Received an email with a link that stated 2016  . . .  The Death of Social Security. The link brought me to a video by James Davidson.  It was very similar to one that I watched from him in the past, so I stopped watching after a while and decided to look for a written version of it. Instead, I basically found a summary related to it.

Here is some of what it had to say:

As you know, Social Security operates as a classic Ponzi scheme — new contributions are used to pay off earlier contributors.

The problem is twofold: Our government tapped into Social Security savings, and there are not enough new contributors to pay those who already funded the system.

And the problem is worse than any government agency wants to admit.

However, one famous economist, James Dale Davidson, boldly states…

“We could see the end of Social Security as soon as 2016, 

and there is nothing President Obama, Congress or 

any other government agency can do to stop it.”

Yes, Social Security as we know it could end in 2016.

Before you dismiss Davidson’s warning, know that he has a remarkable track record of calling nearly every major economic shift over the last three decades.

For example, Davidson predicted the stock market collapse of 1999 and 2007, along with the fall of the Soviet Union and Japan’s economic downfall, to name just a few.

And his predictions have been so accurate, he’s been invited to shake hands and counsel the likes of former presidents Ronald Reagan and Bill Clinton — and he’s had the good fortune to befriend and convene with George Bush Sr., Steve Forbes, Donald Trump, Margaret Thatcher, Sir Roger Douglas and even Boris Yeltsin.

So, how can Davidson be so sure that Social Security will end in 2016?

As Davidson explains in a newly released video, “Right now, there are five massive cracks in the American economy’s foundation that are converging for the first time in history. This is a landmark development that I am convinced will trigger the greatest depression we’ve ever seen. Yes, worse than the 1929 Great Depression.”

Davidson’s new video is causing a controversy, not just because of what he says, but because the evidence he provides is irrefutable (he uses over 20 unquestionable charts to prove his point).

“I know that everywhere you turn things look pretty good,” Davidson goes on to say, “The market is near all-time highs, the dollar is strong and real estate is booming again. But remember, the exact same scenario played out in 1999 and 2007. The economy is unraveling right now, and fast. Very fast.”

Davidson warns that a 50% stock market collapse is looming, that “real estate will plummet by 40%, savings accounts will lose 30% and unemployment will triple.” http://thesovereigninvestor.com/exclusives/2016-the-end-of-social-security/

I have done some research into James Davidson’s more recent predictions.  What the above fails to mention is that he claimed certain things about a collapse in 2015 that did not happen.

And no, I do not believe that 2016 can be the ‘death of Social Security.’ For non-USA readers, Social Security is a government mandated retirement program that has made many promises to so many, that unless the USA economy really revs up, it will not be in a position to fulfill its promised obligations.

That being said, I do not expect Social Security to die this year.

Nor do I believe that many of James Davidson’s dire predictions can happen this year.

But that does not mean that they will never happen or that the USA will be able to continue as it has been.

Never mind that successive presidents and Congresses have promised to protect the elderly. Never mind that policymakers have discouraged Americans from preparing for their own retirement. Never mind traditional notions of commitment, trust, and honor. Uncle Sam will leave everyone high and dry without even a glance backward.

We must confront the welfare state and the entitlement mentality that underlies it. To do that, we must transform Social Security.

The longer we wait, the more difficult it becomes to close the gap. …

Reforms are hardest to apply to those who have already retired: “Delaying action until the baby boom is in full retirement insures that the next generation will bear the burden of current inaction,” argue Andrew J. Rettenmaier and Thomas R. Saving of the Private Enterprise Research Center at Texas A&M University.

And that cost will be huge. David M. Walker observes that

Failure to take steps to address our large and structural long-range fiscal imbalance, which is driven in large part by projected increases in Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security spending, will ultimately have significant adverse consequences for our future economy and the quality of life of our children, grandchildren, and future generations of Americans. As a result, the federal government needs to engage in a fundamental review, reassessment, and reprioritization that will ultimately have to span all major spending programs and tax policies.

Perhaps economic reality will finally force Congress to act. For Social Security has become the reverse third rail of government finance: Don’t touch it, and America’s economy dies. There are serious financial issues looming for Social Security. The above came out in November 2009–the Obama Administration and Congress have not taken proper fiscal steps to save it.

In the USA presidential contest, I do not believe that Hillary Clinton has laid out a plan to possibly reverse this, nor do I have confidence that Donald Trump can either.  It is not that neither have any good ideas or that one may not be better for the economy at times than the other. It is just that I expect whoever wins to have to deal with problems they will not truly understand and make decisions that will not always work out well for the USA.

Based on statements both of them have made, I believe their minds are of a debased sort (cf. Romans 1:28) and that their decisions will not end well (cf. Romans 1:32).

Since Jesus and the Apostles kept the Sabbaths and the Holy Days, why do most who profess Christ not observe them? Many claim that Ignatius of Antioch had a writing that showed that the Sabbath was done away by the early second century. This misinformation is all over the internet. Actually, because the Living Church of God continued to knowingly publish and distribute incorrect information about this, I concluded it was not doing the work of God in truth (it also compounded it with another publication after I left).

As it turns out, the Catholics of Rome consider October 17th as the day to honor Ignatius of Antioch. And based upon intentional mistranslations of one of his writings (and many renowned Protestant scholars have participated in this), many falsely claim that he showed that the Sabbath was done away.

Yet, that is not true.

Without going in to the mistranslated portion of his writings (which I do in detail in the article Another Look at the Didache, Ignatius, and the Sabbath), let’s look at some of Ignatius’ other writings. Notice something that he wrote in his Letter to the Magnesians:

It is fitting, then, not only to be called Christians, but to be so in reality: as some indeed give one the title of bishop, but do all things without him. Now such persons seem to me to be not possessed of a good conscience, seeing they are not stedfastly gathered together according to the commandment.

The commandment that involves meeting together is the fourth commandment. It is the commandment that says to:

Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy (Exodus 20:8).

Part of the way the Sabbath day is kept holy is by meeting together for church services (referred to as “an holy convocation” in Leviticus 23:1-3). There is no direct statement anywhere in the Bible requiring a weekly convocation on Sunday. In his Letter to the Romans, Ignatius observed that true Christians kept the commandments:

I also salute in the name of Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father: to those who are united, both according to the flesh and spirit, to every one of His commandments…

But if any one preach the Jewish law unto you, listen not to him. For it is better to hearken to Christian doctrine from a man who has been circumcised, than to Judaism from one uncircumcised. But if either of such persons do not speak concerning Jesus Christ, they are in my judgment but as monuments and sepulchres of the dead, upon which are written only the names of men. Flee therefore the wicked devices and snares of the prince of this world, lest at any time being conquered by his artifices, ye grow weak in your love.

Notice that Ignatius is once again complaining about Judaic customs that are not from the Bible. How do we know that the practices that Ignatius is referring to are not from the Bible? Because Ignatius is clearly saying to avoid snares from “the prince of the world”. The prince Ignatius is referring to is Satan (see Ephesians 2:2), and since the Sabbath did not come from Satan, as it came from God (see Genesis 2:1-3), Ignatius would not refer to something that God made as wicked. Furthermore, notice that Ignatius mentioned about keeping “every one of His commandments”, thus this is not simply an admonition to love, but to keep all the commandments. In his Letter to the Smyrnaeans, Ignatius wrote about false Christians:

But I guard you beforehand from those beasts in the shape of men, whom you must not only not receive, but, if it be possible, not even meet with; only you must pray to God for them, if by any means they may be brought to repentance, which, however, will be very difficult. Yet Jesus Christ, who is our true life, has the power of [effecting] this. But if these things were done by our Lord only in appearance, then am I also only in appearance bound. And why have I also surrendered myself to death, to fire, to the sword, to the wild beasts? But, [in fact,] he who is near to the sword is near to God; he that is among the wild beasts is in company with God; provided only he be so in the name of Jesus Christ. I undergo all these things that I may suffer together with Him, He who became a perfect man inwardly strengthening me. Some ignorantly deny Him, or rather have been denied by Him, being the advocates of death rather than of the truth. These persons neither have the prophets persuaded, nor the law of Moses, nor the Gospel even to this day, nor the sufferings we have individually endured. For they think also the same thing regarding us.

Since he writes that some of the false Christians do not have “the law of Moses” it is reasonable to conclude that Ignatius believed that he did have the “law of Moses,” in regards to the ten commandments, including the Sabbath commandment. It may be of at least of passing interest to note that Ignatius referred to the church as the “church of God” four times in his writings (see Letter to the Philadelphians 0:0, 10:1; Letter to the Trallians 2:2; Letter to the Smyrnaeans 0:0).

Ignatius did not do away with the seventh-day Sabbath nor write that it had been somehow done away.

Globalist religious amalgamation

Noticed a couple of articles from secular-oriented sources defining what a ‘globalist’ is:

Who are the Globalists and what is a Globalist?

The Globalist agenda is real and the Globalists themselves are the greatest threat to human civilization. Every day, more and more people are affected in some way, shape or form because of the Globalists and the Globalist agenda.

In consideration of the entire Globalist plan, the Globalist ideology and other Globalist propaganda, I think it’s time to redefine what a Globalist is.

The most popular definition of what is a Globalist and who are the Globalists so far is,

“the Globalist movement is an alliance based on self-interests of the private international financiers and the royal, dynastic and hereditary land owning families of Britain, Europe and America which over the years have intermarried to create a self regenerating power structure that through lies and deception seeks to control everything and everyone”.

Although this definition of who and what is s Globalist is true, I think the definition doesn’t go far enough to explain why the Globalists intend to bring forth the New World Order, why the Globalists exist and where the Globalists intend the global community to be in 50, 100 and 200 years.

It’s also an appropriate time to evaluate the standard definition of who are the Globalists as the Globalists have now encroached in almost every country of the world.

Up until 30 years ago, the Globalists only had an interest and presence in western countries and a limited number of African and Asian countries.

A New Definition of Who Are The Globalists and What Is A Globalist

After much consideration and thought, I would like to propose to the activist, free thinking, and anti-Globalist movements that we define the Globalists as:

The Globalists are a conglomerate of individuals, interest groups and large corporations who actively seek to eliminate all countries to create a global border-less society so that they can centralize, reduce and standardize all economies, production and the processing of natural resources so that they can directly control, manipulate and influence the decisions we make to ensure they maintain their power, control, wealth and historical influence.

As The Rebel’s Lauren Southern explains, some of the people using it are nationalists, or patriots (they see globalism as a threat to the sovereignty of their nation… whichever nation that happens to be). Others argue that the term “globalism” is just a scary catch-all word invented by Trump supporters, or the alt right. A word that means nothing at best, and is a racist code at worst.

Basically, a globalist is one who believes that all should compromise their religions and accept what the state, a new world order state, wants all to accept.

Hillary Clinton, for one example is a globalist.  Notice something she said:

Clinton, speaking in Manhattan on Thursday at the sixth annual Women in The World Summit, declared that “deep-seated cultural codes, religious beliefs and structural biases” must be changed both in the U.S. and around the world in order to achieve social justice.

Clinton, after discussing the pressing social justice issues of domestic violence and women’s reproductive health, said:

Laws have to be backed up with resources and political will. And deep-seated cultural codes, religious beliefs and structural biases have to be changed.

As I have said and as I believe, the advancement of the full participation of women and girls in every aspect of their societies is the great unfinished business of the 21st century and not just for women but for everyone — and not just in far away countries but right here in the United States.

Barack Obama, Pope Francis (see Laudato Si: Pope’s Agenda or Kingdom of God?), and Ban Ki-Moon (see United Nations: Humankind’s Last Hope or New World Order?) are all globalists. Many in the leading political parties in the USA are globalists, as are many in the European Union.

Globalists want to redefine society based on the human reasoning of part of the elite ruling classes. They believe that more government controls and merging religious views are major keys to this.

Basically they do not believe that God has standards that people really need to adhere to and they believe that a more ‘enlightened’ humankind will bring forth some type of utopia to planet earth.

They do not really believe in the coming Kingdom of God as the source of peace and prosperity.

As far as Donald Trump goes, he is a nationalist. And while nationalists do not share all the same characteristics of globalists, they too tend to trust themselves and not truly believe that the solutions are in the laws of God and the coming Kingdom of God.

Will the globalists have success?

Yes, according to biblical prophecy.

The European ‘Beast of the Sea’ will rise up (Revelation 13:1), destroy the USA and its Anglo-Saxon descended allies (Daniel 11:39), and be worshiped by the world:

3 … And all the world marveled and followed the beast. 4 So they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?”

5 And he was given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies, and he was given authority to continue for forty-two months. 6 Then he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme His name, His tabernacle, and those who dwell in heaven. 7 It was granted to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them. 9 If anyone has an ear, let him hear. 10 He who leads into captivity shall go into captivity; he who kills with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.

11 Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon. 12 And he exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence, and causes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. 13 He performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men. 14 And he deceives those who dwell on the earth by those signs which he was granted to do in the sight of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who was wounded by the sword and lived. 15 He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. 16 He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, 17 and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

18 Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666. (Revelation 13:3-18)

After the USA is gone (Daniel 11:39), all the world will marvel and follow the globalist agenda. Now, it should be noted that the Bible also shows that those in the lands of the Middle East and North Africa will not do that for long as many there will unsuccessfully rebel per Daniel 11:40-43. And later, the Russians and the Asians will rebel successfully against it (cf. Daniel 11:44-45; Jeremiah 50:41-43).

The Bible thus does show that parts of the globalist agenda will be implemented. For a time many will think that humankind has solved its major issues (cf. The ‘Peace Deal’ of Daniel 9:27).

But it will bring ‘sudden destruction’ on many (cf. 1 Thessalonians 5:3), and ultimately be destroyed itself (cf. Daniel 2:44; Revelation 17:14).

When Jesus returns, the globalists will come together in a way that they had not quite done before, and fight against Him. But this will not succeed:

11 Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. 12 His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. 13 He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. 14 And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses. 15 Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. 16 And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written:

KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.

17 Then I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the birds that fly in the midst of heaven, “Come and gather together for the supper of the great God,  18 that you may eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of captains, the flesh of mighty men, the flesh of horses and of those who sit on them, and the flesh of all people, free and slave, both small and great.”

19 And I saw the beast, the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him who sat on the horse and against His army. 20 Then the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. These two were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone. 21 And the rest were killed with the sword which proceeded from the mouth of Him who sat on the horse. And all the birds were filled with their flesh. (Revelation 19:11-21)

Jesus will bring about the end of the humanist globalist agenda and implement true utopia–the millennial Kingdom of God.

The millennial Kingdom of God is something that the Feast of Tabernacles, which began today, helps picture. It pictures the end of Satan’s inspired ‘new world order’ and the related globalist agenda.

The Bible shows that the followers of Jesus, not the followers of globalism, will succeed (see also Mark of the Beast).

What should you do if you wish to obey God?

Those who can will travel (Deuteronomy 14:23-26) go to a Feast site. If you are at, near, or can get to one of the Feast of Tabernacles’ Sites for 2016 you should attend church services there every day.

But if you are not able to physically attend those locations, what should you do?

Those who cannot may wish to consider the possibility to not sleep in their houses during the time of the Feast. If they are physically and financially able, they may wish to try to sleep in some type of temporary dwelling like a hotel, motel, camper, or a tent (including perhaps one in one’s own home). In ancient Israel, those who did not travel (as well as native Israelites that did) made ‘booths’ of branches on top of their roofs (Leviticus 23:40) and slept in them for the seven days of the Feast (Leviticus 23:42), and some slept in them for the entire eight days (though the Bible only mentions seven days). Staying in ‘temporary dwellings,’ of whatever sort, helps convey that this age is temporal and a new millennial age is coming.

The first day of the Feast of Tabernacles is kept like a Sabbath, as it is also a day of rest and a holy convocation as is the eighth day, also known as the Last Great Day (John 7:37). Christians should pray and attend services and/or watch messages on each of the eight days. An offering is normally also taken up on the first and eighth day (cf. Deuteronomy 16:16). But the other days are NOT kept like the Sabbath, meaning that one can engage in regular physical work on those days.

The Bible teaches that the children of Israel were to have offerings for every day of the Feast (Leviticus 23:36. And while we in the Continuing Church of God do take up offerings on the First Day of the Feast and the Last Great Day, we do not take up financial offerings on the other days. But one way for you to fulfill what God expects is for you to attend or at least watch church services each day and give offerings.

Notice something that the Apostle Paul wrote:

1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. (Romans 12:1-2)

Viewing services each day is a way for you to offer yourself as a living sacrifice which is your reasonable service. For those unfamiliar with the Feast of Tabernacles consider the following scriptures related to what happens after Jesus returns:

16 And it shall come to pass that everyone who is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the Feast of Tabernacles. 17 And it shall be that whichever of the families of the earth do not come up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, on them there will be no rain. 18 If the family of Egypt will not come up and enter in, they shall have no rain; they shall receive the plague with which the Lord strikes the nations who do not come up to keep the Feast of Tabernacles. 19 This shall be the punishment of Egypt and the punishment of all the nations that do not come up to keep the Feast of Tabernacles. (Zechariah 14:16-19)

2 Many nations shall come and say,
“Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord,
To the house of the God of Jacob;
He will teach us His ways,
And we shall walk in His paths.”
For out of Zion the law shall go forth,
And the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.
3 He shall judge between many peoples,
And rebuke strong nations afar off;
They shall beat their swords into plowshares,
And their spears into pruning hooks;
Nation shall not lift up sword against nation,
Neither shall they learn war anymore.

4 But everyone shall sit under his vine and under his fig tree,
And no one shall make them afraid;
For the mouth of the Lord of hosts has spoken.

So, Gentiles will clearly keep the Feast of Tabernacles.

Consider also that after his conversion, the Apostle Paul continued to keep Feast of Tabernacles or he would not be able to say to Jewish leaders:

17 Men and brethren, though I have done nothing against our people or the customs of our fathers (Acts 28:17)

Additionally, consider that the Apostle Paul also said:

1 I must by all means keep this coming feast in Jerusalem (Acts 18:21)

1 Imitate me, just as I also imitate Christ. (1 Corinthians 11:1)

Jesus, like the Apostle Paul, kept the Feast of Tabernacles (John 7:2-38).

Control of the news media is an instrumental, key feature to any totalitarian government. In contrast, the primary reason this experiment known as the United States has lasted so long under relatively free conditions is due to the preservation of free speech (and press) via the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. …

Nowhere in there do I see an exception for “conspiracy theories,” but apparently Constitutional scholar Barack Obama has an alternative interpretation.

Pittsburgh (AFP) – President Barack Obama on Thursday decried America’s “wild, wild west” media environment for allowing conspiracy theorists a broad platform and destroying a common basis for debate.

 

Recalling past days when three television channels delivered fact-based news that most people trusted, Obama said democracy require citizens to be able to sift through lies and distortions.

 

“We are going to have to rebuild within this wild-wild-west-of-information flow some sort of curating function that people agree to,” Obama said at an innovation conference in Pittsburgh.

 

“There has to be, I think, some sort of way in which we can sort through information that passes some basic truthiness tests and those that we have to discard, because they just don’t have any basis in anything that’s actually happening in the world,” Obama added.

 

“That is hard to do, but I think it’s going to be necessary, it’s going to be possible,” he added.

 

“The answer is obviously not censorship, but it’s creating places where people can say ‘this is reliable’ and I’m still able to argue safely about facts and what we should do about it.”

The above may sound good on a superficial level to people with zero critical thinking skills, but even the most elementary analysis exposes it as the obvious and dangerous attack on free speech that it is. Let’s zero in on a few things he said in closer detail.

He describes the media environment as the “wild, wild west.” Kind of sounds like an environment in which people are free to say, publish or record whatever they want, and let the chips fall where they may. Seems consistent with the first amendment to me.

He notes that there needs to be “some sort of way in which we can sort through information that passes some basic truthiness tests and those that we have to discard.” This sounds good on the surface because, after all, who doesn’t want truth? The problem lies in the fact that governments can and do lie all the time about stuff of monumental significance. Let’s take the Iraq war for example. As I discussed in August’s post, Questioning Hillary’s Health is Not Conspiracy Theory:

Of course, the New York Times rendering judgment on those pushing conspiracy theories would be downright hilarious if it weren’t so sad. For example, the paper itself exhibited no such restraint when it came to peddling U.S. government conspiracies about Iraq in the run up to one of the most inhumane, unnecessary and destructive foreign policy blunders in American history. In fact, the paper was ultimately so embarrassed by its own behavior, it issued a statement in 2004 titled, FROM THE EDITORS; The Times and Iraq. 

Meanwhile, there were millions of people in the “wild west” of opinion making yelling and screaming that the government was misleading the public about Iraq in order to go to war. So who got it right, the New York Times, or the wild, wild west?

If Obama had his way, those people who asserted that the public was being mislead into the Iraq war would have been dismissed as “conspiracy theorists” not worth paying attention to since they refused to agree with government “facts.” Obama’s position is such an obvious authoritarian slippery slope, one has to ask why he would dare go so far.

Actually, what is happening now is that we are getting closer to the time of the coming ‘famine’ of the word of God.  Various ones in the government of the USA are sadly helping set the stage for this.

In the past few years, the first amendment of the USA has gotten trashed by various governments and courts in the USA. That amendment states:

• First amendment — Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

While the USA is supposed to have freedom of speech and freedom of religion, that is becoming less and less the case.

Notice something that Jesus said:

4 … the night is coming when no one can work. (John 9:4, NKJV)

4… the night cometh, when no man can work (John 9:4 KJV)

In a October 23, 1980 co-worker letter, the late Herbert W. Armstrong wrote:

The Bible warns us the time is just ahead when NO MAN CAN WORK—in the Lord’s Work. We must sacrifice now as never before for this Work that we may FINISH the Work that Christ has called us to do. Pray as never before, for this Work.

We are getting closer to that time.

Notice also something that the Prophet Amos was inspired to record:

11 “Behold, the days are coming,” says the Lord God,
“That I will send a famine on the land,
Not a famine of bread,
Nor a thirst for water,
But of hearing the words of the Lord.
12 They shall wander from sea to sea,
And from north to east;
They shall run to and fro, seeking the word of the Lord,
But shall not find it. (Amos 8:11-12)

Governmental persecution will eventually stop the ‘short work’ (Romans 9:28) and lead to that ‘famine of the word’ (see also Preparing for the ‘Short Work’ and The Famine of the Word).

In the future, when we teach the identity and plans of the final King of the North (Daniel 11:29-44), many will consider that to be a ‘conspiracy theory.’ And now, the USA is suggesting that freedom of speech does not include what it may consider to be conspiracy theories.

The USA is going in the wrong direction. National repentance is the only way to prevent its destruction, and that does not look likely.

Personal repentance, however, is still possible. If you are a North American, your personal future can still be much brighter than that of your country. The USA, along with Canada, will be destroyed (cf. Daniel 11:39; Habakkuk 2:6-8).

‘Elijah in the Wilderness’

James Malm (a blogger who claims COG ties, but who makes a lot of inaccurate statements, improper accusations, and biblically- impossible speculations) once again has posted another speculative prediction that cannot possibly occur. Here is something he posted nearly two years ago:

The fact that no one knew this during the life of Christ does not contradict Revelation 4-5 where Jesus is found qualified to UNSEAL these things AFTER his resurrection! “No one knows” does not mean that no one will ever know!

As Dan 12 tells us these things were sealed until the end time and at that time Jesus Christ will unseal [As per Rev 4-5 and Daniel 12] these things and reveal them in a large increase of spiritual knowledge.

There is an extremely high probability [at least 90%] that Christ will come in early 2020 and that the abomination will be set up in the Vatican in early Oct 2016 with the tribulation beginning by the end of 2016. (October 30, 2014)

As I reported back then and now, James Malm is 100% wrong. Those who understand Bible prophecy realize that there is NO POSSIBLE WAY THAT THE GREAT TRIBULATION CAN BEGIN PRIOR TO 2021 NOR JESUS RETURN PRIOR TO 2024. And until certain events occur, even those dates would seem early.

In the same post James Malm also added:

Brethren the time of our judgment for following men blindly and without question is at hand, within the next months.

I can proclaim zeal for God; but the choice is yours.

Friends and brethren, ‘the choice’ is easy. You can allow yourself to be deceived and believe James Malm or you see what the Bible teaches. Details that may assist you are in the article When Will the Great Tribulation Begin?

James Malm has made wrong predictive postings in past years. He has a zeal without knowledge.

He has frequently made false predictions–although after some he made several years ago (see Error-Ridden James Malm Not Doing an Elijah Work), he qualified them, sometimes with percentages–but he still has always been wrong about the start of the Great Tribulation.

Notice something he posted in 2013:

In 2018 the sixth day of ULB will be on April seventh. Counting back by 1,290 days comes to the setting up of the abomination on Thursday, September 25, 2014: IF IF IF 2014 should be the year, and if my count is correct.

Every year I post this calculation and every year people misunderstand and think I am setting dates. I am not setting dates, I am only posting possibilities based on the scriptures. The trib will NOT begin until the biblical signs are fulfilled. This is only the next biblical possibility.

However it is interesting to note that IF the abomination were to begin to do miracles in mid Sep; the Feast of Tabernacles would come several weeks AFTER the abomination is set up. (October 1, 2013)

Notice something he posted in 2012:

Scripture tells us that no agreement can be concluded and ratified until a miracle working final false prophet called “A Desolating Abomination” is set up in the Papacy, Rev 13, 2 Thess; and calls for the new European Order; which will amount to a revival of the unHoly Roman Empire.

Once this false prophet is set up in the Vatican [Due to the advancing age and health problems of Benedict this is now highly likely to be a NEW pope], and he uses his influence to set up the New Europe, he will go to the Holy Place within 75 days of the date he is set up and the tribulation will begin as he visits the Holy Mount and Peace and Safety is proclaimed to be achieved.

It is an interesting note that IF this abomination were to be set up around 6 Oct 2013, then he would go to the Holy Place around Dec 25 2013 to declare peace in the Middle East.

For the past several years, James Malm has had a tendency to have the Great Tribulation start within 1-2 years of some date (which is consistent with the above inaccurate speculation of his above). I have denounced his dates pretty much every time I have noticed them and of course, have been right every time and his dates have proven to be repeatedly wrong.

Here is something James Malm posted on August 29, 2012:

August 29, 2012: News is fast coming that strongly indicates that Pope Benedict will be empowered to become the abomination in mid Sep!!!…I have speculated that the tribulation could begin this year saying that there was as much as an 80% possibility.

Sadly, James Malm relies more on his own understanding than watching events like Jesus said (cf. Luke 21:29-36). James Malm has a habit of speculating on dates in the near future which biblically have no hope of being fulfilled. When will his “followers” realize this?

There are previous errors as well (see Error-Ridden James Malm Not Doing an Elijah Work). Because I have pointed them out, he often gets angry with me and has frequently posted falsehoods about me. While he claims I have done that about him, it is simply not true. My documented comments about his falsehoods were never made up and were based upon his statements related to how he misunderstands Bible prophecy.

There is no possibility that the Great Tribulation can happen in 2016 and those who rely on the Bible have realized this for at least the past three years. It is only those who overlook scripture and rely on their own views who make the mistake of thinking that the Great Tribulation can, or could, happen in 2016 (see also When Will the Great Tribulation Begin?).

The Great Tribulation is coming, but it will not begin in 2016. Jesus is returning, but not in 2020.
