffalo calf with a black nose, black eyes and black hooves. As she departed, a great number of buffalo returned to feed the people.

Dozens of other tribes have white buffalo stories, interpreting its arrival as both a blessing and a warning.

Chief Arvol Looking Horse, a spiritual leader of the Lakota Tribe, is known as the Keeper of the Sacred Bundle — the bundle and pipe left by the spirit. He likens the white calf’s return to the second coming of Christ.

Looking Horse, 70, said that before she departed, the woman told the people that she would return as a white buffalo calf “when everything is sickly and not good, and when people are with a not good mind”.

“This is spirit. It means spirit is happening,” he added.

On 26 June, more than 500 supporters formally celebrated the white calf at an event in West Yellowstone, just outside the park. Nearly a dozen tribes were represented.

The white buffalo woman is considered the central prophet in the theology of many tribes including the Sioux, Cherokee, Comanche and Navajo.

Her story is often likened to that of Jesus in Christianity.

No, a white buffalo should NOT be likened to Jesus. Jesus warned about “false christs” and “great signs and wonders” which would “deceive” many (Matthew 24:24).

No, walking in the way of the so-called “Seven Sacred Rites” is not the way for God’s people to follow. Nor are there any sacred pipes.

The legend of the White Buffalo Calf Woman remains ever-promising in this age of spiritual enlightenment and conscious awareness. Many of us are looking for signs of peace in today’s world of confusion and war.

Though harsh as the world we live in may be, throughout recorded history, there have been spiritual leaders teaching peace, hope, and balance (synergy) amongst all life. No, the arrival of a white buffalo does not mean peace, abundance, and plenty as some legends claim.

The Apostle Paul warned:

3 For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape. (1 Thessalonians 5:3)

While the buffalo calf is simply an animal and those who believe it is a sign of peace and abundance have fallen for a lying wonder. Nearly all the world will do so soon according to something else that the Apostle Paul warned about:

9 The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, 10 and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, 12 that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness. (2 Thessalonians 2:12).

Although it is interesting that there is a white buffalo that has been born, it is not a sign of peace and prosperity.

That said, when Jesus returns, He will usher in a time of peace and abundance, but that is NOT related to the birth of a bison calf.

Having people looking at anything but Jesus to usher in utopia is part of Satan’s plan.

Final Spark, a technology firm based in Switzerland, reportedly “has successfully launched Neuroplatform, the world’s first bioprocessing platform where human brain organoids (lab-grown miniaturized versions of organs) perform computational tasks instead of silicon chips.” Basically, they make a type of small “human” brain out of stem wells and use electrical impulses to have it perform various computational tasks. Reportedly, this uses a million times less energy than silicon chips. Could love of money be a factor here? Is this a type of cyborg abomination? What is a cyborg? Does any of this bring to mind the fictional alien species called ‘The Borg’ in ‘Star Trek: The Next Generation’? ‘Frontiers in Artificial Intelligence’ considers this an important breakthrough for scientists to learn from and build upon. Michael Snyder says that these organoids are enslaved and that “these miniature human brains are tortured until they learn to obey” and that “these ‘organoids’ are literally worked to death.” What about human-monkey and human-pig genetics? Essentially, the above is pointing to the Anglo-American world order since around 1800.

But it is also pointing to changes in Europe.

Well, it has long been my speculation that when the European Beast power rises up, under the guise of a NATO exercise, he will attack and ultimately conquer the United States, UK, and Canada. The G7 will cease to exist as it has been.

The RT article, correctly, concludes that the United States and Europe can be defeated:

An important question for the future is how Western countries will integrate into the new international order. The Bible shows that both the USA and Europe will be defeated with the USA being defeated by the European Beast power (Daniel 11:39) and three plus years later by a power to the north and east of Europe (Daniel 11:44-45)–which will be a Eurasian power led by Russia.

As far as the new world order goes it will truly be in place, once the USA along with its British-descended allies, are defeated.

Europe does want a new world order–and one that it leads.

For a new world order, there must be changes.

The Bible shows that Europe will change and reorganize:

12 “The ten horns which you saw are ten kings who have received no kingdom as yet, but they receive authority for one hour as kings with the beast. 13 These are of one mind, and they will give their power and authority to the beast.  (Revelation 17:12-13)

These ten kings have no kingdom, but are to attain one.  Thus, this is a type of reorganization in verse 12.

Notice that Revelation 17:12-13 does NOT say that ten existing nations will give their power to the dictatorial Beast, but that ten kings who had not had a kingdom will get power and transfer it. The current republics in Europe will be no more.

Interestingly, notice something from a Roman Catholic source looking forward to such a leader and reorganization:

Rudolph Gekner (died 1675). “A great prince of the North with a most powerful army will traverse all Europe, uproot all republics, and exterminate all rebels. His sword moved by Divine power will most valiantly defend the Church of Jesus Christ. He will combat on behalf of the true orthodox faith, and shall subdue to his dominion the Mahometan Empire. A new pastor of the universal church will come from the shore (of Dalmatia) through a celestial prodigy, and in simplicity of heart adorned with the doctrines of Jesus Christ. Peace will come to the world.” (Cited in Connor, Edward. Prophecy for Today. Imprimatur + A.J. Willinger, Bishop of Monterey-Fresno; Reprint: Tan Books and Publishers, Rockford (IL), 1984, p.36).

The above leader sounds a lot like a European leader that the Bible says will arise. He will uproot republics, meaning that they will be replaced with a totalitarian leader. This is the new world order.

The Bible also points to that leader eliminating what can be considered the coming Mahometan Empire under the control of one called the King of the South (Daniel 11:40-43).

As far as European nations go, sometimes they were independent and at other times parts of alliances like the old ‘Holy Roman Empire’ and the Axis powers of World War II. …

Time of the Gentiles

The Bible teaches that the Gentiles will arise (cf. Ezekiel 7:24, 30:3; Luke 21:24; Revelation 11:2).

A vicious Gentile dominated ‘new world order’ will replace the Anglo-American one relatively soon.

Some believe that the times of the Gentiles are a period of blessing on the nations. This will be true in an economic sense for a time, because the Bible shows that most of the non-Anglo-American nations around the world will prosper for a time (Revelation 18:3c). …

Once the U.S.A. and the other ‘Five Eyes’ are out of the way, the King of the North will likely declare that a new world order of peace has been ushered in. That is consistent with Jeremiah 6:14–15a, which is a warning about peace statements from one associated with abomination.

The World Worships the Beast

The Book of Revelation teaches:

⁸ All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. (Revelation 13:8)

The “him” above is the Babylonian European Beast.

The “prince of the power of the air” (Ephesians 2:2) has worked to set the stage for this Beast to have secular and religious supporters of various types.

Secular organizations such as the World Economic Forum (WEF),[i] United Nations,[ii] and the Bilderberg Group[iii] all support a type of a somewhat ecumenical-interfaith-merged religion, allowing for certain differences, yet possibly writing their own holy book with artificial intelligence! [iv] They all promote what could be called a ‘globalist’ agenda, consistent with prophecies (e.g. Revelation 17:1-5).

The European Union does as well, however, its view is that Europe should lead a coming “new world order.”[v]

Worldcoin is a biometric cryptocurrency that has the backing of various ones in Big Tech and in Artificial Intelligence.

So, unlike the privacy aspect that cryptocurrencies like BitCoin reportedly have, Worldcoin is intended to eliminate real privacy.

The Bible warns of a murderous, deceiving power that will force a type of loyalty identification in order to buy or sell:

14 And he deceives those who dwell on the earth by those signs which he was granted to do in the sight of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who was wounded by the sword and lived. 15 He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. 16 He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, 17 and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

18 Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666.  (Revelation 13:14-18)

The above type of controls could not occur before we had technology that exists today. As long-time readers of this COGwriter Church of God News page are aware, I have long warned that the coming 666 European Beast power would use some form of electronic currency to control buying and selling as well as some type of Artificial Intelligence to monitor it.

Worldcoin has both.

And while it is not likely to be the final currency of the coming Beast power, it is developing biometric, AI, and other technologies that the 666 power is likely to adopt or at least learn from.

Already, we have groups like the World Economic Forum (WEF) calling for all financial transactions to be digital. It, the UN, and others have pushed for Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs) as well as something called the Unified Ledger.

Anyway, let me add that parts of the Unified Ledger are already in place as the European Union requires more and more identification, etc. for financial accounts as does the USA and most of the rest of the world.

Worldcoin looks also to be in that category.

Whether called a Unified Ledger, CBDCs, electronic payments, or digital currencies, the recording of what people own and spend by governments is more and more taking place.

It is just that the Unified Ledger, Worldcoin, and CBDCs are more blatant.

According to the Bible, Europe will end up with the ability to control and monitor buying and selling (Revelation 13:16-18).

For a time it will “master the future” under a totalitarian dictator.

Earth’s core has slowed so much it’s moving backward, scientists confirm. Here’s what it could mean

Deep inside Earth is a solid metal ball that rotates independently of our spinning planet, like a top whirling around inside a bigger top, shrouded in mystery.

This inner core has intrigued researchers since its discovery by Danish seismologist Inge Lehmann in 1936, and how it moves — its rotation speed and direction — has been at the center of a decades-long debate. A growing body of evidence suggests the core’s spin has changed dramatically in recent years, but scientists have remained divided over what exactly is happening — and what it means. …

One promising model proposed in 2023 described an inner core that in the past had spun faster than Earth itself, but was now spinning slower. For a while, the scientists reported, the core’s rotation matched Earth’s spin. Then it slowed even more, until the core was moving backward relative to the fluid layers around it.

At the time, some experts cautioned that more data was needed to bolster this conclusion, and now another team of scientists has delivered compelling new evidence for this hypothesis about the inner core’s rotation rate. Research published June 12 in the journal Nature not only confirms the core slowdown, it supports the 2023 proposal that this core deceleration is part of a decades-long pattern of slowing down and speeding up. …

Magnetic attraction

Buried about 3,220 miles (5,180 kilometers) deep inside Earth, the solid metal inner core is surrounded by a liquid metal outer core. The inner core is made mostly of iron and nickel, and it is estimated to be as hot as the surface of the sun — about 9,800 degrees Fahrenheit (5,400 degrees Celsius).

Earth’s magnetic field yanks at this solid ball of hot metal, making it spin. At the same time, the gravity and flow of the fluid outer core and mantle drag at the core. Over many decades, the push and pull of these forces cause variations in the core’s rotational speed, Vidale said.

The sloshing of metal-rich fluid in the outer core generates electrical currents that power Earth’s magnetic field, which protects our planet from deadly solar radiation. …

Scientists study the inner core to learn how Earth’s deep interior formed and how activity connects across all the planet’s subsurface layers. The mysterious region where the liquid outer core envelops the solid inner core is especially interesting, Vidale added. As a place where liquid and solid meet, this boundary is “filled with potential for activity,” as are the core-mantle boundary and the boundary between mantle and crust.

When I first saw the headline for the above CNN article, the following came to mind:

26 You shall therefore keep My statutes and My judgments, and shall not commit any of these abominations, either any of your own nation or any stranger who dwells among you 27 (for all these abominations the men of the land have done, who were before you, and thus the land is defiled), 28 lest the land vomit you out also when you defile it, (Leviticus 18:26-28)

So, sin causes the land to want to vomit off people. Worldwide sin could be a factor in the deep changes in the inner core.

A new study confirms that Earth’s inner core has been rotating more slowly than usual since 2010. This mysterious “backtracking” could also end up slightly altering the planet’s overall rotation, lengthening our days.

The heart of our planet has been spinning unusually slowly for the past 14 years, new research confirms. And if this mysterious trend continues, it could potentially lengthen Earth’s days — though the effects would likely be imperceptible to us.

Earth’s inner core is a roughly moon-size chunk of solid iron and nickel that lies more than 3,000 miles (4,800 kilometers) below our feet. It is surrounded by the outer core — a superhot layer of molten metals similar to those in the inner core — which is surrounded by a more solid sea of molten rock, known as the mantle, and the crust. Although the entire planet rotates, the inner core can spin at a slightly different speed as the mantle and crust due to the viscosity of the outer core. …

A reader from Austria sent me a link to the following last August related to the core:

One possible reason why this is happening is that Jesus warned of “troubles” occurring during “the beginning of sorrows” (Mark 13:8). When you also read of various calamities in the Book of Revelation, it is possible that a change in the earth’s rotation may cause, or at least contribute to, some of them–such as high heat (Revelation 16:8-9), what looks to be the biggest earthquake of all time (Revelation 16:18-20), etc.

The solution would be repentance and striving to follow the true God, but humans think that they can stop what will happen in other ways. They are in error.

Planet Earth is alive. Deep beneath its skin, its life blood — rivers of molten iron — pulse around its core. And this mobile iron is what generates the magnetic field that causes auroras — and keeps us alive.

But, according to the science journal Nature, something strange is going on deep down below.

It’s causing the magnetic North Pole to ‘skitter’ away from Canada, towards Siberia.

“The magnetic pole is moving so quickly that it has forced the world’s geomagnetism experts into a rare move,” Nature reports.

On January 30 (delayed due to the US Government shutdown), the World Magnetic Model — which governs modern navigation systems — is due to undergo an urgent update.

This model is a vital component of systems ranging from geopositioning systems used to navigate ships through to smartphone trackers and maps.

The current model was expected to be valid until 2020. But the magnetic pole began to shift so quickly, it was realised in 2018 that the model had to be fixed — now.

Jesus warned:

8 … And there will be earthquakes in various places, and there will be famines and troubles. These are the beginnings of sorrows.  (Mark 13:8)

Changes is the inner core would seem to be a factor in the production of earthquakes and troubles.

As far as earthquakes go, the really  big earthquake in biblical prophecy is the following one:

18 And there were noises and thunderings and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such a mighty and great earthquake as had not occurred since men were on the earth. 19 Now the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. And great Babylon was remembered before God, to give her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of His wrath. 20 Then every island fled away, and the mountains were not found. (Revelation 16:18-20)

Notice that the above earthquake is so big that the cities of the nations will fall. Mountains will be leveled and islands “fled away” (more on this can be found in the article Islands aeand Bible Prophecy). This seems to be the biggest earthquake that will ever hit the planet with humans on it. Despite the view of ‘preterists’ that this already happened (see The Dangerous Rise of Preterists), that is nonsense.

The earthquake of Revelation 16 will be bigger than what the usual “experts” have believed was possible. It will change the planet and humble parts of humanity.

It should be noted since that apparently biggest of all earthquakes seems to take place near the end of the Day of the Lord, it probably cannot happen prior to 2028 (for more on why as well as dates, please see the articles When Can the Great Tribulation Begin? and Does God Have a 6,000 Year Plan? Earthquakes can trigger volcanoes.

In the Book of Revelation, there is a prophecy that sounds like destruction from a volcano:

8 Then the second angel sounded: And something like a great mountain burning with fire was thrown into the sea, and a third of the sea became blood. 9 And a third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed. (Revelation 8:8-9)

Changes to the inner core may cause that.
